Popular Post jemmie
Have you ever played a game that was super fun, yet the trophies were unbearably hard to the point where you thought the platinum was outright impossible? I certainly have. With enough practice, maybe, but in this day and age, where new games are aplenty, and many of us trophy hunters are trying to maximize our plat count, these seemingly impossible games get lost and forgotten. Well, NO LONGER! I won't bore anyone with the details, but recently, my passion for trophies has reignited, revisiting games of old that I once thought were hard. I even managed to plat Persona 4 Arena Ultimax last week, arguably my hardest plat of all time. That's when I got the idea, why not make an event out of SURPASSING YOUR LIMITS? Starting August 5th (12 am GMT), I will embark on an epic, year-long journey, trying to plat some of the games I thought were impossible to plat. I encourage others to do the same, taking on old foes and sharing their progress throughout the year. Here are the rules: No judgement. And that's it! I would prefer if games had at least one trophy earned (we're trying to clear our backlogs, not expand them), but I won't be too strict on that. Enter with as many games as your want, providing dramatic commentary for each game if you wish. You can look at an example submission below. I listed my games from most-likely to least-likely to plat. Participants: 1. @jem 1/11 Spoiler 1. The Guided Fate Paradox Guide Difficulty - 9/10 Personal Difficulty - 7/10 Online Necessary - No Scariest Trophy - Defeated Prince Yamato! This game was originally higher on the list, but after a recent surge of motivation to plat Guided Fate, I came across a few exploits and tricks to make the game easier. As I want this to be plat #125, I intend on finishing it up soon after the start of the event. That being said, there was a time where I thought that I would never get this plat, so I think it still deserves a spot on this list. 2. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Guide Difficulty - 6/10 Personal Difficulty - 7/10 Online Necessary - No (but appreciated) Scariest Trophy - Star 69 While never thinking that this plat was impossible, I just had to put MW2 on this list due to my dark past with this game. MW2 was the first CoD game I seriously tried to platinum, and while the veteran story wasn’t that bad, some of the special ops missions were downright brutal. Through the help of many allies, and a bit of luck, I eventually completed all of the veteran missions except for Wetwork, the hardest mission in the game. I must’ve tried this mission on and off at least 100 times over the past five years. I’ve made it to the end about five-six times, but each time, I would accidentally kill a hostage. The one time I did beat it, my brother tricked me by setting the difficulty to hardened while I was out of the room. I didn’t try for a while after that one. 3. Need for Speed: Most Wanted Guide Difficulty - 6/10 Personal Difficulty - 8/10 Online Necessary - No Scariest Trophy - Second is Nothing You may think this game isn’t so bad, and for the most part, you’d be right. But there’s that one race that’s miles harder than the best, a wheel challenge. While the name of the race is currently drifting from my memory, I do remember that the difficulty jump was so severe that I was almost immediately drained of all spirit. I’m wheely bad at racing games, but after recently platting Grid 2, I feel just a bit better about trying again. 4. BlazBlue: Continuum Shift Guide Difficulty - 9/10 Personal Difficulty - 9/10 Online Necessary - No Scariest Trophy - Superior State of Mind Continuum Shift Extend isn’t on this list because I know I can plat that with enough time and effort. The prequel, however, has a much harder challenge trophy. The other trophies I have left seem somewhat daunting as well, but at least I’ve done all of the easy stuff/online already. 5. Dead or Alive 5 Guide Difficulty - 10/10 Personal Difficulty - 10/10 Online Necessary - No (but appreciated) Scariest Trophy - Survival Master Thankfully, the online is already done with this game, because it is a GRIND! Speaking of grinds, what I have left in this game is both grindy and painful. From this game on, we’re in the territory of “Oh boy, I’m seriously attempting this!”. There’s a method for beating the courses, but even then, survival seems pretty scary. 6. Skullgirls 2nd Encore Guide Difficulty - 8/10 Personal Difficulty - 10/10 Online Necessary - No Scariest Trophy - Overruled! Hard challenge trophies, plus a few other difficult modes. Enough said. 7. Arcana Heart 3 Guide Difficulty - 9/10 Personal Difficulty - 10/10 Online Necessary - No Scariest Trophy - Atatatatatatatatatatatatatata! Just...read this thread: 8. Mortal Kombat Guide Difficulty - 5/10 Personal Difficulty - 10/10 Online Necessary - Yes Scariest Trophy - Tower Master This plat may actually be slightly more doable than some of the choices above, but Mortal Kombat is 8th because of the inhumane mastery grind. The tower is also extremely hard, at least the top of it. 9. Persona 4: Arena Guide Difficulty - 10/10 Personal Difficulty - 10/10 Online Necessary - Yes Scariest Trophy - C'est Magnifique! Do I even need to explain myself here? 9 and 10 are pretty much placeholders. I would need to be an absolute legend to conquer either of them. 10. Battle Fantasia Guide Difficulty - 9.5/10 Personal Difficulty - 10/10 Online Necessary - Yes (but I can self-boost it) Scariest Trophy - You Want Me To WHAT? This plat would probably be doable, with a lot of practice, without the Deathbringer trophy. I can’t even parry once, let alone the amount of times it takes to get the trophy. And no damage?! No thank you! Honorary Game From Hell - Mirror's Edge 2. @eigen-space 1/5 Spoiler Game - % Complete - Last Trophy Earned Atelier Meruru Plus - 91% - 5 June 2016Dungeon Traveler's 2 - 69% - 29 November 2017 Oh...Sir! The Insult Simulator - 97% - 14 July 2018 Tales of Xillia 2 - 42% - 11 September 2017 Yomawari: Night Alone - 17% - 26 December 2016 3. @kingofbattle8174 0/5 Spoiler 1: Diablo III 1% 1st trophy: 22 AUG 2015 I know I did say I wasn't going to do my pyramid games but this game will be a proud achievement when I knock it off the list. It was a library game to begin with. I now finally bought it from Gamestop a few weeks ago to get it complete. It is an amazing game just time consuming or life consuming not sure which. 2. Mad Max : 11% 1st Trophy 9 NOV 2015 A really good game just huge. I want to go back and get it all done. 3: Bully: 1% 1st Trophy: March 26 2016 One of my all time favorite games. I 100% it on 360 some years ago. It is time to go back to school. 4: Star Wars Battlefront: 37% 1st Trophy: 11 DEC 2015 I do not play a lot of multiplayer. Just not my skill range but for Star Wars I made an exception. I have slowly over time whittled away at it. I have neglected it for some time now. I know I need to get back into it before the community dries up. 5. Neverwinter::1% 1st Trophy: July 16 2016 I plan to start from scratch on this game on the 1st of 2019 and be complete by the end of the year. I know it is a tall order. I hope I can get mostly there with my sanity and marriage intact. 6. Guitar Hero Live. 65% complete. 1st trophy 26 Dec 2015. 