Popular Post GarciaFever
@sephiroth4424 I love that image as the platinum screenshot #198 Uncharted 4 I never really got interested in the Uncharted series. So when I got my own PS4, I decided to take my time with this one. Like every other Uncharted game, this one is filled with collectables, which didn't make this platinum any easier. The one thing I didn't like with this game (which should have been implemented in all Uncharted games) is not having the ability to run. I hate how, when Nathan is in the middle of a gun fight, he just leisurely strolls around like an idiot until he gets into cover. If I were getting shot at, I would make like Usain Bolt and run the fuck out of there. To add to this, the climbing mechanic doesn't fully work properly when I transition from one edge of the cliff to the next one, thus making Nathan fall to his death occasionally. All that's left is to complete Survival on Crushing difficulty, of which I do not want to touch with a 10-foot pole. Popular Post MidnightDragon
#51 Goosebumps: The Game I had originally chosen Halloween Forever for my Halloween platinum, but I didn't give myself enough time and it turned out to be harder than I expected, so had to go to plan B. Popular Post NorbR338055
#38 - Disney Classic Games: Aladdin and The Lion King Difficulty: 0/10 Enjoyment: ... well I haven't even played the game yet ? Yeah, not my proudest plat ... used and abused the cheat codes for this one. Oh well. I bought the collection just to play Aladdin, since it's one of the few games I remember playing as a kid. I figured I might as well get the plat out of the way before I get started. Now I can play for real. (Also, cool trophy image, but why is it from The Lion King when almost all of the trophies are from Aladdin?)
ArmoredSnowman
On 10/22/2019 at 8:03 PM, Nighcisama said: ncharted 3 for me was by far the hardest and also the worst of the three Uncharted games in terms of design, I share your gripes with Uncharted 3. I especially hated the djinn (don't get me started on the PAX 80 guy on the ship...), but you could've made the crushing run so much easier for yourself if you had used the tweak glitch to give yourself inf ammo and one-shot kill. You'll still die plenty, but at least djinn only get one life. The hardest part for me was the 75 kills w/o dying, because I'd lose the killstreak over the smallest b.s.

Popular Post Don_carlito94
# 54 You Did Rally GoodUnlock every Trophy in DiRT Rally. 1.84% Amazing sim racer that gives you a great rally experience throughout the whole game. This platinum takes time and practice to achieve especielly if you have little experience with rally/motorsport games. It's a tough plat and the game rewards patience with trial and error giving you that feeling of accomplishment when you see the results. Imo the trophylist is great, because there are no grindy and boring trophies, but alot of them are tough like: winning a championship in each class, winning a championship in masters difficulty, FIA championship and getting in the top tier of some of the online events especially wager events (this is harder than a few years ago= less players online, more pros playing nowadays). The game has definitely opened the door for other rally games for me in the future and I'm looking forward to it. Popular Post Phoenix_argentea
Platinum No. 139! MediEvil Savior of Gallowmere A lot of fun, nostalgia, and a lot of "check-the-differences" between the remake and the PS1 version... And I found a lot of differences, both good and bad... Like the "infinite combo" (while in the PS1 was 1-2-3 hits), the explosive chests (in the first game they were some kind of force fields which pushed away Dan and nothing more, but here they're bombs! And they make damage to Dan! For a similar reason, the charged attack of the hammer has no more the little force field, and I really hated these differences ) or the enemies patterns (some of them are completely different, like some bosses or the Shadow Demons which teleport behind you after a couple of hits). There could be more differences to add, but I'd turn this post into a huge essay, so that's enought! ? Unfortunately, this game has lost the "dark atmosphere" of the ps1 version, maybe there's too much light in some levels, like the Haunted Ruins (I remember they were darker), the Pool of the Ancient Dead, or the Ant Caves (I hated this remake version. In the PS1 it was really dark and the fireflies were useful, and also the musci was creepy. But here... There's light inside the caves, so the fireflies are useless, and the music seems completely wrong with this level. They shpuld have made them dark as the Haunted Ruins dungeon. And also the music of the Pool seems wrong...?). But I was surprised by the trophy related to the weapons collection, since I thought "Wait, there should be one more weapon to acquire in the final level (the good lightning)"... But I discovered it was changed! Strangely, the Italian version has the same voices of the PS1 version! And it's not bad! I really liked it, but we lost the "lalalalala" of the mad woman with the pan in the Sleeping Village. Also some bugs, like a stuck Dan while he was climbing the Cemetery Hill, or when I got stuck by the scarecrows (and they killed me!), and a flying Lord Kardok in the final battle... But nothing more! Probably this remake could have been better, but I'm glad Sir Daniel Fortesque came back on the PS4! And actually I'm not really looking for the remake of the 2nd game, since I didn't like the new setting (London in the 800s). Now the platinum screenshot, I had to replay four more time the Cemetery level, since I wanted a good screenshot! And the final surprise! After you collect the lost souls, you can replay the PS1 version! I add the same place of the PS1 version, just to see the "dark atmosphere" of the PS1 version... Too bad they didn't add an extra trophy for "completing again the original PS1 version!" Edited November 1, 2019 by Phoenix_argentea
