Popular Post stevenanthony88
#31 - The Last of Us Part 2 This game has been an incredibly immersive experience, and ever since starting it I haven't touched any other game. I felt obligated to get this platinum, even though the difficulty of the platinum is not that high ( I give it a 3 out of 10) I am happy did not search for anything related to the game before playing, and avoided spoilers.

Popular Post RedRodriguez87
PS4 #313: Grandmaster OK, OK, so it wasn't a terrible experience like I thought it would be. The trophy list DID kinda take away from it, but still it IS one of those games that gets easier as you go along. It is on me that I attempted arguably the hardest trophies my first time..... It was fun I guess, though my biggest takeaway, and the reason I bought it, was that the graphics reminded me of those old Sega Master System/Game Gear games.
Popular Post Sword
#34 Vengeance Complete Disgaea 5: Alliance of Vengeance ? "A riveting tale of demons, tragedy, loss, redemption, and doods." - Prinny, in Search of Sardines Rating: 10/10 Difficulty: 3/10 Platinum Difficulty: 4/10 ? Few grindy games aside from the Tales, Final Fantasy and Star Ocean series have captivated me so much that I'd drop everything to completely play through from start to finish, despite the grind. In Disgaea the grind becomes part of the game play mechanics. You never feel like you're uselessly grinding. Every part of the grind has a purpose and the results are the most crazy, fun and enjoyable stat/damage numbers you could conceive. Having health in the hundreds of millions and stat points in the tens of millions is so much fun to look at and when you finally topple the tyrants of the game... you feel truly unbeatable. This game is a 10/10 for me because it captures everything I'd ever want in a game: crazy leveling, meaningful grinding, crazy character growth and rewards for your efforts. Too often so many games have little to no post-game content and it really drives me insane. Disgaea is just one big tutorial during the story until you hit the post-game, which is where the actual game starts. The story in this particular entry is more serious than the previous entries (except perhaps D1), yet still manages to find moments to slip in humor. Seraphina was my least favorite character in the end and her character arc felt really pale compared to everyone else's. ✦ Disgaea 5 is my first entry in the Disgaea series. 145 hours to Platinum with over 1 month taken from first trophy to final trophy. No Prinnies were harmed in the making of this Platinum... ... probably. Edited July 20, 2020 by Sword

Popular Post Carol
#195 LEGO Ninjago Movie: The Videogame Grand Master of Trophies Unlock All Trophies We received this game for free and, after such a serious and emotionally-heavy game, like TLOU 2, this Lego game was a nice change of pace. I'm not that familiar with Lego games and I understand that there may be better ones, but this one was still a very fun game to play. In general, it's also a very easy game and, in my opinion, the fact that these types of games are easy is also part of the fun! Getting the platinum was also straightforward and enjoyable. Only reaching certain collectibles and a couple of races were a bit trickier. Edited July 20, 2020 by Carol
Popular Post AK-1138
Platinums #530-533: Difficulty: 2.5/10 Playtime: 10-25 minutes (heavily luck based) Enjoyment: 5.5/10 Retro arcadey shooter in which you face off against... well... many faces. Are they the Faces of Evil, and you must conquer each? Who knows. Anyways, it's a random grab bag of fast paced shootey madness. Not much challenge to face up to, but a decent time to be had. It's easy to get into, but the randomness of it all can screw ya, so you gotta keep on your toes. Making it through normal levels is usually painless; at the end of each you get a random hat which can really swing things in your favour, or offer some added challenge should you want it. Unfortunately, the bosses are poorly balanced. Some are no-effort jokes, and some are harder than average. And morever, very few of the obstacles that appear in normal levels suitably prepare you for these harder bosses, so it comes off more than a little unfair. Even so, the trophy chase is a pretty painless and fast-paced one. You'll have to be both lucky and skillful to make it onto the PSNP leaderboards, and by the time I had gotten a bit better, Lady Luck had long departed for the lady's room, so no dice for me. Failure does offer some untoward repetition, but we're talking just minutes here, so it's okay by my book. It just seems like it's a little too random for its own good sometimes. Though hardly the stuff you'd write home about (writing a post on a forum is different ?) it's a fun enough concept that doesn't wear out its welcome, especially since it operates on a Forrest Gump Box o' Chocolates Analogy ethos. It won't leave many faces all that impressed, but it is what it is, and it ain't no more.
Popular Post RoastedPeanut
#77 - Resident Evil 2 Racoon City Native Difficulty - 6/10 Enjoyment - 9/10 I have so many great memories of the original Resident Evil 2. Ahhh the days of constantly renting a copy from my local Civic Video. I was excited for the remake and it didn't disappoint one bit. Yes, it took me awhile seeing as I did buy it on the day of release, but I kind of got side tracked with a few things. The multiple playthroughs never got old and I absolutely loved playing on Hardcore. It just added that extra layer of tension and made every Mr X encounter one full of dread.

