Popular Post Lucas
#26 Persona 4 Golden Golden Completed Earn all trophies Persona 4 Golden was the first (J)RPG I ever played. Beforehand I wasn't really sure whether I was going to like the game or not. I still decided to pick it up since I was searching for a new Vita game and Persona 4 Golden was listed everywhere as 'the best game for the system'. The game started off slowly but very good. Persona 4 Golden really takes its time to introduce you to the story, mainly via cutscenes. While the story proceeded, the game became cooler and cooler. It was at around a playtime of 15-20 hours where it really hit me: this game was absolutely epic! During the progression of the story Persona 4 Golden became my favorite game of all time! Everything about Persona 4 Golden was epic: WARNING: ALL OF THE FOLLOWING CONTAIN (HEAVY) PERSONA 4 SPOILERS! The music: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OdB22wQDEEo The characters: The puns (mainly thanks to you, Teddie): Other than that: the battle system worked great, most social links were really cool and absolutely worth to go through and all the extras such as the quests were a fun addition. Persona 4 Golden is an absolute masterpiece and is definitely my favorite game of all time! Indeed Marie, it's done. Persona 4 Golden platted. Difficulty: 6/10 Enjoyment: 10/10, 100/100, favorite game of all time
snakebit10
Platinum #47 Sherlock Holmes' Testament The Testament of Sherlock Holmes Really liked this game. Can't wait for a new Sherlock Holmes game! According to the Wikipedia list of Ps4 games there is one called the Devil's Daughter coming out. I haven't heard an official announcement yet. Popular Post Fozzyabear
Trine Enchanted Edition Pretty easy game other than this stupid Troll guy on hard mode with harcore acticated. He shows up in like 3 or 4 of the levels and is a bit of a bitch to kill. Other than that pretty quick easy and fun platinum over all.
DysectorZA
Really liked this game. Can't wait for a new Sherlock Holmes game! How was this game compared to Crimes & Punishments? Was it exactly the same gameplay wise? Were the graphics the same or worse? I just recently platted Crimes & Punishments on the PS3 and really enjoyed it. And was looking at Testament. Glad to hear they might be working on another title.

Popular Post NetEntity
Whew, I'm finally done with writing and editing this. So, without further ado, the two days delayed writeup about Net's Platinum Rain Day (warning lots of text) # 13: Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havok – Despair’s Last Reward Well-well, this is an interesting one. I wanted to check out the Vita version for a long time, to see all the impoved and extra stuff. I’ve adapted to the new terminology fairly quickly, but... how, in the name of the blazes of hell, could they mess up my favorite Monokuma joke in the game, the one that didn’t even require the translation, is beyond me. I still loved the (original) Monokuma, still enjoyed the trials and executions, but, strangely enough, this time I’ve cared about the fates of the main cast even less than I did two years ago. I calmly watched all of them despair, but didn’t feel any despair of my own. Now, when the Despair’s Last Reward is mine, I’m leaving those who survived to their own devices... # 14: Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair – Hope’s Last Reward ... Only to return mere hours later. Oh, so many new faces here! Not a fan of the tropical settings though... Well, this is certainly better! I’ve actually become somewhat interested in helping these students (except for Komaeda... he may burn together with his beloved hope, little psychotic shit) escape from this island. Too bad that the Monokuma is still around, heh-heh. Got prettty lucky with the presents and Monomi drops too, so this platinum was done pretty guickly. Time to take that Hope’s Last Reward and get off this “tropical paradise”. On the down note, translation felt very rushed. Rushed to the «let’s play «spot the typo»» levels. # 15: Ratchet and Clank – Gadget Master For some strange reason, I never could properly finish this game back on PS2, always burning out near the end. Well, this time I’m not only managed to keep playing, but even completed it and... I can’t say that I liked the first game that much. It’s a good platformer, but that’s about it. Luckily, the series kept getting better with each new installment, which leads to... # 16: Ratchet and Clank 2 – He Went Commando Huh, the same platinum image? That’s... a little dissapointing. Well, more of the same, but better and harder. Grinding some of the weapons was slightly annoying, and oh-god-I’m-so-glad-I’m-done-with-the-dreadful-crystal-mining, but overall I had a blast. Started to actually get interested in the characters, though some parts of the story (like Ratchet blindly not “taking a hint” about *spoiler* for a long time, and isn’t he supposed to be the Last of His Kind?) were somewhat irksome. Well, the third one is going to be even better, right? # 17: Ratchet and Clank 3 – Hero of the Galaxy Hell yeah, it totally is. And this time there even less annoying stuff to worry about.. well, aside from that lengthy expedition into the sewers... and even more weapon grinding... and those Qwark vidcomics... wait, those vidcomics have THAT MANY skill points tied to them? *groan* Uh... who cares! The story is even better this time around, and I’ve got to see Qwark make a fool out of himself numerous