Popular Post Sylvanticore
Holy shit it's been a long time since I posted in this thread, since then I have gotten myself 9 platinums... time to post them all it seems! SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle for Bikini Bottom : Neptune's Spatula Get all the other trophies for this game. Date: 14th Jan 2022 I brought Spongebob in one of the sales that happened around the middle of 2021 as I wanted to play some collectathon games, I wasn't a fan of Spongebob (Still not really) but I had heard good things about the game, I played it for a bit but then dropped it as around June I suffered extreme pains that still happen today so I didn't do too much gaming back then, finished it in January of this year and can honestly say that I enjoyed the game. Trigger Witch PS5 : Trigger Witch Unlocked all other Relics! Date: 22nd Jan 2022 Oh man, this game, this was something I truely was not expecting, I knew it was a twinstick zelda like game but I did not expect just how fun it was going to be, I got the PS4 version a few weeks after it was originally released and the day the PS5 version was released I was all over it, I dropped whatever game I was playing and downloaded this. I loved the game so much I am the first person to Platinum the game on this site! Might not be the fastest but I'm happy to be the first, if you're reading this and like zelda games and want a fun l,ittle experience then give Trigger Witch a shot!... ha ha Murdered: Soul Suspect : Moving On Collected every trophy in the game Date: 19th Feb 2022 I won't lie to you, I don't have a lot to say about this game, I didn't play it when it first came out and only got it cause it was extremely cheap in the sale as a friend of mine told me to try it, I gave it a shot and despite the story being interesting, the game play wasn't. If you're looking for a short game you can do in less than a few hours for some easy trophies during a sale then go ahead, otherwise as the trophy says... moving on. Cat Quest 2 : Pawlatinum You are pawsome! Date: 23rd Feb 2022 Like all the games in this list, I should NOT have taken as long as I did to finish this, the only reason I took so long was because I started it up not long as finishing the first and wanted to play something else, this along with the first game is a ton of fun filled with cat and dog related puns, a fun little story and the PAWmise of a sequel which I am looking forward to, if you can get both Cat Quest 1 and 2 for cheap then do yourself a favor and give them a go! SEGA Mega Drive & Genesis Classics : Retro God Unlocked all trophies Date: 24th Feb 2022 When I was a young panda I use to play on a Sega Mega Drive all weekend, Sonic 3 and Knuckles were my jam back in the day, still know where all the giant rings are in the first 2 zones, however this collection challenged me because I was never good at the rpg games like Shining Force which is why this collection took me so long to finish, am so glad it's done though though I still wish this collection had some Konami games.. I miss Rocket Knight Adventures Thief Simulator : Master Thief Unlock all trophies. Date: 1st Mar 2022 This game took me too long to Platinum, not because it was hard to complete but because of a game breaking bug that stopped the Platinum being obtainable, for the price I paid it was a fun little time, breaking into people's houses, learning the times they would be out of the house, stealing games, nabbing paintings, cheesing the police AI, breaking into more houses... if it's in a sale then I would say grab it, otherwise just watch a youtube playlist. A Hat in Time : Small child, big trophy Collected all the trophies Date: 18th Mar 2022 Another collectathon game I brought around the same time as Spongebob, however this was one I had known about for a very long time and wanted to play for myself after watching a few videos on it, like with Spongebob though I stopped playing when the pains got too bad to really play many of the games I wanted to so put it on the backburner along with many other games, now that I have finished everything but death wish I really hope that the hat kid gets a sequel or something else from the devs, I enjoyed this a lot! Darksiders Warmastered : BFA Unlocked EVERYTHING! Date: 1st Apr 2022 Almost done now... Darksiders.. a game I played originally when it was first released back on the PS3 and Xbox360, came out the same day as Bayonetta which me and my friend would agrue over which was the better game in both our eyes, back then I would say this was better but after playing them both I can say Bayonetta was more fun, as proved with this game as it took me 5 different times over the past few years to finally get the platinum. I still love the game and will play it again next year but unlike over games I didn't have fun with the collectables. Think my biggest takeaway from this playthrough I last did was how once you have the unlockable armour you can pretty much get away with using your basic combo to kill anything, still am looking forward to finishing Darksiders 2 now. Among Us PS4 : AMONG THE GREATS Win all trophies Date: 10th Apr 2022 And now onto the final Platinum I have to announce. I'm sure many of you know about Among Us so I won't take up too much time, I got it the day it came out on Playstation, it was fun at first but I've been playing it on and off lately since the games haven't been that fun with random people just voting anyone and everyone for no reason so I ended up using the freeplay glitch to finish the platinum off.
