Popular Post Elvick_
Platinum #209 LEGO Pirates of the Caribbean All hands on deck! Collect all Trophies. Playing four LEGO games so closely together was a mistake, getting 100% near the end was quite the chore. Mostly in this case due to the compass in each level and how slooooow you move while holding it and how wonky the path to the thing you need to find is. Come the 4th film it was smooth sailing since I had already gotten them all there. Those slowed down the levels so much, and most of it is irrelevant nonsense like finding a banana or something that has no use. :/ Made especially slow feeling as the previous games were either really grindy [Batman 3, Star Wars 3] or glitchy af [Indiana Jones 2]. But, in terms of game this is probably one of my favorite LEGO games. I really miss the pantomime movie games like this. The way they convey what a Pirate is and why they're bad in the intro of the game before starting is hilarious. Overall it was fun and made me want to rewatch the movies again, as long as they are. The game froze four times, as a LEGO games tend to do, but once I had the last stud related trophy and no longer used stud multipliers or had the stud collector hat on, I didn't have any crashes. Just used the bottle finder and invincibility. If I learned anything from Indiana Jones 2 it's that the bricks strongly contribute to crashing/freezing. Which sucks, would've loved to speed up building and stuff but it's not worth it if you lose progress and I don't want to risk that. Going through each film was overall fun, I found the 4th film's levels not as fun for some reason. I can't quite put my finger on why that is. And I'm a person who actually likes the movies up to the 4th one so it's not that part of it. They just felt a bit more tedious. There was one annoying level in the third film too though, particularly for the compass. Speaking of the compass again sometimes Captain Jack Sparrow would get stuck and not walk up small little stairs or a tiny bump or slow to a crawl while going up and that made the slowness all the more annoying. And while I don't like the platinum icon, at least it's better than the other three I've earned this year. So many LEGO games have ugly ass platinum icons and at least this one isn't just some ugly lego cup or just some random lego object that's not even a platinum color or interesting to look at... or a reused image from another game's platinum icon... Spoiler Indiana Jones 2 | Star Wars III | Batman 3 Another LEGO game down, and now for a long break. I wouldn't mind playing through a game just to play through the story, but free mode really takes it out of you. So maybe I'll pop into one of the games I actually own sooner and just let it hang for the 100%, a lot of my LEGO plats are year+ platinums after all. I was using PS Now for this one since I don't want to buy PS3 LEGO games at this point, and just on the off chance it's ever removed I'd like to make sure it's done so felt compelled to finish it all which isn't exactly a fun experience. Doing the Harry Potter games is going to suck when I get around to those, and I'm more worried about those being "upgraded" to the PS4 versions and not having the ability to plat them on PS3 anymore without tracking down copies myself.

Popular Post seyhano
Plat #37 Bioshock 2 Completion : %100 Enjoyment : 10 /10 Difficulty : 10/6 ( without glitch ) - 10/1 ( infinite health glitch ) Very good gameplay and story. I wish I could play earlier. I had already bioshock 1 plat and second adventure now finished. Infinite health glitch makes your plat easier and one playthrough with hard difficulty is enough to get all main game trophies. There are many videos about health glitch in YouTube. You will be unsuccesfull in your first tries but you will get use to do it easily after few practise. DLCs were most probably the best addition I had ever played. Now I am ready for the bioshock infinite. I just read bad comments about bs infinite. I hope it is also fine, I don’t know. Popular Post ZitMeatloaf
#49 - Super Stardust Ultra "Platinum" I didn't think I'd end up playing Stardust again, but when my son asked to play it I got sucked in. I never bought any of the DLC for the PS3 version, so this was my first time experiencing any mode other than Arcade. In the world of Housemarque twin stick shooters, overall I'd say Stardust is a bit more difficult than Resogun. Both are great games. Resogun has a name other than "Platinum" for its platinum trophy, so there's that. I also recently finished Portal on PS3. You'll just have to take my word for it on that one.

