I mean, besides the fact that most TV and movie-based games are trash, the show is... ugh. And I'm saying this as someone who was born and raised country. I support most kinds of hunting, but generally as a means of survival and population control. But the idea of killing animals in video games disturbs me, for some reason I've never been able to figure out. I mean, I'll happily go around and murder every single NPC in Skyrim and pose their corpses in hilarious ways, but it sickens me when I'm forced to kill a bird or a wolf. But I don't really have a problem with killing animals in games. A lot of games add a hunting aspect to them, nowadays, to craft gear and stuff. And I'm pretty sure you were killing them for food in the story. Outside of it, I guess it was just like one of those arcade games you see in bars or whatever. And my reason for buying it was mostly for the short, easy Plat. And I needed something cheap to get over the free shipping barrier on an order from Best Buy. I have to finish up this one web page for a demo this morning with my boss, and then after the wife leaves to go to the pool with friends, I should be able to sneak on to the PS4. Popular Post Kent10201 Posted June 6, 2018 Popular Post Share Posted June 6, 2018 (edited) Platinum #100: Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep What a journey this has been. 200 hours later and this platinum is finally mine. The Kingdom Hearts series is my favorite of all time. The characters are great, the story is interesting (if a bit confusing at points), the gameplay is fluid, and the music is some of the best in gaming history. That being said, Birth by Sleep ranks among the top 3 in the series in my opinion. The introduction of Terra, Ventus, and Aqua develops the story even further and leads to some huge plot points that are brought about later in the series. Terra is trash....we don't talk about him, but Ventus and Aqua are some of the best characters in a series known for them. (Especially Aqua) In addition to the story and character developments, Birth by Sleep introduces the command system which works really well. It allows for more strategy to come into play rather than just mashing attack for every battle, which is always fun but can get tiring at points. Not as a big of a change as CoM's card system, but just enough to make it feel fresh. Finally, the music includes some of the best pieces of music in the entire series, Dark Impetus being my favorite and Fate of the Unknown being a close second. The trophies aren't challenging, just extremely grindy. You have to complete the reports with all three characters meaning getting 100% game completion three times. After the first time it becomes a bit of a chore which is why it took me as long as it did. Once you get into it however, it's not actually that bad and each one can be completed in a weekend if you know what you're doing. The most challenging (and probably only challenging) part was defeating the Mysterious Figure (or as I like to call him the Mother Fucker) with Terra. This is because your dodge with him sucks and you attack extremely slow. It took quite a few attempts, as well as a bit of luck to beat him, but after that the rest of the plat was smooth sailing. Difficulty: 5/10 Enjoyment: 10/10 Two of my favorite tracks from the game and series overall. Spoiler Another game complete for cabin #4. Also @Toogie53 can you put Virtua Fighter 5 in the Play a Sport category (which I completed today as well) and Rayman Legends in the Hang Out at the Lake category. You can remove Bioshock from my list. Thanks in advance! For anyone who has BBS on their list feel free to ask for tips on making it go faster. Popular Post donut_plz Posted June 6, 2018 Popular Post Share Posted June 6, 2018 Update: A Way Out - I wasn't sure what to expect from this game as I purposefully went in blind, staying away from reviews/videos about it so as to not spoil the experience. I had high hopes though as everything I did hear about it was positive. Got to play through it with @Toogie53 over the last few nights and it sure didn't disappoint. Hazelight Studios made a great game. The story was really good and manages to keep you engaged the whole way through (even with a fair bit of interactive environment to satisfy your squirrel tendencies). They also did a great job on the variation of gameplay. Pretty much nailed the execution of this game. Many other developers could learn something from these guys. As far as trophies go there were some pretty fun ones and all are missable. Technically you could finish the entire game without popping a trophy at all. None of them are tied to the story. I believe we were probably over halfway through before we popped the first one. The game does have a fantastic chapter select too for post game and any missed trophy could be cleaned up within 5 minutes. I can see a re-play again sometime in the near future. This time maybe swapping characters and making different choices to complete the various objectives in a different way. P.S. Evil_Joker88 Posted June 6, 2018 Share Posted June 6, 2018 (edited) Little Update as today i finished The Journey of Fifa 17, jumped into some online boosting to get some easy trophies and played 1 match of women's football + simulated an entire (women) tournament to increase the trophy progress 64% now on Fifa... But the worst is yet to come. In Ultimate Team i must win an online tournament (4 wins in a row) but first i need a high amount of coins to enter after reading the trophy discription i wonder why the plat difficulty is just 5/10...