Popular Post JoaLoft
#281 - Ghostwire: Tokyo Finally, I can add Ghostwire: Tokyo to my list of completed games and platinum trophies. The game isn't that long, but the trophy list lengthened the adventure considerably. More on that below. One night, a deadly fog spreads in the Shibuya district of Tokyo, creating a mass vanishing where most inhabitants disappear. Except for Akito, who fuses with the soul of the recently deceased detective KK, effectively shielding him from the fog. He's the only innocent human being left in the district, where everyone's soul has been snatched by the malicious Hannya, a mysterious man responsible for the paranormal event. It's up to Akito and KK to chase after Hannya, defeating the evil specters along the way and restoring everything. The atmosphere in Tokyo is spot-on. Small heaps of clothes and bags are scattered around everywhere, cars litter the streets, having come to a complete halt and the lights and speakers of all the shops are still working. It all creates an eerie vibe where you can sense that something terrible has happened. It all looks abandoned, but never feels empty. Gameplay is unique, but could be more fleshed out. As you defeat Visitors - the paranormal enemies roaming the streets - conventional weapons prove to be useless. Instead, you rely on a spiritual form of martial arts called "Ethereal Weaving" where you use elements of nature (fire, wind, and water) to lower their resistance until you expose their existential core. That's when you throw an ethereal thread around their core and purge them from the world of the living. It all looks cool and the different attacks feel distinctive, but it still feels too superficial in the long run. There's a solid foundation for a more fleshed-out combat system later in a potential sequel, no doubt. One of this game's hallmarks is the tribute it pays to Japanese mythology. You'll be absorbing lost souls with katashiro and turning those in at public phone booths for XP and money, cleansing torii gates to dispel the deadly fog and open up new areas, buying supplies from nekomata (mythical cat), feeding akitas so they can lead you to extra cash, drawing omikuji, praying to Jizo statues for extra strength, giving donations to temples for more assistance in your quests and encountering a lot of friendly yokai (spirits) besides the evil entities that attempt to thwart your efforts. This homage to Oriental culture carries a lot of the game's weight on its shoulders, and without it, Ghostwire: Tokyo would not have captivated me as much as it has. The side quests, given by the souls of the citizens who suddenly disappeared, vary from boring to intriguing. One particular questline focuses on a small boy who constantly wants to play hide-and-seek. Not exactly original, and it feels drawn-out. Only for you to tell him in the end: "stop bothering other souls and pass on into the afterlife already, god damn it". I'll take other quests any time of the day instead, such as a really cool one where you take a ghost train which leads you to a non-existent train stop where innocent souls are being kept captive by a malignant entity. Or the one about the cursed construction site. Those feel more eerie, at least. They're hit-or-miss: sometimes they provide nothing, other times they provide a (really) spooky and awesome experience. Ghostwire: Tokyo is worth more than the sum of its parts. Its combat is neat and looks cool, but could use more depth. Its story offers incentive to keep going, but it's over too soon. And the quality of the side missions varies. Yet, when all those gameplay elements click, the entire experience makes sense. There are definitely parts which need improving, but as a whole, Ghostwire: Tokyo's soul is intact. Most frustrating trophy - Don't Worry About It As opposed to the game, the trophy list is far from a joy to complete. One