Popular Post madbuk
#228 - Dragon Age: Inquisition While this is the worst mainline Dragon Age game, I still had a lot of fun replaying it on the inferior PS3 version. It was a little harder than it was on PS4, as Horn of Valor doesn't give you guard since PS3 doesn't have the Tresspasser DLC, but overall it wasn't too bad. I'm still not fond of the open hub areas, but I loved going through the linear main-quest areas. Also, this game is very impressive on a technical level. There are so many choices that actually affect the game you can make throughout, and there are loads of different ways cutscenes can play out. Puts Telltale and the like to shame - and this is with the RPG gameplay on top of it all. I can't wait to see where Bioware takes the series next, especially since Dragon Age 4 is being handled by the same team as the past Dragon Age games, unlike Andromeda which was thrust on an inexperienced team to develop. This is basically the only franchise EA has left that interests me, which is rather sad. Please cut down on the MMO sidequests next time though.
Popular Post SirDave1988
#78 + 100% - Lego Star Wars : The Force Awakens (PS4) The Force Awakens Unlock All Trophies Another very easy, enjoyable, if grindy, LEGO plat. Mind you, I think all LEGO plats could be summed up with that statement. I've only done 2 of them, but I'm already seeing a trend haha. As a massive Star Wars fan, it was a no-brainer to pick this up when I saw it on sale on the PS store. It's also just one of those games you can just chill out and relax with, for the most part anyways haha. Not much to say really, it's what you'd expect from a LEGO title in that it sticks to it's source material, but doesn't take itself with any resemblance of seriousness at all, graphics are perfectly serviceable, gameplay is fun, good stuff.
Popular Post DamagingRob
#274- Zone of the Enders HD Elite Frame Runner Collect all trophies Another PS2 game with trophies I never played, back in the day. And it was a lot of fun. One rescue mission was a bit tricky, though, thanks to damage carrying over from a boss fight.. Had to retry a ton of times before finally getting 9.8% damage to the city, and an A rank. But other than that, a relatively stress free Plat. Can't wait to play the sequel sometime in the near future.
Popular Post Dragon-Archon
#168: Persona 5 After completing this game, I still can't decide if I like this one more or Persona 4 Golden. P5 has more gameplay elements and I like how Palaces aren't randomly generated dungeons. The story is amazing and there's lots of optional things to do. The final boss fight was also good. I like how enemies are Personas and it's possible to obtain them through negotiations. Unlocking perks when leveling up Confidant ranks was also a nice addition. Hearing 250 unique lines from Futaba was also a lot easier to do compared to the P4G counterpart. However, this game also has its flaws. The story feels a bit rushed around the 5th Palace and Haru is added very suddenly even though she goes to the same school as the protagonist. She appears in a cutscene early in the game, but doesn't say anything. Her story arc also feels a bit forced and could've been fleshed out a lot more. Luckily, the other characters are a lot better. Besides that, I didn't like going through Mementos, as it's a randomly generated dungeon where the aesthetics of the floors only change when entering a new path. Getting to the end was a boring thing to do. Something that also annoyed me a lot was being told to go to sleep, which means no free time. This happens way too much and it's because the developers removed a palace from the game. Some of my favourite Personas are Horus, Seth, Kohryu, and Lucifer. My top 3 favourite Palaces are definitely the pyramid, castle, and casino. The ending was good and I'm looking forward to Persona 5 Dancing Star Night. Popular Post Nauticus87
#180 - Deadpool Loved the humour in this. Went for a one playthrough Ultra-Violent run and enjoyed the challenge, only a few frustrating parts. Found it funny when looking at the trophy guide after beating it because it warns about not using melee attacks on the final boss, even on easy, and that's all I did. On easy he barely hurts you and on UV with the player perks you can pretty much spam your momentum attacks, starting with the square one that can be boosted with 10 seconds of invincibility. #181 - A Rose In The Twilight My initial impression was that this was a slower paced, more depressing Dokuro. It did grow on me eventually and I enjoyed it for the most part but the story never grabbed me. It didn't help that every scene from the bloodstains felt as if it could be outpaced by a glacier. I swear there was once or twice where I felt that my Vita had frozen because nothing was happening. #182 - My Name Is Mayo (Vita) Just sneaking this one in here, don't mind me. Popular Post Rally-Vincent---
