Popular Post Dr_Mayus
One Piece Pirate Warrior 2 This was my first "Dynasty Warriors" game and was quite an experience. I don't think this type of gameplay is my cup of tea but I can see why some like it. For me if the game was like half the length (or just got rid of all the crew battles) then it would have been a more tolerable playthough. Honestly once I realize that Eneru could completely wreck any level then the game became shockingly (no pun intended) easy. The only tough part was when I couldn't play as him but then Ace was able to clean those levels up with little difficulty. A fun game but I don't think I need to play another one.

Popular Post snakebit10
#273 Bulletstorm: Full Clip Edition Dead Echo Got this back when it was free in Plus and started it right away only to put it down after completing a play through of it. Recently went back to it just to clean up some trophies I thought I could get and that lead to me finishing it. Got to give a shout out to @DamagingRob for helping with some of the Anarchy trophies. It is a game I have wanted to play since it released on PS3 but never did. I found it to be quite fun. I loved the skillshots and all the different ways you could kill enemies. Glad to have this one. The march to 300 continues.
StiffTripple_X
Plat #57,58,59 Claire Been awhile since I've posted on here. Don’t normally but three games in on post but you know doing it this time. All these games are pretty good in their own way. Most of you should know bioshock and Minecraft by now so I’ll skip talking about them. Claire is one of those 2d horror games with a decent story. It is far easier than lone survivor to plat though.
Popular Post FluffyAssassin64
#108 - Dishonored: Death of the Outsider "Truest Self" Earn all trophies If I could sum up this game briefly, it would be "the weakest entry in the Dishonored series, but still fun to play". Not much more to say really, haha. All the mechanics you know and (mostly) love from the core games, with a different protagonist, some new powers and abilities, and a new - pretty decent - story. Level design was pretty good overall: with 2 new (and clever) missions, 2 good but somewhat short, and 1 that was pulled basically straight out of Dishonored 2. The new stuff was pretty fun, but the lack of variety showed itself quite early (to me, at least). Billie is a cool protagonist, but I found myself missing the more fun stories of the past 2; with more interesting characters and scenarios. Dishonored 2 was just better in basically every way. The story, locations, level design (Clockwork mansion and time-travel-mansion in particular), variety in abilities, impactful choices, etc. have all stuck with me much more than anything in this game will. Though that wasn't a perfect game either, it was a damn good one! Death of the Outsider was solid - and I realise it's a shorter experience more akin to a (very) long DLC - but I can't ever see myself coming back to it again. Some of the 'negative' stuff is still here too; spotty swordplay and hit detection, inconsistent stealth AI etc. - but I still very much enjoyed another adventure in Arkane's world. Trophies are pretty straight-forward too; I missed a few on my first (blind) play through, but they're all easy to get later. The 'original game +' mode (this campaign with 3 of Emily's powers from D2) was VERY quick and easy - I finished the whole game in 1 hour! I enjoyed playing on Hard for my 1st 2 playthroughs (I find it more enjoyable when there's at least some challenge), but easy for this 3rd one was the way to go. Overall, if you enjoy this series, DotO is worth a play if you can get it for a reasonable price. Dishonored 2 is greatly superior, and even the remaster of 1 is excellent, so I absolutely wouldn't recommend this as an entry point, but it's a decent continuation of this story. NorbR338055
#31 - Astro Bot Rescue Mission Difficulty: 3/10 Enjoyment: 10/10 A rare 10/10 from me (although that's two in a row after God of War). Seriously, for anyone who has a PSVR, this is a must play. I expected it to be good after playing, and enjoying, the demo level in the Playroom VR, but I didn't expect it to be this good. The variety in the levels is impressive and makes for a constantly awe inspiring experience. Boss fights are pretty fun too. And I particularly liked the "collectibles", sometimes tricky but never too difficult to find if you listen for them carefully (with the exception of the infamous flying bot of course ...) And a fitting platinum screenshot to finish on Hookshot Highway, the only challenge that forced me to look it up on Youtube, since it looked impossible without the shortcuts, and I never even thought of those shortcuts. Well played, game. Overall the challenges were really fun too, I liked how the time attacks were always nicely choreographed so that, if you did everything right, you could always run through a level without ever stopping for any obstacle. Felt good. I really don't have anything but praise for this game. Can't wait for (hopefully) the sequel on next gen VR ?
Popular Post Dr_Mayus
Life is Strange: Before the Storm I ended up liking this one MUCH more than Life is Strange. I think the major thing is most of the horrible dialog was replaced and we only got like 3 Hellas in the whole game. The story was fine and I just think the characters worked really well in this game. It still had its faults but was a much easier playthrough and I enjoyed my time in Arcadia. Also that end scene with the phone vibrating was very sad...don't need to say too much if you haven't played Life is Strange yet.
Popular Post IntroPhenom
Platinum #44 (PS4) Rayman Legends Legendary Current rarity: 4.39% Personal Difficulty: 8/10 Enjoyment: 10/10 (base game), 2/10 (challenges) Rayman Legends is undoubtedly one of the top side-scrolling platformers, and an amazingly fun non-stop party. The music and level design alone qualify it as sensational, and the animation and the humor are unforgettable. The controls are tight, if not poorly explained (I really could have benefited from a meatier tutorial, regarding sliding, brake boosting, etc.). Were it not for the challenges required to achieve a level 11 of Awesomeness, I'd play the PS3 version. But I won't, because damn those challenges. Months of ten of fifteen points a day was a tedious effort, and one I will not repeat. The rarity isn't due only to the last level of Awesomeness, I feel. My gaming skills were put to the test during the 8-bit levels, and the invasions. Once or twice, I doubted my chance of success. But I persevered, focused, swore quite a bit. No diamond cups, and thankfully no required diamond cup trophy. I'm very happy to move on to something else after all this time.
Popular Post Dokusha
#94: Utawarerumono: Mask of Deception Despite its silly name, Utawarerumono deserves far more recognition than it currently has. These are visual novels with SRPG battles regularly sprinkled in between the story action, and let me tell you, the writing and localisation in these are both superlative. Protagonist Haku wakes up in a strange land with memory loss and is soon found by a young woman with animal ears and a tail called Kuon. Sounds a bit stereotypical, I'm sure, but the story swiftly takes off and goes to some incredible places. Moreover, the world of Yamato, inhabited by its colourful cast of animal-people, feels very much like a place that could've been real. You can really imagine what it must be like living there, and that's not something video game worlds tend to pull off all that often. If you have but a slight interest in the visual novel genre, I stronglystronglystrongly recommend Utawarerumono. As for the trophies themselves, it was more challenging than your average VN because of the combat-related trophies. It's still very easy to get most of them just through natural play, but reaching the max level with one of your units, and using all possible skill chains at least once? That took some effort. It was fun effort, though!

