Popular Post SaiXeN-_-
#81 | Claire Difficulty: 3/10 (w/o guide 5/10) Enjoyment: 6/10 Estimated time to plat: 2-4 hours Completionist Acquire all trophies. First of all I want to talk about glitches.. This game have a LOT of them. But... I was able to bite through it and enjoyed the horror atmosphere. On the one hand this game is hella glitchy but on the other hand - Game has a lot to offer. Narrative was decent not something new but I personally like multiple endings type of games. Gameplay was boring but.. It's an indie.. so I was not expecting a miracle for 4.99€/3.99£. Normally you will be able to finish game just under 2 hours.. But I decided to enjoy the storyline. So it took me about 4 hours to finish.? Also I've updated my 2019 Trophy Goals ? Popular Post Lance_87
#13 (and first of 2019): Crash Bandicoot: Warped - The N. Vincible Crash Bandicoot! So yeah, here we are... got a PS4 Slim for Christmas, and a copy of Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy, i made a promise years ago, i would've bought a PS4 once they made a Crash Bandicoot game for it, now i'm 1+ year late, the game is actually 3 games from my childhood, it eventually became multi-platform (i wanted to get it on PC but it probably doesn't run well, it's 11 years old now with no known plans to upgrade it, getting a PS4 was a cheaper solution), and they've recently announced a CTR remaster lol. I also have plenty of other games between previous cross-buy purchases, free-to-play and Instant Game Collection (i have all the PS4 games they've given away since 2013 or whenever they started adding them), but i decided to start with this collection. Started playing the first game on December 26, finished the third on January 6th. However, i only went for the Platinum with the third game, because i'm too scared to get all the relics in Crash 1 and 2. I finished Crash 3 with a 105% percentage maybe twice on PS1. I went for the relics only in this game because they were literally a part of the game, as they were required to unlock extra levels and the true ending. I also got the two DLC trophies while i was at it, but no Gold/Platinum relic, only Sapphire, just to have that 108% completion At least i finally got the red gem in Slippery Climb for Crash 1, i couldn't get it on PS1 because i sucked at that game. Too bad i got the infamous completion bug because i got the clear gem in Stormy Ascent after defeating Cortex Edited January 7, 2019 by Lance_87
Popular Post Elvick_
Platinum #160 Disney Universe Platinum Universe! Collect all other trophies! I remember when this was announced and thinking it looked dumb, largely because the character design. Felt similar with Disney Infinity until 2.0 came out... and then fell in love with that series, and I wanted more Disney so picked this up and started it. And finally got around to finishing it. It's pretty good, but gets really repetitive after awhile. I think that repetition would be less with playing with other people. I watched a clip of the game with 3 players and it looks a lot more fun. Coincidentally, I started this in January of 2015, finished in January of [obviously] 2019. If I waited 20 days it would've been 4 years exactly lol The grind to max out the costumes was tedious as hell. You flat out do not make progress at all. You get 1 star per stage in a level. Three levels per world. (so 9 stages). Each costume requires 3 stars to max out. Sounds good, right? You do a level and you're on to the next... welp, what's the reward for finishing a level? Another costume. What's the reward for finishing a level a second time [seemingly required to get a gold rating since there's more enemies; no matter what I did I'd never get gold the first go through - even playing perfectly]. Plus you need all the costumes for trophies anyway. So as you max out one, you get another to replace it. Effectively ensuring you never make any actual progress. And constantly switching to a new costume every time you start just so you don't lose ground and get more overwhelmed means starting every level weak as shit. It takes forever to beat the bigger enemies with the 1-star and 2-star upgrades. The 2-star helps with small enemies as it stuns them and has bigger AoE on the ground pound [which is what you'll probably be spamming the entire game because otherwise you die so damn fast]. 3-Star is great, it shoots out 3 fireballs in addition to it's ground pound. 