Popular Post MidnightDragon
Betty White died at the age of 99. She was just a little over two weeks from turning 100. Popular Post czDante92
She wasn't suffering from any serious illness or health problem, she was of sound mind until the very end and she got to live to almost 100 knowing pretty much everyone liked her. I'd say that's a happy ending.

EDJ3DG
Crazy how a couple of days ago I read an article in celebration of her almost turning into a centenarian and then this happens. RIP

RIP I read the same thing. Considering that not too many in Hollywood ever make it a full century, it was like they were going to plan a special event just for the upcoming milestone. I agree with the OP, the world is a sadder place today... ?
locutus442
It's a shame she didn't make it to 100. R.I.P. and reunited with her husband Allen Ludden in heaven.
You
Didn't make it to 100th Birthday but technically and on the bright side, she HAS died over the age of 100. Since all of us spend about 9 months in the womb.

wafflestomper810
It is a sad way to end the year. That Snickers commercial is one of my favorite Betty White moments.

Kristen Danielle
"At first I was sad thinking about Betty White dying so close to 100, but after thinking about it for a bit, dying at 99 while every entertainment magazine has her 100th birthday issue mid-printing is one of the funniest, most Betty White things she's ever done. I will choose to remember it that way— one last laugh from the Golden Girl." —Someone On Discord Edited January 1, 2022 by Kristen Danielle
Ezremclix
Only remember her from a couple episodes of the Mary Tyler Moore Show but regardless she was massive talent and will be missed. A big bucket of win for Miss White and may she rest in peace!

RadiantFlamberge
Here are Allen and Betty together on Match Game, the original CBS one. I watched MG a lot on Game Show Network and had seen Betty on there a few times. Brett Somers, a regular, was another one of my favorites. Allen, Betty, Brett Somers, and Charles Nelson Reilly together sounds great. Got GSN? They're running an 8-hour Match Game marathon with her starting at 9:00 AM ET on today, 8 January.