The game plays like Ys. Favorite OST besides the OP "Seize the Day" was "Raging Rush"(To me it sounds like a song from Power Rangers) and "My Blaze, My Truth". Of the girls I liked Rion the most and Asuka 2nd most. I be getting the PS4 one day.
Popular Post AK-1138
Platinum: 264 Difficulty: 3/10 (without a guide) Enjoyment: 6.5/10 Playtime: 8-10 Hours Though the gameplay is largely the same, it's a little bit of a step down from Crimes and Punishments. A little too action-oriented for my liking, though never veering too far into Guy Ritchie Holmes, thankfully. The puzzles were pretty fair; I only looked at guides for clunky "moving stuff to create a path" pieces that I know I'd screw up on and waste time, which would severely hamper my enjoyment of the game. Deducting your way toward solutions using clues and information was as fun as ever. They should have had more of that. Speaking of which... Overall, it was a little too short to ever get off the ground; the frantic pace had me gasping for air at points. The cases were a little too confined to London itself, with endless back streets and one-room hovels. Missed the more varied locations from Crimes and Punishments. Still though, I'm impressed with what Bigben can achieve with their less-than-AAA budget, and more importantly, with their non-AAA headspace. With some more polish and more focus on the more cerebral aspects of the Holmesian idiom, they still have potential to make a truly great game if they only choose to.

On the krypt u can impale the head to get the victories. U repeat dat total 5 times. There r also threads about that in mortal kombat 11 if u click on the game to see the threads. Popular Post Carol
#158 Sniper Elite 4 Platinum Trophy Win all other trophies to take your place as the world's greatest sniper This game was my initiation to the Sniper Elite series. I like stealth, so I was curious about these games for a while. I ended up buying the complete edition in a sale and i'm glad I did, because Sniper Elite 4 has everything I like. Although it's not a completely original or groundbreaking formula, it's a very fun and enjoyable experience. I was afraid that the sniping would be too technical and the stealth too demanding, but, fortunately, the lower difficulties of this game are very accessible and the game helps you a lot, so I didn't have any problems getting into this game and enjoying it. Trophy-wise, Sniper Elite 4 is a medium difficulty platinum. You have to complete the campaign in Authentic difficulty, with no manual saves. Authentic isn't easy, but it's doable. You can play with a friend and you can also create a public match and people will come and help you, so that makes it much easier. The game is also very friendly, when it comes to saving points, so no manual saves wasn't a problem either. You also have to collect several sets of collectibles. The game has a very good collectible tracker, so you can explore the levels on your own and then check what specific collectibles you are missing. I also loved that this game has a strong emphasis on online and that everything feels so well integrated. For example, in most games, certain trophies are attached to single-player only and others to multiplayer. In Sniper Elite 4, if you want, everything can be multiplayer! I love playing with other people, so that was awesome! I could work on trophies, like killing with traps, having a certain amount of kills with each type of weapon, using every weapon in the game or mastering the weapons, while playing some very fun survival matches with other people! I loved that particular aspect of the game and I wish more games did that! In conclusion, I think you can feel how much I enjoyed this game. If you like stealth, sniping, a WW2 scenario and playing with friends, it's definitely a game worth playing. I'm definitely going to play the other games in the series and I'm happy that V2 is coming to PS4 soon.

