Popular Post snakebit10
#320 My first ever Halloween platinum. I saved the last chapter of the last season for the trophy to pop. Anyway, Not a whole lot to say on the game as most people know by now what you are getting here with a Telltale game. Play through the whole game and get the platinum. In this collection they did remove the misc. trophies from the final season. For me I love these games and the story. Even after playing them so much they can still tug at your heart. It had been a long time for the first 2 seasons, so I had forgot certain parts of it. After this I doubt I would ever play these games again. Even if they did a new remaster collection on PS5, I think I am finally done with the Walking Dead. This collection also reminded me why I never play a series back to back games. It was quite exhausting to play through all the seasons and Michone to line this up for my Halloween plat. If it wasn't for that I may have broke it up some.
Popular Post YeWeeScumBag
#45 Player Unknown's : Battlegrounds This game has had it ups and downs and is known for being extremely buggy. IMO its came a long way, most of the gameplay and trophy bugs have been fixed and it now runs at 60fps.. if you played this when it was capped at 30fps you should definitely go back and give it another go. Well worth the graft. Enjoyment 10/10 Difficulty 9/10 ( Some trophies do require a lot of skill )

Really enjoyed the setting. The game does need fast travel. Didn't enjoy the combat, maybe because of the Pacifist run. Underleved, enemies one shot you. Can't maul them down like in Mad Max. Difficulty 3/10 ( I played on Normal ) Platinum time: 2 days, 22 hours (around 35 hours in game). Currently top 10 fastest for this game as well. Copied from status review: Well this has been an interesting weekend. Girlfriend is sick and nothing else going on in the world so why not enjoy a new open world game for 15 hours a day ?. Enjoyed the game a lot but it has it's repetitive side like all ubisoft games. The main story is great and when people read the following: "play as anyone" don't take it too serious. I played 50% with a construction worker due his OP flying drone where you can reach everything and get collectibles fast and just skip entire puzzles sometimes. The other 50% was with my Professional Hitman who has a deagle and a strong assault rifle. The other 18 chars in my team were kinda cool and I got most of them from liberating the city. Some other chars I got were just for misc trophy requirements.
Popular Post AK-1138
Platinum #555 (the twice removed second cousin of The Beast's niece's personal sous chef's pet chinook Dardanelle Q. Blabberpuss, Esq.): Difficulty: 2/10 Playtime: 30+ hours Enjoyment: ?/10 In a way, Telltale should thank their lucky stars they went out of business before this was released, because calling this broken, unpolished mess a "Definitive Edition" would have left them liable for about a million objectively justifiable lawsuits for false advertising. The sound, in particular the voice acting, is constantly glitching, breaking your immersion at a certifiable world record speed of an average of 17.3 times per minute. To be fair, you can't blame it all on the remastering team; leaving them alone with TTG's literally vitrified coding tools, like an old used car that requires a "special touch" to even start, was never gonna turn out well. I'd be more pissed if--full disclosure--I weren't just playing it in the background while reading Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark and listening to dark ambient, as you do. But even at a bargain price, this is a pretty indefensible purchase even for pragmatic stacking purpose... though I did try to play a few of my favourite episodes proper, mind. Long Road Ahead is a masterpiece of post-apocalyptic zombie fiction! The Graphic Black filter is an admirable idea in terms of unifying the look of the seasons and their varying graphical manifestations, but is not implemented with any care at all, leaving you with certain scenes in which details are impossible to make out. The desaturated palette also makes the proceedings come off even grimmer than need be, and anyone who's ever played the unrelenting hopeless misery that is Season Two will tell you that's the last thing it needs. The only superlative I can bestow upon it is that The Final Season plays a lot better without missable collectibles and faffing about with save scumming. Regardless of TTG's fate, overcomplicating the formula was never going to work in their favour; their inevitably insurmountable problems lay anywhere but with the gameplay. Needless to say, not at all a great way to close out a decent Spooktober, though perhaps an ironically fitting one considering the year we're in. I asked for a horror game, but got a horrible one, like I'm in a story about a magical monkey paw that only grants horrible subversions of people's wishes or something. Anyone wishing to savour one of the best long-form stories ever told in the video game medium (and one about the lost seventh member of the Deadly Viper Assassination Squad) is actually better served trying to dig up (pun may be intended?) the earlier standalone physical releases, as I'm not sure if the old digital ones are even available anymore... and those won't last forever, either. Clementine deserved better, and so do you. To this one I raise a glass of spirits for the game it couldashouldawoulda been, and dedicate a "boo" that is definitely not within the spirit of the season. Oh well... Happy Halloween, everybody! Puppeter04
