Popular Post DamagingRob
#519- Atelier Ryza: Ever Darkness and the Secret Hideout Atelier RyzaEarn all trophies Second attempt to get into this series went far better. Unlike the other game that I dropped for years.. Sorry, Totori. Mostly an enjoyable game, though I think I need to balance things better in the sequel. Lol. After beating it, I had so much left to do still. Spent 3 days making items, doing sidequests, etc. Felt like a pretty lengthy and tedious grind, at that point. But it's done, and I can move on to the next game. Platinum image: Spoiler Finished everything before getting to Level 50, leading to an amazing screenshot. ? Popular Post Deadly_Ha_Ha
#45 - Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Difficulty - 4/10 Enjoyment - 7/10 I was looking through my library and remembered I even had this game, and that it has a simple 100%. No multiplayer trophies, no intel collectibles, and the game has the easiest Veteran difficulty of any CoD game I've ever played, and probably the easiest the series has ever known. But man is it fun. The campaign in this reboot does some different things and while I didn't really care about the story this time around, the game itself and its variety of missions and game feel, it was so refreshing for CoD. The only dlc trophy is for beating four specific Spec Ops missions. I would say all the challenge in the 100% is in those missions, mostly in the final two. I got three friends in on the effort and we had a great time playing Spec Ops. The MP is a generation out at this point so it's hard to break back in, but when this game released in 2019 I played a lot of the online and thought it was pretty good. Next CoD game I can anticipate going back for will probably be MW3.

Popular Post DPthe32man
#65 Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Blacklist My first Splinter Cell game was conviction and I enjoyed it even though I didin´t finished it. I somehow bought blacklist 6 years ago, without expecting nothing like conviction, because I wasn´t too much a fan of the series in general. Suddenly I got an urge to go back to this game to replay it and finish it 100% and it didin´t disappoint, why didin´t I finished this earlier? Not a masterpiece, but was nonetheless super enjoyable. Im a new fan of Sam Fisher, I also liked the crew of the Paladin and how I managed to select the missions from there. I know the classic games are not like the modern ones, I´m not sure If I will ever play them, but now I wish that Ubisoft gives Splinter Cell the sequel it deserves, highly doubt it, but who knows? Popular Post Undead Wolf
#360 - Soul Sacrifice Epic Tale of Sorcerers Acquired all trophies. Some background first. I bought Soul Sacrifice Delta back when it first came out in 2014, but for one reason or another, I didn't really click with me at the time. I didn't get very far into it and I ended up putting the game on indefinite hiatus. Well, in the years since then, I've gotten much better acquainted with the monster hunting genre I consider SS to be part of, and when I completed Freedom Wars recently, I got the sudden urge to remedy this blind spot I have in the Vita library and finally come back to Soul Sacrifice. I decided to play the vanilla version first since it's a bet less overwhelming than Delta and you're able to transfer your save over when you're done anyway. So onto the game itself. I found that the setting and storytelling in general was really gripping. The world of Soul Sacrifice is incredibly bleak and you learn about more about how things came to be the way they are by reading through the pages of this talking book. I was surprised to see just how heart wrenching some of the chapters are in this game, especially when it came to the ending. The superb voice acting, music, and art/animations on the pages really help sell it too. The gameplay has a unique spin to it as well compared with its piers. Instead of equipping weapons, you having what are called "offerings". You can equip up to 6 of them at a time and they can do a wide variety of things such as create a melee weapon, fire an explosive projectile, summon a golem, etc. Thing is, each offering only has a certain amount of uses, and the only way to restore these uses is by using the sacrifice mechanic or by finding specific points around the level that give you some. So when it comes to fighting the large monsters (called Archfiends in this game), taking out the smaller enemies and sacrificing them is a necessary part of achieving your victory overall. It's a really fun gameplay loop. As for the platinum trophy, most of the difficulty comes from completing the high level missions. There were definitely a few that gave me some trouble, especially since I did them solo, but nothing felt truly insurmountable so long as you sufficiently prepare for them. I could have made it easier on myself by farming for some of the rare materials to create high level sigils, but it wasn't required. Apart from that, there's some light grinding needed to reach max level, but nothing too crazy. Soul Sacrifice is a very special game and I'm glad to say I finally get what all the praise was about. I'll be tackling Soul Sacrifice Delta soon enough. Looking forward to it!
Popular Post Masamune
Don't You Have Anything Better to Do? Obtain all other Undertale trophies. Difficulty: 3.5/10 Enjoyment: 8/10 Playtime: 5:15:10 (15 hours, 50 minutes, 47 seconds) Screenshot: This was a fun & interesting little RPG, the cool thing about this game is you can get through without killing a single thing, or be a total psycho & wipe out everything. ? I just did a blind playthrough & got a neutral ending though, but I'm tempted to do another now for a pacifist run. Main complaint is that the trophy list is trash, you even get the plat before beating the game (that playtime is just till the plat, not the whole game), it would've been a lot better if there were at least trophies for getting the good/bad endings.
Popular Post its_ArchroniX
#36 Virginia - Virginia 28.6% on Console - 63.31% on PSN I never made decisions. Things always came up and made them for me. Really great indie game though it's a pretty confusing one as well because of the fact there's no dialogue at all. I like the art-style though sometimes it felt like it didn't load up well and stayed poly all the time. Following a guide to find all collectibles makes this is a very easy platinum game. The story is pretty decent. The game starts off pretty well but nearing the end it get's extremely confusing on what's going on and you lose track. I had to look up and let let someone explain to me what actually happened in the end. Not the best indie game I've ever played but surely one that's worth your time if you like a nice relaxing game. I was not hunting trophies back then. Just tried the game didn’t like it much so just left it with 1 trophy earned. As I want my completion percentage to raise I am going back to unfinished games and this is one of them. I wasn’t expected it to be that easy. It took me almost one day without the “Drive 300 Mile” grind but that can be done AFK anyways. Overall I can say that I kinda enjoyed the game but still happy that didn’t take me long to plat. 1 more backlog game completed. ✅