4-star is perfect. Shoots like 5 firecracker looking things and does a lot of damage. But you only get that in the boss fight stage. And then you reset back for the next one. Which makes playing through even more tedious. but I didn't want to increase the post-game grind... so you could say the trophies make the game worse. Developers need to think more about trophies and how they might taint their otherwise decent games. One cool thing that the game does is lets you quit after each level and resume from where you left off. It's a small thing, but it's really helpful. And lets you abuse the system if you think you might be negatively affecting your gold rating run(s). Or if you miss one of the few missable collectables in a few of the levels. And, collectables save seperately from your general progress so even if you start over you don't have to do them again. If the game had more smart design like that it'd be a lot better. The level design was pretty good, but some of them were just annoying because the enemies. This game shows why having puzzles with enemies around sucks and is probably why there are a bunch of games where they're separate entirely. The story is more a framing device. I forget the start of it, but the gist was that the AI of a theme park(?) gets a virus who sends the baddies into each attraction and kidnaps the people [in costumes]. Yes those ugly blue people. And you help the good personality save the day. I forgot there was a plot until I finished the last level and got the closing cutscene. Otherwise it's just some joke intros to each level. Which were pretty amusing. The ending acted like they'd get a sequel too... that's not aged well. Playing as just chibi versions of Disney characters would've been a lot better, and I think would've been more marketable than just random blue things dressed up in costumes. Some of them working better than others. [all the Wall-E ones suck - Stitch is adorable]. Music was pretty good, although some of it didn't really fit the level/world. A few of the Aladdin ones were good but didn't make me think "Yeah that reminds me of Aladdin". There were some outright shit stages, like this one in Monsters Inc where you have to guide robots by placing these monitors on spots to direct them. But enemies constantly spawn and they move the things around and by the time you kill all of them the robots are all gone and you have to wait for the next wave and the same problem happens. When I replayed that for the 2nd time I just kept my fully upgraded character to make it easier. It was so obnoxious otherwise. Combat could've used some more depth. There's ranged power ups, so I don't know why some of the costumes didn't have ranged attacks. Having different types of character classes would've added a bit of something. But every character plays the exact same. Same bonuses for the level ups too. So why they make you max out all of them for a trophy is beyond me. They should've just let you play with your favorite, which is obviously what people would WANT to do. If you're going to force that on people give them a reason beyond just a trophy. Have characters have different abilities or something. This could've been better, but I still enjoyed it more than not. Popular Post RedRodriguez87
#192: Enlightenment Oh, man, have I got alot to say about this one that I've been wanting to get off my chest for a while. I remember seeing the trailers for this back in 2010. You know, this one. And I was excited. It was like a japanese GoW with bloodier gameplay of a Naruto Ninja Storm game. So the year passed, the game was toned down quite a bit, but hey, it still looked awesome. After all, it looked like we were definitely getting some awesome boss-fights. So finally, it came out, I got it..... and by the time I finished the game, I was MAJORLY disappointed. This was not the game I thought it would be; it was a glorified QTE-fest with little to no punishment and dumbed down Ninja Storm esque combat that remained the same throughout. The cherry on top of the crap sundae for me? The story. Stupid anime melodrama in all its obnoxious glory. In 2012, I was sick to death of this, it seemed like it was in every anime I saw; lots of yelling, one-dimensional characters, and idiotic plots that were either "NO ONE SHOULD BE GOD" and "HUMANS ARE THE REASON THE WORLD SUCKS" bs, I just wanted to be done with it. Yeah, the visuals were amazing, the animation superb, but what does that matter with Asura's constant yelling and the villains insistence on being so one-note that they end up looking like dumbasses incapable of grasping the situation they're in to the point you wonder how they rose to power at all. Seriously, every confrontation between Asura and the bosses reminded me of this. Asura = dog Villains = Homer Bag of chips = them trying to kill him So I forgot about it, for a while, until the DLC for Nirvana came out. I figured, at least I will beat all of it so my criticisms could have SOME validity to them. So I did, and. There was something different about it. Something better. Not only in a more obvious sense, such as spruced up QTEs, more varied locations, more dynamic scenarios, and an actual sense of CLOSURE when it was all done, but, it kinda made me think, "Hm, maybe there was something more to the main game that I missed". I didn't think much of it, though, so that was it. 2018 came around, and I decided I wanted to check up on that last battle, which popped into memory for some odd reason. That in turn lead me to say, "Ah, what the heck, it's been years, let me give it a go once more, and try to plat it. That way, I'll know for sure what I think of it". So here we are, and man, what can change in 6 years. Not everything, mind you, but quite a bit. First of all, the story........ Yeah, it still sucks (IMO). A big part of what I can't stand, ARE the character's paper-thin personalities. I know it's meant to be fueled on emotion rather than logic, but c'mon, there's gotta be SOME foundation. You are supposed to feel Asura and his wrath, what with everything he loved snatched away from him, but the thing is, he's ALWAYS angry. He's angry when you start the game, and everything is a trigger for him. And because he doesn't have an off switch, it get's tiring to endure. There's comparisons to be made between Asura and Kratos; both perpetually pissed, going up against enemies that exist solely to piss them off, but here's the thing. Kratos' anger is clearly framed as destructive; the more and more it isn't quelled, the more and more screwed the world gets, until the end, where everything is in ruin, and Kratos sees that he isn't satisfied, and that everything is his fault; he won, but he got nothing out of it. There is a point, and payoff to his constant anger, and while the result may not be to your liking, it's there. Asura on the other hand, seems to be pissed just because from the beginning so when his life falls apart, you wonder "well, if it wasn't that, it would've been something else". And because noone else is affected by it, and nothing bad that happens is his fault, he just ends up being at best a boring character, and at worst exhausting to watch. So with no interesting characters to gravitate to, all that's left is the spectacle, which leads into ANOTHER issue I have with stories/anime/games that make it a point to constantly top itself; unless you establish who you are, what you are trying to do and where you are going, sooner or later, you're GONNA hit that ceiling. Any attempt to go higher is just gonna look stupid, and eventually, people are gonna be worn out trying to follow what you are doing. But what I did come away from appreciating even more than I did was just about everything else. The visuals are great, REALLY great. The game as a whole has a feel, an aesthetic, an arts-style all it's own, that obviously a lot of love and care went it into. The graphics, the character design, heck, even things like the gauges and button prompts look so unique and individual to this game. The gameplay is still monotonous, but hey, when you try to go for the plat, you come to appreciate all the little things you CAN do. It's kinda like KH2 for me; mash attack to win, but spice it up with a Triangle here and there for something cool to happen. The cutscenes? Loved them. Everything feels big, important, grandiose, spectacular, with fluid exciting dynamic animation to compliment it. CyberConnect (at least their animation department) to me remains the king of bringing anime to the 3rd dimension. So on the whole, I really am glad I came back to this one again. It ain't great, but it really was unique and one-of-a-kind when it came out (though I'll say it'd probably welcome nowadays with all kinds of story driven simplistic gameplay titles out on the market). It's definitely something to be looked at and studied for what it did wrong and what it did right. As for a sequel or successor of some kind; if it happens, I'll take a look, if not, that's fine too. I mean hey, in this day and age of properties older than AW being revived, none of can say it will never happen, right? And yes, I did get the DLC again. Popular Post Barbell-Disciple
#12 - Horizon Zero Dawn Difficulty: 3/10 Enjoyment: 8/10 Really did enjoy this one over the Christmas period. Looked amazing on my 4k OLED and the gameplay was pretty solid. Kind of reminds me of the Arkham games (bare with me); the combat is as simple as you need it to be, yet the depth is there. You could probably get through the game on the lowest difficulty just spamming arrows and not putting too much thought into it. Or you can play on a harder difficulty and play a far more tactical game, utilising more weapons and ammo types. The depth is there which is highly rewarding for those who seek a slightly more challenging experience. Overall I'd give this game a rock solid 8/10 to match my enjoyment factor. The story is good, the game is beautiful and only a few things hold it back from a higher score imo. The characters seem a bit robotic/emotionless at times, especially during the cut scenes and the pacing was slightly off throughout parts, again just my opinion. Also, I enjoyed The Frozen Wilds DLC more than the main game! The new enemies are awesome and the snowy setting is gorgeous! I really enjoyed learning about the Banuk. I just need to go back and do an Ultra Hard play through to mop up. Will likely polish off a couple games that I got for Christmas and then jump back in. Really looking forward to it!!