times, and... and I’ve got accepted to the Q-Force! Ah, who the hell am I kidding, I hate green (it goes horrible with pale skin, you know), and spandex, and listening to the bumbling idiotic “boss”, and... Well, it’s going to be even better... right? R-right? # 18: Ratchet: Deadlocked – Hero of the Shadow Sector Good news: no more of this plat image! Bad news: Deadlocked decided to try something new and it’s not that great at it. The story is a standard Tournament fare, and I wasn’t pleased with the level structure, as the tiny and short task-based challenges can’t compete with the whole planets from the previous games. Not to mention loads and loads of mostly boring skill points. Also Clank is... *pshh* «Ratchet, when you are ready, you can access...» *screams of extreme annoyance* # 19: The Witch and the Hundred Knight – Grand Finale «Hey Gig! I think I’ve found a girfriend for you! She is just as crazy, bloodthirsty and omnicidal as you are! I bet you’ll get along just fine! No, she is saner than Reyva. Ask something along these lines again and he will “suddenly” decide to side with you early again the next time I visit Prodesto...» Ah, back to the NISaverse. Now Nippon Ichi decided to try their hand in ARPGs and... it turned out pretty nice! “The Witch...” has much more morbid tone than usual NIS offerings, and while it’s stll not dark enough to compete with the glorious Demon Path of the Soul Nomad, it still loads more gloomy than the misadventures of a certain Overlord and co. I can’t really say much about the gameplay right now, but I sure can say a few words about... *reality crash*- 10 minutes later – That’s right, the infamous crash bug. I was lucky enough to encounter it “only” five times, but the constant dread that it can happen at any moment remained by my side always. Way to sully the experience, NISA. I wonder what bugs await me in the Brighter Darkness... # 20: Resonance of Fate – Platinum Trophy The second PS3 game. The first trophy ever. 100+ hours of playtime. Three years of wait. Yeah. This game is special. This platinum is IMPORTANT. Unigue setting. Great storyline. Wonderful music. Harsh difficulty. Flashy gun-fights. Hours wasted on gun customization. And the trio of bounty hunters, strangely similiar to the trio of the Dream Chasers, who have traveled the wilds of the another world, Filgaia, so long ago... I hope I’ll get a chance to come back someday. # 21: Prince of Persia: Sands of Time – Prince of Persia All this started when I’ve asked for Prince of Persia PP. When it finally appeared, I happily took it as a long awaited opportunity to revisit the series. And when Prince took his first steps inside the Maharaja’s palace, I’ve suddenly realized how strongly I’ve missed this world. I’ve tore through the game in one day, following only the old memories. And I would gladly do it again. # 22: Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands – Sand Master Fast forward to the next chronological installment. When the Forgotten Sands first came out, I’ve dismissed it as barely “okay”. It wasn’t the sequel to the 2008 that I’ve so hoped for, the Sands continuity didn’t need new additions to the timeline, and the Ubisoft started to care about AC series loads more by that time. After revisiting it now, however... I think I was a bit harsh. After going into Forgotten Sands soon after beating Sands of Time, with full knowledge that the “gritty-edgy-swearing-and-Godsmask-containing” Warrior Within, I’ve realized just how much I’ve missed traveling with pre-WW, not-yet-jaded, more talkative and upbeat Prince. Yes, the combat is a cakewalk, but the powers are fun. The parkour is simplified, but it’s really satisfying to speedily breeze through the locations. On the side note – PSP version of Forgotten Sands not only is completely different, it’s much harder. How-the-hell-am-I-supposed-to parkour-through-that-levels of harder. Haven’t tried the Wii version yet. Too bad that the light will not last. Edited January 3, 2016 by NetEntity
Popular Post ExHaseo
#104 - Hyperdimension Action Neptunia U I think this is probably the most mediocre game I've ever played. Everything about this game was just ok. Nothing was especially entertaining, but nothing was especially bad either. It was kind of weird. It gave me something to do while watching Yu Yu Hakusho though. Also, I really don't understand why people get so riled up about the Lily Rank grind in this game. It wasn't that bad, and only took a few hours to finish. My best guess, is that no one actually likes this game, but all the HDN fans can't admit it to themselves. So instead, they just pick on a small part of the game. Edited January 3, 2016 by ExHaseo

Here is an announcement. http://www.christianpost.com/news/sherlock-holmes-the-devils-daughter-to-be-released-on-pc-and-consoles-in-spring-2016-148170/ Thanks so much I can not wait to play this game! I just recently platted Crimes & Punishments on the PS3 and really enjoyed it. And was looking at Testament. Glad to hear they might be working on another title. I liked Crimes and Punishments too. Perhaps even more so than Testament, but the graphics were the same if not slightly less so than Crimes. Gameplay it's exactly the same but it is nowhere near as smooth as Crimes so watch out for glitches that happen when you try to open a door or go through one because your character will just stop. The story was great though! Check it out and let me know what you think!