Popular Post Vrisnem
True Warrior of the 3 Kingdoms Dynasty Warriors 8: Xtreme Legends This has been my lockdown game of choice. I am so happy to be done with this grind - and just 2 days before I hit 1 year, too! I started Dynasty Warriors 8: Xtreme Legends June 7 2020, after importing my save file from Dynasty Warriors 8 (in-game feature). It took 107hrs, not counting the 100hrs+ I wracked up on DW8 between September 2018 - June 2020. Surprisingly, even after a 200hr+ slog through the same maps and listening to the same dialogue endlessly I have not come out the other side hating it. In fact I'm probably more obsessed with the characters and that era of history than ever before. Although I will confess to immediately deleting the game off my PS5 as soon as I had confirmed that the trophy data had logged. ?

Popular Post eigen-space
Platinum #145 - Yesterday Origins 31.64% Rarity Difficulty - 2/10, Time Spent - ~8 Hours , Enjoyment 4/10 Yesterday Origins is about a man named John who was given the powers of immortality. Every time he dies, he is reverted to the age and condition he was when he was given these powers, except he loses his memories. This game takes you on the journey of him trying to remember his past. This is a pretty basic point-and-click game where you do some minimal thought puzzle solving when trying to combine items and list the reasons for taking certain actions. Nothing super innovative as far as point-and-clicks go. It does get rather annoying, though, because the triggers to highlight something as a hotspot are a bit buggy, and sometimes the hotspot doesn't even show up; I had to reload checkpoints to get some of them to work, which was annoying. The only cool thing that it did was use the speaker on the dualshock controller to emit some sound effects through its speaker; I've only seen that done in one other game. The trophies in this game are at odds with each other. There is a trophy for watching all cutscenes along with several trophies for interacting with every single item that's available to you in your given scene... and then there's a trophy for speedrunning the game in less than 4 hours. Unless you just spam the X button and don't read anything, there's almost no way you're going to get the speedrun trophy along with all the others, necessitating a playthrough simply for the speed run. I'm guessing my first playthrough was around 6 hours, and I did it as fast as I could while still trying to get most of the story. The speedrun took about 2 hours on top of that. I'd say that unless you've run out of games to play or are looking for something that's under 10 hours, probably avoid this one. The story was ok, but there's nothing too stellar about this game.
Popular Post RedRodriguez87
#339: The Fifth Emperor of the Sea Gotta say, that wasn't too bad. Pretty fun in most parts, as a matter of fact. It's a Musou game, so plenty of repetition involved, but nowhere near as bad as prior entries. Like DW9, every new addition I favored, and many of them address past problems I had with prior games. Battlefield stages now feel unique and like they come straight out of the OP world, and story events hardly if ever break up the action. All the characters still feel semi-unique, but at least now have basic combos that never go too over-the-top; they are solid and standard, which means its up to you to liven things up with your specials, which I appreciate more over basic preset moves that fling you all over the stage and ruin your combos. As you can tell by the rarity rate, the trophy list is the easiest I think in any Musou game; I daresay even TOO easy. And this made me realize, its not the large number of things to accomplish for trophies that I hate with these games; it's the tedious hoops you have to jump through to do it (specific characters, specific stages, specific loadouts, which is a pain because of the past games where randomized and luck of the draw in these areas). Here, everything is streamlined; Need to unlock characters? Just play the game any way you want! Need to level up your crew? Just have them as your allies. Need to grind a lot of money? Just get S ranks. Need to level up your character stats? Just get some money and easy-to-aquire perks that increase your rewards, AND you can use anybody to do so! So it sucks that none of what I mentioned have trophies attached to them; it would've been pretty fun to earn them. And you know, I just realized the appeal of One Piece's character designs; they look like Rankin-Bass inspired creations. Just look at Big Mom, Prometheus and Zeus and tell me they couldn't be related to the Miser Bros in some way.