Popular Post FilmFanatic
#197 - Monster Hunter World Conqueror of the New World Unlock all trophies for Monster Hunter: World. Overall this was a very good game although there were a few things that got pretty tiresome like monsters jumping all over the place literally every few seconds. I went with the long sword which was a lot of fun and got to try a few of the other weapons when doing the arena matchs. The grind for gold crowns wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be and I got a good chunk of them from events. Playing the game with other people was easily the most fun especially when everyone had different weapons. I also managed to get 23rd on the fastest achievers list as I played this mostly over my Xmas holidays and was regularly going to bed at 2 to 3am every night (and as late as 5am once).
GraniteSnake
#101: Apotheon Two things surprised me about Apotheon: it's high number of game owners and it's low platinum completion rate. Was this a PS Plus free game at some point? I never heard of the game before. It was on sale for less than a fiver so I decided to pick it up. Aside from a few seemingly random game crashes, I enjoyed this game quite a bit. Story wise it was pretty standard, reminded me of the God of War games. The levels were laid out well, and I liked the artistic style of the game. The controls during combat felt a little clunky at times, and the in game physics were a bit odd. I found myself skipping as many fights as I could as the game progressed because the rewards given from dealing with a horde of soldiers just didn't feel worthwhile. The weapon you get from Zeus makes the clean up an absolute breeze, and the silver trophies pop quickly when following a guide. You also pick up the majority of the lockboxes during these side quests. If it wasn't for the Olympian glitch I probably wouldn't have even got the platinum, the one playthrough was enough for me. My final play time was around 12 hours. #102: Clockwork Tales: Of Glass and Ink Standard Artifex Mundi game, except this one only required the one playthrough. Beginning to enjoy these point and clicks, they make a relaxing break from the usual games I'm used to. The plot was strange, which seems to be the norm from this developer. An enjoyable few hours. #103: Dark Arcana: The Carnival That creepy background track is still stuck in my head... another point and click that I picked up cheap. This one required two playthroughs, but the game is short so I didn't mind. The trick of leaving just one hidden object on screen made those monaco puzzles a breeze. Really strange plot that is actually pretty dark and sinister. #104: Devious Dungeon Another easy one from Ratalaika games. Pretty short sidescroller that caused no issues. The levels are randomly generated, and you must play through three in a row without dying to progress to the next set of three. The five boss battles are pretty easy, and only certain enemy types can cause problems. You purchase upgrades as you gather coins from breakable boxes and enemies scattered throughout the levels, and I had many upgrades still to purchase by the time I finished up with the game. The only trophy I had left after completing the game was to 'collect 100 keys', but that only took an extra half an hour of my time. I noticed that I'm close to 5000 trophies and I've decided to coincide this milestone with me achieving (well, hopefully) the platinum for MGS: Peace Walker. I think I've about 50 odd hours on my save file and still have a bit to do...
Popular Post Bumperklever
First plat of 2019 is a fact! #85 Guardians of the Galaxy (PS4)A Little Help From My FriendsDate Achieved: 7 January 2019Rarity: Common (68-69%)Enjoyment: 8.5/10 I guess this is an enjoyable TT game. The story starts with a big bang and slowly but steady comes into conclusion. This with a lot of drama in between. The big positive of this game is that I felt like choices in this game mattered. Atleast more then TotB, Batman and GoT. Next to the great cast that guardians of the galaxy has. However screen tearing and other problems still occurs a lot in this TT game. The infamous "chapter 3" glitch happened to me as well, luckily I didn't had to restart the whole chapter. Also I found the graphics to be the ugliest of them all. I rate this higher then GoT due to more meaning in choices and story in general. However I feel like Tales of the Borderlands is still better due to its charm and the ending.
