Popular Post Ala-Arska
Aces of the Luftwaffe - Squadron Legend of the Skies Collect all Aces of the Luftwaffe trophies! Oh the weather outside is frightful. But the fire, the fire, is so delightful! Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow...and rain hell on Nazis (and Yanks in DLC)! Aces of the Luftwaffe - Squadron is a top down shoot 'em up, based on fictional events after World War II. A 16-bit Wolfenstein shmup I love this genre. Tiger Heli (NES, I'm a nostalgia freak), every other level in Life Force (NES) and Axelay (SNES), Sky Force Anniversary... As long as it's not full blown bullet hell I can hold my own up there, with the best of the best. Just call me Maverick AotL - S is not the hardest one out there, besides the final two bosses. And the DLC trophy for beating 'em in Extreme difficulty. Sheesh. Crisp graphics, just perfect for pixel destruction and mayhem. Everything is clear and sudden deaths are usually your own fault. Except when the screen is filled with my explosion skills and enemy rockets and fire and bullets. Then you are literally flying blind Voice acting is (unintentionally?) hilarious. The Good Guys (Brits and Americans) all have thick German accents, which is just priceless Music and sound effects are a blast. Boss battles ooze Rocky IV-esque ass kickery. Just wanna lift heavy weights and punch those planes!!! I have only dabbled a bit with the DLC, in which you play as the Third Reich monsters. Seems even more fun than the main campaign Upgrading your pilots is fun too. What I'm trying to tell you is that instead of dodging bullets...when you're ready, you won't have to. If you're even slightly interested in these types of games, you can't go wrong with Luftwaffe - Squadron. It's Aces, baby
Popular Post Phantochi
#225 - Sayonara Wild Hearts While i have absolutely no idea what i just played, it was incredible and I'd do it again in a heartbeat. My only problem with this game is the fact that it ended, but i got to kiss a dragon so that makes up for it.
Popular Post stevenanthony88
#39 Watch Dogs: Legion (PS5) Platinum difficulty rating - 3/10 Fun factor - 7,5/10 Closing the year 2020 in style by getting another platinum. I like playing Watch Dogs: Legion, and overall I enjoyed the story a lot. Platinum is not difficult at all, but some of the trophies are a big boring grind unfortunately and don't add anything to the story.

Popular Post AK-1138
Platinum #570: Difficulty: 5.5/10 Playtime: 45-50 hours Enjoyment: 7.5/10 So here we are at the ol' trilogy capper! Never played it proper back in the day... for no real reason, really. I seem to remember being on a mad RPG binge around '04-ish so that might explain it. Anyways, it just never happened... until now, that is! Can it close out the trilogy on a high? Well, you already saw the Enjoyment Score up there, so suffice to say... nah. More than anything, San Andreas comes across as a bit of a desperate attempt at shaking up the status quo with new mechanics that turn out half-baked more often than not. The light RPG/simulation aspects in particular feel tacked on just for the sake of applying a new paint of coat, and mostly get in the way of the fun. The relationship stuff is so repetitive and grindy I didn't even bother after half an hour. And even though the controls are a lot better than before, the game contains some of the most frustrating and poorly designed missions in the series (as well as some of the best ones, credit where it's due!) that stops your sense of progression (and enjoyment) dead in its tracks for almost every third mission played. Though, speaking of tracks... I actually found the infamous "follow the damn train" mission (one of the only things from this game I was aware of beforehand) to be deceptively easy. And the less said about the needlessly large and hard-to-traverse game world, the better. I gotta give Rockstar some plaudits for being at least somewhat aware of their increasingly tired formula, but this is not the way to brighter future. The franchise's original sin of bogging down their games with simulation and po-faced "realism" began here, which eventually killed my interest in the series altogether. Just not what I want out of my grand and thefty autoing. The Spike Lee-esque early '90s gangland setting is not really my bag at the best of times, not at all helped by the