Popular Post FarSideOfSaturn
#19 Bully - Valedictorian I'm aware this game is eleven years old so most of us probably know about it so detailing every little thing about it seems pointless. So I'll try something else. The first thing I noticed about this within the first 15 minutes was how much it was making me laugh. Seeing the stereotypical overweight nerd attempting to take down a 6'3 hulking mass of jock and getting his ass handed to him in comical fashion for the first time was amazing, cruel, but funny. And that's important because fun is the essence of this game. I never felt like it had a serious point to make, it just wanted to sit me down and have me reminiscence about high school a few times in the most comical, over the top fashion possible. And that remained through the whole game right until the platinumed popped. I think that's the first time I've played an entire game where at some point I haven't thought "ugh, fine, let's get this mission, trophy or whatever over with". What we've been given is a game that isn't concerned with being perfect. What it is however, is a game made by people who aren't afraid to go to new places and to take risks to give you something entertaining and original. They did a hell of a job. I read a review that described it as GTA for kids but I don't think that's right. Part of this games appeal, is as an adult is I can identify with some of the situations I came across, even in the most absurd of moments. If a 15 year old plays this are they going to make that sort of personal connection? Probably not because they're still living it. Like I said in a status update, if you're burnt out, or you feel that there's nothing original out there, like the market's stagnating, pick this up. Even after 11 years this is a great reminder of how much of a pleasure gaming is sometimes. Popular Post J2V89
#137: Red Faction: Guerrilla First started playing this game 2 years ago in which I started with the online trophies. They did take a lot of time for me and some of the requirements were winning 250 games and playing 250 games. The 16 challenges were annoying at times. The campaign I felt was good and fun, demolition master & transport actions to get pro times were kind of a pain. Platinum & 100% took me around 200 hours but it was worth it. Another game with online trophies completed.
Popular Post D-Tron
#126 - Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number TROPHY ADDICT Unlock All Trophies Thank the heavens this is finally over. Also, Hello again PSNP, it's been a while since I posted my last platinum. Not posting about my last two (Saturday Morning RPG and Amnesia: Memories) because those games and their platinums were boring as hell and I forgot to post about them anyway. Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number is the sequel to one of my favorite indie games of all time. The music wubs and dubs in a fitting way, the visuals set it apart from other pixelated games by having a crap ton of effects and gore and the overall gameplay was just really fun and frantic so I had high expectations going into the sequel. Despite maintaining lots of the fun and frantic moments the original had, Wrong Number is nowhere near as fun as the first game and I would only recommend this game to people who loved the first game. Hotline Miami 2 is much more narrative driven than the first game. The problem with this is that I feel like this sequel's very existence is meant to fill in holes and not to improve on what made the original so great. In Wrong Number's story, you play as several different characters aside from the original game's protagonist named for his fashion sense (Jacket). This removes mask selection on most levels and only gives you limited masks for some levels. Getting a kickass ability from a mask in Hotline Miami was so fun and instead of adding more, masks are mostly stripped away. The windows don't help either. Windows help the enemies cheat and they're much more abundant in this game compared to the original. It makes your deaths feel cheap as offscreen enemies you didn't even see kill you before you have a chance to see them. This happened to me a lot and I was only playing on normal difficulty. Hard difficulty is also new to Wrong Number. If you really think the devs couldn't make Hotline Miami harder then that's where you're wrong fella. It's really reallly and in a mostly BS way as there are even more windows for enemies to cheat with and there are even more enemies than before. One slip-up will lead to your death but you have to intentionally slip-up and die a lot just to get the hang of things before doing a legitimate attempt at the floor. Hotline Miami 2 is very hard and also very hard to recommend unless you adored the first game. It's meant to be much harder and much more challenging to complete. So buckle up and try not to throw your controller/Vita across the room as you die and die and die and die again and again and again. ^Did I mention I played this thing on my Vita. It's even harder if you go the handheld route and to those of you that did, you're the real MVPs. Difficulty: 8/10 Enjoyment: 7.5/10

Popular Post FOOTBALLNUT