Popular Post Elvick_
Platinum #173 Phineas and Ferb: Across the 2nd Dimension Lifetime Accomplishment Award Collect every trophy in the game. Pretty fun game, but with some glaring issues. There's this hacking minigame which has four spawn points for enemies that attack two 'tower' things. The health bar for these 'towers' you have to protect until you finish the hack is placed right on top of one of the enemy spawns... what a dumb design choice, and there's extra space on the bottom of the screen since the playfield doesn't even cover all the screen. Biggest issue however is the horrible and tedious minigames. The crane in particular, but the ball game isn't much better. I forget what that game is called, but where you take the balls and roll them up the slope and into holes on the top. It's like that. This one isn't too bad, but the reward system makes no sense. I would get fewer tickets by completing the entire thing. But get more by missing 3 spaces. The crane is just so painfully slow and easy to glitch the capsules into places you can't properly grab them. Or they clip out of your grip. Or just don't get picked up for no reason. And you have to do both minigames for collectables. The game itself is fine, other than the second to last boss which sucks. It took me ages for the second to last phase of his to actually progress so I could eventually beat him. Replaying him wasn't even as bad since it didn't do that again. :/ I had to refight him for a trophy [and go through the dumb level before him for some reason; he's the only thing you can't go directly to]. And the way that when you collect things to build the game comes to a halt for a pointless confirmation to pop up that you can now build. Yeah, I know game. Thanks. ._. The cutscenes were really blurry compared to the actual game, and I didn't even notice it was based on a movie until the very end when really compressed animation which I assume was from the movie started to play. I think everything else was in engine up to that point. So that was strange. Overall the in level collectables weren't too hard to find, I only missed 3. Two statues and one upgrade chip. The game can get repetitive, a common thing for licensed games usually. But I had fun with it overall. Just the last section of farming that crap crane machine wasn't so fun. Another licensed game on PS Now down.
Popular Post RunItsAShark
#60 Destroy All Humans Difficulty: 3ish/10 - Nothing too difficult. A few side missions like the cow race can take a couple tries. Enjoyment: 5/10 - Meh. Hated it. Lazy port, crashes every time there's too many enemies on the screen, counted 5 times just today. Game didn't age well either. Played it when it originally came out in 2005 so thought it would be nostalgic. Bad choice.
Popular Post JaM
#285 Axiom Verge PatternMind You have fulfilled your legacy I have heard lots of positive feedbacks about this game and I was interested in it but I keep to procrastinating in buying it. I guess it was a good thing because months later, I saw a Multiverse Edition for thr Vita. It was the sign for me to buy this game - but due to lots of backlogs, I have shelved the game for months. Anyway, it is a great and fun Metroidvania game. I am even unsure if I like this game more or Guacamelee. The only down side I guess is unlike the other Metroidvania game, the collectibles in Axiom Verge is not really that easy to find and also at some point, I get lost and unsure on where to go next plotwise - I guess I am glad that I bought the version that has a free map on it. It somehow made me worried when I was about to do the speedrun, I had to rely on the map and guides to know the routes. I would definitely recommend to anyone that loves that genre. Popular Post voodoo_eyes
#357 - Lost Sphear This one caught me by surprise and surpassed my expectations. This has by far one of the best progression systems in any JRPG ever, because it doesn't require you to grind for the sake of grinding. The combat is great and you keep being introduced to new things for several hours. You can buy weapons and armor, upgrade the gear, buy new skills. Also there is mechs, you can transform and fight as mechs and use special attacks that way. Enjoyment: 8 Difficulty:3.5

Popular Post Conor
#28- ASSASSIN'S CREED II (PS3) Master Assassin Enjoyment: 7/10 Difficulty: 3/10 Time Taken: 2 Weeks, 5 Days, 1 Hour (30 Hours in-game) Rarity: 5.2% Very Rare (PSN) / 25.51% Uncommon (PSNProfiles) Hardest Trophy: In Memory of Petruccio (Bronze)- Collect all feathers Requiescat in pace... Back when it first released, I was crazy about this game. The first game was a big disappointment given how hyped-up it was (which taught me to keep my hype and expectations in check in future) so I had low expectations for this, in spite of the buzz about it. I was blown away. The gameplay and mission variety was far better, the collectibles actually had a purpose and progression was far more meaningful. And then there was the man himself... oh, boy. Ezio Auditore da Firenze. Far more interesting than boring Altair, Ezio remains one of my favourite video game protagonists to this day. I can't say that the game has held up all that well for me though. It's still good but the gameplay just feels very sluggish and counter-intuitive. I haven't played an Assassin's Creed game since Black Flag but that was a far better controlling game than this. Of all the games I've replayed from my Xbox days so far, this one has aged the poorest. Due to the multiplayer requirements, I won't be going for the rest of the Ezio game platinums on PS3 so I'm skipping right to Assassin's Creed III which has far easier online requirements. I will come back to them on PS4 though.
