Popular Post SirWaWa
Resident Evil 6 This is the PS4 version of RE6 which includes all the DLC. Better resolution and smoother framerate is a big welcome, however there are some low res PS3 textures. I really enjoyed this one but the story was a bit longish for my liking. First run took me an hour or so per chapter for all twenty chapters over four campaigns, excluding continues just for the story portion. I really liked how the same story was told from four different perspectives at different times and with slightly different events if you played as the partner instead. I wish this concept was done more and done in a more polished fashion, not that it was terribly done in RE6 but I wouldn't call it highly executed. Not a very difficult platinum but there are few frustrating points. The AI logistics pathing is some what glitchy. Sometimes they continuously run into a wall instead of moving around it to get to the objective. I found the AI partner more useful than RE5's. They actually do damage and kill things. The GPS compass is extremely helpful if you get lost and makes the game much easier if the environment is too confusing. The game permanently saves if you complete the chapter or during typewriter checkpoints which are semi-rare. The DLC is not required for the platinum but is for 100% which I also finished. Pre-rendered cut scenes still look good but you can tell it's aging. I played this very casually with no sense of urgency except for the DLC. It probably took me 50 hours or so excluding the DLC and another 20 hours for the DLC. The DLC trophies are a grind so be prepared to commit time. The extra gameplay modes and co-op option adds alot of replay value. Overall a great game with imperfect imperfections.
Popular Post Phlegeth
#40 Conqueror of the Moon Acquired all other Trophies. Way easier than the first one. I mean like the grind and stuff, gameplay felt about the same. But yeah, having a map with all the stages and then all the extra stages apart made it way easier to know what was done. I lost track of where I was in the first game. Do not underestimate the power of good HUD. Story was pretty good too. I like how Archimedes hates Elizabeth, but doesn't know why because of the events of the first game.

I'm happy to got this platinum done and sometimes it may get boring but it is good for your brain to go through HO and Mini-game puzzles to begin with.
Popular Post Eramir
It’s been a while since I’ve posted. So here’s an update on what platinum trophies I have obtained: Platinum #86: Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition Difficulty: 4/10 Enjoyment: 8/10 I got this game for christmas and I wanted to play it, but I was certain I wouldn’t get the platinum. Once I started this game I really enjoyed myself and wanted to complete the singleplayer 100%. When I did that, I felt like I wasn’t finished with the game and decided to try the multiplayer trophies. I tried some solo boosting and joind a boosting group here on PSNP. Got in a great group and we boosted quite fast. I’ll play the second part later, and I will try to plat that too. Platinum #87: Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice Difficulty: 2/10 Enjoyment: 6/10 I borrowed this game from a friend. I heard a lot of praise for the storytelling and that this reflects how someone with a depression feels like. I can only say that this game didn’t click with me. I didn’t feel anything during the playthrough and I’m bummed out. Maybe it was because of my expectations, but I won’t be playing the sequel, even if it comes to Playstation 5. Platinum #88: Guardians of the Galaxy Difficulty: 1/10 Enjoyment: 7/10 Mixed feelings about this one. Got of on a good start, but it drags a bit in the middle, so that’s a shame. Not the best TellTalle game I’ve played, but I’ve enjoyed myself so that is enough. Platinum #89: Uncharted Lost Legacy Difficulty: 3/10 Enjoyment: 8/10 Wanted to get back tot his game, after getting the plats for the other Uncharted games. Really enjoyed myself, after forgetting almost everything about the story. The only con of this game is Chapter 4, the free roam and the amount of collectibles in that chapter. Next up: Ghost of Tsushima. Been playing that for a while and the story finally picks up. But I’ll come back to that later ?

Popular Post Henkie-Henkie
#40 - Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Campaign Remastered Although I got the platinum for the original last year, I was excited to replay the campaign again. Not really a difficult game to platinum (for a COD veteran), besides some time-consuming trophies. Where the original had Special Ops trophies, this remaster has replacements such as "Immortal" and "The Student Surpasses the Master". Because you can die quite easily even on recruit, Immortal was annoying sometimes, but not difficult. I actually enjoyed running the Pit, so beating the time was just a matter of time. #41 - Crash Bandicoot I never played this as a child, but it looked like a fun and challenging platformer. Well, it definitely was challenging... For me this is a platinum that I am really proud of (despite it being fairly common).