#85 Alienated Get all trophies Platinum on 30th July 2017 (6 months, 2 weeks, 2 days) **********My Personal Gaming Enjoyment Experience********** I was addicted to twins sticks shooters game after Helldivers and I notice this Alienation during "Wars" in aliens planets while I still playing Helldivers but I totally forgot about the game. Anyway I don't buy new release game as it was so expensive, then to my surprise Asian PlayStation Plus made it free in January 2017 after a year it released and I'll keep this tradition of mine of not buying new release game to save money. Storyline is non-existing when come to twins sticks shooters game and Alienation was one of them. Without pressing anything on the controllers the story is been told during intro cutscenes so it was just finish 20 mostly identical mission. Gameplay is no different from Helldivers where I can melee or change weapon instantly when run out of bullets. The biggest difference is the weapon variety, it is so limited that each classes is been fix to one type of weapon in every slots, if want to use others classes weapon I had to get the season pass, luckily the season pass is having a offers after one month later. Sadly the characters classes choices is limited too, 3 is the magic numbers. I personally think playing alone is better than grouping up with others cause more player mean more and stronger enemies. I done all my mission alone while I did have trouble clearing the first world motherships as my weapons is too weak so I set the mission to public but to my surprise all players that join my game is pretty low in level and I end up pretty much revive most of them. Good thing is, it's take lot of firing off my back. One thing I don't like is the two trophies requirement cause those two really really depend on random luck. One is where I have to find and equip every weapon and equipment slots with level 30 legendary weapon another trophy require me to find a level 30 legendary weapon with 12 socket slots. I had a hard time finding that 12 slots legendary weapon and when I found it I was already in 30/150 level. The rest of the trophies list is pretty easy except reach one character class to level 30 in Hardcore mode, cloud or USB save really made my life easier. If no luck base trophies then Alienation is a very addictive twins sticks shooter but lost it shine after 100+ hours because of limited classes and weapons. I truly enjoyed this game until when I started to clearing up the last 2 luck base trophies. Will I play this game again after getting the plat?..... .....probably. Alienation Platinum Video And What a grind! Finally a 12 slots Legendary weapon founded Video Edited July 31, 2017 by foot_ball_nut edit a "video" word on youtube link...
Popular Post Nauticus87
This month has officially been my craziest month for trophies. These two are my 15th and 16th of the month and I've passed 500 trophies in a month for the first time! #134 - Psycho-Pass: Mandatory Happiness Took me over 2 months because of boredom. I just couldn't get into it, even after going through a couple of endings normally. When the mood took, I'd put it on and let it skip text while I played something else, occasionally glancing down to make choices. The mini-game was fun until 6-2, then it was frustrating. I was elated when I got 610,000 points, then had to go through the drag of buying every single voice module. It's a shame because I really enjoyed the anime. #135 - Criminal Girls: Invite Only I enjoyed this. The dungeons may have been repetitive but I liked the combat. Not that that stopped me from using the damage glitch for the final boss to beat him while my level was in the 50s, and again in the final dungeon to blast through the bosses. The censorship was pointless but the motivation was all of 10 seconds at a time so I didn't really care, not that I could have seen the image half the time anyway with my fingers prodding all over the screen. Also, the art gallery included shots that were just as 'explicit' as the motivation ones, so why censor one part and not the other? I'll definitely pick up the second one at some point. Just going to edit this in here rather than post again so soon. #17 for the month: #136 - Infamous 2 All I needed was 1 pigeon and to purchase all upgrades. Amazing what I didn't do back when I didn't care about trophies. Now my longest platinum at 5 years and 6 months. Popular Post Fire
#140 - Diablo III Diablo III Platinum Trophy Collected all other Diablo III Trophies. This game was in my backlog for almost two years, other games always had a priority over this one. I had a fun time playing through D3 and what I like the most about this game is a sense of progression. You can see your character actually developing as you play the game when you keep leveling and discovering different builds. Story itself wasn't much interesting, it was kinda dull tbh. But since i was more interested in gameplay, this didn't bothered me too much. Since this is an RPG, I was expecting some major amounts of grinding that would result in attempting to plat this game much less interesting. Completing the game's story itself (5 times) was not much of a problem, go through four acts, kills bosses, go through dungeons, kill stuff, and you know... simple stuff. But getting 5M gold, well that was a grind. And it's the only trophy and aspect of the game that i really hated At first i wanted to play with Barbarian, but i picked Demon Hunter instead. Once i unlocked majority of his skills, it was too OP I might pick D3: Reaper of Souls sometime, but that will probably take awhile. Popular Post Kongefar
#UniteInSpeed - 5,64 % (very rare) Boy, did that take forever... After reaching driver level 71 and having plowed through almost every inch of 21 DLC packs, I was still 4 races short of the plat. Unlike DriveClub Bikes there are really no skill specific trophies to gain in DriveClub, just a whole lot of grinding! There have been many highs and lows, but overall I enjoyed the trip through the game quite a lot. I will admit to feeling a bit burned out and getting the last few stars that I lack, and spending the hours involved in training, will probably have to wait a bit. I've dabbled into the Bike section after getting that for 10 bucks, and I will come back to that for sure. The game got a lot of slack at launch, but all in all, I feel the devs got it right in the end (before the studio was closed!). So it is very much still something to recommend for racing lovers, at least offline. But for now I feel great that I can put it away for a longer period after I started doing the DLCs in the early spring.

