Popular Post Terra
123 - Tokyo Xanadu (Vita) The Legend of the X.R.C Obtain all Trophies Difficulty - 3/10 Enjoyment - 9/10 This was my first Falcom game and I have to say I was impressed. The game manages to tell a compelling tale with good twists and turns while balancing both school life and fighting Greeds (Monsters). Characters are good for the most part. Kou is a likeable jerky protagonist with Asuka as a good companion. Each of the characters were given a good amount of development in the main story and through completing friendship episodes. I found Mitsuki, Asuka, Shio and Gorou to be the most interesting of the main cast presented even though the latter comes in much later. Combat is handled well. The game uses and elemental system to defeat enemies and clear dungeons. Get all S Ranks was not difficult and I managed to do all but 1 on Nightmare + Calamity. Wonderful experience for a in my opinion, a very underrated game that got little to no attention. I recommend this to any JRPG fan out there!
Popular Post TwilightSpira
PLATINUM 171 - MONSTER HUNTER: WORLD Date of Achievement: March 12 , 2018Enjoyment : Difficult : 6,0Hardest Trophy : Giant/Miniature Crown Master Monster Hunter: World is the new installment from this popular series and the first to arrive on home consoles, resulting in the first complete overhaul in graphics and scope. In the game we take controls of a hunter that we can create from scratch, as part of the Fifth Fleet, we are summoned by the Research Commission to provide more support to the New World, on their way we are attacked by a massive walking mountain, leading to the complete destruction of their ship and leaving part of crew stranded. Still recovering from the recent events and by locating the recently introduced Handler, they both decide to make their way back to the headquarters by foot. On their way they we are attacked by a pack of local Jagras, which is followed by the first appearance of larger monsters, unprepared both haste to the gates of Astera, the research Commission Base. There they are briefed and tasked to study Elder Dragons, powerful beasts that can affect entire ecosystems, and why they migrate to the New World every ten years in an event known as the Elder Crossing. The first task they are entrusted is to discover why Zorah Magdaros is on the move, leading to the start of our lengthy quest inside the New World. As a third person open world RPG, Monster Hunter World introduces some new mechanics to the series while delivering the same feel from the previous entries. Be prepared to witness a countless amount of crafting and loot, the freedom here is staggering. I really found myself blowed away countless times throughout my journey, each weapon and armor provides new ways to tackle each quest, making it unique every time you swipe between the base 14 unique weapon types in the game. One thing however that didn't change for the good was our trustful Palico, the feline companion that will always be ready to help us while exploring is here and sharp as ever. After almost 400 hours and with the platinum as the ultimate reward, it's incredible how fresh and fun the game is every time I boot, this a easy example of a game that will linger for a very long time regardless of trophies, Capcom should be really proud of their achievement, the transition to home consoles was sublime and the result is nothing short of spectacular. Popular Post Mesopithecus
Scored some ezpz plats over the weekend, before I start heading into some longer games #111. Hitman GO Enjoyment: 6/10 Difficulty: 2/10 This wasn't too terrible although it lacked a lot of depth, the design and the gameplay were very simplistic. I did like how they incorporated some areas from the Hitman games into this one though. #112. Lara Croft GO Enjoyment: 7/10 Difficulty: 2/10 This was actually considerably better than Hitman GO imo, the design of the levels were a bit more detailed and it felt closer to the source material #113. Guardians of the Galaxy Enjoyment: 4/10 Difficulty: 1/10 This snags the top spot as my least favorite TT game. I loved the movies, but I felt that the game doesn't capture the same vibe. The character models were poorly done, the voice acting was meh. The story was OK, that's about its only saving grace.
Popular Post Yoey_666
#220 – Burly Men at Sea This one surprised me in a – for my personal opinion – bad way. When I‘ve seen the first videos I thought this was a kinda complete adventure with an ongoing story. Actually it is splitted in a lot of very short playthroughs with different endings. The style of the game is really cool, but the game itself was a clear mistake for me.