Popular Post yellowwindow7
The Hero of Heroes / Ratchet and Clank ( ps4 ) should have named the platinum trophy of this game ( Oh Boy! Out of Ammo ) instead. because you gonna runs out of ammo way too quickly and you gonna hear that all the time in the game... or maybe because i never lowered the difficulty under hard even on challenge mode, i don't know. back in the ps2 version that i played on the ps3 from the HD collection i didn't likes it as much as R&C 2 and 3. originally i played 2 way back in 2003 if not mistaken on the ps2, then 3 on the ps2 in 2005 again if not mistaken.. then the first game on the ps3 in 2014, the reason why i didn't liked the original first game is because it's a bit outdated in the controls, it playes like a ps1 game, there's a very few weapons that shoot straight as most of the weapons is basically you throw stuff at enemies and low range weapons, and even long range ones your shots don't go that far unless you use the sniper rifle or the heat sinking projectiles launcher something, i believe Insomniac did explain that they wanted their weapons to be more original and seen that traditional guns that can kill enemies from the distance could make the game easier, and they said the glove that throw grenades is their personal favorite. off to the remake and Oh Boy! i loved it way much better than the original. there's way too many life improvements in this remake re-boot re-imagine re-vision re-lombaxed whatever! they add all kinds of controls, the one from 2 and 3 and even the future series and when using the Sheepinator.. something or the flame thrower the controls goes to the original first game style if you didn't aim. even clank parts been over haled, no more that strategy Pikmin style gameplay, now it's more fluid and faster as you do everything yourself. though, not everything is perfect, you runs out of ammunition way too fast as i already mentioned, because they wanted to force you to tinker with the Holo-Cards collecting as they have the rest of the perks ( weapons upgrades is not enough ) like rises the chance of getting more ammo when breaking ammunition boxes " the irony " and double the damage your weapons can do and such. some of the changes is kinda weird, is it a sin if i said i liked the back tracking in the original ps2 version? there's a lots of tools you need to 100% the levels in the original and they're all been removed in the remake to simplified the levels and make them less backtracky. and i kinda liked ratchet personality in the original, he was bored and wanted to do something other than fixing stuff and when he got the chance or excuse to blow stuff up he became a galaxy hero by the choice of the people so fast as the fighting and stuff was so natural to him, in the remake he was this kid that is a nerd and a huge fan of the galactic ranger and wanted to become one of them so bad and once he join them he does the impossibles and became a well known member/Hero. and i liked the older characters more than the remaked ones, especially the shady guy that sells you the RYNO, in the original he talks like a gangster and even dressed like one and i always laugh when i meet him, now he's less shady and looks Cool and this time around he wants to trade holo-cards with you to gives you the RYNO in exchange. and ( Don't Kill Me For This Whoever You Are ) i think i'm the only person here who doesn't like clank's parts or the puzzle sections on any R&C game, i always see them as a part to hold and slow the player's down and kinda takes away the fun of shooting and blowing stuff nonstop. the platinum is fairly easy, i would say it's supposed to be less easier than the original HD version on the ps3, since there's no trophy of collecting this amount of bolts nonsense, but dear god that awful Death By Disco Bronze Trophy though, i had to replay the challenge mode 5 times to unlock it, thankfully i liked this remake so much which was a no problem to replay it again and again. lastly, i wish if sony didn't add those movie parts as a part of the in-game's cinematic's, it kinda giving it this cheap movie licensed games feels, as far as i know this game was supposed to comes early at the time but sony who was working on an animated movie based on the game itself delayed the game to release them both at the same time, and that was a mistake, the game did well and the movie flopped! sony claim that they used the game to promote the movie.. i did watched the movie last year, and i swear it's the other way around, it felt that the movie is a trailer for the game itself ? here's hoping that R&C 2 and 3 to have the same remake treatment as this on the ps5... no movie based on them this time please.. and sorry if this took too long to read. Popular Post JungleCat20
PLATINUM #313 That's a Wrap! This game was an interactive mystery that could've benefited from having scene skip or chapter select. I also didn't care for using the touch pad for all the decision making. Popular Post Don_carlito94
