Well, I honestly doubt that I can complete one game every month, unfortunately, so I'm not really going to commit to it. The biggest reason for this is that I just completed Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, on which the first trophy was earned on the 26th of September and the plat on the 27th of March, which should be 6 months, but PSNP sees it as 5 months, 4weeks and 2 days. So my question right now is, does that count (as it was 6 months, and PSNP itself says that my first trophy was 6 months ago)? If it does, that's my completion for the month. If it doesn't, then I don't really have another game for this month

I will make an attempt at this as well. I havent played Bloodborne in a long time, I ended up missing the Crow gear early on and could never find it so I sort of just gave up on it. Might start a fresh game to try this out.

Howdy, aaaaaaaaaaaaand it's done! Bad Company 2 100%! Onto Dead Rising 2 (PS3), only have to do single player and it's a lot of clean up! For online I'll be focusing on Battlefield 3 and Black Ops.

ok so i guess i wont be able to finish any more games this month here is my update

 

Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch (8,90%) All 34 Trophies 6th March 2021 • Platinum in 7 years, 9 months

i was kinda hyped for this game but when i first started it i didnt really have the 150h i expected it to take. in the end it "only" took about 80 but...oh boy. i would call myself a ghibli fan and i am a huge pokemon fan. so a pokemon-like game in ghibli style seemed awesome to me. in the beginning it definitley was but the further you dive in the more bad things show up. the most annoying oart of the game itself is probably the fighting system. espacially the system that lets you stop opponents moves and lets the opponent stop yours. this system is simply broken. stopping your opponents moves is incredibly hard because you can only tell your familiar to attack but not make him attack immidiatley so even when you think you hit the timing it sometimes just doesnt happen which sucks when you accepted some risk to be able to make the timing. also whats super weird you teammates can stop your moves. in the worst cases you even use up items just to get the effect denied by a teammates attack.
one time (in the final bossfight) i wanted to revive a teammate with an item that give him full health after he is back (kinda rare things) there first is some time needed were the item is activated. if you get hit in that time it gets cancel and the item goes back to your back. but after that time there is a bit of time need to actually revive the teammate (there is som elight effect going on and he magically gets put back on his feet). so what happen is during this lightshow going on the fairy came in to heal my time. a little anymation played and the reviving got canceled but the items was used up.....i really hated the game in instances like this. also the trophy for crafting is in essence and endless grind for rare items. 
maybe the second part fixed some issues.. i dont know and i aso dont think i will find it out
 

anyway with this one of the longest games in my backlog (that i also actually plan to finish) is done

Renegade Ops (1,32%) All 15 Trophies 10th March 2021 • Completed in 9 years, 3 months

 

no idea why i stopped plaing this back in the day. i think i got annoyed with weird time constraints in the missions. i guess they are there so its not possible to farm infinite points. anyway its really no big deal to finish the secondary goals within this constraints and it turned out to be a lot of fun to play. i also bought the dlc. all in all a decent little topdown shooter that done ine about 10h. if you like topdown shooter and got it in your backlog go for it!^^

 

so thats it for the month.
Currently i am still working on dragonage inquisition for ps4. first i want to get the platinum and then wait for a sale to get the DLC. one of them seems to have pretty hardcore trophy so i dont know exactly yet what i will en dup doing.
also in theory i am playing borderlands 3. but that got kinda pushed to the side by dragonage and now with this ps3 rumors i might just start another ps3 game. even if they are not true i have still so many left they need to get done anyway. 
So i may start stuff like tokyo jungle or from dust but thats still open to decide

I absolutely enjoyed Renegade Ops back in the day. Fun little game, with a cool 90's movie style nonsense plot.

FIFA 19 All 42 Trophies 18th March 2021 • Platinum in 2 years, 4 months

It's just another Fifa. Had a storyline to finish + some misc trophies only and forced myself to do so now. What a boring thing, whoever thought adding story to Fifa was good idea should think again

But on a bright side played a couple games with my old FUT heroes. Surprisingly game is still quite alive and much more fun without people abusing El Tornado/La Crocqueta/Elastico half of the game.

 

Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine All 60 Trophies 27th March 2021 • Completed in 1 year, 2 months

Had to finish some remainder of online (self boosting) and entire storyline. Online part made me priotitise this (really surprised it still works after all those years and THQ bankruptcy). My first real contact with Warhammer lore and I must say I enjoyed it. Its cheesy and all but really felt good being Ultra Marine. Might pick up few more games in the future.

It may have been one measly bronze trophy, but GAH. Two and a half years it's been glitched on my file, randomly trying and hoping a patch would fix it (though it's been dropped for a while now). Took resetting The End a number of times and then hours of trying when a successful attempt takes 2-3 minutes. It's the rarest in the list for a reason, apparently.

Glad to finally have that permanently crossed off. 

 

May wind up being my only trophy this month too, been feeling pretty lousy. Have to try and get next month done early since round 2 of the immunization will probably throw me off... maybe Game of Thrones or Blackgate?

Whew, made it a day to spare. From the mixture of being busy to not having much gaming motivation lately, took me a while to get my game completed for March. I saw @JayDeLosDioses completed the game I chose and figured, I could get that knocked out as well. 3000 stinking words later and it is done, just in time. Really didn't want my streak to end. Anyway, off I go to figure out what to do for April and how I will get it done...