Popular Post madbuk
#379 - Far Cry 3: Classic Edition This is one of the first FPS games I ever played. In fact, looking back at my trophy timestamps, this might have even been the first I ever played. Can't believe it has been over 6 years since then. I remember enjoying my time with this on PS3 quite a bit, but not enough to bother with Far Cry 4/Far Cry 5 so this and Blood Dragon were the only ones I ever played. It was a great time replaying this and it was even better than I remembered it being (so much so that I even ended up buying Far Cry 4 and 5 as well lol) The story is nothing special and I find Vaas to be heavily overrated, but it's serviceable. I really enjoyed all the radio towers and caves and underwater caverns and tombs that you explore for collectibles, although I do hope Far Cry 4 makes the towers even more complicated to traverse. I hear 5 removes them entirely which is very disappointing. The outposts got a little tedious but thankfully there are only about 30 of them so it's not too bad. I'm not a big fan of the hunting mechanics and how you can only carry a single weapon unless you go out of your way to find specific animals or get lucky and come across them randomly like I did. That part of the games just feels tedious. I'm definitely looking forward to Far Cry 4, but I won't be starting it any time soon. Got other games I want to focus on first.

Popular Post DF007gamer
PLATINUM #166 The Limits of the PossibleCollect all trophies PLAT RARITY - 7.72% HOURS TO PLAT - 50 HRS ENJOYMENT - 10/10 PLAT DIFFICULTY - 3/10 WHEN THE TIME OF THE WHITE FROST COMES, DON'T EAT THE YELLOW SNOW I have to say I've fallen in love with the witcher lore and universe. After platting all the Dark Souls and Bloodbourne I was looking for something to replace that as I was left with a hole in my gaming heart. So decided to give witcher a second chance (Played it before and didn't enjoy it for some stupid reason....maybe timing was bad) and starting off the DEATH MARCH difficullty and it was instant gratification. It scratched that itch I was looking for. It did take 125 hours to plat but I spent much more time after the plat in the open world finishing off Hearts of Stone and other small quests. I've put BLOOD AND WINE I've put on Ice as I would like to have something to look forward to play in a few months just to get back into the witcher universe. Know I'm not saying it's a perfect game because there are some minor issues which are part and parcel of big open world games. PLAT DIFFICULTY Reason I gave it a 3/10 it because its the way I set up the game before hand. Like with any game I play I first gather enough resources(for upgrades) and try and get the best weapons/gear at each level I go up. Gamers who find this a 7/10 difficultly were maybe trying to rush through it and not bother leveling up properly imo. It's a sin to rush through this game. One last thing........the dev that decided to put fucking candles by the characters/loot whereby you have to press X to interact with should be fired. Going into a room and looting everything and then pressing X 10 times over a bag with the candle in the way is worse then having lag on a online gamen Argggggghh.
Popular Post iFraaN97
# 274 - Kingdom Hearts: Dream Drop Distance Enjoyment : 8 / 10Difficulty: 4 / 10 I remember I really wanted to play this game on my 3DS, glad I didn't, because this remaster is amazing, so smooth I still prefer Birth By Sleep over this, but this was fun too. The story was surprisingly good for what I expected and I really enjoyed the flowmotion mechanics, also the Dream Eaters stuff wasn't that bad at all either. Trophy wise I was able to get everything done on a single Proud difficulty playthrough (around 45h for the 100%). The magic commands are waaay too powerful in this game
Popular Post Dzeni
#6: Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm ____________________________________ Perfect Storm Master Enjoyment: 7.5/10 Difficulty: 4/10 (some battles in the last story arc were really challenging) I'm a big Naruto fan. It's been a huge part of my childhood, so it naturally means a lot to me. Been wanting to play the Storm series for a while now, so I'm glad I finally have the time (or maybe nerves?) to do so. Now that the easiest one is out of the way, I'm going for the next three!