35/50. I want to see of I can complete the online portion before the servers shut down in December. I already unlocked one today for using 100 play tokens. I had 28 left to get through. That was after a few months ago wastimg alot of tokens to get the 18 straight songs top 5 or better. So today was just clean up. 4. @dmland12 0/6 Spoiler Atari Flashback Classics vol.2 (0.46%) Reus (0.58%) Lichtspeer (0.80%) Trackmania Turbo (0.81%) Forced (1.39%) Furi (1.55%) 5. @Mesopithecus 2/5 Spoiler 1. No Man's Sky I just have the DLC left to do in this, including the dreaded Pema-Death trophy. There is another new patch coming out on 24th July with actual multiplayer Whether this makes the game easier or not remains to be seen. I'm expecting new trophies though and it will be a good excuse to revisit this game. 2. Final Fantasy XV Played twice and then forever at the bottom of my incomplete games. Now they have added a load of DLC I heard it's improved the game, but still....all that DLC (I still need to buy the Royal DLC Pack) 3. Final Fantasy X HD Another one in the dark and murky depths of my backlog. Would rather do a no sphere grid fight against Penance than do the Lightning Dancer and Chocobo Rider trophies 4. Trine Enchanted Edition An easy platinum for some, but for me....a bit more of a personal challenge as I am absolutely terrible at platformers Now for my Ultimate Challenge 5. Stardew Valley Currently sitting at 70% completion, this chilled out farming game has two trophies that require some "getting good" on my part (and it will probably take me a year of practice to do so) The trophies both relate to Journey of the Prairie King, one for completing it and one for completing it without dying. Should be easy....right? Well I have made it to the last set of stages once. As far as I know, there are no glitches or exploits to make it easier. Spoiler 6. @Sardavanua 2/7 Spoiler Title - Rarity - My current completion / Online Necessary Darkest Dungeon - 0.60% - 28% / No Difficulty: 9/10 This game is without a doubt the most difficult game on my list. While Darkest Dungeon's sheer difficulty is alot of fun and really well designed, it's trophies on the other hand are quite the opposite of enjoyment. Combining the base game with it's DLC Crimson Court is incredibly frustrating due to it's new negative perk it introduces. I might replace the game tho if it get's new trophies with the upcoming DLC, because I'm pretty sure the rarity would drop by at least 0,3%. Furi - 1.55% - 34% / No Difficulty: 8/10 It's a well known challenge due to it's Ps Plus release and therefore most people know how difficult this game is. I for myself really enjoyed it so far and the Carpenter Brut OST was a pleasent suprise. I remember failing alot at the Sniper fight and because of that never returned to it, so let's see how it goes this time. Those S-Ranks won't be easily achieved, that's for sure. The Technomancer - 3.83% - 4% / No Difficulty: 6/10 The rarity and overall low completion ratio of The Technomancer has only one reason: It's a crap game with an even crappier trophy list. So what do we have here: Missable Sidequest? Check. Relationship trophies? Check. Difficulty related trophies? Check. Class speficic trophies? Check. Points of no return? 5 of 'em, Check. Time limited quests? Check. Different Endings? Check. Faction related trophies? Check. Hallelujah, we're in for ride. Besides that the game is a technichal mess, has one of the worst hitbox system I've ever seen on PS4 and is lame af. It's like a worse version of Bound by Flame. Torment: Tides of Numenera - 1.70% - 7% / No Difficulty: -/- IMO varies from 3/10 to 10/10. Depends on experience and knowledge. I'm looking forward to this one. A truly unique game and it's also my favorite game genre. The difficulty is hard to estimate, it's a matter of experience with these kind of games. Multiple playthroughs are required and even then planning is required. I guess you could technically get all of them in one playtrough but you'd have to butcher the game into alot of hard saves and therefore spoil all the fun and magic of this game. -Titan Quest Starting Trophies: 16 Trophies Left: 9 -Pillars of Eternity: Complete Edition Starting Trophies: 0 Trophies Left: 27 -Divinity: Original Sin Starting Trophies: 0 Trophies Left: 55 7. @Walt the Dog 1/5 Spoiler Hatsune Miku Project Diva Dreamy Theater Estimated Difficulty: 8/10 Progress: 0% Yes, I know. I have no trophies in it. I've wanted to get to this one for quite a while now, even going so far as to rebuy a PSP just to be able to access the game. The main concern with the 100% is that one has to Perfect every song in the game. For the most part, this isn't too bad since the charts are mostly simple, though the Hard variants of Disappearance and the Christmas song are known for being difficult, mainly since unlike every other Project Diva game after it, you can't use the d-pad to hit notes, making the jack-heavy Disappearance and the piano solo to the Christmas much more frustrating than they have any right to be. DJMax Respect - 100% Estimated Difficulty: 10/10 Progress: 96% Willing to Help for Online On one hand, this one's almost cheating because of how little I have left in it, but at the same time, what I do have left is so ridiculous that there is a good chance I won't even have it done by the event's end even though I play this game constantly. For reference, the trophy for equipping the Metro Project plate ("DJMax Will Return" from the Link Disc DLC) requires you to clear every mission in the Link Disc set to unlock the plate, which is a tall order when the game throws shit like this at you... Spoiler To make a long story short, assuming I can even get good enough to do this, it will be the best thing to embrace my profile by far, and God knows I'm gonna try. Blazblue: Calamity Trigger Estimated Difficulty: 6/10 Progress: 37% ONLINE REQUIRED While I'm aware that this is considered one of the easier plats in the series, fighting games are not quite my forte (to put it lightly), so having this plat in my collection would be quite the feat for me. Kung-Fu Panda 2 Estimated Difficulty: 1/10 Progress: 26% (Technically 0% for reasons I am about to get to) This one is... different from pretty much most if not all games that are gonna show up on this thread. The actual game itself is easy as hell, but the real issue is that it is by far one of the worst games I have ever played, with the game being more than willing to lock you out of future levels for no reason (the first reason I had to start over) or even just outright let collectables physics themselves to where you couldn't possibly reach them (every other reason I had to start over, usually at the very beginning). Combine that with the game having literal hundreds of collectables and this is gonna be one hell of a bad time that, while physically non-challenging by every measure, will more than likely take a large toll on my patience. Little Busters!: Converted Edition (PS3) Estimated Difficulty: 4/10 Progress: 69% (heh) Despite being a visual novel, this plat is actually a fairly annoying one for the genre, requiring either good knowledge of Japanese or, the route that I'm gonna take, extensive guide usage and some phone app translations. Of particular note is one trophy requiring you to have Rin defeat all three life-forms, which is done through a pseudo-RPG setup where you trade with characters for equipment through the story and then have to take on an enemy, save scumming until the game decides that you win (assuming you have the proper equipment to stand a chance). There's also a minigame where you have to make lunches and you have to do 45 of them in one minute for a trophy. Since I'm using the PS3 version, I can't back out to the LiveArea to create time for myself like I could on the Vita, so there will be some annoyance in getting that done as well. 8. @Leon Castle 2/46 Spoiler Sword Art Online Re: Hollow Fragment Progress: 92% Currently running a Let`s play for the series. it's the most grindiest of the series. Sword Art Online: Hollow Fragment Progress: 11% Since I lost my PS4 save for some reasons I don't know, I'm going to get what I need from this version before I try to plat the PS4 version again. Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Z Progress: 21% Of all the Dragon Ball games, I hate this one, I`am still going to plat it one way or the other. Injustice: Gods Among Us Ultimate Edition Progress: 58% The Game even the Trophy Advisor advices me to save for last and I get why. 9. @Edunstar84 0/10 Spoiler Mugen Souls Z - 24% - It's only been on my list for a year. It's a difficult game, but not as difficult as the original so I feel I can get this done. KYC 2017 game Tales of Zestiria - 24% - Not a hard game, per se, but the weapon system is just so bad. I really hope to get this done within the year. KYC game Uncharted 2 - 11% - I know a lot of people love the series, but it didn't gel with me at the start. For me, it was just too much fighting/shooting, which I wasn't used to. Probably still not used to. I'm currently playing Tomb Raider, which I prefer, but it's been 5 whole years, and I would love to slay this off my backlog. Sword Art Online: Hollow Fragment - 34% - Not hard, just super grindy...I think. I'm pretty sure I'm making it more hard than it should be. Ragnarok Odyssey Ace - 7% - I must love grindy games, right? Part of the monster hunter project platinum. KYC 2017 game Muramasa Rebirth - 10% - This is an amazingly great game, but difficult due to the no death boss run I'd have to do. KYC 2017 game Tales of Symphonia - 4% - Another grindy game that I would like to be done with. My sister recently completed it, so it shouldn't be too bad to do. I also want to finish this before Tales of Vesperia releases in December. Was a KYC 2017 game Star Ocean: Integrity & Faithlessness - 33% - Why do I like grindy JRPGs? KYC 2017 game The Awakened Fate Ultimatum - 11% - Going back to the PS3 is never easy, especially with my PS4 and PS Vita backlog. Dragon Quest Builders - 3% - Putting this in here, so it'll seem that I can accomplish something. Everybody's Gol......Nope! I think I've surpassed my limit enough. 10. @LilFlower85 0/6 Spoiler 1.Final Fantasy XIII Started in 2016 Platinum rarity 8,48% Current progress 28% 2.Rune Factory Oceans Started in 2016 Platinum rarity 9,74% Current progress 13% 3.Atelier Rorona Started in 2016 Platinum rarity 6,49% Current progress 50% 4.Atelier Totori Started in 2016 Platinum rarity 12,08% Current progress 7% 5.The With an the Hundred Knight Started in 2016 Platinum rarity 11,11% Current progress 28% 6.Persona 4 Arena Started in 2016 Platinum rarity 0,37 Current progress 1% I have little hope for that one, as i am particularly bad at fighting games, but i'll do my best for the love of Persona 11. @willythom88 0/7 Spoiler 1. Hob (5.39) - only recently discovered this one's not that bad but it's not very popular so the percentage reflects that. 2.Anima Gates of Memories (5.30) - pretty much the second issue. 3.Devil May Cry 4 (2.58) - Ok so now well start getting into the actually hard stuff. Between the multiple playthroughs and the difficulty issues, this one will be lots of fun to get sick of. 4.N++ (1.59 ) - ton of fun here. Lot of levels and lit of replaying. 5.Star Ocean The Last Hope (.90) - Doing the PS3 version. 6.I am Bread ( .27) - Hey as long as I'm being unrealistic! 7. Disgaea 4: A Promise Revisted(1.72)- Another really long grindy one. 12. @ladynadiad 0/5 Spoiler 1. Zuma - I only have the trophy to beat a level in 8 seconds or less left, but the best I've done is 9 seconds. It's actually a very hard 100% 2. Sparkle Unleashed - This game has only 0.33% completion and it is because of the one trophy I have left. Nightmare difficulty in this game is about 90% luck, 10% skill. I've gotten to the 46th level out of about 110 so far and I've been whittling away at this off and on since 2015. 3. Muramasa Rebirth - I only have speed runs and fury runs left. Fury gives 1 HP so you have to do bosses with no hits. Needless to say I've not gotten very far in this. 4. htoL#NiQ - The Firefly Diary - Some of the trophies I have left are very frustrating for a little point and click game. Awkward controls is a big part of the difficulty. Also because of its need for a guide for nearly anything and being on Vita which I tend to play where I can't access guides, it often ends up on the backburner. 5. God of War (PS3) - Normally I'm good at action RPGs, but seriously God of War is just so terrible and has hideous controls. I'm terrible at this game and have the challenges and speed run left and have so little patience for this game and playing it just reminds me that there are way better things I could be playing but that high percentage B rank is driving me nuts. 13. @Surge3Beast 1/5 Spoiler Batman: Arkham City (38%) - No online / First trophy: July 16, 2014 Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 (88%) - Online optional / First trophy: July 18, 2011 Rogue Legacy (12%) - No online / First trophy: July 29, 2014 Shadow Complex Remastered (62%) - No online / First trophy: May 13, 2017 Thumper (32%) - No online / First trophy: June 18, 2017 14. @ExHaseo 0/3 Spoiler Final Fantasy X-2 (33%) - I really like this game, and I've wanted to do this one for a while, but I absolutely hate sphere break, and have to do it for the Lady Luck Dressphere. I'm going to finally push through it, so I can finally say that I've gotten 100% and do all of the things I've never done. Muramasa Rebirth (80%) - I'm not sure if this really counts, because I already have the plat, but I want to put it on here anyway because I want 100%. I've been putting it off forever, because I was afraid to do Fury mode with all of the DLC characters. But I did it with the main two, and had fun doing it, so I think it's time to give it a try. Soul Sacrifice (81%) - I've been stuck on the same mission forever. I'm going to grind out some levels, and try it again though. 15. @Xillia 2/5 Spoiler 1. Tales of Innocence R / テイルズ オブ イノセンス R (8%) Rarity: 11.51% Rare The last Tales of plat to complete my collection. I imported it a while ago but I've been putting it off until I felt more comfortable with my Japanese. Now is the time! There's no trophy guides written for it but I should be able to get the plat without one. Might write it myself if it's not going to be too much of a pain in the butt. 2. Toukiden: Kiwami (50%) Rarity: 2.04% Ultra Rare I really like this game and I already have around 120 hours in it. I was playing it with my bf but we stopped shortly after completing the story. He's not into trophies so I have to do the rest of the grind on my own and I just haven't felt like it. Some of the trophies are pretty daunting but I'm sure once I start playing again I won't be able to put it down. 3. Bioshock (7%) Rarity: 15.80% Rare I got frustrated with this one because my spatial awareness is garbage and I get lost quickly without a mini map or a radar. Like, I walk into a room, shoot some baddies, and by the time I'm done I forget where I came from. On top of that I found it very unnatural to aim/shoot with a controller. So I was super flustered and I haven't played it since. I want to complete it though since it's my boyfriend's favourite series and I promised it would. 4. LittleBigPlanet 3 (23%) Rarity: 2.17% Ultra Rare Another one that I played with friends but haven't continued since completing the story. I didn't even get the story trophies or the one for playing every level with another player because I wasn't Player 1 when we played. I'm not into platformers at all and I'm bad at them too, I'll be impressed with myself if I actually manage to ace every level. 