Popular Post RedRodriguez87
#299: Collectosaurus Hooray, now I have every Wonderbook platinum!! The most involved of all the Wonderbook games, with Book flipping, Move waving, , shouting, page exploring and mini-game completing. It's definitely my favorite of the series, with Diggs in second. I always enjoyed nature documentaries turned into video games, and this is easily the greatest example of one. I figured this was based off of a TV series, but I was off a bit. It's actually based on a MOVIE. Yeah, one of the options and trophy names references movie stars. So naturally, I looked it up, thinking it would be something akin to March of the Penguins. What surprised me how was how low the ratings were. Here, just check out the scores for it. https://www.google.com/search?q=walking+with+the+dinosaurs+movie&rlz=1C1CHBF_enUS756US756&oq=walk&aqs=chrome.0.69i59j46j69i59j69i57j69i60l3j69i65.1487j0j4&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8 Yeesh, I didn't know what the scores would be like, but I didn't expect them to be THAT. Skimming through the reviews, I noticed alot of mentions of "bad dubbing". So I said, "Oh, OK, like maybe the narrator made one too many bad jokes" but even then that didn't seem like enough for ratings so low, so I figure alright, I will just go ahead and look up a clip of it. And what I found..... Yyyeeeaaahhh, I can't do it justice, just check it out for yourselves. It's really, REALLY...... something. Needless to say, I'm not gonna be rushing to check this out. Whoever was in charge of the voiceovers should've been sacked early. Like, you want an example of "not trying", here it is. Right here. You'd think it be easier just to follow other documentaries and let the animals and their animations tell the story, but no, someone was so insistent that only dumb little kids would see this movie they went "Let's go for cringe, y'all. TYRANNICALSARAUS CRINGE" Now, there exists a cut that has no voiceovers, but still, my interest in this series has already waned, so whatevs. Edited April 7, 2020 by RedRodriguez87

Popular Post Darghel
#68 World War One Hero (Battlefield 1) Difficulty: Beyond hard mode campaign, the online might take a while. Time to Complete: 1 week (didn't 100%) Recommended: yeah but mind the online trophies I haven't purchased a proper battlefield game since BF4 on pc, even though I still have great memories of 3 on my ps3 (bear with me, my pc was crap!) so it's been a while since I wanted to try battlefield again (not counting starwars battlefront for now) and I saw this on sale: what a great chance to jump in am I right? Well...so and so. For starters, I really enjoyed the campaign: the gritty atmosphere of WW1 felt really immersive and it definitely had me hooked, even though I wasn't really into the idea of starting out as a tank but whatever. I started out in hard mode and it wasn't so difficulty which was a relief after the struggle of modern warfare remastered. Finishing the campaign was pretty easy and after that I went with collectibles - a guide is very welcome, cause some manuals are well hidden - and challenges, which oddly enough only the first campaign levels had very tough ones (the 36 field cannons and the 10 planes in 30 seconds) while the rest was fairly easy. So overall it wasn't hard...but then comes the online, and here comes my big gripe with the game. I didn't really enjoy the multiplayer a whole lot: for one it felt my guns very underpowered against the ones of the enemies, in particular high leveled ones, so i felt like I was gimped from the start. Secondly, during modes like conquest or operations, there was a heavy usage of vehicles which is both fun and annoying: it's fun to drive a tank and kill enemy soldiers but less fun when said enemy soldiers can easily destroy it with a few bombs. Granted, I can see that's the balance there: bigger targets mean more hp but easier to hit, but it also meant that if nobody took care of them you could die so easily because any vehicle can most likely 1 shot you and believe me it wasn't fun getting bombed from yet another plane! This is where the only trophy rant comes: getting all infantry class to 2 is not hard but it is grindy and will take a while, at least a few hours, which I feel it's intentional as you can BUY levels with real money, and I felt only the scout and support to be the most fun class to use, with medic being the third only because they had really crappy starting weapons but at least they can heal and resurrect. Assault was boring and unless you played against vehicles they felt really underwhelming. In addition, being an older battlefield game, I don't think I'll even bother with 100% it: I tried to do an expansion map and there was literally nobody playing it so I had to go back to the ones people play, making the rest of the game "kinda dead". I could find players though, probably about a thousand but not sure, so if you play to get the plat with this game either do it now that people still play it, especially the classes, or don't bother at all because when the next BF comes out it might be dead...er? Enough with my rambling: time to think of my 69th plat. And this time I know what to pick!

