Popular Post DF007gamer
PLATINUM #168 MIDDLE-EARTH:SHADOW OF WAR MIDDLE-EARTH SHADOW OF WAR THE BRIGHT LORD Middle-earth has been saved. For now... PLAT TIME: 40 HOURS ENJOYMENT: 7/10 PLAT RARITY: 15.32% PLAT DIFFICULTY: 2/10 I've meaning to buy the game for awhile but always seem to skip the sale due the bad stick it got when it release because of the micro-transactions. Also the end game grind for Shadow Wars trophy put me off abit. So seen it was part of the PSNPLUS I had no excuse and tackle it. It seemed the update the Devs made after the bad reviews and sorting the end game grind made me enjoy this game alot. I like the LOTR lore and they seemed to have made a good story from a gaming perspective even if the LOTR nerds hated it because it wasn't a 100% true to the lore. At no point did it feel bored and loved looking for new captains to make warchiefs. In fact the trophies i think was setup in a good way so you could tackle the game in different ways like making all Warchiefs spies etc etc. Anyways I would totally would recommend the game to any non or LOTR fan to definitely put this plat in your collection. Here's hoping they make another one in the series. Happy trophy hunting.

Popular Post Charizarzar
#128: Star Wars: Squadrons Platinum Pilot Enjoyment: 7/10 Difficulty: 5/10 For a relatively cheap game that I already often see on sale, I think this would be a great choice for people who are into either flying or Star Wars games. It's cross-platform so the playerbase will likely be active for a while and I can't say I noticed having any extra difficulty when up against PC players. A lot of the trophies are still UR at the moment but I think the rarity will go down eventually. Most of the trophies are just grindy, and the only one I really had trouble with was needing to get 50k damage in one match. The campaign sucks a little bit, especially for trophy hunters since you have to speedrun the missions for the medals trophy and a lot of them have very slow sections before the action starts, but there wasn't much I struggled with and I normally hate having to do speedruns. There's definitely a learning curve to the controls- you can't jump into this straight after playing starfighter assault on Battlefront II or anything, but it's rewarding once you have it all figured out.
Lorajet
Plat #57: Queen's Quest 3: The End of Dawn Enjoyment: 4/10 Difficulty: 2/10 Well, the game was okay; noticed that I had played this one but was missing a collectible and mini puzzle. Damn. So, had to play it again, now with a guide to figure out what when wrong. Finally nailed it. DONE!

Popular Post Masamune
The Defense Grid Unlock all trophies for Defense Grid 2. Difficulty: 2/10 Enjoyment: 7.5/10 Playtime: N/A (3 weeks, 20 hours, 56 minutes) Screenshot: Just a little something I've been working on between gacha games. It's not the best TD game I've played (that's probably still Bloons), but it's certainly not the worse. The plat is very easy, mainly because you can play the whole game on easy. There's a little of a grind at the end when you need to clear 100 different missions with a gold medal, but it's very doable.

Popular Post Mariner1534
#53: Blood & Truth - Platinum Trophy This was a pretty cool story-driven VR FPS, it's been hyped as one of the big PSVR exclusives and for the most part I think it's worthy of the hype. However, while it was a fun ride, I struggled to find the motivation to replay it after finishing the campaign - I'm that way with a lot of "interactive movie" games, really. That made me take an extra 3 weeks to get the remaining trophies, when I could've cleaned it all up in a couple days. Plat was way easier than the 5% completion rate would suggest. It can just get kind of tedious if you missed a lot of collectibles/level-specific trophies on your initial run, since the game's on rails and you can't go back to earlier points in a level without restarting it. That, plus having to constantly take off the headset to check a guide for stuff I couldn't find on my own. Getting 5 stars on every level (required for the "all unlockables" trophy) sounds tough, but is cake once you find out that the scoring system is weighted very heavily towards headshots. Didn't have the patience to ace the DLC trophies, though - they seem harder than the regular game, but I'd rather move on and take my 91% complete plat. Overall, solid VR showcase with a plat that's easier than it looks. Probably wouldn't spend full price on it though. Difficulty: 3.5/10 Enjoyment: 7/10 Plat Time: 15-18 hours, I'd guess. No more than 20. Platinum Trophy Name Originality: 0/10 Edited December 3, 2020 by Mariner1534