While i was in the end game of first run, and all i had left were episodes i found out this great Overlay / Translation that was made by Zero Field Team - Link - So i used that to get better understanding of what's going on in Episodes, and some other content. On 2nd run i used it all the time throughout my journey. 1st Run = Hard difficulty 2nd Run was on THE hardest, no not Nightmare. It was the new Abyss difficulty and on that run enemies do kill you in 1-2 hits usually, even normal mobs. If you don't use brave orders that decreased DMG dealt ( ty Millium you're the best ;p ) + 100 Levels increase, so in a way it's similiar to how i played Ys VIII / Tokyo Xanadu on 2nd runs. This game felt like a culmination of all the previous titles, notably 3rd Sky ( TRC / Garden / Episodes / minigames / Quiz - oh god, no cheese here with pausing unlike Vita ) It was also great to see some of the characters that were in Ao/Zero like Garcia/Dieter/Zeit/Ilya in HD models Oh and speaking of Episodes, there was a buildup towards Calvard, i'm super excited to see those characters ( Kuro no Kiseki is releasing in 30th of September if it doesn't get delayed that is ) Dunno what else to write about, overall, like usual, i do like Kiseki games so there's no disliking this particular title and can't wait what will Calvard saga will bring. Popular Post Phoenix_argentea
Platinum trophy No. 221! 深夜廻 夜、深く And a double platinum also for the sequel of Yomawari, Midnight Shadows. The second game is a great improvment from the first one, especially for the lenght of the story and for the exploration of the towns (now they're two, since in the postgame you can access the town of the first game!). New monsters, new bosses, new areas (and my favourite is the haunted house. This chapter is amazing!), but is also crueller and more horror compared from the first game (seriously, I didn't remember some frightening scenes). Also, more collectibles (and you need a guide once you decide to look for all of them , especially for those hidden in the labyrinth of the sewers) and no annying trophies like The long night of the first game (so you don't need to leave your PS Vita for 50 hours! ). What else? I really hope for a 3rd episode of this hidden series! And, like the first game, platinum trophy with cats!

Omelette Paradise
#478 & #479 - Himno (Vita & PS4) This was a really nice, calm and relaxing platformer game that sees the player navigate vertical levels to make further into different districts of the game with wisps that light the way in the darkness. That's about as far as it goes really and how much a player gets out of it depends on how long it keeps them interested as it can be limited. A bit of a story and maybe some additional gameplay elements wouldn't have gone amiss. PS4 was a lot easier as I was able to crank up the brightness on my TV whilst the brightest setting on my Vita didn't quite cut it. Popular Post madbuk
#419 - Tales of Zestiria This is without a doubt the worst Tales game I have played to completion. Not only is it rather poorly balanced (I ended up having to fight the final boss when he was over 60 levels higher than me... and I had been fighting every mob), it's also just not very interesting. None of the characters stand out as being memorable, the plot feels barebones, and every environment looks pretty much the same. A part of me wishes I hadn't played Berseria already so many years ago, because that one seems to add a lot to this retroactively, but I can only vaguely remember the big connections so that's a bit lost on me. The plat experience was pretty miserable too - I spent 2 days just running around in circles praying to RNG for my snack trophy to pop, and then there's a bunch of other RNG stuff to do as well. It's easy, it's just a complete slog. This game also features one of the things I hate most about certain JRPGs - if you die, you reload a save. There are some exceptions - most story bosses let you retry, but if you die to a mob or an optional boss, have fun losing potentially hours of progress. It feels so archaic and outdated, shocking that such a thing was still considered okay for a late-gen PS3 game when as far back as PS1 (maybe even earlier) games had autosaving. It's literally just a waste of the player's time for no reason. Some games can do it well - Shadow of the Tomb Raider, for example, which has an emphasis on traps and puzzles. The reload save aspect of that helps add to the tension and danger of it all - but Zestiria isn't like that at all. In Zestiria it's just tedious. I am very happy to be done with this but god I hope that Arise is actually good. I need a good Tales game to cleanse me after this one.