5. Dragon Age: Inquisition (34%) Rarity: 6.86% Very Rare Has it ever happened to you that you really liked one game, but then you realized you were nearing the end and just stopped playing it because you didn't want it to be over? This is my game. I'm not even far into the story, I spent most of my time doing side quests and it hit me when I found the 8th dragon. Hopefully I'll actually complete this game one day. 16. @KawaiiSlowpoke 0/5 Spoiler 1) Ni no Kuni (PS3) - 2% Complete lol It's funny because I got this on PS Now when I get my PS4 so I'm assuming the save will still transfer over to a physical copy on my PS3 if I'm still using the same account...if not that's fine not the end of the world. I feel like I had at least 10 hours on the game but I only have 2 tropheis so now I'm questioning that LOL 2) Stardew Valley (PS4/Vita) - 21% Complete One of my favorite games! Really want to get around to trying to platinum it to prove my love for the game! I have it on 3 systems now. I remember following the game's development for 5 years before it came out. I remember watching the countdown on Steam before it came out. Unfortunately I was never able to support the dev during the process since I was in middle school and HS since NO JOB. It came out the year I graduated I believe so I finally was able to buy it. I think on all my systems I collectively have like 200 hours on the game... 3) Gravity Rush Remastered (PS4) - 38% Complete A relatively easily plat from the looks of it. I just really want to beat this game! I got it for PS4 since I didn't have the vita so I will be playing the PS4 remastered version. Seems like it'd be a lot more fun on the vita though! (As of now not doing DLC...though I think its easy lol) 4) Kingdom Hearts (PS4) - 21% Complete I feel like this will be a toughy for me for some reason. I'm not sure why it just seems the scariest to me LOL (also I have yet to beat any KH game so....woops) 5) Persona 5 (PS4) - 27% Complete Really wanna get this game completed and platinum'd! The only persona I have yet to actually beat. Reminds me to pick up the other ones on my Vita later...(1 & 2) 17. @malachi1987 0/10 Spoiler 1. Mortal kombat 9 - (46/51) my kung fu is stronger and ladder master can go to hell lol. 2. Dragon age inquisition-(2/51) stupid nightmare mode or do long play thrus 3. The witcher 3 - (1/53) stupid death March or do 2 long playthrus 4. Batman Arkham knight- (4/65) depending on challenge rooms and new game plus 5. Dokuro -(5/31) sometimes platformers get the best of ya 6. Watch dogs 1 - (29/40) damn drinking games 7. Call of duty modern warfare 2 - (40/51) damn missions and running the training course 8. Sound shapes -(79/89) I hate the death mode levels that are left and want to throw my controller 9. Rise of the tomb raider -(54/60) damn challenge maps. 10. Puyo puyo tetris- (4/43) bad at adventure mode 18. @DragonQuest238 1/7 Spoiler (1) Persona 4 Golden I can get this online for cheap, or even cheaper if the GameStop still has a physical copy for $20. I really enjoyed the gameplay and, since I don't like unskippable cutscenes, this game delivers on being the perfect speedrun game because you can just fast-forward through all of the long cutscenes but not fast enough to enjoy it if you want. Also, my favorite Persona dungeon is Void Quest because it reminds me of the old NES RPGs like Dragon Warrior/Quest. The only thing that ruined it for me was this b**** of a trophy, even though I was told again and again here in my old accounts that this was not bad. 2018-2019 will be the year I finally prove I am indeed a Hardcore Risette Fan because I got everything else the second time I attempted this game. (To be fair, if I ever want to get a girlfriend, they have to impress me by cosplaying as Rise at the earliest con. That or Yukimaru from Disgaea 2, and they have to end their words with 'zam.' ) (Actually, my Persona 4 waifu is actually Naoto Shirogane because she's a detective. I have a thing for femme-gumshoes because I read a lot of murder mysteries. Involving cats. No, that doesn't mean I care about Persona 5. Sorry, Morgana. ) (2) Shantae Half-Genie Hero I can get the platinum easily, but the reason this is on the list is because I am going to do the DLC as well because I hate leaving a platinum at 46%. That means doing the dreaded Friends to the End DLC, which is going to make me rage quit a lot. Give me all your energy, Shantae, so I can beat your Nega Shantae form with your stupid friends! (Except Skye, she's super cool and I would totally have married her despite her father's tendencies to... uhm... kill her boyfriends by his stupidity.) (3) Yooka-Laylee I love this game. It makes me cry that Sony didn't get their foot in the door with Rare and steal them from Microsoft so that Banjo-Kazooie and Banjo-Tooie would have trophy support. Still, some of the pagies are so frustrating to earn. I'm talking about Rextro, I hate his digital butt. But I don't want him or Kartos (f*** the Cashino) to ruin my enjoyment of this game's aspects so I am going to finally get the plat for this game EVEN IF I DIE DOING IT. (4) Disgaea 3: Absence of Detention I was going to do Absence of Justice which is way harder because I am getting a used PS3, but then remembered that I won't get that PS3 until the 11th because my parents will be out of town and they are my main transport. (I could use Uber but I am getting paid to tend their mutts and I want to use all those cash bonuses I will get afterwards to pay for the PS3, not spend bank money on it.) So I am going to plat the Vita version of Disgaea 3. Not that it's worse but I'm going to drain most of the event on those stupid Item World and Class World survival challenges. (5) Unravel I have this on another library, I just need to download it. The Yarny aspects are probably going to strangle me, but it's supposed to be a short game and the whole "yarn memories" thing is intriguing. Also, because Unravel 2's demo came out at E3, I should at least support the devs. (6) Catlateral Damage Gawrsh, I hate this game. I hate this game so much. So many stupid trophies, I don't want to play this game ever again, but it's about cats, and I love cats... even if the ones on this title look like polygon blobs of unholy abominations. (7) Kingdom Hearts re:Chain of Memories (1.5+2.5 Remix) Well, I have all of the other games on my Backlog Pyramid, this game needs some care too, even if it's said to be the black sheep of the series trophy-wise. Yep, I'm going to be whacking them pumpkins in Rabbit's house until I get 16,000 points, so help me Lugia! 19. @Arctic Cress 1/8 Spoiler 1. Hot Shots Golf: World Invitational (PS3) (Platinum rarity 1.28%, 21% completed) AND2. Hot Shots Golf: World Invitational (Vita) (Platinum rarity 2.00%, 65% completed) Online Necessary: Servers are closed. Last year I got the Everybody's Golf platinum for the PS4. It was VR at the time but has quickly degraded and is now firmly in UR territory at 4.63%. Since the servers were closing for both versions I did the one necessary trophy for the PS3 version and while playing that recently, I got one of the trophies that had, at the time, eluded me the entire time I played the Vita version of the game (one of the trick shot trophies). Since I had to do many of those to get the trophies in the PS4 version I think I can apply what I did previously to these and finally finish them off for good. 3. Tricky Towers (Platinum rarity 1.10%, 51% completed) Online Necessary: Yes I have 49/50 of the trials completed. Every time I try Trial #50 I have not been able to get anything going due to the randomness of the obstacles the game keeps imposing on you. Not to mention that the hardest trophy wants you to complete it without losing a life. Then there's the 99 