shadowTECnology
#123 Concept Destruction This is more or less a copy of the post I made on the official game thread... I know that this game is only $5, but I have never played a car racing/destruction game so bad, that I actually got nauseous and dizzy as hell playing this for the 20-30 minutes to get this platinum. The controls are super tank heavy and the boost takes what feels like eternity to activate, or even see that it is active. Both of these issues makes this game not fun at all... The game is just bad! Want an easy, cheap PSN platinum to obtain, sure this game is for you. Want to possibly feel sick after doing so, this game is also for you. I don't recommend this game whatsoever... Difficulty - 1 out of 10 Fun factor - .5 out of 10 Now on to The Pathless for #124 and then Cyberpunk 2077 for my 125th platinum milestone ?
Popular Post kingjavs
Final Fantasy Type-Zero I'm mainly happy I got it because this game was sitting at 1% since 2015 and I had no idea why I wasn't into it at first. I had a lot of fun with it, very refreshing for a final fantasy experience. Makes me wish they'd make a game with this battle system on next gen!
Popular Post PooPooBlast
#151 A Plague Tale: Innocence Rats I'll start off by saying this game has rats. LOTS OF RATS and in unique ways . Gave me mad flashbacks of the little scarab buggers in the Mummy . Doesn't help they're both repelled by fire . Also (spoiler) Spoiler Rat Tornados? Rat whisperers (Hugo)? Hell yea!! Anywho, Plague Tale is a story-driven linear game that pits you in the shoes of Amicia de Rune in the 1300s in the midst of the rat plague hence the game title. It all starts when the rats arrive and on the same day the Inquisition arrive as well slaughtering everyone in your family's castle more or less. You and your little brother Hugo manage to escape and then it becomes a heartwarming story between sister and brother trying to survive the rats and the Inquisition. Of course I'm leaving out a lot of plot details for spoiler reasons and I'll leave the synopsis at that! I really enjoyed the dynamic between Amicia and Hugo and was pleasantly surprised with the overall package. There's always this fear, well not fear but wariness I should say of little kids turning out to be annoying little devils and ruining the game . Thankfully that wasn't the case and we got a really heartwarming story at least imo. Oh and one more thing, the story gets pretty dark at times which was unexpected considering you interact with children here and there. I mean sure the presence of the plague signifies that it's a dark game but you'll see what I mean if you play it. Anyway, if you go into this game looking for gameplay or a challenge then this wouldn't be for you. It's one of those super linear games that sometimes comes off as a bit too simple but I didn't mind considering sometimes you're busy with life and you just want to unwind and partially switch off your brain while still being entertained and this easily fulfills that. I applaud the devs for the effort they put into this game especially with the artistic directions, environment you traverse which doesn't feel generic or same-y and the music which helped either elevate the mood or tensed it up. The voice-acting was surprisingly great too with a weird mix of French and British accents. So yea... Overall, if you've noticed this game before, my opinion pretty much mirrors those that say it's a sleeper hit and often overlooked by people looking for bigger budgeted games. With that said, I'll leave you with some awesome screenshots courtesy of photo mode! (I'll tag the one that's a bit spoilery in a spoiler tag inside the spoiler tag ) Spoiler Spoiler Edited December 3, 2020 by PooPooBlast
Guest
Friday the 13th: Killer Puzzle Enjoyment: 7/10 Difficulty: 5/10 without a guide, 3/10 with one I'm almost always awful with puzzle games but I can't stay away from anything related to Friday the 13th. Pros: -Fun puzzles -Unique locations that go show different iconic places of the movies -These different locations slightly change up the puzzle formula which keeps it somewhat fresh -Adorable artstyle, and the different outfits for Jason are wonderful -The different weapons are fun to have, even if they don't make any real different to gameplay. -Most trophies are straightforward and easily getable. Cons: -The 30 kills in a row for murder marathon is a bit brutal. The killzone gets sarcastically small sometimes. -The level 100 grind is also brutal, but solely for the grind. -This is a very minor gripe because it's a personal issue, but many of the later puzzles seemed overly complicated. TL;DR: Fun puzzler that is clearly a mobile game, but the Friday the 13th skin makes it mostly enjoyable. Popular Post Valyrious
Been a while since I've done this... let's see if I remember how to do this. #78 - Astro's Playroom (PS5) My first Playstation 5 platinum, and my first platinum in almost two years. Got it a couple of weeks ago, but felt no motivation to 'brag about it'. I've gotten busy and lost a certain degree of passion for trophy hunting in general, but this game, along with the bustling new technology of the next generation, was more than enough to get me back in the saddle. Astro's Playroom isn't just an easy trophy list, or an exaggerated tech demo for the Dualsense; it's a freaking amazing game in it's own right. I pray that Team Asobi makes another Astro game, and this time they get to take my money. I haven't had this much fun with a platformer-esque game since Donkey Kong Country, back on the SNES. Sony is sleeping on a hidden gem. #79 - The House in Fata Morgana (PS4) The things I could say about this game... I'd be here all day, droning on and on. The game is a cult favourite amongst visual novel purists, and for good reason. It is undeniably a masterpiece. Not only that, it is the greatest visual novel I have ever played, and will be the golden standard for all the great stories that I play going forward. It is so strong that I would say it has the best storytelling I have ever experienced in any medium, period. I wish I could say everybody should play it, but it's not a game for everyone. The game is haunting, terrifying, emotional, heart breaking, soul destroying, repulsive, empowering, etc. Some of the stories touch on incredibly sensitive subjects that will leave your head spinning. The amount of thought and care that went into this localization is unheard of. It is a game with no voice acting. And you feel the absence of voices at first. But you get used to it. It's almost like reading a bone chilling novel. But that changes with the PS4/PSV exclusive story, Reincarnation; which adds voice acting to the experience. Can't think of a better way for the game to wrap up. It is an experience I will never forget, and will probably spend the rest of my life trying to find something else that can live up to it or surpass it. If you buy this game for the easy trophy list and skip through the game, there is a special place in hell for your ilk. Buy the game, and get captivated. Forget about trophies and enjoy an unforgettable, heart breaking story. I hope I'm able to convince one person to buy the game, and hear that they had a similar experience that I did. It would truly make me feel complete as a gamer. Now, onward to finishing up Spyro 2, before Cyberpunk 2077 releases and consumes my life. Popular Post snakebit10
Master Assassin #324 Assassin's Creed Syndicate You play as the Frye twins, Jacob and Evie. I mostly used Evie when I could. It is a standard AC game. This is the last one before they changed up the formula. I am no AC veteran as I haven't played a lot of the games but do enjoy them when I do. I really like the England setting in this. Not to difficult, just some grindy stuff and of course the 100% Sync trophy.
