Popular Post GarciaFever
#188 Life is Strange: Before the Storm Damn this was such an awesome story! I can't believe that one action can make a whole difference. As much as I want to get into the specifics of what happened, I won't do it. If anyone has ever thayed the first Life is Strange game, then it is definitely worth checking out this game. Also, I will definitely check out Life is Strange 2 in the near future, provided that I can find it for cheap. Lastly, I just want to say that I almost regret picking a certain option while hanging out with Rachel, but luckily I was able to pause the game in time and redo that part. I think most of you who played this game know which decision I am talking about lol
Popular Post thefourfoldroot
Dragon Quest 11 Fun 8 Difficulty 1.5 Fantastic game with no missable trophies. It did seem to drag on a bit towards the end, but ultimately satisfying and not too grindy despite taking 104hrs to finish everything. Will leave it there as I'm late to this party and most who care will have the plat already. Edited April 8, 2019 by thefourfoldroot

Popular Post Cave Johnson
超次次元ゲイム ネプテューヌRe;Birth1+ 超次次元ゲイム ネプテューヌRe;Birth1+ マスター 超次次元ゲイム ネプテューヌRe;Birth1+を遊び尽くした It's hard to believe it's been almost four years since I played the original on Vita... I didn't realize how much I missed these games until I started this one a few weeks ago. It even made me buy the exact two games I said I didn't care about/probably wouldn't buy (Brave Neptune and VIIR). Now that I've sold my soul to CH, would it be too much to ask for an actual new game in this series? That said, I'd buy Re;Birth2+ and 3+ if they ever happen without a second thought. Yeah, I know I'm part of the problem... For those who don't know, this game didn't get localized for whatever reason. Playing it with Japanese text made me realize that I didn't really miss IF's shitty localization, anyway. My only complaint is that they seem to have upscaled everything but the text. It's very noticeable when looking at the character names, but it doesn't make them any harder to read, either. There's not much else to say since it's more or less the same game with a few enhancements. One cool addition is that all three members of the active party now walk around together in dungeons. The only problem with this is that it is three times the amount of footsteps. Seriously, why the fuck are the footsteps so loud? It was fine once I turned my SE to 20%, but still, that's not something I should have to do. The trophies are basically the same as before; the only difference I noticed was the level up trophies. The characters that were DLC originally are now part of those trophies. They also require getting to level 100 instead of 99 — a completely negligible difference. Getting 100 million credits is still a trophy and is just as pointless as it ever was. Thanks to the colosseum I got it done a lot faster than I was expecting. Platinum screenshot*: Spoiler *Not actual platinum screenshot. It should've unlocked then, but I guess it starts to count the credits upon leaving the results screen.
Jelly Soup
#101 - Metagal (PS4) The platinum itself can be done in under nine minutes, really. But I decided for the first playthrough (since buying the game once gives you a stackable copy for Vita & PS3), I'd play all of it. It's pretty much a generally unremarkable Mega Man clone, with admittedly cute drawings and sort of bland OST. Really, forget the trophies, I could see this selling just because it will scratch that Mega Man itch, quality aside.
Popular Post Jelloycat
Platinum #76 - Psychedelica of the Ashen Hawk Realllly slow start on this one. The second chapter especially really dragged on forever, so much so that I kind of wanted to give up on it. Once the plot actually starts moving though the game is a lot more interesting and enjoyable. There were a few characters that I really liked as well, although some of the endings did leave a bit to be desired. Overall, a nice visual novel, as long as you can get past the beginning.
Popular Post DamagingRob
#387 & 100%- Deus Ex: Mankind Divided #CantKillProgress You experienced Deus Ex: Mankind Divided™ and collected all trophies. Congrats! KYC reviews: Day 1 & Final Review. Don't think my opinion has really changed. I liked it, because I typically enjoy stealth games. But it's kind of a pain in the ass. Breach Mode would have been way worse without the infinite energy exploit, though. And the rest of the DLC was pretty easy, and not nearly as annoying as the main game (no Foxiest of the Hounds crap in those, thank God). After failing to get Foxiest of the Hounds the first time, this video that @nojokaboom () linked me, helped immensely: Spoiler Here's a link if the box doesn't work (it isn't for me, which seems to be a problem with spoiler boxes lately...): https://youtu.be/J_GZNz57xUU At just over 2 hours, it made my second playthrough end in less than a day. And this time, I got the trophy, along with the one for beating it on the highest difficulty. Backed up my save a few times, but pretty easy to avoid dying when you're trying not to get spotted. Lol. If I did, I just quickly quit the game and loaded my save. Platinum screenshot: Spoiler Edited April 8, 2019 by DamagingRob

Popular Post KaiserVendrix
Platinum #5 Nioh Difficulty: 7/10 Enjoyment: 6/10 My first trophy on this account was from Nioh, things happened and other games was played and it got left behind. One day I was motivated enough to take on the 100% for this game and I'm glad I did. While the first playthough wasn't as though as some other games similar to this genre, it's playing on Way of the Demon that will test you. I'm not the type of guy that will give up after getting the Plat, I made damn sure I did everything! Really enjoyed it and I'm looking forward to seeing where my gaming takes me next.
