Popular Post Beyondthegrave07
#67 Playroom VR Difficulty: 1/10 Fun 10/10 RECOMMEND?: If you have a VR, this should be the first game you play! I do not understand how this is a very rare platinum or an ultra rare 100% title on PSNP. This game is very easy and very enjoyable when you have a couple of friends (or one). My brother (@Starrk_01) and I played this together and pretty much got nearly every single trophy just naturally playing all the minigames. . It's a great game to try out on VR, and the best part? It's absolutely FREE. NO MICROTRANSACTIONS. Just pure fun to play with a friend, roommate, or spouse. You could actually get this platinum in a few hours if you tried hard enough, but for me, this was just overall a great game to sit back and rewind. If you like playing Mario or Mario Party (but with a VR headset), this game is definitely for you! It has like 5-6 games and not all of them require multiple controllers either. None of them require the move and it's worth mentioning that the DLC is absolutely free. The DLC is pretty much a game where you have to defend the turret and is probably the hardest trophy in the game or the ghost busters game. Either way, it'll only take you a few tries to get it. I really hope Sony makes more games like this and adds it to the VR collection. I would really like to see this in a gameboard style play with a bunch of minigames like Mario Party, but I could see the difficulty of setting that up with only 1 VR, but that's why we share, right? I honestly, didn't think I would even get a platinum this month at all, but I think that raises my total to 5(?) on the year. With so much going on right now, I might not be posting back here in a while! Edited March 24, 2018 by Beyondthegrave07
Popular Post Yrva
Platinum #35 - Rachet and Clank (2016) I've never been a big fan of this series, primarily because I was of a Jak and Daxter kinda guy, but this was a really fun experience after not having played a Ratchet and Clank game for so many years. I enjoyed just about 100% of my time spent with this game, and I would wholeheartedly recommend anyone to try it out if they ever got the chance. It's a fun and short adventure game that I think a lot of people could get behind! The platinum is by no means difficult either, but just requires some time and patience to get the small grinds out of the way. Popular Post Sergen
Drawn to Death (International + Japanese Version): Platinum #103 & #104 Difficulty: 2/10 Time Taken: 15-20 Hours Here's another couple of ultra rare platinums to add to the collection. It is a very simple platinum because of how easy it is to boost it and I did boost every single trophy I earned on this game, I'm sure without boosting it would be one hell of a grind. This game hardly has any appeal to it and I'm very surprised random people play it at times. It is a 4-player online only competitive third person shooter that takes place within a notebook of some kid who is bored in school. It's an interesting concept for a game, but I personally can't say the game was very appealing to me. I didn't have a hard time grinding this, because I have 2 PS4 consoles and the person who was helping me out with it used one of their PS4s all day with a turbo controller to get through menus. For the most part, random people don't join very often and if they do, you can still back out and search again until you don't find any. The game is simply a grind when you boost it because you need to do 14 challenges and reach level 15 with two different characters, the rest of the trophies aside from that will come naturally, with the exception of some easter-egg type trophies that require you to do various things on the maps for the game. The two characters I maxed out were Johnny Savage and Ninjaw, but I personally regret the Ninjaw choice simply because of how lengthy the grind was for that character. The challenges themselves don't really have anything complicated or difficult within them, they're normally for getting a certain amount of damage/kills with special abilities that are exclusive to that character as well as winning a bunch of matches and so on. The tedious thing about those challenges is that they must be done in order and you can't make progress towards the next challenge while working on the previous challenge and some of the lengthier challenges appear later on. The level 15 aspect of the trophy comes naturally while working towards doing the challenges with that character. This game can be done with 2 players online, however by trying it that way there would be a high risk of random people finding your lobby and sabotaging it, so 4 players is best for security purposes. I would recommend this game as a not so lengthy but easy ultra rare platinum. Although this game has no official trophy guides, a guide wouldn't really be necessary as the game explains everything very well and all the Easter-egg type trophies have a YouTube video guide out there that helps out with it. This game most certainly has the longest trophy names and platinum name I have ever seen in a game, using whole sentences to tell a story with the trophy list, that was a truly unique aspect of the trophy list. I must say thanks to Aexzia, who is a banned member on this forum. But they were the one who asked me to do this game in the first place and helped me out with 90% of the matches I did. The only difference I saw between the international and Japanese version was the fact that the button inputs for & in the menus are reversed. On the Japanese version is used to proceed through menus and is used to back out. I think that was a rather pathetic reason for the game to have a stack, but it's all good because it was an extra ultra rare platinum for hardly any effort because the stats cross over between the versions . Popular Post Redgrave
#125: All The Ways Out - A Way Out I wasn't really sure what to expect from this game considering how I hadn't really heard much about it until a few days ago and that it was $30 on release. I figured at most it would be mostly just dumb co-op fun and while it did have moments like that, it was still a very enjoyable experience. Despite what it looks like on the surface it's a very well thought out co-op game that not only has different ways to approach the game but it has different mini-games to play, such as Darts, Horseshoe, baseball, and even Connect Four It was a really nice surprise to see all the different things you could do. The story is also surprisingly good. Not a masterpiece but it certainly has moments that hit home, and the characters and the way they interact with each other and other NPC's around them are both nice and funny. I won't go much more into the story so I don't risk spoiling it, but if you have a friend that you really want to play a co-op game with then this is definitely a recommendation. And as always, thanks @Undead Wolf for playing this with me I hope the devs can make more co-op games like this and have more stuff in them.
