Puppeter04
Hey folks! as the title says, tell me a trophy/trophies that It was so hard to get or too much grind, and it ended up being a bronze?! In my case, I have several games with a bronze trophy for getting all the collectables, yeah it was kind of easy but c'mon, playing each chapter taking care of that.. give me more.!!! Popular Post iForastero
In my case, Wolfenstein II. You have to beat the game without dying (no checkpoints or saves availables) on highest difficulty. All that to get a bronze trophy... "Mein Leben". Popular Post ExistentialSolid
Well, one of the most notorious bronze trophies out there is the trophy for completing "Mein Leben" difficulty in Wolfenstein 2. You have to beat the entire game from start to finish on the hardest difficulty (I am Death Incarnate) without losing a life. If you die, you start over. Once you know the levels inside and out, a successful run will typically last 3-4 hours (maybe 2 hours for more talented/riskier players). It doesn't help that there's around 15 minutes of unskippable cutscenes at the very beginning so every loss usually feels like a gut-wrenching waste of time. Most players will spend at least 50+ combined hours learning the routes through each level and actually applying that knowledge during Mein Leben runs (and maybe crying a little bit). So it is a serious time investment for those that are brave enough to attempt it. All of that work for a bronze trophy. EDIT: My comment was 1 minute too late ? Popular Post Copanele
Oh do I have a list for that !!!! Let me PILE 'EM UP! 1. Street Fighter V - Priceless - earn 1.000.000 FM : One of the worst grinds ever, comparable with "My Kung Fu is Stronger", and the actual reason why SF5 is an Ultra Rare. You really have to work your butt off for that cash. 2. Batman Arkham City - Campaign Kitty - earn all 108 medals with Catwoman in Campaign mode : Way too difficult for a measly bronze 3. Street Fighter IV - Entited - basically the equivalent of the platinum. I am still on my way of getting this, so yeah...honorable mention. I am THIS close EDIT : Got the trophy, don't want to update the initial sentence. 4. Skullgirls 2nd Encore - Independent Study - Nobody knows how this trophy is actually unlocked. Do combos? play 10000 hours? NO IDEA! People still speculate. 5.Fist of the North Star Lost Paradise - Surgical Precision - holy hell this really was a "ALL THAT FOR A BRONZE?" moment. The rhythm game is brutal here. 6. Batman Arkham Origins - ALL MULTIPLAYER TROPHIES! You get through all kinds of pain for measly bronzes 7. Dante's Inferno - It's in the Trial - ah the Trials of St. Lucia. Reason of grief and many dropped 100%s. These trials are weirdly difficult, without a good teammate the 2p ones are impossible. 8. Nioh - the Way of the Demon related trophies. That game is HARD on Way of the Demon and you really need to know your stuff...for a measly bronze. AND MY PERSONAL FAVORITE! 9 INJUSTICE 2 - CAT FIGHT - finish Cheetah with the Cat Call ability. Cat Call is a special moveset that either drops randomly from motherboxes (lootboxes) OR you have to grind the super multiverse for it. Took me 200+ hours for one stupid ability that gave me one stupid bronze. That is all I have for now more to come later!! Popular Post Ghost
GTA IV - Auf Wiedersehen Petrovic (You won in all variations of multiplayer games.) Should have been a . The grind is real on this one, especially if it glitches. Luckily, for me, it popped when it was suppose to. ? DrakeHellsing
Completing Jiminy's Journal in Kingdom Hearts. You get all the entries (bronze trophies on their own, which I'm fine with), but when you complete the journal itself, you'd think you'd get a neat silver or gold trophy, but nope, just another bronze trophy for all your hard work. And I mean some of the entries needed are for beating Sephiroth or Unknown or the other extra bosses in the game.
Phlegeth
Yakuza Kiwami, completing all the sub stories is a Bronze. But, the final sub story is a boss that gets a Silver at the same time. So, shrugs. Warriors Orochi 4 has a Bronze for killing 1 million enemies. Even for a Warriors game, that's a lot. Like I've platted the main game and done a lot of Infinity Tower and I only have 450k kills. Not even half way.