No.50 THE RAVEN No. 50 at first it was going to be Dark Souls ll or Bordelands, but since DS2 is taking me forever (I haven't played it in over a week anyway... procrastination) and I'm stupid and didn't take advantage of the med-kit glitch in Borderlands (I was doing it but not paying attention and boom the 20k xp fly in front of my eyes)... so replaying it to reach lvl 50... Anyways, I haven't been a detective since L.A.Noire (plat no. 4) so it was time to solve crimes again. it was entertaining but not enough to shoot fireworks, 6/10 I'd say Edited October 31, 2020 by Puppeter04
Popular Post Phoenix_argentea
Another great JRPG! Platinum Nos. 195! Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of DANA (NA) (PS4) Adventurer Extraordinaire My 8th Ys platinum trophy, and it's another version of Ys VIII! Nothing to add about this beautiful game: it's my favourite JRPG on PS4. Everything is amazing: story, characters, combrat system, soundtrack. It's one of the few games where there isn't unnecessary grinding, because every single side activity is important: rescuing the castaway people increase the shops in the village and also add extra bonuses during the raids, fishing is useful because you obtain extra items from the Shoebill. Same thing about the exploration of the island, but is very fun exploring every single corner of this beautiful island. Probably a piece of my soul was shipwrecked on this island... The soundtrack is really beautiful, one of the best made by the Falcom Sound Team jdk, and the final theme, Everlasting transeunt, is really bittersweet, because it's the ending of this wonderful journey! Unlike the PS Vita version, where Dana segments were something similar to interludes, here they're expanded further, adding two more combat styles (in order to have "three" members with different weakness against the enemies) and more explanations about the story of the Eternia, especially about the Maiden of the Tree through the Sanctuary underground dungeon. And the final battle in the sanctuary was really fun, since you have to keep changing your attribute in order to follow the enemy's weakness, it's something similar to a dance! And you visit again it during Adol's era in the post game. I didn't remember anything about this one, so it was a nice surprise going thorugh it again! But I remember very well the night explorations, especially the one in Pan Gaia (rescue again the egg): enemies everywhere, and you keep running for your life! The platinum screenshot was taken exactly at the end of the Sactuary, where I defeated the post game final boss. And here I used something like 30-40 reviving fruits, since the boss kept one-shotting me! See you again Dana, in another stackable version of Ys VIII! Probably the Japanese ones!

Popular Post Elvick_
Platinum #213 The Amazing Spider-Man 2 [PS4] Does Everything a Spider Can! Unlock all trophies I'm a person who loved the first one, it wasn't goty or anything but I thought it was tons of fun. This however... what a mess. It has elements of mediocrity and being just 'okay'. But man, the menace/hero system is the most fucking annoying garbage I've ever had to deal with in a game in recent memory, it's why it took me 5 years and 11 months to finally get around to even finishing the game. I did up to the first boss. Being punished for not doing crimes around town when the crimes are fucking endless and fucking constant is annoying as hell. Just awful design. Literally reducing my stats, and sending bullshit enemies at you for being evil even though it's not your fault that somebody across town died in a fire. It's so bad that at times when I would finish one of the helicopter ones that instead of my hero meter going up, it would just go down anyway. I assume that was just the sum of all things failing at once while I loaded back in and it wrote over my progress as a negative, but it could just be a glitch because the game is super glitchy too. Got stuck in a helipad during a mission, got stuck in a really goofy pose during a fire mission and couldn't do anything. Half the time the L1 to pull enemies/weapons didn't even work, even if it was displayed. A lot of enemies ended up immune to it entirely and some out of bounds [like in the combat challenges] and I couldn't hit them properly. Just a fucking mess. Story is nothing, feels like a monster of the week episodes thrown together. There's a gang war that is poorly represented in the game, Spider-Man PS4 does that way better. Hell, inFamous Second Son did that of warring factions in town better from what I remember. Or at least it was plainly obvious there's stuff going on in the world around you at least. New York in this is just empty as hell. Crackdown ffs did it better. Like come on. The only time you feel like something is happening in New York is when you specifically are a menace. Then there's tons of crap all over town to take ~you~ out, but not the "gang war". It's just so dumb. Peter sections are boring, and under utilized. I know that seems hypocritical, but I feel like they could have worked with some tweaking. And then they just kind of drop off the planet like they forgot it was there anyway. :/ Taking pictures is superfluous and a waste of time for the most part. Peter's design is goofy as hell, that thick neck when Spidey's neck is so much thinner. :/ Needing to max every suit was a nightmare, it took ages to max a single suit.. Or at least what felt like it. It was so boring and tedious. I'm so glad that's over so I never have to do it. I do like that they have different stats and level up over time, but it's stupid how long it