of the more ludicrous trophies is called "Don't Worry About It", and requires you to pull a "Daikyo" omikuji. These are buffs/debuffs which are essentially a luck of the draw. You can pull these at certain shrines, and usually they bestow helpful buffs on you, but a few can work against you and provide a nasty debuff. One of these, with a very rare draw percentage, is the "Daikyo" one, which reduces your HP to 1. It can take dozens of tries to draw this specific omikuji. And why on Earth would you want to draw the worst one for a trophy? It's one of those trophies where devs are stubbornly pushing certain gameplay elements onto you, so you'll keep drawing omikuji in between assignments or missions. A lot of trophies rely on you collecting every damn thing. I understand voice logs having some contextual use, but one of the trophies are demanding you free all 240,300 (!) souls in the game. Admittedly, you'll collect these in clusters varying from around 100 to around 700, but this is still a tedious chore with no substantial change in the ending or gameplay. Another nonsensical one requires you to collect all types of food and drinks in Tokyo. Pointless, because you are packed with all kinds of food already after ten hours of exploring and you'll carry an abundance of them to keep yourself alive anyway, so there's no actual use to buying/finding those rare ones you may have missed at specific stalls as you explore the district. For God's sake: there are over 120 Relics to find in the entire game as well for a trophy! And guess which purpose they serve in the game? You turn those Relics in at stalls to unlock OTHER collectibles, such as beads and pieces of clothing which also need to be collected for the platinum trophy! What is wrong with you people. There was so much to collect in this game that I grew wary of unlocking this platinum trophy. There is a morbid abundance of collectibles available here, and I must stress that I wasted too much time finding every single voice recorder, cluster of souls, piece of clothing, relic, type of food and drink, Jizo statue, music track, magatama and tanuki. Yes, those are all collectibles you must find. I never want to play this game complete this trophy list ever again.
Popular Post Moridin83
#202 428: Shibuya Scramble This was an experience, for sure. It's a VN using real actors, not animated scenes, and it's really out there. It's hard to even describe without going into serious spoiler territory, but it blends serious story beats and ridiculousness together in a way that works far better than it has any right to, with bad ends from being shot existing right next to a mechanical cat suit causing a black hole? Seriously, I could barely follow what happened in that one.? The character swapping mechanic keeps it mostly fresh, as you can't just blast through a single storyline and burn yourself out on it, but have to keep all the plot threads advancing at a similar speed. First playthough was almost totally blind, except for one point I got stuck, and I'd recommend anyone else do the same. A trophy guide is almost required though for some bad ends and the hidden endings, as you're seriously unlikely to find 2 particular ones by accident. All in all, a lot of fun, and a worthwhile addition to my plat library.

greenzsaber
A Pixel Story This game caught my attention in one of the sales last month, as it was under $2. Really fun game if you like puzzle platformers. Hardest plat I've gotten so far this year, although that's not saying much, as I've played harder games than this. Devs aren't afraid to go all in and challenge the player, requiring a speedrun trophy and full 100% completion, as well as surviving a gauntlet of multiple challenge rooms with limited lives. Overall, I'd rate it around a 6/10 difficulty wise. Definitely recommended for people looking for a challenging platformer.