Popular Post Zach
#162 Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Campaign Remastered Enjoyment: 9.5/10 Difficulty: 4/10 Time: 12-14hrs HELL YEAH. I'm so happy that Modern Warfare 2 surprised dropped last week. Sure it blows that Multiplayer and Spec Ops weren't included, but the story is amazing and you can't beat the $20 price tag. When it comes to trophies, all old campaign trophies return, but also new trophies are added to make up for lack of Spec Ops trophies! For example, I love the new "Immortal" trophy. This trophy has you beat all missions without dying or reloading checkpoint on any difficulty. Sure you can just play on recruit, but it's still a fun trophy to go for. When it comes to difficulty (4/10), the game is much easier to platinum without Spec Ops. I think with Spec Ops the game is a 6/10. I still gave it a 4 because Veteran isn't a pushover like it is in games like Ghosts or Infinite Warfare. When it comes to time, my first playthrough (veteran, side trophies, and collectibles) It took me about 9-10hrs. My second playthrough was literally a fast rush on recruit without dying which took me 3-4hrs. This is a Call Of Duty. Don't expect a really long game lol. Anyways, this is one of the best CoDs of all time so it's well worth the price. My top 5 CoD: 1) Black Ops 1 2) Modern Warfare 2 3) New Modern Warfare 4) Black Ops 2 5) MW1

Popular Post Undead Wolf
#312 - Final Fantasy XIII-2 Master of Time Mastered the timeline and obtained every trophy available. A definite improvement over the first FFXIII game. I mean for starters, you play as *the* cutest girl in the trilogy, so that's a big plus. This game is just a lot more consistent in its quality, whereas the previous game was dog shit up until the end/post-game. It also takes itself far less seriously, and when you have a plot as bad as the FFXIII trilogy, that can only be a good thing. Improvements were made to the combat, and you even have a monster-catching mechanic that takes up the third spot in your party. Having that much freedom when it comes to party management is very liberating after playing the first game which forced you to use certain members for most of it. Another thing this game improves upon is the level design. Gone are the linear corridors and fixed enemy locations, replaced with much more open maps and random encounters. It's all around just a much better JRPG than the first game could ever hope to be. The platinum was much less of a hassle too. I genuinely enjoyed my time with this game. I'll be playing Lightning Returns next. Back when I originally played the FFXIII trilogy, that was my favourite out of the lot, so we'll see if that remains the case now...
Popular Post Lilseb93
#220 - Resident Evil 3 Nemesis is a real bitch and absolute nightmare on Inferno difficulty, especially the final boss. Although I strangely had a harder time with the final boss on Nightmare difficulty than Inferno. Maybe I just got better at dodging, but I might have lucked out at times. That boss was poorly designed and broken. Regardless, it was a good game. I wish they kept things from the original game like the clocktower and the park though. It didn't need to be this short. It was very cinematic. A lot of the scenes felt like Uncharted or Evil Within. Overall, it could have been better, but it's still pretty good and fun.
Popular Post Ala-Arska
SteamWorld Heist (PS4) Across The Universe Divide Collect every trophy in SteamWorld Heist Faster time than on Vita, but that took less turns. So...Lester? Fester? Every bit as good as its Vita counterpart. Taking turns, lining your shot perfectly, hoping for the enemy to miss on its turn. Being a robot scoundrel. In space. Yee-haa Despite repeating myself from my PS Vita thoughts a week ago, I once again want to compliment everything in this game. Visuals are even more clear and crisp on big screen. What a surprise, HD tends to do that. But still, it is pretty to look at. I can't stress enough how in its place the whole soundtrack is. I keep hearing those tunes even in my sleep. The songs are performed by a group called Steam Powered Giraffe, there's even robot versions of them playing at cantinas and bars The game can be a bit unfair sometimes, with RNG playing a part in enemy placements and their shots. But only a bit, and it's really no biggie. Other than that, it's not brutally difficult. Unless you're accidentally exploded by a ricochet from your own BFG... Farming for rare collectables, hats in this case, can suck and blow at the same time. Out of 35~ish hours, about 10 was from getting those pesky ones I did like the idea of shooting the hat off of adversary's head before being able to collect it. Just like in wicky wicky wild wild west! With it being a cross-buy and all, SteamWorld Heist is a, wait for it, steal. And it comes with more puns than yours truly