I was hoping to plat Zone of the Enders 2 in time for March.  But I got stuck trying to SS rank the Aumaan Crevasse.  I literally watched one of the guys I'm trying to keep alive, jump into a group of 20 mobs and die immediately from full health.  And then I got stuck again trying to A Rank the whole game.  I don't think you can get an A Rank if you SS Ranked the two rescue missions.

Already completed my game for April, and to the surprise of absolutely noone who read the last few pages ... it's Bloodborne.

Completed the game in 5 years and 2 months.

 

I don't really know why I stopped 5 years ago, but I'm pretty sure it was the Forbidden Woods level.

Not the biggest snake fan in the world, the area is full of them... then there's a nice gank boss at the end of the level.

But I've made it through the game and the DLCs.

The deeper chalice dungeons caused some grey hairs to grow, especially the one where you limited to half of your maximum health.

 

The platinum also lined up nearly perfectly with the 17.000 trophies milestone.

Just a little bit of planning was needed to pop the plat in time.

 

I've reset my save to before the final boss and kept all of the chalice dungeons needed for the trophy to help all my fellow hunters, just in case someone needs a hand.

 Well I finished this sooner than I thought, after having the 1k Kill trophy glitch on me I was prepared to spend my whole weekend on this game too, only took an extra 143 kills for it to pop ?. Gotta thank @bruin-rocks for playing alongside with me from the start this game would've been 1000x more boring and painful without him.

After getting the platinum last year, I now add the 100% for Borderlands GOTY. 7 months after the plat and 1 year 11months total.

Thanks to the glitched shield @Fnee2000 dropped I just tanked everythink while setting them on fire with my Hellfire.

The Completionist trophy in the DLC popped early, instantly with the second to last trophy.

I don't know if that's a general bug or what happened there, but I'll take it.

 

It's already going to be my last "planned" unlock for this month, not because I'm out of motivation or anything, but I'm actually running out of games that are sitting long enough on my list and I'm also interested in playing in.

I've unlocked a trophy in GreedFall so I can 100% during the winter months

 

And since it worked for Bloodborne so well:

I'm currently playing Burnout Paradise Remastered and still need to unlock the Online stuff for the Police and Robbers DLC.

I think I can be placed on the inactive list since I can't find time to play games until I force myself into it. I think that is not what games are designed for - forcing you to play them and not playing them for fun (still playing Gems of War on daily bases - its like my mobile game on TV). I will keep an eye on possible server shutdowns and try to get my PS3 games done when every I feel in the mood to play them. I will also give updates because I play them because of this event which gives me motivation to get them done (I want them done because I am a completionist which rathers has 1 game fully completed than 100 games at 99%).

 

For now I try to get Far Cry 2 done because a server shutdown (on PC) got announced and I want this as the deadline for the online mode.

We've had this happen once before. PSNP duration isn't always accurate. When I put the dates into a calculator I came up with 182 days, or 6 months, 1 day. So I will allow it to count. Try not to cut it so close next time.

There's been a nice uptick of new participants lately & with it has come more clarification questions. It's been a long time since I updated the rules, so I feel it'd be helpful to sit down & redo them. Maybe format them differently so they're easier to read, include details on the DLC confusion & such newcomers may have missed the discussions for. Any suggestions or additions are welcome for that.
 
The big change will come with the reporting requirements. I was hoping the copied games played line most of you have been doing would save me some time when updating the OP, but it hasn't. From here on, please follow one of these templates with your completion post:
 
General:
Game - time - Platinum rarity       
        Example: Uncharted: Drake's Fortune Remastered [3 years, 1 month] P: 15.98%

 

You can add regions & systems (NA, EU, PS3, PS4, & so forth) if you like right after the game name.
        Example: Uncharted: Drake's Fortune Remastered (PS4) [3 years, 1 month] P: 15.98%
 
100% / DLC / Special
Game - accomplishment - time Absolute Rarity
       Example: Uncharted: Drake's Fortune PS4 (100%) [3 years, 1 month] AR: 3.11%

That might read a bit confusing, just glance at your section in the OP & it should be easy to get the hang of. This way it’ll be consistent per person, include the time & rarity, be easier to add to the OP & glance at when making the summaries. I know it might add a couple tedious minutes to your completion post, but multiply that time by the 30 or so games that get completed every month. Then take into consideration updating the completed games tally per person, new ranking if applicable, streak challenge images, & finally compiling these summaries. One copy/paste friendly line like that can be extremely helpful because this event has grown so much, it's difficult for me to solo host. I can’t keep up with all the completions anymore, it’s become a major time sink when updating. Plus, my transfer went through & I'm now daily out in the field doing my dream job. Bye-bye to being chained to a desk. But that also means fewer opportunities to sit at a computer, & when I do find a good chunk of time, I'd like to spend it with my hobbies. Like gaming 
 
In the meantime, I will be closing the sign ups for at least this month while the rules are getting updated. To anyone that posted about joining above this, don't worry, you are in. & everyone, continue sharing those backlog completions (with the copy/paste line at the end of your post, pretty please)! It's business as usual otherwise.

Just wanna post a quick update.    Since monster hunter rise released on the Switch most of the time I'm not trophy hunting so I guess this month might be a only 1 Plat month again.    Don't have the time to start bloodborne right now but guess I'll start it next month.    So right now I'm working on the binding of isaac (only need to unlock and get godhead for the Plat. 100% will be a pain). Really want the 100% before the new dlc arrives at the Ps4 because it looks good as hell.  Also working on Hollow Knight and Monster Hunter World.    If I don't get any of these games done this month I guess Evoland will be my backup plan since I'm almost done with it.    Keep up the great work everyone and happy hunting!