Popular Post NurseTatiana
Probably Wolfenstein 2 Mein Leben trophy like others have mentioned but let me be honest I didn’t care less if it would be gold or silver either. My objective was getting it done and I did. It’s a good revenge for those trophy hunters who thought you could play final chapter to unlock difficulty trophies so good job there devs. There is many more on my mind like shadow rushed me Max Payne 3 should be gold for its insane task.
Popular Post AJ_Radio
1. Batman Arkham City: DLC Challenges I might as well throw these in here because this was a lot of work for me to get these trophies. 24 ranked maps (12 Combat, 12 Predator) for Catwoman, 24 ranked maps + 2 DLC maps for both Robin and Nightwing. 3 medals for each ranked map, totaling 72 for Catwoman, 78 for Robin + Nightwing. With the three combined, 228 medals. 12 campaigns (8 Variety, 2 Pure Combat, 2 Pure Predator) ranging from 3 to 6 modifiers (mostly negative). 12 campaigns for Catwoman, 12 campaigns + 1 DLC campaign for Robin + Nightwing. 9 medals for each campaign, totaling 108 medals for Catwoman, 114 for Robin + Nightwing. With the three combined, 336 medals. For both ranked and campaign you have to get 564 medals. This took a combined 20 - 25 hours for me to get six bronze trophies. At least 80 percent of my time was spent on retrying the stupid predator challenges over and over and over. The fact there are people who did the 100 percent on Batman: Arkham City TWICE is just crazy. Truly committed. 2. inFamous 1: Rockhound One of the worst collectible trophies I have gone for in ANY game I have done for a platinum. You have to collect 350 Blast Shards. Yes, 350 Blast Shards. That's not as many as some collectibles in other games but the fact that you CANNOT track these at all is basically asking for trouble. I basically had to print the entire map and cross out each Blast Shard I collected by hand. It was tedious, it was boring, and I found myself missing some Blast Shards close to the end. Hitting the R3 button to detect any Blast Shards is not fun. Here is the map for anyone interested: Spoiler 3. Driveclub: AMG Completionist The hardest DLC pack for me to finish outside of Element's Venom Hot Lap 2 event. This one took me the longest, notably because One Man One Engine was such a pain to finish. Driving with a car that would easily slip off the road because of rain meant a lot of retries. 3. Heavy Rain: Kamikaze The hardest QTE event in the entire game. You have to guide Ethan driving on the wrong side of the highway with the correct choices. Some parts required tilting the PS3/PS4 controller at just the right angle so the cop cars wouldn't hit you. If you got hit, you have to restart. Definitely frustrating, and I had to tilt the PS3 and PS4 controllers differently for both stacks of Heavy Rain. Was glad to see this trophy pop on my screen. 4. Jak II: What's That Smell? Definitely an annoying mission that required many retries. Jak II has terrible checkpoints, meaning you could potentially face several minutes of replaying a section to get to the part you were at before you died. I could of picked a bunch of bronze trophies from this game, but this trophy stands out to me in memory as being rather frustrating. 5. Mafia II: Explorer Garbage trophy. You basically have to drive 1000 miles in the Jimmy's Vendetta DLC. Any miles you rack up in either the base game or in Joe's Adventure DLC does not count, it has to be done in this specific DLC pack. The developers patched the game to where it would automatically pause every 10 - 60 minutes or so, making the freefall glitch aggravating to use. I ended up spending the last 3 - 4 hours just driving circles on a bridge to get the 1000 miles. It was annoying and aggravating, and a cheap way to pad the game for a worthless bronze trophy. 6. Mega Man 10: SUPERHERO Complete Mega Man 10 on Hard difficulty. There is a definite spike between Normal and Hard difficulty. There are more enemies, they are more annoying to kill, and the bosses themselves have extra movement patterns that you must study. The entire trophy list is rather unrewarding, with MR PERFECT only giving you a silver for your efforts. While I ended up enjoying the game, having SUPERHERO be a silver trophy and MR PERFECT by a gold trophy would of been a lot more fitting. 7. Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor: The Hunt is My Mistress Easily the hardest trophy in the entire game. You have to eliminate a bunch of captains and warchiefs... fulfill certain objectives and finish in under a time limit. Compared to what Test of the Ring throws at you, Test of the Wild is a lot more unforgiving and aggravating. There are multiple strategies to beat this one, but I stuck with one guide on YouTube and I pretty much had to back my save to the Cloud. Making mistakes and wasting too much time will cost your entire run. I had to spend a number of hours carefully planning out what Captain or Warchief to attack next, and I had to use the Riot feature to have a chance of beating this in under the time limit while fulfilling the score requirement. A lot of work for just a bronze.