Popular Post SirPigFace
#106 - Rime The end is a new beginning Obtain all trophies. One of the games that was available free with PS Plus, I'm on a little PS Plus free games clear out and this one was next. The platinum is really straight forward and it has a nice little story. The collectables will probably be a lot easier if you use a guide, a few of them are hidden away. I also really liked the trophy avatars they used, a lot of cool ones. #107 - Lego Star Wars - Force Awakens The Force Awakens Unlock All Trophies Pretty sure everyone knows how easy Lego games are by now and this one is no different ? Surprisingly enough I only encountered one problem, which is probably a record for Lego games. One of my chapters didn't pop a trophy but I just replayed the level on Story Mode and it unlocked, it didn't work when I replayed on Free Mode. Popular Post Dr_Mayus
#227-Guardians of the Galaxy Wasn't really sure of this one as I have never seen the movies and am always iffy of "comedy" games but the humor in this really worked. This was a great character piece where despite knowing next to nothing about the characters going in I ended up really enjoying all of them by the end of it. It was also a great use of flashbacks as it gave you insight into the characters without needless exposition. The actual plot was kind of non-existent as the game starts with you killing a Big Bad and ends with you kill a Big Bad...but in between it is all character development. Now in some games I would complain about this but here it really worked because the actual threat to the Galaxy wasn't the World Destroying Super Villains but instead dealing with the anxieties and trauma of our pasts. Basically it showcased that once you are able to put your past into perspective and learn to rely on your friends you can achieve anything Tales from the Borderlands is still my favourite TT game but this may be in contention for second place (Walking Dead Season 1 still holds a high place in my heart as does Back to the Future)

Popular Post Undead Wolf
#190 - Gravity Rush 2 Ultimate Shifter Collected every trophy. Being the follow-up to one of my favourite (former) Vita exclusives, I had high expectations for this one, and I'm pleased to say it exceeded them. This is an excellent sequel. As you would expect from moving to the PS4, it's capable of a lot more visually - the game is gorgeous. It's also a lot bigger in scale, with more areas to explore and a lot more content. I couldn't help being impressed constantly as I was playing. Storywise, I thought it wrapped things up perfectly. We learn about Kat's origins and many of the questions I had after the first game were answered. The Raven DLC (which is free I have to add) also gives us a lot of backstory on her which was great. Definitely two of my favourite gals in gaming. So yeah, I loved this game and this series which makes it all the more depressing considering how the game flopped in terms of sales. Do yourself a favour and pick up these underappreciated gems if you haven't already done so!
Popular Post Redgrave
#122: The Horned Boy - Shadow of the Colossus (PS4) On my list of things I did not play during the PS2 or PS3 is Shadow of the Colossus. I very much enjoyed this game. BluePoint did an excellent job with the environments and they definitely do deserve the praise they get for this. Especially with how great the Colossus' looked and their hair movements. I think overall though, the best way I can describe this game is "satisfying". It feels satisfying when you beat a Colossus after climbing on top of them or figuring out how to get to their weakpoints, or when you manage to outrun one that chases after you. It's definitely a game worth it for that feeling of satisfaction alone. Overall the Platinum itself wasn't bad. The only really hard thing about it is the time attack mode. Some Colossus are pretty simple, and others you have to kind of manipulate or hit an extra weakpoint which can be annoying because for some reason the ones you need to manipulate will just decide to wander off or do nothing and I never had this sort of issue on my first playthrough. The ones that have an extra weakpoint will have them in spots where you have to take extra time climbing them and in the case of the 15'th Colossus it's really annoying because he will shake a lot. I'm not sure if these are something that was leftover from the PS2/PS3 versions, but I do know that on the PS3 at least they would shake a lot more which made them more difficult, so I'm thankful they at least made it where they don't do it as much as I can't imagine how annoying some of them are. The speedrun trophy is also easier than it sounds (especially if you use time attack items). That said, yes the game is definitely worth it and I'm glad I got to play it.
Popular Post X_Wizi_X
#81 and milestone #5.000 Silent Hill 2 She Would Be Proud Once upon a time, there was a town entirely populated by monsters here and there, 4 girls, a weird guy with a gun, some UFOs and a dog. The name of that town is Silent Hill. Silent Hill and Resident Evil were my very first 2 Survival Horror games that I played when I was a kid and I think there are very few gamers who have never heard of Silent Hill in their life. This game is fun, but completing it 6+1 times is not so much fun. Here's the walkthrough I watched for the10 Stars playthrough. It's not a speedrun and the Hospital section could have been played better, but it's a good video after all. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WTfCceJgCOQ&feature=youtu.be&t=1s And here's my 10 Stars playthrough results One last thing. The first time I saw the name given to this platinum, I thought "it must be a milestone". Not only because 5.000 trophies are a nice goal to achieve, but even because it reminds me a very special person. Wherever you are now, whatever you do, I hope you can be proud of me. Miss you. Popular Post FOOTBALLNUT
