Little Update as today i finished The Journey of Fifa 17, jumped into some online boosting to get some easy trophies and played 1 match of women's football + simulated an entire (women) tournament to increase the trophy progress :) 64% now on Fifa...

But the worst is yet to come. In Ultimate Team i must win an online tournament (4 wins in a row) but first i need a high amount of coins to enter :( after reading the trophy discription i wonder why the plat difficulty is just 5/10...  That one trophy will keep me busy for a while. Or i use the pay to win shortcut :awesome:

I have faith in your decision making. I believe in you, that you will spend your hard earned money to earn some trophies for our cabin :)

I finally have some time to start earning some trophies. My first target is FarCry 5. Hopefully it’ll be a fun journey.

Also, when I came up with my list - I wasn’t thinking. But could I get the Hermet theme to be Abyss - the artifex mundi game.

I've added it.

Day 6 Activities:

  • Betraying everyone I know and love... NOT! :P

Ni no Kuni 2: 39%

Well, considering I had not cracked open the plastic on this game until three months after I bought it, I am certainly making up for lost time by not touching any other game I have on the list. xD I'm at Chapter 8 now, almost finished with the main story and my party is Level 50 average.

Spoilers ahead, to make up for the mistake I made a couple of post ago. (Yes, I'm sure nobody will let me live that down... :()

Spoiler

The whole set-up that Leander and Roland worked together on to trick Ding Dong Dell into thinking Roland was turncoating was pretty impressive. It reminded me of that episode of Xiaolin Showdown where Raimundo was given beef when the Dragons went to train under Lao Pung(sorry, been a long time and cannot remember any names) and then he ran off and joined Hannibal Bean and then turned on him at a critical moment. Evan is smarter than he looks, realizing the whole thing was a setup to sneak Roland into Ding Dong Dell and find the McGuffin they needed to get Mausinger to submit to the Declaration. :D Also, if I hadn't been spoiled by TVTropes.com's entry on the game, I would have been a bit shocked to see Vermine suddenly acting weird when he shot Roland in the shoulder. Thank goodness for Soreaways or our hero would have bled to death. :o

Made a decision - I'll work on the others game on my list during E3 (and my parent's visit to one of my uncles in Florida) because I can't concentrate on the E3 videos and Ni no Kuni 2 at the same time. So I have to try to get as many trophies as possible in the three days I have.

I´ve got the Platin in Sly 3 Honour Among Thieves yesterday. Every year I finish one of the Sly games and this year it was the third one :D  Had some framedrops on my Vita in underwater Levels but otherwise it was fine.

Can finally start my bigger Project with my Bonusgame Ys VIII as a longer Project. :)  The first few hours were really good. Gameplay is really smooth and addictive!

Been putting some serious work into Lego Marvel Super Heroes. This is my first attempt at the platinum to any Lego game, and I gotta say probably my last. Lot of repetition and replaying and I’m starting to really get bored. Hope I can get it done by the weekend and move into something more fun.

Yea the reason I never got around to the plat for that game is the stupid rc race on a roof top I can't beat

For some reason I thought you had started this on an older account but unable to keep up with all your accounts so guess the not touching it could be true.

You knew better and have used spoiler tags in the past so unsure why you didn't use them this time?

Not a huge issue for you maybe but for others spoilers can ruin a game especially if interested in the story and especially for a newer game.

I get you are trying to be kind to the squid but but just know people react the way they do to him for a lot of reasons and he has pushed a lot of people to have no patience with him and honestly I am 1 with 0 patience for him feel free to remove me if you think this will cause drama but just thought you should know why some respond to him the way they do. Trust me when I say you haven't seen what has happened to some threads or how some threads/events have gone with him.

Thx for the comfort @Jensbut i didn't give any money to EA as i borrowed Fifa from a friend :D

I am thinking more about giving money to skip the grind to enter the draft tournament so @Toogie53's closer for what i may spend money :D

But to be frank I never considered paying any money for Ultimate Team. I tried it once, didn't really understand how I could keep the machine going WITHOUT spending anything and so I ditched it forever.

So without any joking I would really advise you against paying anything. If a game mode is designed to annoy you if you don't put in some more cash after paying for the full game (under normal circumstances at least).... its a pretty shitty design in my eyes :P

I am quite enjoying your daily reports on Ni No Kuni 2. Great to see you are enjoying it so much. It sounds like we are playing it at the same time but you are about a chapter ahead. I have spent alot of time messing around with the kingdom building, it is really fun. Anyway just wanted to say keep it up. I sort of feel you are keeping me focused on this game too, so a win win all around.

Take care,

Chapter 6, my time clock is very high but I have been basically leaving the game idol alot to build up the kingdom building currency too. I don't plan on finishing it this month but should have it done before the end of this event. I am considering waiting though after I finish the story as the Season pass is suppose to bring more story content and I would prefer to do that as well. We shall see I guess. I would second the Squids recommendation though very enjoyable game.

Update time:

Another plat for cabin #9, Demon's Souls is done&done

Ingame counter said 22hrs, I'm not quite sure why people tend to say it's a 100+ hrs plat.  I know you can get unlucky with the Pure Bladestone, but c'mon that's just lazy :dunno:

Also installed Gal Gun, played it for like 5min and de-installed it immediately. Just no.

My List:

Dark Souls Remastered   :platinum:

I AM ALIVE - 9%

Gal Gun Double Peace - 0%

Oxenfree - 0%

Until Dawn - 0%

Demon's Souls :platinum:

Life is Strange - 3 %

Yeah... no. The first one was such a huge disappointment that I won't be spending money on it. Now if it comes to PS+ one day, I may give it a shot, though that's a huge 'may'.

How big a disappointment are we talking I was thinking of checking it out but if it's average I might give it a miss.

Well the majority of the gamers (around 99%) seems to like it a lot, so finding people that didn't like it is rare. I got it after reading all kinds of praising reviews from other people on this site as RPGs are my favourite gaming genre. It's basically an open-world pokemon game, which sounds good. Here's what I didn't like about the game:

  • The story is extremely childish, predictable, and boring.
  • Human party members are mostly useless and are only good as meat shields.
  • Drippy is also one of the most annoying characters that I've encountered in my ~20 years of playing video games and he just won't shut up. Especially during the first 7 hours of the game, which feels like a tutorial. It's mildly funny to see him be cowardly and hide when danger appears, then take all the credit when it's over, but not throughout the game.I've been told the Japanese voice isn't as earbleeding-inducing as the English voice, but I wasn't aware of Japanese voices being included until after completing it.
  • RNG is also terrible, as catching pokemon is a random event and doesn't happen a lot. Since the pokemon have 2 final evolutions, it's pretty much mandatory to obtain 2 of them for a trophy to have 250 kind.
  • Besides that, you need some very rare materials that are only dropped by very rare spawns. It took me about 28 hours of farming pokemon to get the required materials and even obtained the 500,000 money trophy during that process, which is a huge grind itself when not using the fast casino method.
  • Then there are side quests that are shamelessly recycled over and over and over .... *10 hours later*.... and over again. At first it's somewhat entertaining to find the missing emotion and deliver it to the NPC, but after 5 quests it's the same $#!t all over again, and there are about 30-40 of these quests. There's a retarded NPC that always drops his journal, which you have to find for about 8 times. The game has bounty hunts to fight stronger enemies, but most are a palette swap of story bosses or earlier bounty hunt enemies.

The only thing I liked about the game were the visuals.
