Both games are not the greatest but somehow create a different experience. Asura’s Wrath especially. It even works it flaws as part of what makes it special. An interactive anime with fantastical out of proportion battles. The game is on PlayStation Now and I recommend everyone to play the story at least once. (Be careful though because the dlc is not available via Now)

There's still a very active player base so trophies are obtainable without boosting. I ended up boosting most of the xp as it would take a substantial amount of time to get to lvl 50 without it. Be prepared if you play the mp though as the player base is mostly max lvl and have been playing for a long time.

I cleared the dreaded level 319 on New Years Day and then got the remainder of the trophies bar one on the 2nd! Decided a break from CBK was well needed as it was hurting my eyes after a couple of hours, I even had to turn the contrast down on the TV to manage longer stints. Quick update. Adding two new games to my list:

As an added bonus I have completed all of the multiplayer trophies associated with the above two games! I had already completed Black Flag on PS4 so that was nothing new, but SGW was an awful experience. Constant crashing and disconnects made for a very irritating multiplayer grind. We got there in the end but it was such a pain, wouldn't recommend this game to anyone solely because of the multiplayer experience.

Yet again I unfortunately have little progress to report for this month, I worked a lot on KH3 due to it having been at like 12% for the past few years which was bothering me so that took a while to get up to 59%. Anyways, I finally have a PS5 now and can say for almost certain that PSNow works wayyyyy better than before, I have very little hitching and the games run better in general, I want to say the graphical quality is better too but I can't really say for sure lol. Anyways, onto the progress!

Hoping to finish Sly 2 next month and start on a few other games, thankfully I'm still able to stream Bioshock (PS3) on PS5 despite things I've heard about it being removed or something so I'm hoping to plat (but not 100%) that before the end of the month as well. Getting games up to higher percentages is my priority at the moment so hopefully DMC, MGS4, Sonic Unleashed, etc. will see a rise along with the others too. Keep it up though everyone! We've got 9-ish months left and that's more than enough time to get some serious trophy completion, don't stop after November though, until PSN closes on PS3 we'll keep on keepin' on!

I got one PS3 game completed in January. Finished up the Mass Effect Trilogy by beating ME3. Three months and three ME games completed. I had heard that the ending was disappointing considering how amazing the series was, however I thought that the ending was fine. Not the best, not the worst...but I also had the Extended Cut DLC so maybe they fixed something so it ended up better. It probably will end up being in my top 3 favorite series ever. There wasn't much I didn't love about it and since I played them in order, it felt like it just got better and better. I'll definitely go back to it some day with the remasters in a few years. If you haven't experienced them yet, I highly recommend them.

I played a little bit of all the games I mentioned in my last update before deciding to settle down on Retro City Rampage to complete. I made it much harder on myself by going for not just 100% trophy completion but also 100% game completion. The secondary challenges are manageable after a few attempts using the online leaderboard recordings, but the BIT.TRIP RUNNER arcade game took me hours to do. I'm still not entirely sure of the right timing to jump off the crocodile heads. Other than that RCR is "80's and 90's References: The Game", which is fine, but the game lacks an identity of its own.

 

It's my understanding that Doom Classic Complete has been delisted worldwide, which is a bit of a shame. It consists of 6 games/map packs, of varying quality. Doom is great. Doom II is also good, but leans heavily on ambushes which gets tiring. TNT Evilution has some really creative map designs, and I enjoyed it a lot. Plutonia Experiment is... not fun. Take Doom II's ambush mentality, but instead of being ambushed by imps and demons you're ambushed by chain gunners and revenants. I sure hope you like save scumming, 'cause you can lose a lot of health in a very short time. Master Levels are hard to qualify because of so many different authors, but they lean towards confusing switch puzzles. Good luck getting through without checking YouTube to figure out where you're supposed to go next. No Rest for the Living is much more fun after the last two campaigns, and while there aren't very many maps they are big, and filled with little enemies. Since the game doesn't clear away enemy corpses you will frequently find yourself knee deep in the dead.

 

For February I want to get X-Men: Destiny off my backlog and then make progress on BioShock 2 and Mass Effect 3. I'm coming up on 4 years with BioShock 2 on my trophy list, so it would be nice to clear that one off.