writers' lamentable failure at trying to inject some heart and emotional depth to the story told. Honestly, that kind of thing is just fundamentally incongruous to the spirit of the series in my view, and comes off as both inept and disingenuous, at least with this attempt. The genuine pathos of Red Dead Redemption still feels as far away and unlikely as in III. Not that it really matters or nothing, but it also feels somewhat uncomfortable playing a game involving corrupt police officers, riots, and gang wars when so very little has changed in almost thirty years. Maybe I'm just too much of a comparatively sheltered white boy to be able to relate too much to the goings-on, I don't know. At its core though, it's still business as usual, and it's a credit to the solid FUNdamentals of the series that I still enjoyed it a lot despite my misgivings. Cheating at the triathlon thingy was genuinely one of my most thrilling gaming moments of the year. Playing it also inspired me to finally finish up my '90s Spotify playlist, which really came in handy when transporting cars around the excessively large game world, lemme tell ya! I'm very thankful you don't have to 100% it for the platinum, because that would be actual hell... and grinding those kills--especially when your game crashes from time to time, ruining your progress--already is not a walk in the park. I've kinda had my fill of GTA for the time being, but if fancy takes, I'll probably do the PS3 stack down the line, as I hear it's a lot less frustrating. After all, time has already softened my opinion of the game... that score wasn't always 7.5, my dude! Overall, I'm pretty impressed with how well the trilogy holds up so many years later, and you kind of owe it to yourself to take a deep dive into one of the most influential series of games ever. Largely, it was a joyride with emphasis on the joy.
Popular Post MidnightDragon
#62 SpongeBob Squarepants: Battle For Bikini Bottom Rehydrated This was overall a very fun game with a few frustrating parts. Sadly, I never played the original version, but I might do so now. Had minimal glitches as well. The voice bites throughout the level got a bit old fast, though. If you played the original, I see no reason why you wouldn't enjoy this.

Ode2Destruxion
#23 Rayman Legends (Legendary) Really enjoyable game but man that was a slog getting the last trophy. Over 7 months of logging in most days to play the daily/weekly challenges and get the Truly Awesome! trophy. To put it into perspective I've gained 17 other platinums since I started that particular journey. Aside from that grind, playing the game and collecting the other trophies was a very fun experience. Guest
Gris Enjoyment: 9/10 Difficulty: 2/10 I thought it would be a throw-away-but-fun-and-easy plat game since so many people had it, but it was one of the most beautiful experiences I've ever had in gaming. Pros: -Unbelievably beautiful art style -Incredible music -Solid and interesting, yet simple and precise gameplay -The moment where the Spoiler turtle bursts out of the eel was one of the most beautiful and impactful moments I've ever witnessed in a game. -Trophies are straightforward once you know what to actually do. Cons: The single thing I didn't like about the game was that the game doesn't tell you exactly what collectibles/mementos that you're missing, so I had to go through each level again and do it them one by one (besides the one I directly remember getting). This is such a minor and frankly irrelevant complaint, so who cares. TL;DR: This generation's Journey, with gorgeous visuals and unbelievably beautiful music. Popular Post AK-1138
Platinum #571: Difficulty: 4.5/10 Playtime: 250-300 hours Enjoyment: 9.5/10 So... yeah. Me and this game didn't start off on the best of terms. Blah blah blah, hype, blah blah, overwhelming amounts of content, blah, broken gold medal requirements, blah blah, mental blocks, etc. I had no choice but to just leave it and learn to live with the disappointment, perhaps never to finish it; forever a mocking spectre atop my backlog. Then, this year, I decided to randomly give it a go, and something clicked where it hadn't before. Like the thawing relationship of Arthur and John, I guess we just had to take it slow and let time do its perfect work. Time can steal away happiness, but time can take away grief. Now, I couldn't