#96 Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag Prizes, Plunder, and Adventure! Win every trophy. Platinum on 3rd March 2018 (2 years, 9 months, 1 week) **********My Personal Gaming Enjoyment Experience********** At last I can finally experience this Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag on PlayStation 4 after been released way back in 2013. Because I wanted to play it on new generation consoles which I didn't have it until 2015 and I did the story campaign back in 2015 but didn't get the season pass until last year when Ubisoft is having sales offers that also include some DLC. The present day of "Desmond" story maybe ended on AC3 but both side of ancestors still fighting for the lost cause and it bring us back to the previous entry main character grandfather's story also this will be another season long series where finale conclusion will be in Assassin's Creed Unity... hmmm, I don't know how true is it anyway I'm on track to find out. The Freedom Cry DLC add in some nice but not missed side track story. I'm sure everyone who played this game already know that the biggest improvement from AC3 on PlayStation 3 is of course the ship battle as for other gameplay and bugs or glitches, sadly it's still remain the same. Now back to pirates parts, I absolutely "LOVE" the ship battles systems it's was fun taking on those different kind of ship or sail straight into enemies territories looking for battles. After I fully upgraded my "Lady's" I was a Badass pirates "Robbing the rich and give to the poor" well..pirates I'm is pretty poor too. Until I meet my nemesis when I try to sink a Legendary ship, instead they sink'ed me faster than whirlpool, dammit. Here are my 4 clips against 4 legendary ship: Spoiler HMS Fearless & Royal Sovereign HMS Prince La Dama Negra El Impotuo One thing I really dislike is the multiplayer that requires to max out the level and it feel like is a chore to me, lost count of how many round of Wolfpack I had played. Maybe I'm late to the party cause most of the mode is dead and I have a hard time finding some mode as there is a trophy required to play every mode and use everyl abilities, only Deathmatch and Manhunt is still very active. I hope Ubisoft don't add any more multiplayer in futures cause I really lost interest since Assassin's Creed Revelation but I remember I quite enjoying the MP during that period. With all my rants and nagging I'm still "Like" playing Assassin's Creed series and my next AC games is going to be "Rogue" also looking forward to brand new gameplay and story from "Origins" in near future and see whether Ubisoft can make the franchise go on and on... Special thanks to autamax, FalseLeaf and one helpful gamers for helping in DLC.multiplayer . The fairytale-like atmosphere was a drastic change from the darker element of the first game. The puzzle aspect was definitely more involved as well, but at least I got to use Amadeus more. After re-playing the game though, I found it quite enjoyable. I can safely say the part I enjoyed the least was finding all the experience bottles. Dang, some of those things are well hidden, even with a video guide I missed them somehow, usually one single bottle (grr). Anyway, this was the easiest UR platinum I've ever played so I was not "Trine 2 Hard" for it... Popular Post RedRodriguez87
PS3 Done Done Done Appropriate trophy name, because this game is so fucking shit that you'll be glad when you are done done done. What was a passable somewhat enjoyable experience and a solid Mario stand-in for PS2 fans has been changed and altered and butchered in the worst possible ways. Garbage physics, garbage vehicle handling, garbage shooting mechanics (seriously, NO AIMING/LOCK ON? Are you fucking REAL?) garbage level layout, garbage "open world" hub, garbage missions (my favorite being the obligatory escort missions with utterly USELESS NPCs) garbage camera; easily, EASILY the worst attempt to crash in on the GTA craze that was present at the time. If you like this series, that's fine. I just hope one day you will see why this series should never (and probably will never) come back.

Enjoyment: 9/10 Difficulty: 2/10 I loved this game, and so much more than the first one. Not really needing to use stealth anywhere was weird to get used to at first but I think it gave it a nice change of pace, and I liked that we got to see a lot more of Middle-earth. Also really fun to play, and the humour is great. Trophy wise, there were a few grindy ones but nothing really too bad. Popular Post Lorajet
#15: RiME The end is a new beginning Obtain all trophies. Enjoyment first time: 9/10, second time: 4/10 Difficulty 2/10 Really enjoyed this game. Great story, beautiful graphics, nice collectibles. Played through without a guide the first time. On the second stage paythrough, trying to complete and get the collectibles proved a little bit more difficult and a bit frustrating. A couple of glitches that forced me to stop and start the stage over again. But, still an enjoyable game. One thing for players just starting out: for the Hold your Breath trophy and if you fail, restarting your last checkpoint will work. You do not need to restart the stage again. And, dying and restarting where the automatically game puts you will not earn you the trophy. And, yes, I cried at the end. Both times.
Popular Post madbuk
#246 - The Testament of Sherlock Holmes This game definitely shows its age. A lot of slowdown and some very ugly textures may end up ruining this for certain people, but I could put up with that. The controls are also archaic, tank controls on a PS3 game? Why? It controls perfectly fine in first person but god help you if you try and do this entirely in third person. I did really like the story. Of the three Sherlock Holmes games I've played, this Sherlock felt the most arrogant, but that aided the plot and made him more unique than the other two, keeping the story fresh and unpredictable. It felt like it slogged towards the end, especially in the funfair chapter I just wanted to see what happened next in the story instead of running around trying to find an interactable object to progress with. I did end up resorting to a guide at points, mainly in the last two areas or so because the puzzles started getting too hard for someone as dumb as me. This was definitely worth playing but I do wish I hadn't played the two newest entries before it, because that probably hindered my enjoyment a little. The other games were good at pointing you in the right direction if you need it without outright giving you the solution, in this game you get no help.