Popular Post Hanstarkiller17
Platinum #52 100% #66 LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens Man, LEGO games are so nostalgic for me, especially the Star Wars ones! I remember playing the original LEGO Star Wars on PS2 on the living room floor for hours on end when it first came out. LEGO games have changed A LOT since then, but they still remind me of the good old days. LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens was a pretty good LEGO game that kept me occupied for a good few days. While not as in depth as other LEGO games, such as Marvel Superheroes 2, I was still impressed by the amount of content the game included while only covering the events of one episode. The Starfighter battles for random missions were a little annoying, but mostly because you have to load into a new area to complete them, and then load back into the free-roam area when they are done. Other than that, the side missions were unique enough and fun, and this game at no point became tedious or unenjoyable. I'm looking forward to the next LEGO game in my library now, which will either be LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham or LEGO Marvel's Avengers.
Popular Post Carol
#171 and 100%: Days Gone One Percenter Go above and BEYOND, unlocking every trophy in Days Gone Possibly, people, who haven't played this game yet, are curious about it, just like I was, so I'm going to divide my post in the positive and not so good aspects of "Days Gone". What I liked in "Days Gone": - I really enjoyed the first part of the game, as it was a very grounded, beautiful, interesting and sometimes, even emotional experience. Seeing Deacon's memories with his wife and driving south, while listening to "Soldier's Eyes", by Jack Savoretti, were moments filled with emotion, that I greatly enjoyed; - The weather effects are, possibly, the best I've seen in any game. They are great; even impressive! The snow, in particular, is gorgeous and I'm not even a fan of snow levels in games; - Driving your bike in that vast, varied open-world, seeing what the nature has for you in each place you visit, is very relaxing and enjoyable! - Fighting the hordes is very exciting, tense and challenging! - The challenges were, for me, the best part of the game and the reason why I'm proud of this 100%. They are incredibly fun and addictive! Unless you're very skilled, getting gold in the majority of them isn't that easy. I had a blast working on the gold scores and I particularly enjoyed the horde challenges! What I thought wasn't that good in "Days Gone": - I think the game is too long and too easy for its own good. By the second half, it starts to drag a lot and it starts to be obvious whether Deacon's wife is alive or dead, so I just started to feel a little bored and not as interested in the story; - This game has, unfortunately, very lame boss fights; - The gameplay is very average and the weapon wheel is shockingly unresponsive. This is especially bad when you have lots of enemies following and you want to select one item and end up with another one instead. For example, you want to select an attractor and you end up with a rock... Very annoying! - Although fighting the hordes is the best part of the game, gameplay-wise, you barely do that during the campaign. You will spend most of your time saving people, clearing camps and doing errands, which, for me, was kinda disappointing and frustrating. - This isn't just a problem of "Days Gone", but more a recent trend. Why add a New Game Plus, with trophies, to an open-world game like this, when it's incredibly easy to become fully upgraded in the post-game? My survival II playthrough was basically an overpowered Deacon, with an overpowered bike rushing through the game, while skipping all cutscenes. I really don't see a point of this. Conclusion: I think the critics were right about "Days Gone". While it's far from being a bad game, there aren't that many things that this game does in a truly great way, so I think a 7/10 is fair for what ended up being quite an average experience, overall. Popular Post Undead Wolf
#290 - Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty (Vita) Extremely Solid Collect all trophies #291 - Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater (Vita) Snake Eaten Collect all trophies So I did 90% of the work for these platinums on the PS3 versions. Once I transferred my saves over to Vita, I only had to do some cleanup (Boss Survival, beating the game without being detected, etc). Because of that, I'm not going to go in-depth on my I love these games because I already did that when I originally got the plats. I do want to say that I was actually very impressed with how these Vita ports played, though. They look pretty much identical to the PS3 remasters (the small screen helps I'm sure). The controls weren't anywhere near as awkward as I was expecting them to be either with the touchscreen actually working quite well to select weapons/items. I think it's awesome that some of my favourite games work so well on my favourite handheld.