Middle-Earth: Shadow of War The Bright Lord Middle-earth has been saved. For now... A mixed bag, not only because of the microtransactions. The main storyline is underwhelming, although not entirely bad. SoW lives by its gamelay, especially the Nemesis system. Turning Orc captains against their masters is as much fun as it was in Shaow of Mordor. Running into the most annoying Orc over and over again, seeing him evlve or devolve, depending on how your fights with him end, is enraging and satisfying at the same time, especially when he either is dead for real (or a recruit with great stats). Regarding loot boexs: While they are evil in itself, there is no need to spend real money. You have ingame currency with which you can get the lowest rank boxes. I found those to be enough to get Orcs with great stats. Orcs come in three tiers - 'normal', epic and legendary. A legendary Orc tends to be stronger than a regular one, but this is not always the case. Every Orc can have 4 tiers of positive traits and 4 tiers of weaknesses. The highest weakness allows instant kills, and a legendary orc with a mortal weakness is shit, while a regular orc with only the lowest tier weaknesses will turn out much, much better. The weaknesses are all that matter, followed by the positive traits. If you kill a captain, you get gear. You can dismantle gear for ingame currency. At the latest stage of the game, you'll have enough currency to get low-tier loot boxes that give you two orcs and one bonus for your Orc captains. Is there grind? Yes, there are two grinds (my time to Plat: 1 week 4 days). The 4th act makes you defend (or reconquer) fortresses. You'll need to level your Orcs as the level of the attackers will rise as well. Leveling Orcs can be done by pit fights. Those are AI-controlled 1-1 fights. The winner levels up, the loser dies. You pit your Orcs against enemy orcs. This gets boring, but since it s AI-controlled, you can do something useful (I watched a let's play). If the fight looks bad, XMB out before the fight is resolved. If you made sure to get good Orcs, they'll do great in combat if leveled high enough. All you need to do in the fortress battles is to dominate enemy broken captains and revive your fallen if necessary. The second grind is for boosts. Certain enemies drop gems that give boni. 3 gems combined make a gem of the next tier. You can get up to 30% XP boost with two high tier gems on armor. You'll want that at Act IV. There is a miniscule amount of free gold currency (tied to some quest I guess?). Use this to get XP boosts, save those for Act IV. The amount of XP needed to get the max level is insane. You get a lot of XP for the fortress missions, so use the XP gem bonus and make best use of your free-gold-bought-XP-boost. DAily challenges can give you a tiny amount of gold if you are in need. IMO, Act IV - introduced with an excuse of a storyline - was designed as incentive for spending money as a whole (as opposed to intended to be there and made grindier, I hope you get what I mean). But if you prepare properly, you can reduce the amount of grind by a large percentage. Set up your armies in every region so you can fight several fortress battles within the XP boost time in a row. tl;dr: Gameplay was great, story wasn't. Grind is in there, but can be done on the side, if done properly. Microtransactions suck regardless.
Popular Post Ac3NiNjA9
#13 Beyond: Two Souls This is one of those games that motivated me into buying a PS4. Kept myself from watching playthroughs of this for a long time and it was definitely worth the wait. It's a good game to play on the side, especially at night/after you've had a long day and want to relax. Would highly recommend to anyone that enjoys interactive story-focused games.
Popular Post Falken-N7
Heavy Rain #11 - HEAVY RAIN™ Master Unlock all trophies And so, this wonderful adventure comes to an end. This is a game that made me regret not saving for a PS3 back in the day, but luckily I managed to make up for that with this remastered edition. What can I say, loved every second of it, all the good endings, as well as the bad ones (even though, whenever I got a bad ending and thought "this has to be the worst possible outcome", there was another one right after it making me rethink about that). Favourite characters: Norman Jayden (who I'm definetly gonna cosplay in the future lol), and Lauren Winter. But honestly, is there a bad character in this game? Gotta love David Cage's direction. Really proud of this Platinum. Edited November 8, 2017 by Falken-N7