Had some problems with the NRG-challenge for "Bike or Biker"-trophy and the trophy "The Los Santos Slayer" (4.000 kills). That Slayer-Trophy was grindy... Popular Post DEsIx_KaerO
#105 Champion of Ivalice Collected all other trophies. Overall it was a pretty decent FF game, i like it, well... gameplay wise it's unique. But most of the time you don't have to do anything if you set your gambits right and have the OP stuff at the start of the game. Some of the bosses were pretty tough, especially Omega MarkXII, had to lower it's strength first and use Decoy/Reverse tactic. Ultima was a tough one aswell, beat it on 4th try. Yiazmat is pretty easy if you lower it's strength and defense, beat it in ~35 minutes or so, but i used all my Phoenix Down's all because of that one 1-hit KO move ;( Concurrences weren't that bad at all, i got Black Hole really fast and i already had Luminescence before starting to work on it. The others game me more trouble When i started to farm the Rare Game stuff i was zoning in/out in Pharos to spawn that Abelisk, but he wouldn't spawn at all even after 50 zonings. Turns out i didn't even start that Hunter quest in Phon Coast to get these Rare one's to spawn . Trial mode is pretty much straightforward till 80 or so floors. then it gets a lot harder. Especially the last 4 floors. Atleast Yiazmat had less Hp this time around, so it was a LOT easier, Omega was still tough. And let's not talk about those 5 Frickin Judges, i knew that they are the toughest/ hardest bosses to beat. But Damn. It took me one and a half hours to beat them, well with no specific strategy in mind, just debuff them, weaken them and attack. Without weakening them it's really tough if you have not prepared for them. But once you weaken their strength it get's a little easier atleast. but the problem was that they healed a lot, that's why it took me that long. even when they were just two of them left, i was stuggling to kill them, until i put one to sleep while killing the other. Yeah. took me long enough to just look up their weakness. Enjoyment : 8.5/10 Difficulty : 6.5/10 ( with Op stuff ), if not for them then it's (8/10) Play time : ~58hours Hmm, i guess it is that short because of 4x and 2x speed multiplier.
Popular Post Rally-Vincent---
Mass Effect 2 N7 Elite Acquire all trophies Also Trophy # 3.000 Good riddance, a mixture of good and no-so-good here. Late to the trilogy, so late that I waited too long in case of a remaster. After getting the Plat for Mass Effect (1) - a great game - I was close to # 3.000, so I decided to make this my next milestone, as ME 2 generally is viewed as the 'best' of the trilogy (or so I heard). Personally, I liked ME 1 way better. The storyline of ME1 had me intrigued until the very end, and the solution as to why things were happening was satisfying. In ME2, the story held me less captivated. Maybe I was biased because I didn't like for whom my female Shepard had to work. ME 2's strongpoint were the characters and their baclground stories - that was something I really liked. Yet I think the cast was too big, and since the main story is somewhat timed, you don't get much acquainted with the guys you recruit last. One guy stood out - Professor Mordin Solus. Such a great character, and his character development was very believable. My first playthrough on hardcore went pretty well, I can use that save to export to ME3. Lucky me, everyone survived. My second playthrough was less smooth. I experienced several bugs, from getting stuck on a cover to not being able to select powers. Then again, if you are at the highest level, the enemies can only get easier to defeat, right? At some point, I thought things went pretty well, and ten hours later I discovered why: The difficulty had reset itself to the lowest. ? I couldn't believe that I had to do it all over again. So once more into the breach. From what I know now, I made the two things wrong that you could do wrong for the insanity playthrough - make it a new game plus (not an imported character) and playing as a vanguard (my class from ME 1). Whoever thought it would be a good idea to scale enemies to your level, but remove every upgrade from the new game plus... well, it wasn't easy. What I often experience: people find missions difficult that I don't, and find missions easy when I want to throw the controller against the wall. I had to redo the last mission so I could bring another team to the final fight. Grunt and Legion (his combat drone was so helpful). Anyway, I am excited to see what ME 3 will be like. Popular Post Lava_Yuki