Popular Post madbuk
#342 - MediEvil I have never played MediEvil before, and going into this I was a little concerned about the combat because it looked very imprecise and janky, but now having played it, the combat wasn't exactly great but it was serviceable, and I really enjoyed the rest of the game. Exploring the levels for items to progress was enjoyable, the platforming was pretty basic but it worked well, and I wasn't really expecting the game to have as many puzzles as it did (which was a welcome surprise, even if they were all a bit too easy.) All the reviewers complaining it hasn't aged well, I don't agree with. It has aged perfectly fine, sure the combat isn't exactly spectacular but it works, and that's all I wanted from it. The story leaves me questioning how they managed to write a sequel to this, since I felt it ended rather well as a standalone experience. I'd love to see a MediEvil 2 remake like this one, because I hear 2 is even better. If they go on sale I may just pick up the originals for my Vita though instead of waiting. The game was a little short but most PS1 games were to be fair, so I can't hold that against it too much. At least Sony didn't try charging full price for it because, as great as it was, I don't think it really would've justified a full £50/$60.
Popular Post Bumperklever
#103 Borderlands 2 (PS3) Borderland Defender Round Two Date Achieved: 1 November 2019Rarity: Very Rare (6-7%)Enjoyment: 9/10 Came back after a monstrious 7 years (I got this game since release) to finish the plat; With my new pack of legendary VIP weapons and optimal farmspots and glitches, I breezed through it. But I do say that it feels a bit outdated, but that could be due to BL3 existing. Borderlands 2 was revolutionary upgrade of borderlands 1. Borderlands 2 was pique of story and humor / jokes in the borderlands franchise. And with above (and more) I would say that this is the best itteration of a franchise I love. The only beef that I have with it, is that it can be really damn laggy in the PS3 version.

Popular Post Redgrave
#159: Raccoon City Native - Resident Evil 2 I got this around release but put it on hiatus after getting the two endings so once October rolled around I figured it would have been a good Halloween sort of Platinum to get. Not sure what else can be said about it that already hasn't been said. Capcom did really well with it and it's nice to see them make such a big turnaround between this and Devil May Cry 5 so here's hoping they can keep that up. It certainly did the horror really well since I don't think I'll ever not tense up hearing Mr. X stomping around or hearing a Licker about to attack I can't even begin to imagine how Nemesis would be if they decided to do RE3 Remake. Popular Post ShonenCat
Platinum #41 - Persona 4: Dancing All Night Difficulty Rating 4/10 Enjoyment Rating 7/10 Uncommon - 38.37% My enjoyment with the Persona 4 universe continues right after playing P4G and jumping straight into it’s rhythm game known as Dancing All Night. An enjoyable side story that follows Yu Nurakami and his friends expressing their feelings through the art of dance as they form more bonds with those around them. A fairly easy platinum that doesn’t need much explaining. The hardest trophy for most people will be the one that requires getting a KING CRAZY rank on one song. You probably guessed it, but yep, you gotta clear the song perfectly. Full combo and all that. Thankfully you can choose any song on any difficulty to do it. You can even slow down the speed of the song if you have to. If I am able to achieve KING CRAZY on most songs playing on normal, then more casual players should be able to find a way doing it on easy with a song of their choosing. There are even handicap items you can buy in the store where you can cheese most of the game’s challenges. I never used them and I’m not sure if they’d get you a KING CRAZY rank on any song, but it’s something to keep in mind if you wanna blaze through the game. That’s pretty much all there is to say on Dancing All Night and it’s trophies. A couple weeks ago when I posted about my P4G experience, I may of sounded somewhat modest about it. But now that time has passed, the feeling has seeped into my soul. I now realize that Persona 4 as a whole will go down as one of the most important experiences in my gaming life. It was the right game at the right time. As silly as it sounds, playing through mainline Shin Megami Tensei games helped me question things