Popular Post Tanuzomi
#67 - Final Fantasy XV The World Wanderer Collected all trophies. And finally done, I kept the fishing trophy as my last as I enjoyed the minigame or more activity very much What more to say? It was an all ok game but nothing more for me. It just included the name FF for me but wow... so much things compared to other and older FF games where... kinda odd... the game was so easy it got me bored halfway not to mention the short story... The story was more like a meh, the characters except few where also not the best one's I saw: Iris, Luna, Noct and Gladio rulzed for me + special love for Levi Which concluded to the next point the great Six... wow... Ramuh was hella badass it was always funny with Levi where the 2 spawn when I summoned them... Bahamut was cool, too! He now works as fulltimer together with Kamen Rider! Justice for the world thx to Bahamuth... Srsly his design... oh god... orz Pls it's a dragon not a Power Ranger without a job and despair... The ED; I loved it I will not deny it here; it was sad and emotional and the most btw. the fact that it was very open like was cool, thus the fact what happened with Luna in a certain event... was very sad and emotional... for me ;_; So yeah... nice and easy game... but FF and getting hyped? Uhm... nope... Well I am happy to wait for FF12 not the best game, too but at least a nice one coming soon...
Popular Post SnowxSakura
#55 Persona 4: Dancing All Night Dancing All Night Obtained all trophies I didn't really care for how it played as I prefer the middle screen notes like rock band/dance dance revolution, but I freaking love Shoji Meguro's music. The story was pretty interesting too. The trophy list wasn't too bad minus full clearing a song on hard difficulty, but it only takes a little practice. King Crazy baby!

Popular Post MStalker58
#134 Day of the Tentacle Remastered After my last couple of platinums I was in the mood for a relaxing and stress-free type of game and this PS+ title hit the spot. Comparing it to another LucasArts classic, I think I preferred the story of Grim Fandango which I also played recently. However, in most other aspects I enjoyed Day of the Tentacle quite a bit more. The colors and visual style look great and the humor holds up well despite this game being over 20 years old. Unlike Grim Fandango, there are thankfully no annoying tank controls to deal with as this is more of a classic point-and-click style of game. Definitely brought back some memories of other classics in the genre that I played as a kid.
Popular Post Izularia
#166: World of Final Fantasy True Grymoirian Obtained every trophy. Difficulty: 3/10Time: 80 hours That's definitely the game FFXV should have been. Don't get me wrong, FFXV was a decent game that I liked playing, it simply didn't feel like a Final Fantasy at all. World of Final Fantasy, on the other hand, had things that I loved within older games of the Final Fantasy series. The battle system was familiar but refreshing thanks to the numerous mirages and combinations you were able to use and go into battle with. If you're looking for a classic Final Fantasy and don't want an Action RPG like FF15, this game is for you! Highly recommended to newcomers and old fans of the series.
Popular Post Cleggworth
#159 & 160 - Sly Cooper Thieves in Time Mask and Stripes Forever Sly and the gang's final outing (?) and in my opinion the best of the series. That's not saying much considering how lacklustre I found Sly 2 and 3 but I'd actually say I liked this and that's not just because of the cross save plat. My major gripe with earlier outings is that they were mind numbingly repetitive and long outstayed their welcome but this was short and sweet and had just enough variation in missions to maintain my interest right to the end. I enjoyed this so much I'd actually elevate the Sly series into 2nd place in my personal 'Which is best? Sly/Jak/Ratchet?' rankings. I still absolutely despise Bentley and 'The Murray' though

Popular Post PooPooBlast
#57 - Dying light What happens when a zombie game that's bland gets parkour implemented into it? This amazing game is born. Seriously, I hated dead island but this is so much better. The story felt really boring at first but picked up nicely. Same with the gameplay. You're practically useless in the beginning but post game, you just feel badass. Sidequests were surprisingly unique for most of them which is unusual for a zombie game as they usually come off as uninspired. I liked the soundtrack which is very well fitting imo. I read up on it and apparently the creator wanted a 70/ 80s feel horror feel to it which was a nice info to know. I'm going to go for dlc so 100% here I come! Can't wait to do the parkour challenges. Should be fun! Edited February 3, 2017 by poopooblast