Popular Post SeedersPhD
Platinum 88: Ziggurat Difficulty: 4/10 Fun: 8/10 The game was a lot of fun. Its got an aesthetic and attacks like Heretic, gameplay like Quake, but it's a rougelite like Binding of Isaac with its equipment and ability system as well as its floor-based progression and its permadeath. The trophies weren't hard, with the exception of winning on hard mode, which you can cheese by using the cloud to back up your save after every floor to reduce the consequences of death, and completing the first floor without getting hit, which just takes awhile to get a decent run and you'll spend an hour or two figuring out the fine details of the first-floor bosses. Everything else was just a small grind that wasn't too long or painful, and the core gameplay remained fun even until the end. Glad to be done, but also glad that the game was real good.
Popular Post Black_Rose_IX
#45 Super Meat Boy Enjoyment : 8/10 Difficulty : 9.5/10 I've been wanting to play this game for a while now, and I'm glad I did. Despite my no death runs getting screwed over a bunch of times due to eaten inputs, it really was a great experience for the most part. I don't usually play platformers so this took a bit of getting used to and also much dedication for obtaining the platinum which proved quite difficult. I'm very proud of this one. Popular Post DiegoMolinams
#78 - Farm Together When I was a kid I used to play a lot of Farmville on Facebook, so I was really looking forward to this game. I felt like a little kid again playing this game, it is like a modern version of Farmville. The design is colorful and cartoonish, the music was relaxing and there is a ton of variety when it comes to items. Leveling up is super fun and there are many possibilities when it comes to farm design. Loved playing this game, took a while to get the platinum but it was so fun. If you want an easy and relaxing platinum trophy I recommend this game, just have in mind that it is not a fast platinum.
Popular Post DoctorGameGeek
? Enjoyment: 8/10 ? Difficulty: 4/10 I honestly thought I'd never finish this platinum. Between some of the tasks that really aren't that intuitive and the repetitive game play to complete the character trophies, I wasn't sure I would make it. Of all the trophies, I'd say the Gourmand is the hardest. You have to beat (or not beat) B-path bosses in a particular sequence to get every possible food item to show up. I honestly got it while grinding away for optimum equipment. It just so happened that I quit trying to season and flip food and wanted to cook everything and anything as fast as I could (hungry NPCs help). That said, aside from the Elf, I enjoyed learning the battle dynamics for all of the characters. I simply stuck with the Fighter because his defense and attack power really helped me through the worst of the time trials with the Ancient Dragon. I'm not sure when I'll go back and try to max everyone to level 255. I may never do that. On the other hand, if I get back onto PS+, I'll gladly help out folks. Popular Post Undead Wolf
#251 - Senran Kagura Shinovi Versus Thank You for Playing!! Obtained all trophies. I finally got around to playing a Senran Kagura game. I don't really have much to say about it since I played the game while watching/listening to other things (due to its repetitive nature). I had fun with the game, though, and of course the eye candy was a big plus too. The whole clothes destruction mechanic reminds me a lot of Bullet Girls which certainly isn't a bad thing. Not sure who I would consider best girl yet. Maybe Asuka, but I'll make a final decision later, probably after I finish Bon Appetit! (the rhythm game). #252 - Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trilogy Ace Attorney Trilogy Get every trophy. This series is the one thing that ever made me consider purchasing a Nintendo handheld. Ever since I watched an LP of the first game a few years back, I've had a great amount of appreciation for these games, so you can imagine how excited I was when Capcom announced they were bringing the original trilogy to PlayStation. I would have preferred to play them on Vita as these types of games are much more suited to handheld, but I'm just glad we got them at all. So as I previously stated, I had already watched a full LP of the first game, so I knew what was going to happen there. I went into Justice for All and Trials & Tribulations completely blind, though, and it was an amazing experience! Lots of quirky characters, funny moments, and that feeling of satisfaction you get when you start putting the pieces together. Most of the cases are their own little self-contained stories and I was always looking forward to what shenanigans Phoenix Wright and the team would get into next. The stories are sooooo good! The music is in a league of its own too, especially in the first and third games. Now that I've finished all three games, I suppose there's only one thing left to do... Spoiler Man, I love Godot. Please do yourselves a favour and buy this trilogy! You won't regret it, and hopefully if it sells well enough, Capcom will bring more Ace Attorney games over to PlayStation.