FFXV Gameplay: I loved the gameplay, the open world was interesting and new for me as it was my first open world game, and the battles were quite easy from a story point of view. The long loading times killed me though, especially in an open world game where there's lots of travel so it kind of defeated the purpose of fast travel as it wasn't that fast to be honest. I liked the characters and their interaction was cute (just had to use that word for four guys dressed in punkish attire). Fishing was a pain at the start but started to get fun after leveling up and getting good equipment, so i fished the place dry. Story: Totally rubbish, lacked detail and explanation with an ending shrouded in mystery. Very poor quality and short story for an FF which usually is strong on a solid and lengthy story, so that was indeed shocking. But it was really simple and the movie and anime supplemented it pretty well. Hours: 50 hours to platinum. After that I spent time doing extra side quests and exploration. Difficulty: 3/10, nothing hard or missable and anyone can do it.

The story, while a little confusing at first, was actually quite cool. The atmosphere of the game was interesting as well; very tense in some sections, especially on Akumu difficulty. That said, Akumu wasn't nearly as bad as I expected it to be. I guess it's one of those things where your anxieties build it up to be a lot worse in your mind so you somewhat psych yourself out. I managed to complete Akumu mode in 14:56:48 with 170 deaths. I personally thought I died way more times than that, it sure felt like it in some parts! Overall, I really enjoyed the game. Congrats! Impressive platinum with an even more impressive score. My results were 23 hours and 332 deaths. Lets plat the next one as well, no matter what! Why you might ask? Well...I didn't really care out building up weapons, only about status breaking, making it extremely difficult to fight the final boss. Popular Post TheLastSurvivorD
#73 - Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag (PS3) Prizes, Plunder, and Adventure! Win every trophy. Now that I have this, I'm really uncertain as to whether this or Assassin's Creed II is my favorite of the series. I liked the multiplayer and didn't find the level 55 grind to be too bad as I thought it was going to be initially. I'm thankful that most of it can be done alone though, as randoms that play Wolfpack are quite uncooperative. The single-player, however, was awesome. Everything from exploring islands for some collectibles, capturing forts while they're being bombarded and epic battles with man o' wars and legendary ships (in the middle of huge storms), to sailing the sea on the Jackdaw with the crew singing sea shanties, and exploring underwater shipwrecks. You had to avoid lurking sharks and other hazards on the way to chests and animus fragments. There was a lot of fun to be had here, making for wonderful moments. Especially the story. As I got most of the trophies last year, some details are already a bit fuzzy, but it was really immersive and I enjoyed it so, with some awesome characters to boot, a great protagonist very different from those before him, terrible betrayals, and a lot of deaths (not wanting to spoil anything). Other than Assassin's Creed II, this was also the easiest AC game, at least out of those I've played. With the right approach and sufficient upgrades for the Jackdaw, the legendary ships weren't hard at all, only taking a few tries. I can't say the same for the multiplayer, even if I didn't mind it, but I loved every minute of the single-player. This was an incredible game almost all around, even for those that aren't fans of Assassin's Creed. Time Played: 38:11:24

Popular Post Jesaya815
#184 Silence Master of Silence Obtain all the trophies Wow, this is a true gem with everything one can wish for. It has beautiful graphics, like right out of a children's book. The story is as deep as it can be (with Silence being the realm between Life and Death), and the characters are simply adorable - especially Spot and Renie. Speaking of, her voice actress did an outstanding job, as did the rest of them as well. The only sad thing - aside from parts of the story - is that the predecessor, called The Whispered World, wasn't part of the game in one way or another. Anyone who's interested should pick up a physical copy though, as the 1.01 patch blocks one trophy from popping, which is probably the reason why there are currently only 637 owners.