I enjoyed collecting all the treasures, weapons etc. The story was a bit confusing but interesting. However, this game definetly has too many minigames. Popular Post Radebe78
#93 UNRAVEL The Red Thread Interesting idea for a game, from Swedish company. Beautiful artwork and graphics combined with solid gameplay in regard to platforming, and with the splash of nice music - gets you this real gem between today games. It maybe be funny for someone but at first this was really difficult for me. Okay you can finish all the levels without much problems but completing them without dying, now that was some serious nerve racking shit. Although levels are not that long, 10 to 12 minutes each, going again and again and again through all the puzzles and platforming scenes was just painful, and made me rage quite a bit. I was struck how this nice game is making me miserable. And then I got it....I suck at this jumping and timing and all other...It`s been a while since I played something similar...So then it was a time to GIT GUD. Eventually I did all levels with no deaths, got my plat, and then the best moment in this game happened. I opened the notebook from the hub world, where Yarny is placing his little friends, on cover page...and casually read all the text game designers wrote there, and looked at all the pictures posted there also....it was great! Pretty sure that probably creator of this game used his own pics from real life (or maybe whole team of people behind this game) and made it in one very moving experience. Everyone should try out this game, and if you can finish it, enjoy at the ending - how many simple and ordinary things are what life really is all about!
Popular Post Boomshanks
( 35) Assassin's Creed 3 Enjoyment: 7/10 Difficulty: 4/10 I know I'm a bit late with this one, but at least now I've finally finished the original pentalogy. Unlike most people I actually really like Connor, though I don't really know why and I can completely understand why people hate him. The setting of colonial America is also pretty cool, though the high buildings of the previous game are sorely missed. Spending time on the roofs is pretty much discouraged in this game since there are always numerous guards telling you to get down. I actually liked exploring the Frontier a lot more than exploring the cities in this game. My favorite thing about the game is the story. I absolutely loved Haytham and I liked how you had already gotten to know the Templars you would later have to assassinate. Made them more than just a face to kill. Also getting people to live in your Homestead and slowly seeing it grow into a self-sustaining society was just amazing. And of course, the ship battles. I didn't know if I'd like these as much since they were so hyped up, but they really are incredible. Wished we got to spend more time on the ship, though of course Black Flag has that covered. Trophywise, there is pretty much only one trophy and that is "complete all progress tracker grid entires", otherwise known as "do absolutely everything the game has to offer". Now I'm all for trophies that make you do everything, but this was just too much. Some of the tasks were just really mundane, like finishing the Underground map of the different cities. Just a dumb, boring mission that could have been taken out entirely. There were also some cool missions to complete, such as the Forts, and I actually liked collecting the Feathers and Chests, though the Almanac Pages can go die in a fire. But there were just too many missions that got really boring in the end, such as doing all the challenges for the different clubs. They just make you do a certain action a number of times, and once you've completed the game there's not much fun to be had in doing these. Also, some of the Full Sync requirements were just plain awful (especially The Giant and the Storm). Overall, I really liked the game, but found that after completing it, it was a lot more fun to play in short little bursts than in long playthroughs. I actually got this platinum in January, I'm just late in writing about it. As a goal for 2017, I want to see if I can get at least one platinum every month (which is quite a step for me). It may seem like a disappointment (especially to your platforming/parkour loving self), but it's like justified. Theres a new core feature added via the DLC, which the new world will compliment heavily, and the missions in this new world focuses on that feature. It's respectively just as fun as the parkouring, especially given the balanced difficulty, which imo difficulty is important via the fun factor. (Still my favorite now gen game.) Popular Post Ala-Arska
Sleeping Dogs: Definitive Edition Hong Kong Legend Earn all the Sleeping Dogs: Definitive Edition trophies to unlock this platinum trophy Agent 47: great at killing people, even better at singing! About time I aced this shining gem again, only 257 Platinums between the PS3 version and this When I first played SD years ago, I saw it as an underrated and extremely fun game. In 2017, it's still great. With slightly better graphics. Visuals are splendid to say the least. From dazzling neon nights to pouring rain, Hong Kong looks and sounds like the real deal. Controls are tight and responsive. Especially in combat, when each landed counter and broken bone gives you that much needed rush Soundtrack is...for an acquired taste. The car radio gave me no memorable tunes. The karaoke is where I found my calling (as seen above) Then there's the story. As familiar it may be on paper, on screen it's just purely awesome. Yup, my educated opinion about it is: Awesome! If I really, really had to pick something negative about Dogs, perhaps it'd be the non-obeying camera angles when driving. But that's it. I loved Sleeping Dogs in 2013, and I love Sleeping Dogs: Definitive Edition today. Get it, play it, thank me later

Popular Post Jak
#98 Just another day at the office Earn all available trophies for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Another 2016 game down. Remastering job. Was simply amazing. Keeping it short, this remastered was handled with care and is among the quality tier of the remastering job done with The Nathan Drake Collection. Has been nearly a decade since I played the campaign. The campaign and level design length are shorter than I remembered. However, while you get through most levels quickly, theres still a good length of missions to keep the game from truly being short. The soundtrack was actually enjoyable and better than I remembered, worth downloading. Griggs, Soap, Price, and Gaz... and even you Nikolai. That squad is the shit. Had a lot of false memories thoroughout though, recalling things from MW2 because of some similar areas. This game has actually motivated me to replay through MW2. Veteran = hell. Like most remasters (Uncharted and Jak's included), they tend to keep the games as faithful to the original as possible. Infinite respawns and flawed checkpoints (where some trigger based on a path you take in open areas). Some instances are going to be on par with Call of Duty 5's infamous Veteran difficulty. Enjoyment 9/10 (9 cause Veteran) Edited February 3, 2017 by Mar

Popular Post Jounochi
Platinum #96 - Gravity Rush 2 (PS4) Okay... wow... this game is AMAZING! Everything in it is well done to the point that there is close to nothing I can criticize it about.Kat moves and controls much like she did in the first game, but the addition of different gravity styles shake it up enough to make it feel really good. Combat in the first game basically consisted of spamming the gravity kick until the nevi were wiped out. This game improves it by making use of different types of dodge techniques and by allowing the stasis field to be properly utilized. The music... OMG... this is my favorite soundtrack in a video game. Everything is well timed and it is just... SO GOOD!Content wise there is a ton here and from what I hear there's more to come. You can easily spend 20 or so hours getting through the story, and I spent about another 16 more for the platinum.Game Rating: 10/10Platinum Difficulty: 3/10
Popular Post Omelette Paradise
. . Platinum #131 Nightmares From The Deep: The Cursed Heart A very enjoyable point & click game with an entertaining story and a simple Platinum trophy. Two playthroughs were required for the Platinum. The trophy for completing a game of Mahjong in less than one minute caused me problems at first, as I'd never played Mahjong before. I eventually unlocked it by replaying the very first Mahjong game near the beginning. They get a lot trickier towards the end of the game.