Popular Post Justin__Harris
Platinum #56: Severed (VITA) Game Score: 7/10 Platinum Difficulty: 3/10 First platinum of the new year goes to this fun little gem from the creators of Guacamelee!, which is a game I still have yet to play. Haven't been around my PS4 for a little while, so I thought I'd look into games I hadn't played on my Vita. It's a pretty fun adventure game with a sweet, but sad little story. It's a touch based game, so you're going to be swiping all about for various tasks and battles in the game. Admittedly, I did find some of the battles to be annoying because sometimes the touch response would be inaccurate and obviously that's the major frustration in any game that relies on these types of mechanics. Even so, despite some annoying battles and puzzles here and there, it's not a difficult game. I didn't need to use a guide to get all the trophies, but I would probably advise doing so to save yourself from some agitating backtracking, which you will do A LOT if you're not paying attention to every little puzzle and secret you're supposed to get. I think it took me around eight or nine hours over five days to 100% it. Worth playing, especially if you're looking for a fun, mobile time waster.
Popular Post TenebraZero
#27 Darksiders II Deathinitive edition BFA Unlock Everything Enjpyment 8 Difficulty 3 Time to plat 45 hours This is really a great game but i have enjoyed more the first even if Death is a totally bad ass. The newly difficulty Deathinitive is probably hard at first, here some tips to save time : Play the game on NG+, prioritize Weapons with life steal, wrath steal, strenght and critical up ; about the accessory/armor, prioritize Arcane critical % up and arcane critical damage up, about the skill branch, choose the 3 servant ghoul and mximize it. That's important because they do the majority of the work(they do arcane damage BTW). With this setting you are probably instoppable and you don't need anything else. There is also an handy glitch for making infinite money/life and wrath bottle but with the setting above it's not necessary. A last warning: the game crash often, to avoid this it's better to turn off subtitles and damage output on option menu.
Popular Post Desmuria
#138 - Steins;Gate Sky Clad Observer Unlocked all trophies. Enjoyment: 8/10 Difficulty: 2/10 I picked up both Steins;Gate games in the January sale for PS Vita. I have to admit, I really enjoyed this game. The idea of having chat options via phone calls, text message and D-mail was really interesting. There were lots of different endings to go through and I was pretty hooked on the story, which is why it took me two days to complete. The game is pretty handy as it keeps track of your progress for certain trophies in the menu, which is awesome. I highly recommend these games to anyone. #139 - Steins;Gate 0 To the Promised Place 100% Completed Steins;Gate 0. Enjoyment: 7/10 Difficulty: 1/10 In comparison to Steins;Gate, this game was a lot shorter and a lot more simple with regard to endings. You can easily get this game done in about an hour if you auto-skip through everything. I didn't find it as engaging as the original, but it's not a bad read by any means. If the PS4 versions of these games go on sale in the future, I'll gladly buy and replay them both for the stacks. Once again, highly recommended.