#65 Ghost of Tsushima Living Legend Obtain all trophies. Enjoyment: 9/10 Difficulty: 3/10 Right off the gate I would like to say that this is one of my favorite games on the PS4 to date. It's up there with Bloodborne, Sekiro, God of War and Red Dead Redemption 2. I would like to clarify that I'm a bit biased when it comes to japanese/samurai themed games, so Ghost being set in japan is already a big plus for me. The game is not something groundbreaking new as it has elements similar to other openworld games, but it improves upon some of the things I thought lacked in other open world games. The combat is addictive and well done with a simple combat system yet the game gives you a variety of ways to tackle your enemies. The stances adds variation to the combat aswell and because you get a variety of hit and kill animations when you kill different enemy types with the different stances It never felt repetitive, where as there were other games where I got tired of performing the same kill animations/takedowns after a while. If thats not enough you have tools and stealth weapons to add to the flavor when taking down enemies, I also prefered to combine a bit of stealth and head on fighting (samurai style) when ever I had the chance. The camera can be a hassle though in tight enviroments and the enemies are stupid or either deaf when you do stealth kills, so thats a few negative things regarding the combat. Would've loved more use of the grappling hook in more places but that's just my personal taste. It's also one of the most beautiful games I've played ever, I can't tell you how much time I've spend in photo mode, granted photography is one of my hobbies so no wonders . The Art direction was executed perfectly imo, yes the face animations aren't the best compared to RDR2 or TLOU2 but it didn't bother me personally. The minimal HUD was to my liking as I felt emerged into the game, feels like I'm not even playing a game but I'm in it. The fast loading and fast travel system omg I can't praise it enough. Long loading time, no fast travel or little travel issues = gone. I'm so happy! The story missions and side missions were executed very well. The story missions were obviously the meat of the dish but as much as I loved to continue them, the side missions for the side characters were so compelling that they kept me just as invested through out the game, and that's another element I thought lacked in many games = compelling side quests that don't feel out of place in the story. I don't want to spoil the story, so I'm just going to say that it was great and I thought the build up from the beginning to the very end was done beautifully. With a few minor issues I had with this game (more from a technical aspect), the best elements of Ghost simply overshadows those few cons that it wasn't that big of a deal through out my playthrough. I played this game on normal so obviously the game was a cakewalk. I'm definitely going to play it again at some point on lethal just for the sake of it because another playthrough from me is definitely excepted.
shxrpay
Platinum #233 ~ Stikbold! (PS4) Platinum Legacy Unlock all the trophies in Stikbold! This was a pretty fun and easy game in general. The bonus objectives in each level weren't hard either, some are a little frustrating though and take a little bit of time to get down. The all-star difficulty was easy, too, for all but one level. Oh, the dreaded boss mega coach. I probably spent 3 out of 7 hours playing this game on battle. What made it worse was that I did it solo. I eventually got it after I tried holding the dodgeball (i know, i was dumb, prob about 50 attempts with just leaving it at the bottom). Other than that, it was pretty fun and easy and I would totally recommend it for any of you PS Now users out there. There's a little bit of a grind at the end, but if you go for those trophies while doing the story you should be able to minimize the time that that takes by quite a bit.
Popular Post Fire
#254 - Danganronpa Ultra Despair Girls Pragmatism's Last Reward Earned every other trophy in the game Ultra despair girls is much different from Trigger Happy Havoc and Goodbye Despair (two games i really enjoyed). Instead of a VN murder mystery, it's a third person shooter. The best part of the game is the story but the worst part is an awful controls. The shooting is so annoying and slow. Upgrading a weapon didn't help at all, nor did skill upgrades made any difference. If we put that aside, it's a quick and easy platinum if you follow collectible guide. Otherwise it could take some time. Enjoyment 7/10 Difficulty 3/10 #255 - Far Cry: New Dawn Conqueror Earn all Trophies It's not one of the best FC games, but it's enjoyable. It presents as some kind of sequel to FC5, but it's a bit different. Enemies have health bars, there's different tiers for weapons (rank 1. 2. 3 and elite) and tiers for enemies. Upgrade system works similar to Primal, you have to get supplies and other materials (mostly ethanol for your base) by clearing outposts, expeditions, treasure hunts etc. So fairly easy game and a lot shorter story then FC5. Popular Post SirDave1988
# 118 Resident Evil 3 (PS4) So Long, RCObtain all trophies. What a long winded tale this one is. Overall, I enjoyed this game, especially on the initial playthrough when everything is completely new and fresh. It is pretty much a continuation of the kind of quality that RE2 Remake had established, only it is far, far too short in comparison. I guess the fact that they bundled RE Resistance with this should have been a bit of a sign that they knew it was light on content. I just don't understand though why they would take big content like the Clock Tower area and Mercenaries mode from the PS1 original completely out. What a bizarre decision. Also, this one was special to me as the original Resident Evil 3 was the first one I played in the series 20 years ago now and it got me invested in the franchise as a whole and made me a very big fan up to modern day. So, I had every intent to platinum this game from the beginning after doing so with the Resident Evil 2 Remake. I imagined it would be around the same in terms of difficulty, but then Nemesis Stage 3 on Inferno difficulty says, "Hold my beer" and well, that halted my progress indefinitely. That encounter was far more difficult than anything in RE2 Remake, purely from the fact that it felt completely unfair how Nemesis could hit you once, stun lock you into a 3 hit combo and