like religion, faith and what true evil could possibly be.. but now that I have played through Persona 4, it’s helped me learn a little more about myself. I’m certain that was it’s intention all along. To help rediscover one’s true self and be able to accept it head on by embracing all the good and bad that makes the person you are. While playing Persona 4 during those 3 weeks, it felt like any other normal turn based RPG at first, but little did I know that it was slowly changing me little by little with each passing hour. By the time it was all over, it shaped me into a more stronger version of the same person I am now. At long last, I have found my resolve. Persona 4 and it’s universe are a great treasure to me, and there is no better place to lock that treasure than inside my heart ❤️ Persona is a SMT sub-series I can learn to love very much if not equal to that of mainline SMT ^^ Edited November 2, 2019 by ShonenCat

Popular Post ArmoredSnowman
My last four plats are Black Ops 4, Uncharted 2 Remastered, Uncharted 3 Remastered, and Uncharted 4. Lost Legacy will be my newest one (later this weekend!) Well, what can I say... Black Ops 4 -- yeah fuck the blackout mode. I'm glad multiplayer is back to being boots-on-ground, after BO3's shitty mp. Still nowhere as good as Black Ops 2 though. The zombies trophies were pretty easy (especially if you did the custom mutations glitch for the VoD easter egg). Overall, the zombies is what makes me continue going through the 3arc Call of Duty games. I've done every 3arc zombies easter egg from Black Ops 1 to Black Ops 4 (and will continue with Black Ops 5)! If I had to rank the easter eggs in BO4 by difficulty (easiest to difficult, discounting Classified, cuz fuck that), then it'd probably be Tag der Toten -> Alpha Omega -> Blood of the Dead -> Dead of the Night -> Ancient Evil -> IX -> Voyage of the Dead. Now, if you have certain elixirs, like undeadman walking and have a zombie watcher, then these ees are a fucking cake walk. Never understood why people have such issues with zombies trophies. They're much easier to do than multiplayer. My favorite maps are Tag (ironic, considering i fucking hate Call of the Dead), BotD, and AO. Least favorite? VoD. I will be going for the Black Ops 3 plat eventually. If I manage to get around to BO1/BO2, I might try out W@W, just to have the complete collection (doubt I'll do BO Declassified, but who knows). That said, Black Ops 3's zombies > Black Ops 4 any day. Black Ops 2 has the best mp experience, and Black Ops 1 has the best campaign. Uncharted 2...hmm, I left the game incomplete for so long, but all I really had left was collectibles, and finishing my crushing run. The boss fight's pretty decent, no QTE. Fuck the guardians though (at least crossbows are one-hit). Still can't decide what was more annoying, UC2's Guardians or UC3'S djinns. I did use the tweak glitch for crushing (meant having to three runs in total, but w/e...), cuz I wanted to get through the run as fast as possible. I don't remember correctly, but I think one-hit didnt work on the guardians. One thing: Fuck the train sections of the game. Uncharted 3...I had tons of collectibles left, the pax 80 kill trophy, water-related trophies...and holy fuck, the b.s. 75 kills w/o dying trophy... Y'know, it wasn't the enemies that ended my killstreak much of the time, but rather a missed jump, or the waves auto-killing you. I'm just gonna say it, fuck the ship sections, fuck the djinn, and hell, fuck the game itself. It had some redeeming qualities, such as Elena (and no injured cameraman), Sully, but the desert chapter was awful. And it was a pain doing QTE on crushing (because no buttons show up). The boss fight was a long-ass QTE fest...Sadly I had to do two runs within 1 day of each other, since I had a couple chapters of hard to do, then had to do the whole story on crushing using tweaks. Whoever is able to do brutal on these games without tweaks...you guys are fucking legends. In my opinion, Uncharted 1 > Uncharted 2 > Uncharted 3. I will return to do the speedrun/brutal trophies some day... Uncharted 4... literally had only two collectibles left after all this time. One journal note, one journal entry... The open-world setting made them a pain to get done, so I put them on hold until now. I used the save exploit to get crushing/speedrun/accuracy done in only about 15 minutes. Don't get me wrong, crushing would be easy with that one-hit gun, but saving time is saving time. That said, I