Popular Post Milk64oz
Dead by Daylight Dead by Daylight Plat No.110 "Collected all the trophies." Ultra Rare 0.2% PSN / Ultra Rare 1.71% PSNP Enjoyment Addictiveness: 10/10 Time Taken: 10 months, 1 week, 4 days (natural play). Actually my 2nd most recent platinum, but I don't wanna skip it. Some thoughts I had after hearing about this game on Steam in 2016...“Sounds intense, I wonder what that’s like”...“It looks ugly AF, and I’d die anyway, but nice concept”...Then when it came to PS in 2017, “Hmmm”. A year later to PS Plus, “Okay, I own it now. Someday, if I feel like piercing a toxic community, then I'll try it”. When the Netflix STRANGER THINGS partnership was announced in late 2018: “I’m giving this game my BEST shot. BITE me”. DBD is a 1v4 game where you choose between playing both many original, and licensed horror characters. I started out as a Killer, because a loss in that mode didn’t sound so bad. The other players just get away? Yeah, I’d risk hanging from a killer’s sacrificial hook AFTER I saw how a hundred other players dealt with me hunting them. I played only Hag in the beginning because she’s auto-selected on a fresh account, and I had no idea how to change characters (I thought I had to unlock them, lol). She’s a slow runner, designed around placing teleport traps, and camping the hook, so just happened to be perfect for the amoral monster that I was. It’s possible to end games very early as Killer, with survivors’ poor decision-making being a huge factor, but I learned that’s not generally what you want to do. The earlier you end a match, without having chased, hit and repeatedly hooked, then the less bloodpoints (for progression/resources) you'll receive. I could go on commenting on DBD, it’s mechanics, players, and my story, but the only thing I really want to impart is how awesome it feels as a survivor, when you’re injured (1-hittable), but you’ve looped the killer to a point where they willingly turn their back on you; you watch them leave, and suddenly you’re flanked by witnesses who rapidly restore your lost health state, so you can make more plays. This MP game can make you feel like you're the main character (pretty often), once you're halfway knowledgeable and bold. Also, that Lost Legacy “Don’t Ruin The Moment” platinum screenshot (a few pages back), with Chloe bracing against the giant water explosion is hilarious. ? Popular Post AusLeviathan
# 12 - Shadow of the Colossus I found out about this game about ten years ago when I saw video of game play from the original PS2 version but I never got around to playing it back then. It was clearly a very innovative game for it's time and even today it stands out as a very unusual game with its lack of enemies, few collectibles and focus on locating and defeating 16 Bosses. It's sort of interesting to play an open world game where there's so little to do outside of play the story and explore. The variety of ways in which you have to take out the Colossi also really makes the game stand out and memorable, even if the game doesn't really give you good advice at times requiring you to do something that you've never done before and never will again without explaining how to do it. It could have used some improved controls and camera, certain jumps are really tricky to pull off especially when you're jumping from one moving surface to another and the camera can have trouble keeping up with you which can throw off which direction your moving in. The controls for the horse can get really annoying, they've gone for a realistic approach where it feels like you're controlling the rider leading the horse and it doesn't work in the narrow areas that you must travel through. Hardest Trophy - Speed King - The normal time attacks aren't too bad but the hard time attacks can be tricky with some of the Colossi. The 4th and 9th Colossi require you to lead them to certain spots and hope their AI will get them to that spot and keep them there for long enough. The 13th Colossus has the ability to go underground after you take out every third of it's help which prolongs the battle but thankfully by luck I fell off just after taking out that amount of health and realised that if you do that it won't go underground which will save you a few minutes. The 3rd Colossus was the hardest, requiring the AI to do something quickly so you can climb it and having weak spots in two different directions from where you climb up onto it, plus a third weak spot in a very difficult to reach spot. Most Annoying Trophy - Intrepid Mortal - You have to beat about 78 Colossi which means either playing through the game five times (the long way) or repeatedly killing the first two Colossi (the short way). It doesn't help that the only way to know if you've maxed out a stat is to see if it's no longer increasing when you beat a Colossus or collect a lizard tail/fruit. Overall a unique experience of a game that was both fun an challenging. Edited August 17, 2020 by AusLeviathan

Popular Post DamagingRob