takes. The max level should have been 5 instead of 8. And needing to return to your house to change suits sucked particularly since there's one place to return home and zero fast travel. I will say there were a few things i did like. The animations were great. Music is fine. I love that the enemies will pick up each other's weapons, giving you a reason to not only disarm but to get that upgrade to web them to the ground. I like that you can go from a wall run [side to side] to running up the wall without stopping. It's a bit cumbersome at first, but it's great once you get used to it. Stealth is vastly inferior to the original game, the level design has way too much short ceilings and curves so you get disoriented easily. And you can't just stealth from the ceiling like the original. I don't remember which things were upgrades, but the original was so smooth you can hop off a ledge, grab a guy then swing up and stick him to the ceiling in one go. This you have to find a good spot to web down on your single web like a spider and then get close enough to stealth him. With movement patterns this is really annoying. I get that it's more 'logical' and limits the stealth, but... it's better to just make things fun than super tedious, particularly with those annoying stealth required bases. Took me like 5 times to get through the story required one because the camera is so fucked. In the original you could also just web from staying on the ceiling with no fuss needed. So much faster and smoother. I missed it. I didn't like Spider-Man PS4's stealth as much either, but at least it was better and more engaging with gadgets. Sometimes less is more for just pure fun. Spidey sense is ugly and often blinding to have on. The fires are a bitch, it's hard to just walk through a window or even jump through one, it's hard to get where you want to go and the times are so tight. I had many times [going for the 10 fire trophy] where I'd have the last person and I was already out of the building, falling and I'd still fail and get menace because I didn't land before time ran out. The time should stop instantly the second you leave with the last person. Similarly with bombs, you should be able to just manually throw them into the water anywhere. I lost two because I couldn't land properly in the spot it wanted me fast enough, despite being literally above the water or on the shore. Just makes no damn sense. So many dumb designs in this game. The 300 comics glitched on me and popped early, thank god. I never did find the last one while running from event to event in the grind. [story was even more tedious to me] I'm so glad this is over forever. I just wish the original Amazing Spider-Man had been ported to PS4, or that I had managed to buy it on Steam before it was delisted. Would love to play it again. Not sure if it had steam achievements but it would've been fun to get those again, even the dumb comics lol. edit; fuck I forgot about the stupid news reports after every stupid event done too. Just so tedious, it adds so much extra time. Plus the stupid load screens. And the totally worthless dialog options which only really serve to deliver dlc to the 'end conversation'. Since if you just click to end right away, it's basically the summary of everything you get from the other 3 choices. So it's just a waste of time. Just make the cutscene and move on with it instead of adding pointless fluff. Dumb game. Also I decided to upload the best glitch I got. edit; oh and I forgot to mention the boss battles are super tedious and bad. Just tons of waiting and patience, nothing is hard. Even on Super Hero difficulty. Edited October 31, 2020 by Elvick_

Popular Post Conor
#80- HITMAN GO: DEFINITIVE EDITION (PS4) Agent 47 Enjoyment: 7/10 Difficulty: 3/10 Time Taken: 20 hours, 55 minutes, 56 seconds (<10 hours in-game) Rarity: 40.9% Rare (PSN) / 70.20% Common (PSNProfiles) Hardest Trophy: Silent Assassin- Complete all objectives of all chapters without using a single hint. An amusing little mobile port themed around the Hitman series. You play on a series of boards controlling a piece modelled after Agent 47 and progress block-by-block completing objectives such as collecting a briefcase, avoiding killing, killing everyone, reaching the goal within a specific number of terms, not killing dogs and getting speed kills by landing on acceleration tiles colliding with enemy pieces. Sometimes the enemy pieces are static, some of them move in patterns, dogs follow you around and you can occasionally pick up guns to outright murder your enemies from a distance. You can land on disguise blocks which get you past certain enemies. You can throw things to distract enemies within a certain area. And, of course, you assassinate your targets at various intervals. The boards themselves vary in length, and I believe that bonus boards based on the main series of games were added to this port. The puzzles are easy to work out although following a guide is the fastest way to win. There really isn't a whole lot to say otherwise; the game is simple and clean, literally, there is a sterile feel to it, clinical, which sort of fits the theme of Agent 47, a master assassin. However, the lack of real animations brings it down as the game goes on. Thankfully, they remedied this in the Lara Croft GO game. A shame they didn't port the Deus Ex GO game to PS4 as well. It is notable that this game will NOT be playable on PS5- I suppose it is something to do with Square Enix no longer publishing the series- so it was good to have this out of the way. Some easy trophies and a platinum to boot.