Popular Post Venocide
#174: Nights of Azure Nights of Azure Unlock all trophies. Not a bad little game, nice artwork, great soundtrack, great characters but the game only focuses on the two main characters, Arnice and Lilysse, still I enjoyed my interactions with the side cast, fun battle system as well. Thinks I didn't like about the game...questing is very repetitive... you can only select one quest at a time at the beginning of the game, you can up that to 3 using skills. Most quests are the same, I think there's like about 30 in total and they just rotate, some can be done by just visiting a certain location, like... as soon as the area loads you've completed it lol very lame, but I'm glad the devs made them so easy because you need to complete 300 of them haha And the game is very easy, but right up until the last boss there's a huge difficulty spike which forced me to actually think about how the hell I'm gonna tackle it, what servans I'm gonna switch out etc And after you beat the game you unlock two extras bosses, they wasn't that hard, with nightmare form they can be taken down relatively quickly. I think the coliseum is where I struggled what the most, I completed all tasks with ease except the last task, which forced me to come on here asking for help. Of course, because of the wondeful PSNP community, helpful as always, I managed to complete it pretty easily. All I needed really was better items to up my attack lol after that I beat her using nightmare mode only once, I did find some really nice items in the Halls of Infinite Darkness which upped my attack power significantly. Well, now that that's out of the way, time to work on my next milstone. It's Bloodborne if you're wondering.

Popular Post Myu
#153 : Mary Skelter : Nightmares 27.02% A nice little dungeon crawler. The guide says 45 hours but it actually took me ten more because I explored pretty much everything, except for the Bonus dungeon. This one was huge and not really related to the story, I feel like the game wouldn't have suffered from not having it. The story felt rushed towards the end and some mysteries remain. I don't really want to read the whole novel you unlock upon reaching the end but I think the devs probably put a lot of info there because they didn't have time to make it part of the main plot. I don't really know. The game was easy enough. On Dream difficulty, there's no real challenge and you can progress smoothly. Some traps hurt really bad and I ended up with a few game overs because of flamethrowers + autopilot. If they ever do a sequel, I'd be happy to play it.

Popular Post madbuk
#308 - LEGO Marvel's Avengers This is definitely one of the better Vita LEGO games. The plot... wasn't anything special but that's the norm with LEGO games really. Free play clean-up went remarkably quickly which was nice and the open world, which they decided to add in here after being absent in every other Vita LEGO I've played so far, didn't take long to complete with a map. It's kind of odd how they give you a red brick for open world collectibles though and then... still hide some of the collectibles on the map even with it active? Why? This was more like Batman 3 than Movie/Ninjago, in that there are 5 objectives per level rather than 10 - 1 for finishing, 1 for getting enough studs, 1 for all collectibles, and 2 that are level specific things like taking no damage in a certain section. This is much less tedious than the 10 challenge system from before that would have you replaying levels multiple times because you couldn't do it all in one run. Also I've often seen this referred to as the most buggy Vita LEGO game, but honestly it was one of the least buggy for me. I had one bug where aiming broke and I had to close the game entirely to fix it, which meant redoing the whole level, and I had one crash during the open world - a crash that forced me to turn of my Vita, not just an "error has occured crash". The aiming issue seems to be a common thing in the Vita LEGO games though and for it to only happen once is remarkable. I also never had any bugs that caused my character to continously move in a single direction forcing me to close the game - a common issue in other games like Hobbit or Movie. Only 3 more Vita LEGO games left until I've done them all, and 2 of them (I think?) are the 10-challenge style ones which is a bit disappointing. I had originally planned to leave this to be one of the two final games I do (along with Star Wars) to get the two 10-challenge style games out the way first and send the series off (on Vita) on a high note, but a backlog event selected this game to be played, so oh well. I'm glad I played it, it was a lot of fun.
Popular Post Ala-Arska
Salt and Sanctuary (PS Vita) Saltborn Achieve all possible trophies He's an iron chef, I named him Saltnpepa. Pan you dig it? How can one make a grim game about food condiment and a resting place? Pretty easily, it seems. And in the progress it turned out to be an enjoyable one, as well SaS is a 2D hybrid of metroidvania and Soulsborne games (for some reason I hate the term Soulsborne, too trendy). A good mix, then. Graphics are pretty in a gloomy way, mostly present colors are different Shades of Grey and black. Like in Passenger 57, always bet on black Each boss looks unique enough, and some enemies even outright creepy. Nothing like getting impaled by My Little Pony Gone Wrong. Music and sound are implemented to every situation successfully. Whether out in the open or indoors, the sense of isolation really comes through. Controls are mostly responsive. In combat, where they matter the most, everything works as should. But I felt minor hiccups in platforming. When jumping from ledge to ledge in a hurry or wall jumping, I'd sometimes get a short straw and just fall because of nothing happening Plot wise there's not much to discuss about. It's one of those titles where you have to figure it out yourself as you progress. A spiritual journey of sorts. Overall I fancied Salt and Sanctuary quite a lot. Definitely worth getting, if exploration and constant dying is your thing Edited April 9, 2019 by Ala-Arska