bricks challenge again with only one life, and the speed precision trophy. Most of the lower rarity trophies are just multiplayer stuff I haven't bothered to get, I did a few of them with a friend earlier but he doesn't really play this game that much. 4. Geometry Wars 3: Dimensions Evolved (Platinum rarity 1.18%, 59% completed) Online Necessary: No Again with the above example, I have 49/50 of the missions completed and have struggled many times to beat the final boss and have only gotten to the final part of it once. The boss has seven phases to get through with only one life (again) and while I can pass the first four phases very easily it's usually the 5th or 6th phase that kills me. That doesn't even count the Retro trophy which involves getting 10 million points on one of the classic stages again without losing a life, probably the hardest trophy in the game. 5. Taiko no Tatsujin: V Version (Platinum rarity 20.01%, 96% completed) Online Necessary: No A high platinum rate and completion amount. However, I've had a lot of problems trying to complete the 25 Oni songs required for the platinum, which is also the last trophy I need here. I was at 13/25 last I checked, and that includes the trick that the guide over at the other site recommended. I think I jumped too quickly into Oni mode and might need to practice the earlier difficulties before I go back in there again. 6. Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA X (Platinum rarity 5.77%, 91% completed) Online Necessary: No Just one cloud request left, and if you've played the game you know which one is left. I did the 200k one without too much of a problem but 211k has been out of reach for quite some time now and the triple effects certainly don't help matters. 7. Croixleur Sigma (Platinum rarity 7.69%, 45% completed) Online Necessary: No I really liked playing this game, but I became stuck because I couldn't beat the second character's story mode in under ten minutes. It was easy enough to do it with the first character, but the second one has more enemies to beat on her mode and it takes much longer than what is needed for the trophy, and finishing that would finally unlock the extra mode so I could actually see how the game finally ends, as well as the additional challenge mode themes to finish those off. 8. DJMAX Respect (Platinum rarity 3.41%, 41% completed) Online Necessary: Yes Not going for the DLC in this one, took one look at the video Walt posted earlier and I'm definitely not going through that mess. I have improved a lot from when I started this game and could barely pass some 3* tracks in 4B mode, though I still have a lot of work to do to complete 30 tracks over 10* with a max combo. The highest star rating I've gotten a max combo on is a 7* I think. While most of the trophies I'll get just while I continue playing, the really challenging ones like the above example and clearing 50 missions will be the real test. 20. @Giulian_Steel 2/12 Spoiler 1. Final Fantasy XIII (8.47) Last Played: June 2014 25/36 (55%) Borrowed from a friend, who, i believe, was in a clear attempt of getting rid of it. After mastering the roles, i was tired and extremely inclined to return the game rather than anything else. It’s been ages, time to come back. 2. Dead Rising 2: Off The Record (3.12) Last Played: June 2015 18/51 (26%) Never got fully along with the gameplay, which almost gave me a heart attack back in the day, so it’s the perfect title for this event, because i wouldn’t be playing otherwise. 3. Disgaea 3: Absence of Justice (3.08) Last Played: December 2015 2/51 (2%) Big fan of the series, did everything possible in D2, and D3 was one of the titles i had in mind when i bought the console. High prices made me wait quite a deal to play, so when i got it i immediately went for it without thinking much ahead. I was super busy that time of year and eventually dropped. Anxious to return. 4. Dark Souls II (15.64) Last Played: February 2016 29/38 (71%) Doesn’t get much love, but is my final hurdle to finish the Souls business on PS3. It cost me a teeth (long story), so it can’t get more personal. If i jumped right into NG+ i believe i had the platinum soon after, but i decided to cleanup when things were easier, then Vendrick and the lack of Humanity to face Darklurker got in the way. 5. Batman: Arkham Asylum (9.71) Last Played: August 2016 35/48 (68%) Including this, so i can get back on track on the Hard run, and be fully prepared for the challenges. Enjoyed the series so much and want the platinum to at least one of them. 6. Prince of Persia: Warrior Within (12.74) Last Played: October 2016 15/20 (70%) Two years is enough to lift the veil of rage, i think. Sand Wraith glitch in my Hard run and save corruption on Easy, enough reasons to overlook this forever. But... Let’s give another go, you know. 7. Catherine (2.19) Last Played: October 2016 3/50 (4%) Same as Disgaea, didn’t had the proper time to focus. I liked what i saw. 8. Legend of Kay Anniversary (9.73) Last Played: December 2016 21/26 (75%) Played the original to exhaustion. So it puzzled the hell out of me when i was getting mauled to death repeatedly on Nightmare difficulty. Time to recover the skill of the Ps2 days and Surpass My Limits. 9. Mass Effect (6.82) Last Played: May 2017 23/47 (55%) Another good one for the event. Amazing title, but the pace and long loadings are a mood killer in the long run. Final push incoming. 10. Star Ocean: The Last Hope -International- (0.90) Last Played: March 2018 31/47 (54%) My initial plan was to play this without long breaks. Then the brutal nature of some BTs started to show. You blink, and done, five months since last trophy, it happens with the best of us. Still enjoyable, and i have no problem with grinding issues. Only a question of time. 11. Tales of Symphonia (2.65) Last Played: June 2018 27/40 (54%) One of my all time favorites. I’m currently at NG+ (still a long way to go), in a Title matter, the only difficult one standing is the infamous Gung Ho, aside from that is just affection value manipulation for everything until the very end. 12. LittleBigPlanet 2 (3.52) Last Played: July 2018 35/47 (57%) Very time consuming, but i’m pushing through because LBP3 is sitting on my backlog with no trophies earned. Just like the first, the community aspect presents a challenge quite like acing levels. It’ll be nice fitting this between the others in this list. 21. @DRMOGUERA 0/10 Spoiler 1. Devil May Cry 4 SE Rating: 5/5 I've been working on the series this past month or so after getting really hyped for the DMC5 announcement. The first three aren't really that bad and I finished them without much issue, but DMC4 wants you to do basically everything: Bloody Palace with everyone (and doing Bloody Palace well in some cases, like getting an S rank or beating Dante at the end with no damage), all S ranks for all missions in all modes, stuff like that. Even as someone who generally loves these games I think it will be a challenge and definitely a grind. 2. Nights into Dreams Rating: 3/5 I actually have one trophy to get here, but it requires getting A ranks in all the stages. I've always wanted to get really good at Nights so I figure now is as good of a time as any. Maybe it won't be so bad? But I've certainly never A ranked anything past the first level in my previous playthroughs. 3. Crazy Taxi Rating: 2/5 Really I kinda just wanna knock out as many old Sega games as I can, haha. Apparently this one isn't supposed to be too bad if you can get a hang of the drifting and its more advanced mechanics. It's just in my experience, getting a hang of the drifting is really hard! And so are some of the advanced things! But maybe I can surpass my limits and activate Ultra Driftstinct. 