Popular Post DesmaBR
Platinum #168 Woah! Earn all the other trophies. Golly gee, it is finally done. I picked it up on a sale back in 2020, and just kinda left it there, thinking I would've played it when I was in the mood for a tough game. Then, my nephew came to my house one day on that year and asked if I had this Crash Racing game, and since I had it, I popped it in. Understandably, he thought it was too hard for him, and gave up on the game. Though, while doing this test run, I've ended up unlocking a trophy. Oops. Then I decided to start the game for real, so I go into Adventure mode and start off a new game on Hard. These days I just like to start my games on the hardest difficulty, get that band-aid off, you 'know? ... Let me tell you, the only way you'd get more humbled than starting this game on Hard without knowing anything about it, is by heading to your local dojo and getting your ass handed by children. Hard mode is brutal, the AI knows all of the tricks the game has and it will leave you eating dust. When I first tried it, it was quite shocking. I even tried looking up on the internet what it was I had to do, but I just couldn't figure it out. I just got scared and shelved the game then. I did knew that I just had to learn it, but back when, I was not in the mood to learn this one. ... Then, I decided to go back to it recently. I was playing a game that was really, really slow paced, and I just needed some action in between, so I've returned. And surprise, surprise; I was actually able to win a race on Hard. Took me a while and many tries until I could finally win, but eventually the game just clicks. Once it clicks, it's smooth sailing from there. The platinum is really annoying though, I think I'd rather plat Crash 4 for the third time than do this again. The AI on Hard is definitely ruthless, and will attack you with items at the most inconvenient times possible. So many retries... Thankfully the Time Trials trophy are just Time Trials, you don't have to worry about destroying Time Boxes here. I was not good with hitting those boxes... But at least you only only need Sapphire Relics for that yay. What is not fun is having to do Time Trials 3 times for the Oxide Trials. Even if, on your first run you manage to beat Oxide's Time, sorry bucko, gotta do it three times. Also, fuck Dragon Mines. Fuck that track so hard. Fuck that horrible ass spiral Fuck those cringe ass pillars Fuck those damn minecarts. Fuck Fuck Fuck

After so many years I finally came back to Vice City and conquered it, not my favorite GTA but I found this game such a cool looking game, the 80s esthetic, it's soundtrack, it's story and characters, all of this makes up for a badass game. This was a very easy plat it took me 37 hours to get 100%, but I must admit that this game was quite frustrating considering it is a old game.

Popular Post Jelly Soup
#154 (PS4) & #155 (PS5) - Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales More of the same from the main game. And yes I said main game, this is glorified DLC. Side missions are gimmick, combat takes twice as long and the story just isn't interesting. Same music, same map, same everything except with a whinny Spider-Man. If you really liked the combat from the main game, it's still here, just drawn out.
Popular Post Gommes_
#148 Skater XL Trophy Hunter Skater XL has potential, a lot actually but nothing is being done to improve this game. The core mechanic is awesome and was heavily inspired by Skate. Controlling both feet with the two sticks is a great concept and works really well. Once it clicks it is just fun to skate around the city and try out new lines. Doing this online is even more fun. I like the design of the maps and absolutely dig the soundtrack. It is not your typical Rock/Hip Hop influenced music but something different with bands like Band of Horses and such (I know they had a track in Skate 1 too but still). So the actual gameplay is very fun but suffers from technical hiccups. The frame rate is not consistent, you have screen tearing, freezing sessions and crashes. The menus are slow and the game lacks content. Sure, just skating around is fun but with no tasks it just feels empty. Empty like the cities, since nothing is going on there. I just don’t get that the game is not supported anymore. The last added feature was a spectator mode during online games in February. That’s it. Yes, I get that the studio is new and indie. But so are 505 Games and Motion Twin. And Dead Cells and No Man’s Sky constantly get new content. Skater XL on the other hand still feels like it is in an Alpha state, which is a shame since I really wanted a game I could spend dozens of hours in. How hard can it be to add tasks or missions to a game like that? It can even be done by simple text boxes like in THPS 1+2. Add new boards, money or whatever as rewards and boom, you are done. Expecting everyone who plays this to be high all the time and liking it because of it, is not enough ?. This game feels like a missed opportunity and that is just sad. Especially because the main idea was so incredibly good and well executed. P.S. thanks to the people who found the glitch to get the Around the world trophy in 40 minutes rather than 200 hours. Enjoyment: 9.5/10 Difficulty: 3/10 Completion time: 52 hours / 2 weeks 3 days (PSNP) I played the entire game with a friend and we both earned Tiny Tina's Wonderlands platinum trophy together. It's amazingly fun game to play with a friend like any other Borderlands games. The gameplay is top notch; you're most likely going to like this if you enjoyed Borderlands 3, since the gameplay is very similar.
