Popular Post RedRodriguez87
#231: Brainiac 4 months, but I'm finally done. Mostly because of the off and on interest I had with it due to that start out glitch where the game would freeze up. On it's own, the game itself is great. An fun cast of characters, a tongue in cheek sense about itself, plenty of dark humor (including one unintentional one) a wide variety of unique and varied levels that guarantees you never get bored of what comes next. That being said, it's unfortunately another trophy list that ends up highlighting the games' lack of refinements and weak-spots in its attempts to get you to 100% it. Be it small, like a noticeable delay between pressing the jump button and it registering, being magnetized to a grind rail but unable to do anything to increase/decrease your momentum (and yes, both become problems), to the major ones like missable trophies (that are so missable you would DEFINITELY need a guide) and that unholy point of no return/lack of New Game+ combo. Now, I won't say they ruin the game, as there are things present to work around all of these problems, be they codes, or re-triggering cutscenes through a glitch so you get out of that lock-out bubble. So don't let these things deter you. It is definitely a game worth experiencing. So, uhm, YEAH, Psychonauts 2. Let's see how that turns out. #230: Platinium OK< now that some time has passed, I don't hate hate HATE this game, but I reeeaaalllyyyy don't care for it. First off, the gameplay. It's stupid. Like, really stupid. And it's stupid, because winning is 90% reliant on LUCK. No, I'm not kidding. You move in two directions only, left and right. You are tasked with guarding five columns of which the ball can pass, while HOPING your guard will return the ball and slip by the stupid AI defense. There is no defending the entire court, no aiming your shots to an opening. Nope, the direction the ball goes is ENTIRELY out of your hands; the opponent can a have a huge blind spot to his left, and yet thanks the games random ball placement, 9/10 times it will go to where he can easily intercept. it's not tennis. It's air hockey with a kinda tennis aesthetic. You serve, and you guard, that's it. The rest is up to chance. So whats worst than sucky gameplay? A trophy list that demands you 100% it. YYYYYUUUUUUPPPPPP. So, you need to play 50 games online, win 10 championships in a row, 5 of those must be on hard mode, earn 5000 coins (and there is NO good effective way to grind money) for one trophy, then earn 10,000 MORE to buy everything in the store. Yeah, you gotta buy unlockables that you aren't gonna use because you ain't gonna come back this game! Actually, you know what, I hate this game. Popular Post Z-Yux
Platinum #65: God of War This game pretty much took me by surprise. I have heard nothing but great things about this game, so I eventually gave it a shot after buying it on its Anniversary Sale. The story-telling was very good along with the fluent combat and great visuals. As for the trophies, they weren't that difficult for the most part. Valkyries gave a decent challenge, but nothing that was too terribly stressful. Platinum Difficulty: 4/10 Time-To-Platinum: ~30 Hours