be happier to have given it a second chance; or, a chance for redemption, if you will. I couldn't think of a better way to round off another great trophy hunting year. Now, my heart will seemingly always belong to the original Redemption. I just think it's more fun to actually play... and no kidding, cheating at poker is half the reason I go back to it every now and then. And the disappointingly laidback and repetitive score feels like a misguided step back from the whiskey-drenched Spaghetti Western garage rock dynamism of the first. But I will say, the perfect Red Dead game probably exists only within the center of a 1-2 Venn diagram, as there are plenty of inspired gameplay innovations I would gladly see implemented into RDR1. That's as it should be. Though initially hesitant towards many of the changes made from game to game, eventually I learned to admire and respect the developers' attempts to make the two feel unique yet familiar. Once you just learn to slow down and breathe in time with the deliberately slow and atmospheric pace of RDR2, it truly is an amazing experience not to be missed. Hands down one of the most luscious and beautiful game worlds ever created, and given such polish as to hardly ever break its beguiling spell through technical mishaps. Truly staggering for a world of this ambition and scope... even the arduous temerity of some of the more exotic tasks like hunting birds is mitigated by the sheer beauty of it all. My biggest problem from a design perspective is the lack of any meaningful in-game method of finding the all-too-copious collectibles; I realize it's a problem many games have, but especially here it's an unnecessary break in immersion to look stuff up on the internet... and let's face it, you did it too! Ain't nobody can do something as inintuitive as this blind, sure as shootin'! The writing and worldbuilding is another high watermark for Rockstar. The stars of one of the greatests casts in video game history, our inexplicably lovable gang of outlaws are filled with nuances and hidden depths, ensuring investment into their trials and tribulations from beginning to end. An emotional rollercoaster in its own right, and one that further compounds the events of RDR1 in surprising and satisfying ways. I usually don't care much for prequels--the ink is dry, and all that--but this is truly one that makes it count. Tell you what, I could sit here all night and wax lyrical about this singular experience, but you've really got to experience it for yourself. Even the multiplayer portion was a lot of fun, just the thing for me and my proclivity towards grinding and collecting things. I even went the extra mile and completed the compendium just for added catharsis factor! That last ride I had just traveling through the world, compass disabled, paying tribute to the fallen ones with a dram of whiskey, is a special memory I will treasure forever. Its meticulously measured charms are not for everyone (as indeed it wasn't for me for almost two years there) but I'm beyond thankful I was able to somehow get over myself and enjoy it for what it is. Now all that need happen is for a certain young Mr. Marston to get his own redemption... God willing, may we all meet again in Red Dead Redemption III: The Search for Jack Marston's Meaning in Life! And have a Happy New Year, you filthy animals!

Popular Post Rias Gremory
Platinum #308 The Walking Dead: The Final Season Uncommon: 33.46% Difficulty: 2/10. Enjoyment: 10/10. Challenge: 9/10. Grind Difficulty: 7/10. Genre: Point-and-Click, Adventure, Action, Horror, Survival, Drama and Death. Platinum Time: 1 day and 8 hours. Quite the most sad and enjoyable game I've ever played. Honestly, all the shear, grind, hard work and determination all paid off in the end. The story show alot of love, depths, difficult choices etc. I had to make a few backup saves for trophies so that I don't restart from an episode in the beginning and luckily I had no mistakes at all. It's hard for me to say which episode has the best shit in it but i'll say all 4 episodes are fantastic. I saved Clementine in the end and she survived from the beginning to the end. Everything turned out great and loved everything from...well pretty much all of it. Would definitely recommended this to anyone for a real and easy challenge for the final season. Next Platinum: ???