that was that. So it was practically a final boss with a 1 hit kill and I just could not pass it. I couldn't even get past Stage 2 of 3 of the fight. While playing, I had acquired every unlockable in the Shop, expect the Infinite Rocket Launcher, much to my detriment as I would later find out. I did not know at the time that everything in the Shop added up to the EXACT amount of points you could possibly acquire from the in game Challenges, and as such, I was spending points on everything else first and, to be fair, a lot of those were very helpful in getting as far as I could with the trophy list. However, it left me unable to acquire the remaining points I needed for the Rocket Launcher to do my Inferno speed run, so I decided to put it on the shelf and move on to other games for the time being. A few months pass, with me occasionally wondering if I should try again from a new save and just unlock the Rocket Launcher from the start, but that would require at least 2, 3 or possibly more playthroughs on top of what I had already done. Then, the unlock all shop items DLC drops and I decided to get it, just to unlock the Rocket Launcher on it's own if nothing else and save me a lot of time. What I didn't know is it actually doubled all the shop items if you had unlocked them through the normal means beforehand, so this turned the platinum from absolutely rage inducingly hard to an absolute breeze. Despite the fact that I had not played the game in 3 months prior, I was able to breeze through easily and claim the plat. I admit, it was cheap (ironically) to buy the DLC and cop out that way, but it counteracted the cheapness of the last boss fight, so tit for tat as far as I'm concerned and I can finally get this one off the backlog. Props to you if you did it without the DLC, it is not as easy as the 41% earned platinum rate would suggest. Difficulty Rating:- 9/10 (without DLC), 4/10 (with DLC) Game Rating:- 7/10 Edited August 11, 2020 by SirDave1988
Popular Post Omar
#160 - Persona 5: Dancing in Starlight Dancing in Starlight - Obtained all trophies Achieved: August 10th, 2020 PSNP's RS: Uncommon Difficulty: 2 Enjoyment: 7 After wrapping up Star Ocean 4 I was craving something extra simple and this was just what I needed! I love rhythm games (even though I'm not that great at them ) and Persona 5 music is some of the coolest in gaming so how could I possibly resist? I was really glad to see they did not concoct some super elaborate storyline for this one, there's a focus on the dancing and the characters we all know and love and the game doesn't take itself too seriously. Some of the remixes are really cool (shoutout to Will Power's President Remix) and luckily the trophy set doesn't really ask much of you at all, only needing a couple of incursions into the hectic All Night difficulty setting. Overall I had some mindless fun and it was the perfect transition coming from such a meticulously planned platinum journey with SO4. Now, I'm off to a new series for me, already in absolute love with Atelier Ryza!

Popular Post flashpool23
149 - Mirror's Edge Catalyst The Few. The Elite. The platinum title definitely describes those who manage the time trials because they're a bit tight on the time. But that's also what was fun about playing them. Wandering the city of Glass was amazingly beautiful because graphics and music alike combined to make traversal a really fun sequence. Movement in the game (parkour style) also makes free roaming such a joy. But it's easily taken away after completing a certain mission since enemies become available and attack you if they spot you. Speaking of missions, the story was really not one to write home about. If you want anything but some fun doing parkour movement, I recommend looking elsewhere.
Popular Post DamagingRob
#473- MLB 14 The Show Done! Earn all of the MLB® 14 The Show™ Trophies. Well, back with another baseball game. This one at least didn't take me over 7 years to finish. Actually finished in less than 24 hours, and am the 5th fastest achiever as of now. But that doesn't mean it was a breeze.. A few trophies had me bitching up a storm on Discord. :/ First you have all of these player specific trophies, where you need to perform specific tasks with that player. So you'll have to keep playing and batting with everyone else, until you meet these goals. There's even one who has to hit 3 home runs, and not get an out in the process. Then there's seeing 10 pitches in one at bat. I still don't know exactly how I fouled off 8 pitches in a row. Lol. It really just takes time and practice to get the foul timing down, I think. And it finally clicked, I guess. And the worst is the rarest trophy in the entire list. You have to get a run every inning in a game. But it's not enough to just score every inning, it has to be exact. If you score 2 or more, you have to restart. If you score none, you have to restart. And it was the single most infuriating part of this game for me. I tried bunt hitting, but it just isn't effective enough. You'll sometimes strike out on bunt attempts, pop them up in the air for outs, or not outrun the throw to first. I'd get halfway through the game and fail. In the end, I got it by doing exactly what the trophy guide says. Lowering the power stats of all my guys, and praying they didn't hit a home run with someone on base. A few were still dangerously close, and I hit a solo home run in that game. But I eventually succeeded. And did I mention I was tagged out, while standing directly on the bag? The salt was a landfill, at that point. So yeah, not much else to say. About as good as 13, but with a much easier list. And still obtainable Plat. Edited August 12, 2020 by DamagingRob Got the Plat number wrong. :/