Popular Post Potent_Delusions
"Four Star General" from FEAR 2 Project Origin: this required 1,000,000 XP in the online and would take well over 1000 hours to earn legitimately seeming as you get 7 XP for a kill. Even boosted with the absolute optimum method it took most people 150 hours. From a developer standpoint whereby they weight the trophies with people doing them legitimately in mind, this is one of the worst bronzes on PSN in my honest opinion. "I am Bad Company" from Battlefield Bad Company: many, many, many hundreds of hours worth of awards. There's an award for 50 boat roadkills and most of the top 100 players on the leaderboard haven't even done this because of how stupid the requirement is. Most of the maps have no opportunity to do this as water is just at the edge of the map and no one goes in the water. There's only one map:mode combination that is remotely feasible for it. "Entitled" from Super Street Fighter 4: requires you to do pretty much everything on the game including all 840 combo trials, arcade on the hardest setting with all 35 characters, and miscellaneous online stuff. Almost a platinum within a platinum yet it's bronze and there are silver trophies on the game that are exponentially easier. "Gold Plated" from Need for Speed: I haven't done it myself but it's reputation precedes it. "Mein Leben" from Wolfenstein II: the whole campaign on the hardest difficulty setting in one life, full of action packed gameplay and stealth sections where the AI act unpredictably so you must improvise. "Auf Wiedersehen Petrovic" from Grand Theft Auto IV: a win on every mode:map combination in the online, over 100 combinations. Gold worthy yet it's a bronze. Not the hardest trophy but it'd certainly take a while.
Kamurotetsu
Grinder Supreme from Divekick, play 2000 ranked matches, sounds easy enough except boosting with someone is next to impossible considering there are people who leave the game running using a turbo controller meaning the matches never start. I had to use my Vita and PS3 in the end. The trophy name is appropriate, it was a grind. Edited September 18, 2020 by Kamurotetsu
shary96
Nioh - Destroyer of Demons You have to clear every mission of the entire base game + DLC1 in NG++. Easier said than done... After NG+ the game becomes insanely hard and can't be done without a proper build that suits the player's playstyle. Fortunately, co-op can be a blessing feature.
nrs1nrs1
You Found Me! - MK9 - incredibly situational trophy that takes a lot of patience. Cat Call - Injustice 2 - just pure RNG hell, and they made it more difficult for no good reason. Brutality 101 - Arkham Knight - it takes a lot of practice to make those stupid digits on your arm stumps to press all those combos without dropping it. I am quite surprised to see this one on the list. Perhaps I was fortunate but this one came very easily, There is even a guide showing you the order of inputs which never change should you have to retry. After a blind playthrough (I loved this game back on the PS3, need to replay on the PS4), I got on my first or second try. I thought the Twins trophy (I’m Not Scared) was trickier but still not difficult. Your other bronzes are quite challenging and/or grindy, just surprised that this trophy with a 17% rarity would make the list.

EDF Insect Armageddon Daddy Warbugs, Survive-O-Rama, Scavenger and the aptly named Social Dead Butterfly. The game is a piece of shit, in my opinion, and plenty of fun bronzes. When you finished this you can also have fun with self boosting with 2 PS3's King Of The Hill, from Shift 2 Unleashed. It's a joy... Lastly go for Sidekicked from the Ultimate Speed Pack from Need for Speed Most Wanted for the PS3, with the special motivation that can bug and be impossible to attain at the very end, which will give you that special joy. These are the ones that come to mind, but there's more. But just these 3 will fill you long nights. And days... Have fun...
Akrioz
Never thought of any trophy that way. It's always all of that for the Platinum or 100%. It's a part of a package. I actually think that it is better for overall completion if something you can't or don't want to do is just a bronze.