Popular Post eigen-space
Platinum #69 - God of War (PS4) Time to Platinum -- 40 Hours Difficulty -- 4.5 out of 10 Enjoyment -- 8.5 out of 10 God of War (PS4) is the story of a father and son's adventure and relationship building. The story centers around Kratos ("Father") and Atreus ("Boy"), and uses Norse mythology (with a little bit of Greek mythology thrown in for old time's sake). The game focuses on action-based combat as well as some light puzzle solving as well as a whole lot of impressive graphics and storytelling. I personally don't play a lot of AAA games, nor do I tend to play games that have action-based combat (I can only really think of one other game I've played recently with this style of combat). Though I don't have an opposition to them, I don't think I've played many M-rated games before either. All of these combined made for a pretty unique experience for me, and I can't say that I disliked it either... apart from some of the more gory scenes that led to the M-rating (here's a non-spoiler example)... not really my cup of tea. The writers in this game did a phenomenal job of making the story engaging until the very end as well as building in some of the more interesting Norse mythology (even though some of the mythology was inaccurate... but it had to be for story purposes... can't say much more on that without spoilers). The graphics in this game were amazing, and I wish I had a PS4 Pro and/or a better TV to experience them on. The game also does a good job with the trophy list-- the non-story trophies were all challenging without ever feeling tedious, which is extremely strange considering how many trophies were based on gathering various collectibles. The game was rather difficult for me at first because it's combat-heavy and I'm not really used to games that require as much precision, dodging, blocking, etc as this one does (most of my battle systems are from JRPGs, typically with turn-based combat). I honestly thought I wasn't going to like the game just because I was dying constantly at first and was too proud to switch to the "Easy" mode. However, with practice, even the most difficult of bosses were overcome with relative ease (without changing difficulty)... and when you do bad ass things in battle in this game, it's pretty rewarding and fun. I got a huge adrenaline rush from many of the boss battles because they were pretty epic. Some things weren't really up to par, though. I was a bit disappointed by the soundtrack of this game; it wasn't bad by any means, but it felt very sparse. A lot of the tracks were reused (or were so similar that they sounded reused)... I would expect more from such a big budget game. Some of the graphics were also not very good in certain places; honestly, this could just be my TV, but I'm not so sure because it's not like my TV is awful for other games... I just think this game really needs a PS4 Pro and fancy TV to look it's best. The places where I had problems where in the darker areas-- you couldn't see much at all, and it was rather painful to go from dark atmospheres to light ones... they tried to emulate the "real life blindness" that you would get if you crawled out of a cave into the daylight, but it didn't work so well imo. The last thing that I didn't like was how easy the battle became after practicing it... even the Valkyrie Queen (who is the ultimate post-game superboss) was pretty easy once you figured out her attack patterns. I was honestly surprised since many people complained about how hard she was even if you played on "Easy"... I was hoping for more of a challenge by the time I got to her (and let's just say that if I can beat her, I'm sure anyone can, especially if you're used to this style of game combat).... I guess I could have increased the difficulty, but maybe I'll try the game again on "Hard" mode in the future. There was also one point where Atreus becomes a total brat, which I wasn't a fan of at all. But it was for story purposes and he snapped out of it pretty quickly, so it wasn't terrible for very long. All-in-all, very strong game, and I can see why some people think it was Game of the Year material. I'm looking forward to the next installment (there's very strong indications that there will be another game and/or spin off). Don't think I'll be playing any of the older games, though... but I will probably read in-depth FAQs on all the things that happened in the prior installments (did some light reading on the happenings in the prior games, though it's entirely unnecessary for this game... just gives you some insight).

This year however I am determined to try and knock out some of the backlog. So my first Platinum for 2019 was this little game. It was a bit boring at times, but it gave me a few chuckles. Playing this whilst chipping away at Assassin Creed Origins meant that it didn't get too boring, but playing it to completion in one sitting would not be fun. Popular Post SirEricLPer
Platinum #45 Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus Difficulty: 8.5/10 In the end I actually have to say that this game wasnt actually about the difficulty of the individual levels but more about dedication. If you create strategies for each level and know most of the enemey spawns this game is even doable for non-FPS-players. Another problem is the knowledge throughout the entire playthrough, that if you die you lose around 2.5 hours of progress. My successfull run took me around 3 hours and 20 minutes or so, while taking some breaks The proclaimed hardest level of the game "Courthouse" wasn't a problem for me - I didn't die once there. The level that gave me the most trouble was the Roswell underground section, due to so many things going wrong and so on... If you were contemplating about going for this plat - try it. The satisfaction at the very end was one of the best in gaming - Also this game is really a fantastic shooter!
Popular Post Rick_Sanchez
Platinum # 229 Fun: 8/10 Difficulty: 3/10 The order 1886 is known for being a massive letdown and ending too soon for a $60 game. I do recommend buying this game for less than $10. With that out of the way, you do get a 3rd person shooter that doesn't pose much of a challenge as you can play on easy for all of the trophies. Just follow a video guide for the collectibles and all you have to do from there are kill related trophies. Be sure to use every weapon you come across to kill enemies with as there is a trophy for killing an enemy with all weapons. All in all, there is nothing terrible about the order 1886. It looks amazing, plays well, and I liked the characters. It is short and not worth $60 or even $20.