loved the story. Sam was great. Got some Elena action. Best of all, you have grappeling and wall picks (that thing they use to stick to walls), which is a nice reference to Tomb Raider (since the trilogy had those). Seriously, I fucking love grappeling around in UC4/UCLL!! You can jump people, you have more characterization, etc. I hated the dolphin trophy. Took forever to get all three to come up. Now, this game is different from the trilogy, because much of the chapters are set in an open-world setting, and not really linear, making it a hassle to get around. Coop survival was interesting, though I wish you could do coop on the story -- like damn, a coop Uncharted campaign? That'd be sick!! Okay, the Crash Bandicoot game...I sucked at that, but aye, slow-mode makes it easier. Beating boss fight w/o dying? Use slow mo. I loved the epilogue though. I really hope we see more from the Drake family when PS5 comes out, whether it's Sam, or Nate's daughter! That said, i will be platting Lost Legacy soon (only have two trophies left...getting to chapter 5 melee-only, and driving from chapter 5 temple to trident tower. Regardless, my thoughts on the game is this: grappeling is still fun. The characters are fun, though Sam comes way late into the story. Some puzzles i had to look up videos for. Inf ammo + Desert 5 makes crushing a cake walk (because it's one-shot kill!, 3-shots for armored). The helicopter fight on chapter 8 was a bitch, because you can't give yourself RPG for some reason. Ultimately, you have to get to the lockbox on the right side of map where armored guy is, then shoot at the helicopter with it three times, while constantly diving into the water -- otherwise it'll start you from the beginning of the encounter, if you die. When you go to grappel the heli...it's unnerving, because you feel you're going to die. There's one section on chapter 3 that if you miss the photo opportunity, you have to start the whole chapter over, because checkpoint starts you after that point...pissed me off. Chapter 4 is such a huge map, it was a hassle to get around!! Wish you could command Nadeen to bring the vehicle over, instead of having to run back to it. Still don't know why the game doesn't start you with the ruby bracelet if you did it during the previous playthrough. 15 stealth kills in a row? Heli encounter, but still took me many attempts. QTE fights? Slow mo. The last chapter was interesting, but one-shot kill made life easier. I liked the game well enough, just not the open-world stuff. I'm a fan of the linear levels seen in the trilogy, but ah well. Again, I wouldn't mind seeing a Nadeen/Chloe adventure again. I will eventually go for the UC1 -UC3 plats on PS3. Dunno about Golden Abyss.
Popular Post TazDevilz1986
Life Is Strange (PS3) # 399 What If? Unlock all other trophies from Life Is Strange™ For some reason the platinum image for Life Is Strange was blank on PSNProfiles. So i wanted to take a picture of it when i got the plat. It was one of the games on PS3 that was on the backlog for a while. I stacked it for the second time. I earned 2 collectible trophies back in 2018, and moved on from it. But now it was a good time to clean it up again. It was nice to play this again for the second time, but i didn't know what game i wanted to do before my 400 milestone. So this was a easier choice for me. My 400th platinum is going to be Helldivers on the PS4. I have been rubber banding offline against the bugs with my car circle around on the capture the flag position for a few days now. Right now i am around at 79k. So i have 21k left to get my final trophy. I have been doing rubberband sessions while i was sleeping or playing on PS3. So the grind will be luckily not effected in any way. Shame that i went online in Helldivers since the planets did change, and there is no bugs planets available atm. So i most wait now until the right planets are available to do this rubber banding again.

Looked up a Youtube video of it and thought "that looks kind of cool" and picked it up and am so happy I did. This game is a great old-school turned based RPG game and if Dragon Fantasy 1 and 2 are NES/SNES RPGS this is a PS1 RPG. I loved everything about this game (minus the small inconvenience of getting gold in the second tournament) and if you would like to see RPGs go back to a simpler time then definitely check this out. Fun characters, good combat, great music...a must play Also that means just 3 more letters left til I Plat Rain the Alphabet.