#474- Cyberdimension Neptunia: 4 Goddesses Online 4 Goddesses Online Master Proof you finished playing 4 Goddesses Online. Thank you for playing this far! Ugh.. Probably one of the worst in the series. I don't recall seeing any bugs in the others. But in this one, my character would get stuck in place and I'd be unable to move, the camera broke, and it spawned two of the same boss once (which led to me dying, since I was fighting twice what I should have been). It's also very boring, since there are so many quests and they just keep upping the bosses HP. Leading to long, drawn out fights. I had to switch to Uni for the post game, after playing as Noire during the story. As I said, Noire would get frozen in place and I'd just end up dying. You're practically forced to use a ranged fighter. And I had to level her up a lot first, since the game doesn't level up inactive party members. Fml for using the starting four the entire time. Took me about 21 and a half hours of playtime, most of which wasn't all that enjoyable. Bugs and grind galore.. #475- Batman: The Evil Within I Am the Night Completed Batman: The Enemy Within A Telltale game. I liked this season way more than the first. Joker steals the show. #476-Save the Ninja Clan Save the Ninja Clan Platinum Good job! Completed all tasks! Looked in my backlog for something short, that I could get through before today was over. And settled on this. Wasn't a bad, little game. Compared to Super Meat Boy, so expect to die a lot. Lol. But overall, it's not too difficult. Can even cheese most of it on PS4 with an exploit that lets you use every ninja, shortcuts for some levels, and picking short and easy levels for the no death trophies (mentioned in the guide's comment section). Though I did 1-5, 11, 13, 21, 24, and 29. Platinum images: Spoiler
Popular Post AusLeviathan
# 13 - Ratchet & Clank The Hero of Heroes This was a pretty good remake and the integration of scenes from the movies were done well, they look better than the rest of the cut scenes but other than that they do fell like they belong in the game. The lack of interaction between Ratchet and Clank is very noticeable though, considering how much the original was built of that interaction it leaves the game feeling empty at times. Plus Ratchet being a more traditional hero from the start takes away his character arc from the original. Looking forward to Rift Apart. Hardest Trophy - Faster than a Speeding Amoeboid - This is about five seconds faster than it should be, even if your absolutely perfect and boosting from beginning to end you'll still likely just barely make it in time. Plus the rubber band AI can end up causing you to miss out even if you do manage to achieve the required time. Most Annoying Trophy - Death By Disco - Why would you put something like this in a game that doesn't feature an in game record of enemies for you to look up. The amount of one time enemies that don't respawn, some of which I would never have expected to be required for this trophy, requires you to pay attention the entire game and force every enemy to dance just to be sure. I feel for anyone who got to the end of a play through only to not get this trophy because they didn't realise the tentacles on the train early in the game counted as an enemy for the trophy, mostly because that's what happened to me. Popular Post JaM
#322 Blasphemous *woohoo* barely hanging at 46th Fastest The Penitent One Unlock all of the Trophies. Nothing to see here folks...just me and bro being emo for a moment Well, the name of the game says it all. Bloods. Bloods. Bloods everywhere. A very gory Metroidvania imo, but I dunno... I am not huge fan of gore but I find some battles satisfying (I blame God of War) and there are also some parts that made me uncomfortable *cough* Warm and Soft *cough*. The Plot Well, in one word - Blasphemous. Interesting lore. Those side quests though...why does this game hate happy ending? Gameplay Well, it is Metroidvania so if you are familiar with the genre, you probably know how to play most of the game's mechanics. The parry mechanics was quite nice addition - especially punishing those pesky and bulky monsters. No Double Jump though... and I think this was the first time that there are no vampires, no dogs/wolf, no snakes and no spiders were harm during this game. Trophies I might agree with the 7/10. The game itself is not that hard though, what makes it tougher is that trophy that not allow you to use your potions during boss battles. I also didn't had fun with the speedrun trophy, the battle with Esdras with not much upgrades got to my nerves. Having that much missable trophies worried me at first but most of them are hard to miss, also the additional stuffs on Patch/DLC helped me at some point. Overall, aside from blasphemy/too much gore in the game I had fun playing it from start to end. The road to plat lessen the fun at some point but very satisfying. Would recommend to anyone that enjoy playing Metroidvania - that is if you don't mind the gore. Anyway, I need to playing something fluffy and happy right away. BTW, my favorite part in the game Time to find My Happy Place again.