4. Rez Infinite Rating: 2/5 I love Rez and actually did all the achievements on the 360 version a long time ago. The PS4 list is pretty similar, but it's definitely a fairly challenging grind and I've forgotten a lot since then. Plus there's now an entirely new level that I know basically nothing about with its own trophy stuff tied to it. 5. Tales of Symphonia Rating: 4/5 This is one I don't think will be hard in terms of like skill level so much as a long and potentially tedious journey. I've read that this one takes lots of playthroughs and lots of keeping track of stuff across all of them. But I really loved this game growing up so I'd like to 100% it! We'll see! 6. Downwell Rating: 4/5 This is a really cool indie game that I fell in love with a few years ago. I wanted to finish it on hard mode but it was just too hard! There's some randomness to it as well in terms of the weapons and upgrades you get, but I think for the most part it will really boil down to gitting gud. Would really like to do this but who knows if luck is on my side. 7. Metal Gear Solid 2 Rating: 4/5 My favorite Metal Gear game, I've always wanted to do everything it has to offer. But I already know it will be a challenge: getting all the dog tags requires taking out virtually every guard in every difficulty, the VR missions are no slouch, and I'm pretty sure I have to do that Metal Gear Ray fight on Extreme and that won't be a fun time. 8. Spider-Man Shattered Dimensions Rating: 1/5 Maybe this one isn't so bad? I definitely never really heard anyone say its hard and the rarity on the site isn't too impressive. But for some reason I remember there being a lot of annoying stuff tied to like how the stages rank you. And I think there's lots of collectibles and stuff. It mostly just annoys me that this is the only Spider-Man thing I don't have a platinum for and I'd like to knock it out before the new PS4 one so maybe I'll move it up. 9. Sonic Unleashed Rating: 5/5 Kind of the same deal as Spidey on this one. I'm pretty sure this is the only real Sonic game I don't have 100% on so I'd like to finish it. This one I know is rough though, from all the collectibles and grinding to having to speedrun the hour-long last stage without dying 3 times. Plus the PS3 port is kind of crappy and likes to freeze and drop frames so that's cool. 10. Street Fighter V Rating: 5/5 Haha, we'll see about this one. It's mostly one of those long running goals I don't know if I'll ever meet. I play it off and on all the time so this one is kind of out of the order continuity. Technically I don't have much to do. If I reach gold league in the rankings then the platinum is basically assured since I just have to grind out some ranked wins and super finishes (assuming I don't get them on the way). But having enough good ranked matches consecutively to make my way to gold league will be a challenge, requiring lots of grinding and heartbreak. Maybe someday! 22. @Alternatewarning 0/2 Spoiler 1. Kingdom Hearts Birth By Sleep Guide Difficulty - 7/10 Personal Difficulty - 9/10 Online Necessary - No Scariest Trophy - Time's Teller / The Adventurer: Terra This boss. I'm pretty close to finishing this game and I've done most of the "annoying" parts. All I have left is some decently easy cleanup and one boss (3 times). I faced Unknown Figure so many times and lost. So I shelved the game. But I'm SO CLOSE. So I want to keep trying and beat him. I'm worried, though, since I have to beat him three times... 2. Beyond: Two Souls Guide Difficulty - 3/10 Personal Difficulty - 3/10 Online Necessary - No Scariest Trophy - None This game I just...haven't gotten back too. I also don't own it, I played my friends copy so hopefully I see her within this year so we can clean up the trophies together. 23. @Yomako01 1/5 Spoiler Final Fantasy X-2 HD Remaster Current: 25% Goal: 100% Online?: No There was a time I completed this 100%, albiet back in the PS2 era. Was one of my least favourite FFs, due to tonal disjoint from FFX, but still a fun game. Dissidia Final Fantasy NT Current: 0% Goal: 100% Online?: Yes I loved the original DFF and DFF 012, but I have been off put on this title, as It is heavy on online play. Atelier Meruru: The Apprentice of Arland Current: 1% Goal: 100% Online?: No Atelier Meruru Plus: The Apprentice of Arland Current: 1% Goal: 100% Online?: No It's a game I never got around to completing. Hyperdimension Neptunia: Producing Perfection Current: 51% Goal: 100% Online?: No When my laptop died, it took my spreadsheet of dialogue options. 24. @Tigerhull92 0/6 Spoiler Destiny (79%) i want to 100% and not just platinum and that means doing the two dlc raids on hard. Getting a fireteam is a struggle but it’s a goal! CoD: WW2 (33%) Again I want to 100% but the problem is zombies! I’m not very good and again it’s difficult to find a team that can help me through. Fifa 15 (98%) percentage may seem high but the score from the ground trophy is ridiculous, I aim to finally get that luck based trophy and delete this game forever! The Witched 3 (9%) Certainly feel it’s doable looking at the percentages but I just have never been able to get into the game. I find the combat really tricky (I’m up to Skellige and deathmarch though and I hear it gets easier). GTA V (52%) Again Id like to 100% but getting to level 100, the platinum awards and all of the heists seem a world away. Bloodborne (30%) im struggling with the dlc (which I want to finish before the main story), having just done God of War though I’m hoping to be back into the dodgingand parrying that I’ll need to get through! 25. @zajac9999 0/15 Spoiler 1 - Ninja Gaiden Sigma Plus - 1.23% 2 - Trials Fusion - 0.18% 3 - Sorcery Saga: Curse of the Great Curry God - 3.21% 4 - Stardew Valley - 0.65% 5 - Mortal Kombat - 0.62% 6 - Dead or Alive 5 - 0.51% 7 - Cloudberry Kingdom - 0.08% 8 - Nuclear Throne 0.29% 9 - El Shaddai: Ascension of the Metatron - 2.57% 10 - Retro/Grade - 0.32% 11 - BattleFantasia - 0.54% 12 - Blazblue:CSE - 2.99% 13 - Child of Eden - 0.88% 14 - Guided Fate Paradox - 1.70% 15 - Dragon Ball: Raging Blast - 1.25% Now, your list doesn't need to be nearly as fleshed out as mine, but I do recommend the online necessary category so that people can get together with each other who're playing the same games. Based on interest, I'll add a spreadsheet for everyone to keep track of their progress. I may even make a stellar badge for those who are able to SURPASS THEIR LIMITS with at least five plats (using the honors system that the games were actually challenging on a personal level). And a challenge thread wouldn't be complete without some epic buildup music, so here you go: Spoiler Special thanks to @Psy-Tychist for taking over the Statistics page! The Insult Simulator - 97% - 14 July 2018 Tales of Xillia 2 - 42% - 11 September 2017 Yomawari: Night Alone - 17% - 26 December 2016 Despite that The Insult Simulator had it's most recent trophy popped recently, the last one is going to be so dependent on the RNG gods... might take forever -_-;
kingofbattle8174