Popular Post Darghel
#91 The New Dragon (Yakuza: Like a Dragon) Difficulty: Takes some time, but nothing too difficult. Requires some grinding Time to Complete: 97 hours Recommended: Absolutely yes! Total Score: 10/10 What can I say, this game was just amazing: I never fully played a Yakuza game (I played some kiwami and Lost Paradise) but this game was just so much fun, I never felt so much in a big while! The jrpg mechanics are functional and work very well, the story is very good, and it got me interested until the end, the main protagonist is just so likable in his dumbness, and the combat is very good even though not flawless. This game was definitely a surprise and I wasn't expecting to enjoy it so much, and to platinum it just a couple of days before 2021. Honestly, my only big issues are in the balancing aspects of combat: most jobs are pretty weak when compared to the unique jobs of each character (with the exception of Saeko and maybe Adachi) and the only real reason you'll be leveling them is to obtain the permanent stat boosts they give, like extra hp and mp, or the unique skills they can be carried over to other jobs. In this particular case, I absolutely disliked how there's a huge lack of magical spells and how there are too many skills of the same type: there's an overabundance of blunt-type skills, some of which are great too but still too many, and barely any gun-type of skills (heck I think only the dealer and matriarch have those types of attacks, beyond the killer's unique class), and the problem starts when the game will always give you enemies who are resistant to the blunt type of damage. Some of them are weak to blades and blades-type skills aren't rare, but most jobs have blunt attacks anyway, and only very few enemies were weak to guns so that's a relief. Then there are the magic spells, which are very few like I mentioned, but the problem here is reverse: a lot of enemies are weak to spells, in particular thunder, and it's almost if not completely required to have the thunder spell on all your characters! I was doing the True Millenium tower for the last trophy, and all I ever did was spamming the thunder magic (and occasionally frost and fire). Almost all other skills were useless as they were resistant. That's really my only complaint though: combat is overall fast, although avoiding combat is difficult, and the UI during combat could've been better as you can't choose depending on the list but from the position on your screen, as well as having some aoe skills being hard to read when trying to attack multiple targets, but beyond that, the game is still quite enjoyable and I never cared about the flaws. Sure you also need to do the arena to catch up leveling but that's fine too, and the rewards are fantastic. As for the trophies, none are missable which is a big plus, especially since you can do most of the stuff in the premium adventure anyway, and there's a ng+ in the case you want to replay, and there's nothing huge to do either: I didn't have to do all minigames either, only the ones that mattered like dragon kart (a lot of fun, but too easy), the business management (really fun and necessary to recruit the extra character), and Can Quest (had to do it for the cockroaches...seriously? Cockroaches are a rare reward in this game?!). The only real trophy that might get you into trouble is the True Millenium Tower, the hardest dungeon in the game, with lvl 99 enemies who can almost 1 shot you: that's where I had to grind the most as I maxed out 6 jobs out of 10 (or 6 for the girls, they have less, including the DLC) and then decided to give it a go. The entire grinding ordeal took me 25-30 hours after finishing the game and you're required to kill the invested vagabonds to get any good exp, which are basically this game's version of the metal slime...in fact, I didn't mention how exp rates are crap and how most random fights are worthless...but whatever, still had fun. What can I say, this game was just amazing, again. I highly recommend giving it a try, even if you're an old fan of Yakuza: who knows, you might get into the turn-based gameplay and start to play other classics. In my case, I might start going back to Yakuza: it is about time to get serious in that series! Edited December 31, 2020 by Darghel
Popular Post Sora9427
Well it's been A LONG while since my last post int hsi forum and why no start over here in the platinum section? This year was, surpisingly rich! I thought i got way less than i did but checking my profile i got like 24 plat i think? Which is a Lot compared to other years, well i guess 5-6 were quite a boost too at the end, sitll last 2 year i got like 12 at most? So it was still a good bit more without december too! Anyway i'm really satisfied with this 2020 trophy wise, got a lot of them, i won't post all my plats here of course even if it's actually since January that i don't post So here are the last plats i got last week or days and a small jugdement on them. I wanted to reach 175 Before the end of the year so i played some of the fast games i had, i bought them because i wnated too not purely for the plat, was epxecting some to be played later but at least less backlog PlatnumGet all the trophies Guess they didn't see they typo in the Platinum or maybe it's on purpose? Anyway, a Small game a friend of mine got and gave it to me, i knew it was a short one and it was on my