Hard difficulty isn't too hard but still it has a few frustrating moments like the first real fight with the Big Sister. Popular Post RoastedPeanut
#81 - Valkyria Chronicles Valkyrie of the Battlefield Difficulty - 5/10 Enjoyment - 10/10 What a game. One of those amazing games I loved playing on PS3, even without trophies. While not necessarily being one of the hardest games out there, it is a solid strategy game where one wrong move can easily cost you dearly. I had a lot of fun A ranking all the missions, especially all of the skirmish missions on hard (Marberry Shore I'm looking at you!!). I kind of got a bit distracted with other games, hence the nearly two year platinum length, but I'll definitely be getting into Valkyria Chronicles 4 sooner rather than later.
Popular Post Conor
#74- HELLBLADE: SENUA'S SACRIFICE (PS4) Done Enjoyment: 9/10 Challenge: 3/10 Time: 23 hours, 32 minutes, 25 seconds Rarity: 10.5% Very Rare (PSN) / 41.09% Uncommon (PSNProfiles) Hardest Trophy: Stories From the North- Collect all of the Lorestones "A life without loss is one without love..." This is one I've been wanting to play for a very long time. Up until this, the only Ninja Theory game I'd played was DmC: Devil May Cry which, contrary to what pretty much everyone else says, is a really good game with fun, energetic combat. So I was a bit surprised to see how much slower and deliberate this title was. But I don't mean that in a bad way. Hellblade is a vessel for a story and message that I think is pretty unique in gaming- a battle which is all in the mind of the protagonist, the titular Senua. A Pict woman suffering from severe psychosis, Senua battles the demons in her head, manifesting as literal demons in the form of Northmen (Vikings) who killed her beloved as well as mythical Norse beings like Valravn, Surtr and Hela. Her journey to free the soul of her murdered love is really a journey to save her own soul and mind from the clutches of her "darkness" and repressed memories that drove her further into her illness, before finally letting go and accepting her grief as well as her "curse". The voices which plague her throughout the journey really lend to the sense of despair, combined with the dark, dreary environments which often shift and twist into more hellish landscapes. The presentation is extremely artful. Gameplay wise, I got real God of War vibes, as well as the Norse mythology setting. Collecting the lorestones fleshed out the story and world, hearing stories told by an Irish scholar whom Senua had met and she recalls the tales he told her while she lived in exile before the commencement of her journey. The combat is simple but not in a bad way. There are no level-ups, power-ups, HP or magic bars of any kind. You just fight until you vanquish your foes or until they vanquish you. You're threatened with a permadeath if you die too many times, but this isn't actually true- would have been cool if they added a mode that actually makes good on it. I mightn't know much about the subject of mental health issues personally, I do appreciate and applaud Ninja Theory for seeking advice and feedback from experts as well as real people who suffer from the issues depicted in the game. Senua is acted very well by Melina Juergens, a video editor for Ninja Theory who ended up being the lead actor and she deservedly won many awards for her portrayal. I guess I will have to buy an Xbox Series X to play the sequel eventually! I might even import a US copy with its separate trophy list so I can play and plat this game all over again!