Popular Post Jesaya815
#218 Guardians of the Galaxy A Little Help From My Friends Completed Guardians of the Galaxy After the rather disappointing Walking Dead: A New Frontier, this was again a step into the right direction. Very enjoyable game from Telltale and very underrated so far. Although mainly playing as Star Lord/Peter Quill, every other character gets enough Spotlight, so that no one comes up too short. They are written and portrayed perfect, better than the Movies could give them credit. Especially the Flashbacks are very well done. But there are lots of emotionial moments during the episodes as usual, and lots of funny scenes/dialogues, plus an awesome soundtrack. I couldn't have asked for more. Anyone who likes Tales from the Borderlands will love Guardians of the Galaxy.

Popular Post Terra
104 - Hakuoki: Stories of the Shinsengumi Fujoshi Got all the trophies, Well Done! You're a beautiful person with the whole life ahead of you! Difficulty: 1/10 Enjoyment: 5/10 This game hurst me the most because of the unfortunate events that transpired around it. I had started this like any other game and was really getting invested in the storylines. The game tied well with my Japanese history classes despite the historical inaccuracies and the male leads were excellent with their own personalities. However, halfway through, I lost my companion of 15-16 years and finishing the game was a harsh reminder that she wouldn't be beside me anymore. I shelved this after I finished it and I won't look back on it for a long time. It's a shame because the enjoyment rating is not a 5/10 because of the game itself, but of what I will remember it as. Perhaps I'll try Kyoto Winds instead but I still recommend this to an VN fan. There's plenty of story content to keep you occupied for a good week.

This game have some ideas from other games, but it's not copy of Souls games or anything else... it's original game with I think one of the best and deep combat system. Art design / characters / locations / enemies are Awesome. Now time to get a better Kingo armor and complete this game on all difficulties ? SoapMacTavish222
#278 and #279 AC Syndicate for PS4 and Butter Baby Bullshit (not actual title) for PS4. So AC Syndicate was fantastic, loved everything about it. The Jack the Ripper DLC was awesome as well. There were a couple grinding trophies but since it's Assassin's Creed it was to be expected. The Frye twins are awesome characters and the story was pretty solid. Butter & Friends on the other hand I was ready to toss my controller at one point. I read online about how easy of a platinum it was and was like "alright, time to trophy whore it up." and blew through most of the trophies almost instantly. Then I got to the trophy where you have to keep 4 babies at once and that's where I lost my shit. Apparently it is super easy if you have multiple people playing but I didn't have anyone to play with at the time and wasn't going to give the game the satisfaction. So I finally kicked its ass and then deleted it off the hard drive. It was only $2.99 so I feel like it was worth it for the platinum but I will never play it again.

Overall okayish imo, storyline and stuff was interesting and kept me interested in it, ending was no shocker tho. Id rate Enjoyment higher if there were no demons (feels like they were implemented at the end to make this game at least 1% challenging but they are "flow-killer" imo) and because of the 242(!) collectibles... Popular Post Karl-Kai
Tekken 7 I'll Get Everything Back! Ahh, Tekken... I have always liked Tekken ever since it was introduced to me. I had wanted to buy Tekken 7 day one, but I waited for it to get a little bit cheaper. When they cut out 30% of the price, I latched onto it immediately. I had great time with this game, and of course I will play it more even though I platinumed it already. Offline trophies weren't that bad, and well, online trophies weren't either even though they felt like pure, undiluted hell at first, lol. Too many too high level opponents, you see. But once my free trial ends, I won't be able to battle online anymore; don't have the funds to keep them renewals rolling. Anyway; Tekken 7 is awesome, go get it if you don't have it already.

Popular Post markcavan
#168 - Funk on Titans played on PSVita (45th plat of 2017) - 76.44% COMMON I actually really enjoyed this game and got more out of it than I expected considering there seems to be a high amount of hate for it. Anyhow, its a side scrolling runner platformer with 45 levels across three worlds with three boss type battles. Overall the game is easy enough with most levels being cleared on the first go. The game however is buggy. Once I got to the rock world (third world) the game would not start correctly and hung on the loading screen. I ended up needing to disable my internet connection for it to load again. Think it was stuck doing a cloud based sync. Also, the level load times are really long. I picked the game up a while ago on sale so definitely was worth the few euro's I spent on it. Overall 5/10 enjoyment and 2/10 difficultly

Popular Post scarishbal
# 144 - Uncharted: The Lost Legacy I'm pretty neutral to this game but it falls more to the dislike side. I skipped playing Uncharted 4 and I know this was DLC for it so that has an effect on it. I liked the level designs except for Chapter 4 which was the open world part. I was following a collectable guide so I was driving across the map a couple of times and it got old quick. I much prefer the linear levels. #145 - Guardians of the Galaxy I picked this up as soon as I saw people completing the final episode. I wanted to get through some easy games so I can platinum AC Origins as my 150th. I really thought I would hate this game but I was wrong. So wrong. This game made me laugh and cry. Just an emotional rollercoaster. But I was extremely exhausted and tired when I played this. I haven't seen the movies nor will I ever - but this game was able to give enough exposition that wasn't ham-handed and it was easy to follow. Its kind of a mix of Tales from the Borderlands' comedy with a dash Game of Thrones' seriousness. The game has a good humor side but it has its serious moments - at points when Star-Lord was off screen talking and it panned back to him, I truly believed I would see Rhys instead of him (I miss Rhys). They intertwine together so that serious moments can be comedic. Plus! The platinum screenshot isn't a black screen!!