Ps4 for motnhs now so i decided to play it in my Journey towards 175. It ended up actually being an interesting title! It caught me in the story for 2 days, i liked the narration and the story itself, same figuring out what to do around the map. I instead didn't like at all the Endings, both are just really Meh. What a pity with such an interesting adventure before. Didn't even really needed to be longer, just a better Finale than this. Purrr Power! Unlock all other trophies Taimamuri, a game i got some months ago since it looked similar to Celste (Gameplay wise) and with interesting Drawings and style! It ended up being a neat game but that's it sadly. The draws are indeed pretty god, the story is nice but nothing amazing, the Gameplay is nice too but sadly i had to rely on God mode otherwise is kinda stupid. You do waaay too few damage to the first boss, damn even maxed out you don't do that much, wish they balanced it better so it could have been made in few attempts even without cheats but didn't really wanted to play the level and the game for like 5-6 hours and days. Even the Bosses are interesting characters but it's so boring that their story is all behind a massive wall of text after the collectibles are found. I don't really have the desire to read all that, plus seems like the Main character know all of their reasons and secrets, how? who knows. So yeah, a neat game for a Day or two but that's it sadly. I found it kinda of a waste could have been a lot better of a game with more dedication to everything. A true adventurer Collect all trophies A game i wanted to get other sales but only got some weeks ago finally. I Like this style of gameplay honestly that's whyi got it, and it ended up indeed being pretty fun! The i guess story? Is really simple if even is considered one, just raiding a tomb that's it. But well it was a Mobile game after all! Anyway i got it for the gameplay and it didn't dissapointed! It was fun depsie some puzzle being pretty frustrating or too long, i had a good time with it. The collectible were kinda annoying, thankfully there are great image guides online so it wasn't too big of a deal! A Winter's Daydream Platinum Good job! Completed all tasks! A VN i won on Twitter on a giveaway once and that i wanted to get anyway :3 And GOD i'm so annoyed that 90% of the plat owners probably skipped everything. This was such a wonderful story to read! I really really liked it, such a sweet and delightful love story and didn't expect surely that kind of story! Wish they used another image for the Plat, maybe it would be a spoiler but damn there is a wonderful scene they could have used! Anyway, if you have it, please read it! It's a really nice story and a short one too like 3-4 hours even less if you read fast, don't skip it just for an easy plat it's such a waste. Guess i'll get is new story too even if the pubblisher is that money plat grabber sadly. Wish it woudl have staied with "sometimes you" Agent 47 Collect all trophies for Hitman GO: Definitive Edition. Pretty much same as TR but way worst. Sadly this is probably the worst game out of all this list. Gameplay wise it's pretty nice, being kinda even more of a board game compared to TR but all the objectives trophies make it so you have to watch Video Guides or take hours in doing them and i don't wanna spend 3-4 days behind all this to figure out myself, on Vita maybe but on Ps4, Nah. So yeah i had to use guides on YT making the game basiclaly watching and copy and that's it. Really boring experince, literallya Plat that ruins the enjoyment from the game this one. Metropolis: Lux Obscura PlatinumGood job! Completed all tasks! Another game i got myself during the sales few weeks ago, i saw some of the gameplay and the Drawings around and wanted it since quite a bit, as soon as it went on a good sale, grabbed it! It endedn up being Fun and interesting but also annoying and frustrating at some parts! The story is pretty interesting and i liked it overall, i just did not like how there is no "Good" ending let's say without spoilers, i wanted at least a decent one, guess not and i don't like that honestly, not only here but overall in a game with mutliple endings. The Gameplay is pretty strange and nice, something new you don't see really often, it's kinda of a pity that is heavily RNG based and few skill/strategy, would have liked the other way around, that's what made some battle really annoying, took maybe 15 minutes of bad luck then 1 minute of amaizng combos randomly to win! Plus apparently Perks matter A LOT, meore than you realize the first Run! Anyway i had fun a pity for the RNG elements and the Endigns but still nice story, great drawings, pretty nice voice over too and neat gameplay, i had a good time here too! The Phenomenal Phantom Thief Obtained all trophies. Well here is the Reason WHY i wanted to reach 175 before the end of the year I Wanted to have P5R as a Milestone in the year it came out! What can i say? I think most things have been already told. This is my favourite game ever, literally! I already had P5 in that place and Boy P5R surpassed even that! I had a blast back in March and april when i played, an already GORGEOUS story made even better by the new characters and Story arc which i found mindblowing and absolutely amazing to play, to watch, to enjoy and to discover! This is seriously such a wonderful game i halted the plat