You know im in as I continue the long climb to slowly drag my completion rate out of the dregs. It was pretty bad, i started off at under 20%. My goal was to get to 50% by the end of the year, I am not far off from that now. By next year I don't think the high 70's is impossible. I do need to start knocking out some of these more difficult or time consuming titles though. This event will be a good start. 1: Diablo III 1% 1st trophy: 22 AUG 2015 I know I did say I wasn't going to do my pyramid games but this game will be a proud achievement when I knock it off the list. It was a library game to begin with. I now finally bought it from Gamestop a few weeks ago to get it complete. It is an amazing game just time consuming or life consuming not sure which. 2. Mad Max : 11% 1st Trophy 9 NOV 2015 A really good game just huge. I want to go back and get it all done. 3: Bully: 1% 1st Trophy: March 26 2016 One of my all time favorite games. I 100% it on 360 some years ago. It is time to go back to school. 4: Star Wars Battlefront: 37% 1st Trophy: 11 DEC 2015 I do not play a lot of multiplayer. Just not my skill range but for Star Wars I made an exception. I have slowly over time whittled away at it. I have neglected it for some time now. I know I need to get back into it before the community dries up. 5. Neverwinter::1% 1st Trophy: July 16 2016 I plan to start from scratch on this game on the 1st of 2019 and be complete by the end of the year. I know it is a tall order. I hope I can get mostly there with my sanity and marriage intact. Edited July 18, 2018 by kingofbattle8174

I wanted to play some other things and just never got back to it. Didn't help that I also misplaced my Vita for a couple months at the beginning of the year. For Yomawari.... my Vita memory card got corrupted and I didn't have the save uploaded anywhere. Wasn't really wanting to start from scratch on it because I did have a moderately difficult time (particularly the chapter I had just finished). Edit-- I'm at the same part you are in the sewers. dmland12
This sounds good. I'm in. I remember last year I joined an event of yours (something about rare trophies) as motivation to plat a couple tough games (I Am Bread and Downwell). Right now, I've got 6 tough games sitting on my list that I could use some extra motivation on. It'll be nice to procrastinate for have a whole year too. Here's my list with current platinum rarity in (). Atari Flashback Classics vol.2 (0.46%) Reus (0.58%) Lichtspeer (0.80%) Trackmania Turbo (0.81%) Forced (1.39%) Furi (1.55%) I've got other stuff I want to go back to and platinum, but these are the ones I'm worried about.
Popular Post Mesopithecus
1. No Man's Sky I just have the DLC left to do in this, including the dreaded Pema-Death trophy. There is another new patch coming out on 24th July with actual multiplayer Whether this makes the game easier or not remains to be seen. I'm expecting new trophies though and it will be a good excuse to revisit this game. 2. Final Fantasy XV Played twice and then forever at the bottom of my incomplete games. Now they have added a load of DLC I heard it's improved the game, but still....all that DLC (I still need to buy the Royal DLC Pack) 3. Final Fantasy X HD Another one in the dark and murky depths of my backlog. Would rather do a no sphere grid fight against Penance than do the Lightning Dancer and Chocobo Rider trophies 4. Trine Enchanted Edition An easy platinum for some, but for me....a bit more of a personal challenge as I am absolutely terrible at platformers Now for my Ultimate Challenge 5. Stardew Valley Currently sitting at 70% completion, this chilled out farming game has two trophies that require some "getting good" on my part (and it will probably take me a year of practice to do so) The trophies both relate to Journey of the Prairie King, one for completing it and one for completing it without dying. Should be easy....right? Well I have made it to the last set of stages once. As far as I know, there are no glitches or exploits to make it easier Edited July 18, 2018 by Mesopithecus
Sardavanua
I sign up with 4 games and those 4 are more than enough to beat within the 1 year period. Title - Rarity - My current completion / Online Necessary Darkest Dungeon - 0.60% - 28% / No Difficulty: 9/10 This game is without a doubt the most difficult game on my list. While Darkest Dungeon's sheer difficulty is alot of fun and really well designed, it's trophies on the other hand are quite the opposite of enjoyment. Combining the base game with it's DLC Crimson Court is incredibly frustrating due to it's new negative perk it introduces. I might replace the game tho if it get's new trophies with the upcoming DLC, because I'm pretty sure the rarity would drop by at least 0,3%. Furi - 1.55% - 34% / No Difficulty: 8/10 It's a well known challenge due to it's Ps Plus release and therefore most people know how difficult this game is. I for myself really enjoyed it so far and the Carpenter Brut OST was a pleasent suprise. I remember failing alot at the Sniper fight and because of that never returned to it, so let's see how it goes this time. Those S-Ranks won't be easily achieved, that's for sure. The Technomancer - 3.83% - 4% / No Difficulty: 6/10 The rarity and overall low completion ratio of The Technomancer has only one reason: It's a crap game with an even crappier trophy list. So what do we have here: Missable Sidequest? Check. Relationship trophies? Check. Difficulty related trophies? Check. Class speficic trophies? Check. Points of no return? 5 of 'em, Check. Time limited quests? Check. Different Endings? Check. Faction related trophies? Check. Hallelujah, we're in for ride. Besides that the game is a technichal mess, has one of the worst hitbox system I've ever seen on PS4 and is lame af. It's like a worse version of Bound by Flame. Torment: Tides of Numenera - 1.70% - 7% / No Difficulty: -/- IMO varies from 3/10 to 10/10. Depends on experience and knowledge. I'm looking forward to this one. A truly unique game and it's also my favorite game genre. The difficulty is hard to estimate, it's a matter of experience with these kind of games. Multiple playthroughs are required and even then planning is required. I guess you could technically get all of them in one playtrough but you'd have to butcher the game into alot of hard saves and therefore spoil all the fun and magic of this game. Walt the Dog
I'd like to join this. Hatsune Miku Project Diva Dreamy Theater Estimated Difficulty: 8/10 Progress: 0% Yes, I know. I have no trophies in it. I've wanted to get to this one for quite a while now, even going so far as to rebuy a PSP just to be able to access the game. The main concern with the 100% is that one has to Perfect every song in the game. For the most part, this isn't too bad since the charts are mostly simple, though the Hard variants of Disappearance and the Christmas song are known for being difficult, mainly since unlike every other Project Diva game after it, you can't use the d-pad to hit notes, making the jack-heavy Disappearance and the piano solo to the Christmas much more frustrating than they have any right to be. DJMax Respect - 100% Estimated Difficulty: 10/10 Progress: 95% Willing to Help for Online On one hand, this one's almost cheating because of how little I have left in it, but at the same time, what I do have left is so ridiculous that there is a good chance I won't even have it done by the event's end even though I play this game constantly. For reference, the trophy for equipping the Metro Project plate ("DJMax Will Return" from the Link Disc DLC) requires you to clear every mission in the Link Disc set to unlock the plate, which is a tall order when the game throws shit like this at you... To make a long story short, assuming I can even get good enough to do this, it will be the best thing to embrace my profile by far, and God knows I'm gonna try. Blazblue: Calamity Trigger Estimated Difficulty: 6/10 Progress: 37% ONLINE REQUIRED While I'm aware that this is considered one of the easier plats in the series, fighting games are not quite my forte (to put it lightly), so having this plat in my collection would be quite the feat for me. Kung-Fu Panda 2 Estimated Difficulty: 1/10 Progress: 26% (Technically 0% for reasons I am about to get to) This one