Wew, I left this thread for way too long. There were a lot of people over at my place (including a baby), along with me trying to complete Dark Souls 3 left this thread just out of my mind entirely. I think everything is updated though! The thread's last bump seems a little weird, so I don't know where exactly I left off, so if anything seems incorrect please don't hesitate to let me know. This isn't really a new update as I couldn't get any progress in any of my games but wanted to mention a few things anyways.

First, I attempted to play Heavy Rain, but my controller doesn't recognize the movement for some parts, so I'm looking for a friend to lend me his controller and start the game. Also, I bought a copy of Dark Souls, but as I'm not from the US I don't have it with me and I need to wait for my aunt to return so I could get it on my hands, which might take a while because of what's happening around the world. Finally, gonna wait until the weekend to buy the COD: Ghosts Season Pass and maybe even get a game or two with it. 

 

So yeah, thats all for now, hopefully I can get some progress in February.

I'm currently working on Final Fantasy XIII. I'm more focused on finishing the game than getting the platinum - I'm already aware of the massive grinding involved, so I'm just taking my sweet time with the game (I never had a chance to play it back when it was released).

 

As for the other games, I'll do my best to complete them, but some platinums/100% from the list are unobtainable nowadays, due to server closures and delistings and such. I didn't include Brutal Legend, for example - I can't buy the DLC from the store anymore, so although I have the platinum, the 100% (and consequently, any progress) is lost forever. I'm already aware that some games like PES 2011 and Mortal Kombat no longer has running servers, so I've only added them for completeness' sake. Same goes for some games I already have on the PS4 (ACs are some of them).

February update. Completed Hotline Miami.  Unlike other games on the list,I really didn't like this one.  ?

 

The guide says 10 hours and 5/10 difficulty,but in my case it was like 30 hours to platinum and 7/10 difficulty. Bad graphics,boring story.I have absolutely no idea what was it about because i just pressed x to speed up the head explaining the story. Also this game gave me headaches and sore red eyes.  

I am very happy that I bought only the first one because playing HM2 also would be a nightmare. I hear it is even harder.

Little update to say i played more Yu-Gi-Oh in the last days and i finished my first playthrough. That's +1 trophy I started my ng+ run and defeated 5 of 80 enemies already but oh boy have they better decks now. I have to change my deck slightly like 5 of 40 cards each new enemy. But i like the game. At least for the first half i know the characters from the Anime and they're well adapted in the game (based on their decks).

 

Besides that i wasn't very busy playing ps3 games with one exception. Since Monday i pay for PS NOW and started Trine PS3 right away. I finished the game on highest difficulty and completed the final mission on highest difficulty without dying so the hardest part to get the  is done. Just need lots of collectibles and a few misc. trophies. But i'm not enjoying the game as much as i've hoped as the game doesn't look good and they improved it a lot in the PS4 version which i played years ago and Trine 2 (PS4) is much better too But i'll continue to finish the last incomplete trophy list of the franchise

I haven't updated in almost a month, so here's what I've been doing...

Well I didn't know what to play last time therefore I just picked a game from the 3 categories I got (disc, digital, PS+). Figured I go with a longer game for days I got lots of time to play and two shorter for when I don't and to switch it up depending on my mood. Those 3 games are Dragon Age: Origins, Steins;Gate and Zombie Driver HD.

Steins;Gate immediately gave me a trophy just for starting it up, but it was Dragon Age: Origins that I actually started playing (the long game) as it was my day off.

Well let me tell you all DA:O sucked me right in (even with the bugs/glitches and framerate/slowdowns), it's the only game I played since. I have put around 150hrs into it, finishing the main story and wrapping up all the DLC. Now I just have to go back to clean up the base game trophies with new character(s), but I think for now I'll play one of my other two games this weekend to pace myself with DA:O.

Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee

I can see why i stopped playing this one the first time around, it hasn't aged well, dropped framerates and bad camera controls that u have to fight in some instances, wasn't sure if i was going to be able to complete it because of one glitchy trophy, ended up having to replay it 3 times for that trophy alone with the last 1 being done on a blank account in the end, still having to delete the patch after playing it for the trophy to finally pop, The things we do for trophies.? At least its out of the way, and another UR plat.

finished Sleeping Dogs. Really nice game and it surprised me how good it felt after 8 years. I have now purchased the DLC packs and will work on those