Popular Post JaM
been waiting for a while to post this #91 The Guided Fate Paradox Thou Art God! Obtain all trophies and you shall be awarded with this. Finally.. my first Disgaea pla... wait... this is not Disgaea game? but it has Asagi, Prinnies and previous Disgaea games main character... :3 First of all, huge shout out and thanks to greenzsaber... his Walk through + Trophy guide really helped (or rather, saved) me from the fuuun of this game... would probably not able to get this plat without his help... and next, thanks to x410xDragon for listening to my whines/rants and giving me advises while playing this game... I swear I will play and finish The Awakened Fate Ultimatum, not soon though Story: it is about Renya that has bad luck with lotteries/drawings (I could relate to this guy actually, *sob*) and then one day, he won a grand prize in a supermarket drawing... and the price: becoming a God... oh... with Angels that are dressed as Maid and Butler (whatever the reason there is, no idea til now). hmmm... now, did he finally had some luck.. or is it still a result of him having a very bad luck? Gameplay: it's genre... Roguelike RPG... so yeah... expect lots of randomness and perma-death... and that is what I love with this game and genre... you have zero idea what will happen next Trophies: fun fact: this game actually have all trophy rarity(Common, Uncommon, Rare, Very Rare, Ultra Rare)... some of the trophies are obtainable(even some misc. stuffs, lol there is even a trophy just by watching it's Opening Movie) just by playing through the story... and like some RPGs, the fun starts at NG+/Post game. Grind fest + dance with RNG... let's just say the next hours of life are definitely going to be fuuuun~ would definitely recommend to anyone that enjoys playing (and also to those who would like to try to play) Roguelike games... 92 Hakuoki: Stories of the Shinsengumi Fujoshi Got all the trophies. Well done! You're a beautiful person with your whole life ahead of you. oh yeah.. I am now a Fujoshi... My first Reverse Harem Visual Novel. I haven't watched the anime (and I don't have a plan to watch it anytime soon while on sane mind, yeah, I dislike Reverse Harem very much) ok, I really can't tell much about it's gameplay since it is your typical 100% Visual Novel games where you read wall of text, see CGs now and then and the story's ending is based on your choices, then choose other choices to get other endings... the trophies requirements are somehow a chore, since you need to unlock all the CGs, endings and encyclopedia entries... which requires you to replay the game (thank you chapter select) and then choose the other ending/choices you haven't picked... then after unlocking all story endings, dun dun dun... there's a Post Game story which is more like a filler on what happened in between the chapters... and guess what... more CGs/endings and encyclopedia entries... YAY!! oh what fun... I seriously don't blame you if you decided to press that Square button. Aside from repetitive chapter select, the trophy requirements are not hard... I could actually consider it has an easy plat... so... if you want an easy plat, this is of the Visual Novel you are looking for... but hopefully you still read it's wall of text since it has a great story to offer... oh lastly... just expect to do eyeroll now and then when witnessing "fan service" CGs... goodness.. seriously... can't these men drink/suck blood normally??? *facepalm* and *kyaa* my eyes... where the heck these these pink flowers come from that is popping now and then... that supposed to be best end though... *sob* Time to take a break from trophy hunting for now and start again collecting Stars of Destinies in Suikoden III~ (lol, it's kinda funny to think that last January 2015, I also took a break from trophy hunting and collected Stars of Destinies in Suikoden II ) once I finished Suikoden III... the journey to 100 begins/resumes Edited January 3, 2016 by JaM

Popular Post slash
#56 and first plat of 2016 - Dark Souls The Dark Soul - All trophies obtained. Congratulations! 2 years in the making! i first played and beat dark souls when i was in university when my roommate had it for 360. when it was time to go our separate ways and i got my ps3, i picked up dark souls, played it for a bit, but just stopped playing it after getting frustrated by blighttown again. but after bloodborne and the announcement of dark souls 3, i went back and fell it love with it all over again. there's really not much to say about dark souls that hasn't already been said over the last 5 years since it came out. it's left a legacy of tough but fair and the inevitable relief and sense of achievement after overcoming its many challenges. dark souls is ambiguous. it comes off as mysterious, inaccessible, and unwelcoming. but when you dive into it, and the game clicks with you, it becomes something very special. despite its difficulty, it's a game that very much wants you to beat it. its daunting atmosphere pulls you in. it's difficult to be interesting, to force you to approach it in ways that might be out of your comfort zone. dark souls plays by its own rules. it trains you to be cautious, to study it, and expects you to have the intelligence to learn from your mistakes. your in-game character isn't the one leveling up in dark souls. you, as the player, are the one leveling up. it's a sense of immersion that very few games can and will ever achieve. the more i play and think about dark souls, the more i realize that it's truly a masterpiece and one of the greatest and influential games of all time. with dark souls 3 coming out in april, if you're curious about the franchise, i encourage you to look into dark souls. underneath all the death and suffering that dark souls seems to give off, there is a very positive message about overcoming so much more than you thought you ever could. it wants you to try your very hardest and to succeed. question is, are you up for the challenge?

Popular Post minh2t
My platinum #42: Back to the Future: The Game My first platinum of 2016, just saw all 3 movies about 1 month ago so I was really into this one. I'm really glad it wasn't a game about the 3 movies but rather meant as a sequel to the story. And just like most Telltales game, you end up hating some characters for their irrationnal actions lol. Anyway, great game if you are a fan of the serie, otherwise avoid because it's pretty glitchy. Story was decent, trophies were easy.