Popular Post ex10097
100th Platinum - Utawarerumono Mask of Truth Legendsung Difficulty 3/10 Enjoyment 9/10 Really sad that with this game the Utawarerumono trilogy has come to an end. I played the fan-translated ver. of the first game on PC ages ago and really enjoyed it. So during my holidays after finishing all my miscellaneous tasks, I finally started playing the sequels Mask of Deception and Truth. The slice of life developments in Deception allowed me to get properly attached to some of the characters, so when shit hit the fan and the story rapidly accelerated near the end, was quite sad regarding the huge cliffhanger at the end. Mask of Truth is much longer, has more story and way more battles. The game kept me completely hooked with the civil war and all its tactical games played between the two commanders, but when you think it's finally over after bringing the war to a close and reinstating the rightful liege, more unexpected truths get revealed! The final stage is not the final battle, as there is an epicly long final battle right afterwards that properly concludes the Utawarerumono saga. The Dream Arena is much easier than the previous game due to better mechanics, but also much longer plus you have to replay stages multiple times because of those atrocious drop rates! Lucky for me I got most drops in two to four tries, especially Ultimate Showdown with Benawi and Mikazuchi and the final battle against four Akurukutas only took three attempts! Conversely, the drunken Shis battle and the Tatari escaping one took me 6 tries dammit, considering a 60% drop rate. Can't believe I got the fastest times for both Mask games in EU Vita, since I like to take my time to completely explore what a game has to offer to me. Not that many platinum achievers either. Guess the EU ver. (54 Vita + 464 PS4 owners) isn't getting a lot of love unlike NA (906) and JP (3881). Given how much I enjoyed the game, I wanted to give a rating of 11/10 but the bittersweet open ending brought it down to 9/10. The interesting plot twists and events of the game kept me wanting for more, so a disappointing ending like that completely killed my momentum at the end. Played through the entire Dream Arena hoping for more but nothing more than entering the developers room and listening to their commentary. Seriously they could have done a much better job. Like searching through reddit I came upon this OST image which shows Kuon reuniting with Haku in the ruins that they first met. Now why couldn't they have included that CG in the actual game itself? Spoiler Though I liked how the original protagonist who was sealed at the ending of the first game is freed at the end by Haku. They resolved that plot point at least but now Haku's taken his place and he can only meet Kuon through dreams. Would have been nice if they made some afterstories of Haku and his various harem members together like in the Arifureta novel (Story is complete around 180 chapters, but more than 340 chapters now about their lives after returning to Earth. An isekai story like Mushoku that is finally done right. Being summoned to another world, betrayed, turning into a complete edgelord, suddenly fluffy-sugar-diabetes harem, then saving the world and returning back to Earth as a demon king with OP wives).

Popular Post NorbR338055
#24 - Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage! Difficulty: 3/10 Enjoyment: 7/10 Another Spyro, and another good game. I'm enjoying the trilogy a lot, and I don't mind the easy plats that come along with it. That being said, I didn't like this one quite as much as the first one. At times it felt like the game was trying too hard, looking to one-up the first game, introducing new gameplay, new characters, new this, new that ... and I couldn't help but feel that it lost the charm of the first game in the process. For example, I didn't like having to backtrack to earlier levels once I learned new skills. The first game was much more satisfying in that regard imho: 100% a world, and move on. Nice and clean. Oh well, minor details. In the end I still had a blast. Curiously I had virtually no problem with the flying levels in this game, a few tries every time and that was it. On the other hand, some of the orb challenges tested my nerves a lot more (those thieves in Mystic Marsh ... that strongbox in Fracture Hill ...) And we finally get some real, challenging boss fights (well, 2 out of 3) which was a great improvement on the first game. Still, another good one. I've started Sypro 3 already, and it looks just as good. I'll be sad when I'm done with this trilogy for sure.