because i wanted it as a Milestone and i was at 163 Plats i think back in April, probably less. I'm so happy to have it there to look, it's not rare being a lot easier compared to the Normal 5 but i'm proud of it :3 What to say more. I'll surely play it once more, i even got the DLC Challenges for it, i tried them and they weren't that hard, at least to defeat, to complete oh no, that will require attempts, i will try surely next year! PS: I'm soo sad that Scrumble is considered after the normal 5, that made me drop every hype with it. I'll sitll get it, knowing myself day one, but i really don't like or understand why we can't see the new P5R character in it.... Bloodborne All trophies acquired. Hats off! Well when i thought P5R was my last plat for the year i finally managed to get BloodBorne too! I started the game at the beginning of December, i already knew i would had a lot of fun with it, i watched some of it before and always heard amazing things about it, well i can see totally why! Story wise it surely is far more interesting than Dark Soul for me, didn't really bother in DS1 or Demon soul to look up info or story about bosses and places instead for some in BB i actually looked at the wiki and surprised by the events, really awesome world all around! I Played using bascially all game the starting SawBlade you get, simple enough but i loved it especially closed allows you to be really fast and aggressive which is exactly my stile! During the Game story there weren't really any point or bosses i could say i hated, some weren't awesome sure but nothing it annoied or made me angry! I can see too why people say BB it's easier comapred to the souls, probably because you move and dogde faster than there and so even if you can't parry you can dodge a lot and the Stamina too it seems to be consumed less. And this is for me A LOT better, you have soo much mobility and not by choice but by default which is nice The only thing i HATED, i HATED and i HATED in this game was the Defield chalice. The chalice itself it's a drag but at least a doable one (Pllus it's a massive drag because of the Ritual materials farming i would say) but that Chalice in aprticular? God fuck that.... It's not a challange in itself it's a challenge because the game nerfs you and that's plenty stupid. It leaves you at half health meaning you bascially get one shotted by almost every attack of a boss and 2-3 shotted by normal enemies, such fun... That Freakin dog one shotted me like 30-40 times with a random charge with no charge up, because that's fair! I spent a week trying from time to time to do it, i was so relived when i made it! Amygdala i cheesed her with the Blade method, thankfully with that it only took like 20+ Attempts to actaully make it! I tried fighting her fair and square and the first and Second phase i dodge and attacked and surived but the third phase with the Arms as weapons? that's just plenty stupid, i wonder if they actaully tested it becuase you get it even by Air on the other side of the Arena and of course One-Shotted Anyway aside of my hate for that Chalice the Battle against the queen was actually fun, an interesting boss that deal a lot but doesn't one-shot you, and look that's a lot funnier, whould've tought? Now i can say i ahve this plat too and after that Chalice i surely am proud of it and to have played such a great game I even got the 100% in the DLC. It was a relaly nice one with cool areas and bosses, was scared of Kos after hearing about it in the past but after some tries it wans't thaat hard. It punishes you more for being passive and well as i said i love playing agressive so it was a nice battle :3 Same with Lady Maria! Such a cool character. PS: Even in the DLC FUCK the Rakuyo. God i hated getting it, took like 20 minutes and many many deaths because of that 2 stupid giant fish enemies that don't leave you a moment to breath in such a small arena, so Glad i somewhow managed that. And that's all for me, if you actually read everything, WOW impressive, i wrote a wall after all Hope to write more too next year! Hopefully another one with many plats for me and for Every Hunter
Popular Post Nightstream88
Birthday of Midnight Platinum #97 Figured I would get at least one more platinum trophy, and got it my birthday, and pretty much picked this for the game title name, at least the game was decent, but I did like Midnight Deluxe as well, only one I didn't care for was 36 fragments of midnight mainly because it was just a single screen and lack of challenges on it. Birthday of Midnight I did complete all 72 levels even though only 50 was required.

Different enough story paths, hat for the most part are intersting. There is a little bit of busy-work as well though. One thing I really wished was, that this game had voice-over. Enjoyment: 6.5 Difficulty: 2

Enjoyed the 1st one a bit more from story perspective, but they really upped their game from technical perspective in this game.

Popular Post UK-Danny-93
200 Control Director of the FBC 36.99% Uncommon Finally made it on the last day of the year. Made it to 200 in 2020! 30th for the year and a great game for the milestone. It's probably the last big yearly goal I'll make for myself. From here out I'll take things more as they come I think. Glad to have made this last one in time and with one of my favourite games of the year. For now on to the dlc. Happy New Year everyone!