is... different from pretty much most if not all games that are gonna show up on this thread. The actual game itself is easy as hell, but the real issue is that it is by far one of the worst games I have ever played, with the game being more than willing to lock you out of future levels for no reason (the first reason I had to start over) or even just outright let collectables physics themselves to where you couldn't possibly reach them (every other reason I had to start over, usually at the very beginning). Combine that with the game having literal hundreds of collectables and this is gonna be one hell of a bad time that, while physically non-challenging by every measure, will more than likely take a large toll on my patience. Little Busters!: Converted Edition (PS3) Estimated Difficulty: 4/10 Progress: 69% (heh) Despite being a visual novel, this plat is actually a fairly annoying one for the genre, requiring either good knowledge of Japanese or, the route that I'm gonna take, extensive guide usage and some phone app translations. Of particular note is one trophy requiring you to have Rin defeat all three life-forms, which is done through a pseudo-RPG setup where you trade with characters for equipment through the story and then have to take on an enemy, save scumming until the game decides that you win (assuming you have the proper equipment to stand a chance). There's also a minigame where you have to make lunches and you have to do 45 of them in one minute for a trophy. Since I'm using the PS3 version, I can't back out to the LiveArea to create time for myself like I could on the Vita, so there will be some annoyance in getting that done as well. Popular Post Edunstar84
I'm going to throw caution to the wind and say that I'll join! Most of the games are from joining in on the Kill Your Completion. Here's my list: Mugen Souls Z - 24% - It's only been on my list for a year. It's a difficult game, but not as difficult as the original so I feel I can get this done. KYC 2017 game Tales of Zestiria - 24% - Not a hard game, per se, but the weapon system is just so bad. I really hope to get this done within the year. KYC game Uncharted 2 - 11% - I know a lot of people love the series, but it didn't gel with me at the start. For me, it was just too much fighting/shooting, which I wasn't used to. Probably still not used to. I'm currently playing Tomb Raider, which I prefer, but it's been 5 whole years, and I would love to slay this off my backlog. Sword Art Online: Hollow Fragment - 34% - Not hard, just super grindy...I think. I'm pretty sure I'm making it more hard than it should be. Ragnarok Odyssey Ace - 7% - I must love grindy games, right? Part of the monster hunter project platinum. KYC 2017 game Muramasa Rebirth - 10% - This is an amazingly great game, but difficult due to the no death boss run I'd have to do. KYC 2017 game Tales of Symphonia - 4% - Another grindy game that I would like to be done with. My sister recently completed it, so it shouldn't be too bad to do. I also want to finish this before Tales of Vesperia releases in December. Was a KYC 2017 game Star Ocean: Integrity & Faithlessness - 33% - Why do I like grindy JRPGs? KYC 2017 game The Awakened Fate Ultimatum - 11% - Going back to the PS3 is never easy, especially with my PS4 and PS Vita backlog. Dragon Quest Builders - 3% - Putting this in here, so it'll seem that I can accomplish something. Everybody's Gol......Nope! I think I've surpassed my limit enough. jemmie
It looks like this thread really blew up while I was sleeping, which is always nice to see. Everyone has been added. For now, I just put in everyone's raw posts (because there isn't really a relegated signup format). Like I said earlier, I'll make a spreadsheet before the event starts to make everything look nicer. 8 hours ago, Leon Castle said: SURPASS YOUR LIMITS?! You are asking me to go Ultra Instinct?! Pretty much, yeah. 7 hours ago, dmland12 said: This sounds good. You're thinking of the Rare Trophy Hunters League Revival. Yeah, I remember you being one of the top contenders. It's nice to see you again. ^-^ 4 hours ago, Leon Castle said: Dragon Ball FighterZ Estimated Difficulty: 9/10 Progress: 64% The new Dragon Ball game and it`s fun and Funny, lots of Fan-Service in it. once I plat I plan to help others with Online part as Area Fights is dead and lots of Ring fight maniacs is in it Are you telling me that the online is already dead?! willythom88
Oh this sounds fun, I'm in. I'll start off with just a few, but I'm gonna use this as a way to clear some PS3 games. 1. Hob (5.39) - only recently discovered this one's not that bad but it's not very popular so the percentage reflects that. 2.Anima Gates of Memories (5.30) - pretty much the second issue. 3.Devil May Cry 4 (2.58) - Ok so now well start getting into the actually hard stuff. Between the multiple playthroughs and the difficulty issues, this one will be lots of fun to get sick of. 4.N++ (1.59 ) - ton of fun here. Lot of levels and lit of replaying. 5.Star Ocean The Last Hope (.90) - Doing the PS3 version. 6.I am Bread ( .27) - Hey as long as I'm being unrealistic! Editing for one last one: 7. Disgaea 4: A Promise Resisted(1.72)- Another really long grindy one. Edited July 18, 2018 by willythom88

ladynadiad
Okay, here's my list: 1. Zuma - I only have the trophy to beat a level in 8 seconds or less left, but the best I've done is 9 seconds. It's actually a very hard 100% 2. Sparkle Unleashed - This game has only 0.33% completion and it is because of the one trophy I have left. Nightmare difficulty in this game is about 90% luck, 10% skill. I've gotten to the 46th level out of about 110 so far and I've been whittling away at this off and on since 2015. 3. Muramasa Rebirth - I only have speed runs and fury runs left. Fury gives 1 HP so you have to do bosses with no hits. Needless to say I've not gotten very far in this. 4. htoL#NiQ - The Firefly Diary - Some of the trophies I have left are very frustrating for a little point and click game. Awkward controls is a big part of the difficulty. Also because of its need for a guide for nearly anything and being on Vita which I tend to play where I can't access guides, it often ends up on the backburner. 5. God of War (PS3) - Normally I'm good at action RPGs, but seriously God of War is just so terrible and has hideous controls. I'm terrible at this game and have the challenges and speed run left and have so little patience for this game and playing it just reminds me that there are way better things I could be playing but that high percentage B rank is driving me nuts. May add more later on. I have a lot of games that would qualify that I haven't even started yet.

Popular Post ExHaseo
I'll join. I'm just going to do a few for now, but I may expand it if I make it through these. I'll admit I'm not going to wait until August though. So my list may look different once the event actually starts. Final Fantasy X-2 (33%) - I really like this game, and I've wanted to do this one for a while, but I absolutely hate sphere break, and have to do it for the Lady Luck Dressphere. I'm going to finally push through it, so I can finally say that I've gotten 100% and do all of the things I've never done. Muramasa Rebirth (80%) - I'm not sure if this really counts, because I already have the plat, but I want to put it on here anyway because I want 100%. I've been putting it off forever, because I was afraid to do Fury mode with all of the DLC characters. But I did it with the main two, and had fun doing it, so I think it's time to give it a try. Soul Sacrifice (81%) - I've been stuck on the same mission forever. I'm going to grind out some levels, and try it again though.
