Popular Post PostGameBlues
Very old and medieval feeling. Finally an FF game that isnt some advanced futuristic shit. Also very confident with this title since the FF14 devs are behind it.

Abby_TheLastofUs
Just now, Vergil said: PlayStation exclusive. On ps5 too Yeah, I edited my post. It's not coming to PS4. That was a typo on my part.
Popular Post Raidou Kuzunoha XIV
On one hand, I like how this seems to be more traditional FF in terms of its setting. On the other hand, it gets to the combat and all I can think is that this seems like FF15 medieval British edition. Hopefully it'll be decent, but I'm very much a stickler for old-school turn based or ATB FF.
Joe Dubz
Looks positively smashing! The combat does look to be more like FF15 or Kingdom Hearts-ish, as opposed to turn-based. I am certainly intrigued for this one!

I like the setting, but that FF15 gameplay look-alike isn't making me extremely excited for it (still, that's 1 more sure buy for me, along Demon's Souls and Gran Turismo)
Phlegeth
I think that's Ardbert's VA doing to voice of the main character, so I'm in.
Silver-I-Chariot
Don't care about the trailer, just tell me who is in charge of the game. If it's Nomura or any of the usual hacks then I wouldn't touch it even if it was free. EDIT: Nvm, Creative Business Unit III is Naoki Yoshida's team. ALL ABOARD THE HYPE TRAIN! NathanielJohn
I'll almost definitely still be getting it day 1, but something feels disappointing about this trailer. I'm glad that they're going back to a medieval setting, but everything else just feels like... nothing new? Maybe I'm expecting too much since it's coming on a next-gen console, but the graphics didn't look like an upgrade over FF15, and the combat (at least on its surface) just looks like FF15 combat again. Somehow FF7R feels more "updated" than this does, at least based on what this trailer shows. Edited September 16, 2020 by NathanielJohn

Helyx
Dunno if I'll follow the hype on this. Haven't enjoyed a Final Fantasy since XII, but worth keeping an eye on just in case it's not a train wreck.
Lava_Yuki
It sounds very British with the accents, i would have never guessed they would do that kind of setting.
Sword
Ah heck yeah! I'm excited for it! I really love Final Fantasy and I'm stoked to go on another adventure. I have no pre-tense of expectations. Give me whatever you want: turn based, action combat, whatever. I don't care, just bring on another Final Fantasy! RyokoNetsu
Don't really have any specific complaints other than the fact it only looks like you only play as one dude at this point but something about the trailer was just so... underwhelming somehow
Zircon_Lotus
Finally the setting is not something futuristic. And this one seems different from the others. The characters look more western, the game seems more violent and mature, and the series each day is further from being turn based. I only hope we not have to wait almost the entire PS5 cycle and that it is released full, and not the DLC fest that was XV.

Conor
I'm surprised by how much we saw of it. Story beats, characters, combat, this has been in production for a while! Late next year/ early 2022, perhaps?