Popular Post Carol
#196 Ghost of Tsushima Living Legend Obtain all trophies. I'm glad the PS4 generation ended with two great exclusives. For me, "The Last of Us Part II" instantly became this generation's masterpiece and "Ghost of Tsushima", although not exactly groundbreaking, in terms of gameplay, is also full of powerful moments. It has heroism, but also beauty and spirituality. I admit that I bought this game, not only because it's the last PS4 exclusive, but mainly because of its Japanese setting and the beauty of its visuals. Having this in consideration, it's safe to say that this game didn't disappoint me: it's gorgeous. I love nature and animals so much, that even though the road to the platinum can become a bit tiresome, due to all the repetition, I never stopped admiring how beautiful that open-world is. it's inevitable to stop and take pictures and I will try to share some of them later. Like it's common nowadays, the platinum is easy, but time-consuming. I really liked the traversal puzzles necessary to reach the Shinto Shrines, but liberating all the enemy camps and completing all the side quests was definitely boring. The quests aren't very original and always revolve around finding and killing some enemies. I'm happy to know that a new co-op mode is coming to the game and that it will be free! This was unexpected, but great news! I hope there will be some new trophies too!

Popular Post BlackSnake1435
Platinum #48 God of War III Difficulty: 4/10 Enjoy:9/10 With this entry I finish the God of War trilogy, without having first played the non nummerical ones that are cronologically in the middle. I must say, I jummped into the God of War series two years ago with the reboot on PS4, and even though I still think that God of War 2018 was way better (just because I prefer open-world games); God of War 3 definetely doesn't disappoint anyone, its as good as the previous ones and I must admit, I enjoyed it even more. its just amazing to have a game that gets you into the ancient greek mithology and its main characters, however, the only thing I dislike about the entire series is probably Krato's selfish attitude toward the others around him and how his seek for vengeance is his motivation for going through the game. I didn't see much of that after the reboot. With all that said, I'm looking forward to play more games of this great franchise.

I did enjoy the game in some way but there is still some issue that make me frustrated while playing. If you just want to get the trophy suggest playing it on easy. Only play hard mode for the 1st game since you need that to get the S rank. The randomness of the NPC attack keep making the rescue mission in both game rather difficult sometime. That the only thing i dislike, the rest of the game is a very good mecha game with a somewhat good story, that is pretty good in the PS2 era. Now that this is done. I can get back to finish another kojima game which is MGS4, before playing death stranding

Popular Post Rick_Sanchez
Platinum #250 Fun: 9/10 Difficulty: 8/10 (3/10 if you use the Veteran glitch) Call of Duty 4 Modern Warfare has been remastered and looks freaking gorgeous. The trophy list is not difficult for the most part unless you decide to play through the game on Veteran without using a glitch that allows you to play most of the level on recruit difficulty which I didn't use for the most part outside of Mile High Club which is brutally difficult on Veteran. Most of the trophies you will get by clearing the game and there are a few miscellaneous trophies that can be earned on certain levels. You also need to pick up all the intel on all the levels but using a guide will make that easy. If you loved it when it first came out, I do recommend picking it back up to relive this great game again. Platinum #251 Fun: 8/10 Difficulty: Dominion/10 (after Dominion, 5/10) I have only one very important warning before attempting this platinum. Get the Dominion trophy out of the way first. It is glitched to hell and doesn't unlock when it should. To get it, you have to play on a Japanese server which you can't control if you connect to one or not. If you can use a VPN, then this isn't an issue. With that out of the way, Call of Duty Infinite Warfare takes you to space combat using cool futuristic weapons and a lot of space jet combat which is a lot of fun. You are in the command of your own space cruiser and you have a choice of what missions you want to take in order. Veteran isn't that difficult either. Only two or three times did I have issues but after trial and error I got through. You do have to pick up all the weapons to scan them and find all the hidden armories for upgrades but only a handful you actually have to find as a chunk of them are main objectives you can't miss. Zombies return and it's a whole lot more fun with the first map taking place in a carnival area with arcade booths that features old Activision games you can play. The zombie trophies range from easy such as playing it 30 times and getting to round 10 or more to completing the easter egg which will net you most of the remaining zombie trophies. There's one for unlocking the hidden songs and you have to shoot hidden stuffed bears around the map and bear pictures on dart boards which can take a while to find all 100+ bears and not all locations may have been found yet.