Kind of love(d) this game^^ Doing the online stuff wasn't bad at all, especially the freeburn challenges, they were fun? #25: Driveclub Difficulty: 1/10 Enjoyment: 8/10 I really liked this game. Much better than GT Sport actually, which I am still struggling with Not sure yet if I want to 100% this game, maybe some time in the future. Popular Post FluffyAssassin64
#109 - Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor "Master of Mordor" One has walked in Mordor. Here we go, another Batman: Arkham clo... wait. This game is actually super fun! I was very, VERY pleasantly surprised with this game! I've put it off for a long time (meh, I thought), but this is actually one of the most fun games I've played in a while. There are a few retread concepts for sure. Towers that reveal zones? Check. Almost identical combat to Batman: Arkham series (even down to the button mapping of 'combo moves')? Check. However, do not write this game off; it brings a lot to the table! Here are a few things I loved: The Nemesis system. I'd heard a lot about this much-touted gameplay mechanic, and I was actually still surprised at how much I liked it. The drip-feed of new ideas and ways to interact throughout kept it interesting, and I grew surprisingly attached to the orcs I brought from nothing to be Warchiefs... before I betrayed them and blew their head into pieces Seriously, this system is enough to pick up the game, imo. Characters, lore and story. I'm a sucker for Lord of the Rings, and I actually really enjoyed what they brought to the table here. The voice-acting was also surprisingly good (some of those artefact voice-overs were excellent), and the characters were actually interesting and well-acted. The villains were suitably menacing, and both of the main character story-arcs were nice. I did have some issues though... the boss fights against the 'big bad guys' were quite disappointing (a slightly longer combat sequence, a 'what just happened' stealth boss, and a QTE dude), and the story ended abruptly, but the journey was well worth it imo The orcs in general. Much like the baddies in Batman: Arkham, I enjoyed simply being in the same world as these guys. They had funny anecdotes, commented on my escapades, and were just cool. The battle-cries as they run into battle were epic, and I lived the chant for a new Warchief when they entered the fray. In general, bad guys that you still somehow love. Combat. While - again - similar to other games, there was enough here that was unique and interesting that I still had fun. Later-game OP abilities were a blast to use, and I truly felt powerful as both Ranger and Wraith. Sound cues for things like head explosions and executions were amazing too. General sword-striking was a bit 'meh', but otherwise I really enjoyed it. Trophies were pretty easy, and my favourites were those that involved making fun use of the Nemesis system. This system was so interesting in my eyes that I didn't mind the 'grind' (not that bad, honestly) to get some of these to pop. The 'outcast mission' design was baffling (why so many, and so strange to activate?) but otherwise no complaints here. Sure, mission design could use some work, and there were some rough aspects here and there, but this is honestly a game I'd recommend to nearly anyone. You can pick it up for super cheap now anyway, so why not? I'll definitely be picking up Shadow of War now; I'm excited to see where this series goes. Thank goodness they've fixed the microtransaction grind haha. Game rating: 8.5/10 Plat difficulty: 2.5/10
Popular Post sh4d0wzcs
#79 Conan Exiles The game looked bad, the videos of the game looked bad, and so did the reviews.. So I tried this on an alt psn to see how bad and after an hour I just couldn't so I said "fuck it I'll just admin pannel this trash" . #80 Assassins Creed 3 Remastered As soon as I heard the new about a remaster I was extremely hyped, I loved every moment of playing this on the PS3 and was not disappointed with the PS4 release. A few texture issues with snow but that was pretty much the only issue in the game. Fanorana can fuck right off, took me about 4 hours to win one even with online help. I never did the dlc on the PS3 so was iffy on how good it would be and was a little put off that you were forced to do dlc for the platinum but was surprised on how good it actually was.. However I do feel there needed a better opening for how the alternate history started.. like a dream or a mission where you find Washington with the Apple and it causes a hallucination, atleast I feel would've tied the dlc in more naturally. Just my 2c Now off to Days Gone, and then maybe back to Assassins Creed Liberation/Rouge

Popular Post sephiroth4424
#148 Tales of Hearts R Master of Hearts Enjoyment: 8/10 Difficulty: 2/10 ToHR was my fourth "Tales of" game. It has an interesting story and all the classic elements of jrpgs. I must admit that i started to really like the Skits element of these games. At start in ToS, i found it a chore, but there are some really funny dialogues that give variety to the common ''town/open map/dungeon-town/open map.....". Some things i didn't like, were the lack of fast travelling and the absence of sidequests. You get an airship but it's very late in the game. And as for sidequests, apart from the go & fetch ones, it has only a post-game dungeon and an arena. Which is why the game felt short in length. Platinum took 60 hours and two playthroughs. 50 for the first and 10 for the second (skipped all scenes/dialogues) Edited May 3, 2019 by sephiroth4424