Popular Post yellowwindow7
Platinum / Mini Ninjas wow! i'm way too late Late LATE to the party to play and plat this game lol! every time i'm planning to pick it up i ended up on buying something else, i downloaded a name randomiser err.. something app on my phone so each time i'm planning on buying some selected digital games and couldn't decide which one should i pick since i'm running on a budget ? i put the name of the games i'm planning to pick up and each time i put this game on the list the name randomiser pick something else, except this month though when this game finally win. it's a strange timing too when everyone right now is playing ghost of tsushima, i went picking this game up. not saying GOT is not good or something like that, in fact me and my brother are gonna pick it up any time soon... at least it's not banned in here like TLOU2 dose. anyway i gotta say, Mini Ninjas is a really cute fun game made by the same guys who did the Hitman series " IO interactive " the exploration is really fun in this game and some of the levels are way too big despite that the game is linear, it run solidly at 60FPS and only drops when i shower myself under a waterfall, but regardless the controls is really smooth. the game is aimed at kids so there's no violence nor even a single drop of a blood despite it being a ninja game. my only takes is that the boss fights involve QTE instead of raw gameplay and skills except the final boss which was very annoyng. also i know it's a kids game which means you don't have to takes it too seriously but i wish the stealth mechanics are more... stealthy, because when you take an enemy down stealthy every other enemy in the area will get alerted and rush to your location, if there's no trophy involve stealth takes down i would not gonna consider this an issue but there is a trophy require you to defeat 100 enemies using stealth attack, this is also weird too since these guys knows how to make stealthy games, just look at the Hitman series.

Popular Post voodoo_eyes
#485 - Days Gone This one was a bit rough. While enjoyable for the most part, some of the mechanics weren't great. Wasn't a fan of the whole bike and fuel thing, same goes for the hordes as they went overboard with it. The XP grind also felt unnecessary and half the skills were crap. Worst part was softlocking the game half a dozen times. Had to do one mission several times over, as it wouldn't spawn the story segment. Voice-acting and story are solid, as are the visuals (if you don't look at the hair). That and the gameplay being quite fun saved it a bit. Enjoyment: 7 Difficulty: 4
Popular Post StressEater
I just finished up Uncharted: The Lost Legacy. It was well over due. Definitely not the best game in the series. In fact it might be the worst. The part that sticks out the most was the last level on the train. For some reason I was unable to move well. I kept getting stuck on boxes, falling off the train, jumping in the wrong direction, running into Chloe, and this weird rendering glitch. But, the good news is that it is finally finished and I can move on.

Popular Post Ya_Boy_James
#32 - MANEATER Platinum Obtain all other trophies HUNGRY SHARK EAT STUFF. I foremost bought Maneater to support local developer & publisher Tripwire Interactive after playing Killing Floor 2 for free, given that it looked novel and fun enough. The game is paced well (10+ hours) so that you shouldn't be left grinding for much once you've leveled up, explored the map, and completed the main story. Chris Parnell (Cyril from Archer, also voice in Rick and Morty) narrates the game and delivers humor that also keeps things enjoyable as you progress. BITE CHOMP THRASH.