Popular Post erickt123
#64 - Wolfenstein: The New Order (PS3) I already played through The New Order on the PS4, so I thought to see what the PS3 version is like. As it is, it's basically the same game, it even received the 1.01 patch the 8th gen consoles and PC got. Obviously the graphics are worse and the load times are longer, but as it is, nothing was exactly replaced or removed for the 7th gen version of the game. That said, there are more bugs and issues present here, which I expected really given the 8th generation started when this game was released back in 2014. The two most common issues in the PS3 version is audio being out of sync and pre-rendered cutscenes stuttering so badly, especially when they are placed in the middle of a chapter. The New Order is a pretty story-driven game so these issues hurt the immersion this game has. The game runs at 720P 60FPS here, which is nice, though texture pop-in is more present here compared to the PS4 version. It doesn't help The New Order didn't exactly looked the best on the PS4 with low resolution textures and pop-in, the game can look pretty bad at times on the PS3. If you never played Wolfenstein: The New Order before, play it on the PS4 (or PC if you got the hardware), physical copies are pretty cheap and on digital it goes on sale pretty often. These days, there's no reason to play the game on the PS3 unless you want an excuse to replay the game or get another platinum on your list, both of which applied to me in this case! Either way though, I find The New Order to be a great game, I'll take the 7th gen version of the game over Wolfenstein 2009 as it is. iGGTheEnd
[#61]PSNP Rarity: %1.31 Difficulty: 6/10 Hours: 50-60 Overall one of my favorite roguelikes so far, it was a ton of fun creating characters with Trait+Perk combinations and mixing and matching to try and make broken characters. The game is like the old game Oregon trail with looting and defense phases as well. You try to make it to Canada it takes 16 driving days depending on which car you have and different events can help you or screw you over throughout the game. There are a bunch of very easy UR trophies here just for completing the game with certain characters if anyone wants some free UR's.

Popular Post Redgrave
- #195: Overlord - Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night I got this on release but held off on playing it because I was hoping that the co-op would have been available by the time I decided to play it but I guess it never happened for whatever reason, my guess is they had to focus on fixing the Switch port. But since it was October I figured I would finally play it since it's a Halloween themed kind of game. That said, I'm not really experienced with Castlevania games but I figured this would have been good because it was made by the original creator. It's definitely a good game and you can tell there was a lot of love put into it from all the nods and references to the previous Castlevania games, with them even having the voice of Alucard from Symphony of the Night voice the character O.D. which was pretty cool. The Platinum itself is pretty straightforward though it is kind of grindy from all the material farming you have to do for cooking and crafting as well as getting the Shards. Granted, I really do appreciate that eating food for the first time gives you a permanent stat increase. It's also really cool leveling up the Shards and becoming overpowered But yeah, I look forward to seeing whatever other projects they decide to do with this series since this seems to live up to being called a spiritual successor or Castlevania. - #196: We'll talk about it next time I see you - Dying Light The other Halloween themed game for October. I had heard good things about this but I never really thought about playing it until recently but I was pleasantly surprised by it. It has a really good opening and a cool story to go along with it. It kind of reminded me of Far Cry 3 in some way, mainly from the antagonist. But you play as something of a runner, so you aren't really a gun-toting badass from the start since you're more of a scavenger that knows how to parkour their way through zombies and the human enemies. It's hard to describe but I feel like they really nailed the feeling of being something of a scavenger and a runner to where the parkour moments can be tense. Definitely a fun game especially with co-op partners. Speaking of which, thanks to @Undead Wolf for playing it with me

Im not the biggest fan of souls-like style of games, bloodborne and BLasphemous being the exception. Im not that good of a player 2 begin with and time wise this type of games demand time and dedication that i dont have , but remnant took me by surprise...the ideal lvl of difficulty to my taste and totally doable in off line mode just the way i like it. I doubt that i Will get 100% to the dlc because of survivor mode but im going to enjoy the dlc either way.