Popular Post Hanstarkiller17
Platinum #29 Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Wildlands I finally have this platinum!!! After the most recent patch to this game, I decided to give the glitchy Mission Master trophy another try, and I was finally successful in getting it to unlock! After that it was just a couple quick convoy raids to get the last few skills unlocked, and the platinum was mine! This game as a whole had lovely graphics and a good storyline. Additionally, they are still releasing updates and special missions for this game! I am motivated once again to go and finish the two DLCs for this game, so I have high hopes for those as well. Platinum image: Reveal hidden contents Trust that of them all, 4 will be the hardest to plat, as it's less merciful in S requirements. 2 and 3 allow for players to get S-Rank on the whole arc even if they didn't S-rank each chapter, and doesn't hold health against you as much. 4, on the other hand, requires you to finish every fight at 90% or higher health in order to S-rank, which can be a bitch when fighting Madara, Kaguya, and/or Juubi. I found 3 to be an easy plat on PS3 (the DLC trophies are in base game for PS4), though the fight against Kabutomaru and his group can be hell! Sasuke vs. Itachi is difficult as well, but rest of 3 is ezpz. Can't say for 2, since I still need someone to do the online with lol.

Compared to the ones I played on the PS3, it has a slightly higher difficulty rating. I skipped out on 2 over there, though, so that's uncharted territory for me as well. Collect all the Crash Bandicoot 2: Cortex Strikes Back trophies. I found this was MUCH less frustrating than the first game, mostly due to the addition of the slide-jump and the running boots. It made a world of difference when it came to platforming. There are still enemies/attacks that have very questionable hitboxes which led to some annoyances, but on the whole, I actually found this game to be quite fun. A very big improvement! I'll be moving onto the third game now.

Popular Post Maxximum
#28 Zombie Driver HD Platinum Driver Collect all Trophies. What an amazing action-packed car game. The icing on the cake is without a shadow of a doubt the zombies. Had fun killing and running over them whenever they were on my way or an enormous nuisance during my go. Used different weapons, such as the flamethrower, rail gun, machine gun, rocket launchers, etc. The story mode consists of 31 missions. Great line ahead, mostly about rescuing the residents from the zombie attacks and secondary objectives which are optional; some needed for trophies, alternatively you can go for them as you choose mission select after you beat the game. Only 3 zombie bosses across the story, they are easy to defeat without the guide. Blood Race is another mode., consisting of a total of 36 events, divided into 5 difficulty-related tournaments, namely; Beginners', Rookies', Drivers', Pro Drivers' and lastly Zombie Drivers' (the hardest one). Luckily in the first two tournaments you're allowed to have at least two silver trophies or one bronze trophy. In the last three, you're allowed to have three silver trophies or one silver and one bronze. The races were frustrating. Had many attempts and surprisingly won gold on all in the last tournament. Slaughter mode is another mode. Here you given countless waves of zombies coming at you and all you have to do is kill them and survive. They were pretty easy for me, but the Paradise Island and the City were the hardest, and this made me buy the Apocalypse DLC which has the Auroch, making it easier. I kind of regret wasting about $2.99 (plus additional tax ) on a DLC just for that. Great game, I had lots of fun. Many guides say the super car was the best vehicle in that game, but I had trouble controlling it well, it looked as if it was always hydroplaning every time I navigated it or made it turn. I used the maxed out police car for the final two races in the Zombie Drivers' tournament and won with gold. The super car was only useful in the story, I guess. Next up Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas So excited to revisit Los Santos after so many years, and this time with new additions (trophies). Looking forward to the full display of nostalgia!

I remember when I first started it 3 years ago and I died like twenty times until I reached the first boss and BAM... almost felt like I got a one hit. Glad I picked it up several years later and I fly through the game even first trying the last boss and several optional bonus bosses without guides. All I can say: I hate the dogs (especially YOU Watchdog of the Old Lords). Some normal enemys were even harder than most of the bosses lol. I'd sometimes have to suppress to throw my controller at the screen but nonetheless GREAT GAME!