Popular Post chozume
Kingdom Come: Deliverance Well, where do I start? What did I expect from this game? Nothing less than a new Skyrim without the dragons and the magical stuff. At first I was very disappointed, when I had to restart the game because of a gamebreaking bug in the second quest. The day one Patch was a massive 25GB-file and it didn't improve the game as much as I'd expected. So, 2 more Patches (with a total of 55GB) later the game was play- and enjoyable. I loved wandering around in the forests and looking for those wayside shrines. The developers really put some effort into this game but it should've been delayed at least 2 months more to eliminate all those frustrating bugs. They ruined the game for me and made me delete the game right after this (beautiful) Platinumtrophy popped! Oh and I was in the Top 50 of first achievers! =D
Popular Post SirPigFace
#109 Uncharted 2: Among Thieves Remastered I played the first game years ago but after seeing Uncharted 2 and 3 had a lot of DLC and online stuff I never really wanted to put myself through grinding online trophies. Thank god for the Nathan Drake Collection! Its a really great game series. I played through the game on Crushing first and it wasn't as bad as I thought it might be, from what I remember I am sure Uncharted 1 was much more of a challenge. After that you have a couple of DLC trophies which require you to Speedrun the story in a time less than 3 Hours and 30 minutes and for some reason I thought you could go back and chapter select each mission separately and try and beat the time ?? luckily, even though I thought I was a goner, I still managed to complete it in a time around 3.28/29 I think it was ?. Now I have started Brutal difficulty and its everything it says on the tin, 2 shots and you are dead, enemies have god like aim ? this could take a while. Popular Post jacks
Platinum #98 Jak II Done Done Done For excellent and dedicated field work in the field of battle for completion Enjoyment: n/a if using debug (though, the game itself is about a 7/10) Difficulty: n/a if using debug (without exploits and debug, it's about a 7-8/10) I kind of feel somewhat dirty for using debug mode on it, but not really since it was somewhat interesting playing around with a feature I didn't know existed. Even though I think the inner completionist with me that dates back before the initial launch of this game will have me completing all the trophy requirements even without earning the trophies again (or doing it again on PS3, legit), I think now when I play through the trilogy, I can at least somewhat convince myself to perhaps just skipping some of the tedious side content this game has and just playing for fun as I'm working my way through the Jak trilogy. By far my least favorite of the 3 (I always wished they would have ditched the weapons gameplay and some of the GTA elements and stuck to the charming mascot platformer vibes of the first), so now I can at least focus on the stuff I do enjoy in the game without worrying about trophies, even if a part of me wishes I could probably take back opening Pandora's Box. Platinum #99 NieR: Automata Final Words Thank you for playing. Enjoyment: 10/10 Difficulty: This will be either the one of the harder platinums you have earned or rival Telltale as one of the easiest Yoko Taro... a man with brilliant ideas... but... some, uhh... "interesting" execution. I think entrusting his talents and wizardry with story and world development by outsourcing gameplay to Platinum Games was a fairly wise move, even if it may not stand as Platinum's most masterful levels of combat depth and hacking and slashing. When taken more as an JRPG or ARPG, it's in a class of its own, purely because of the story, the characters, and quite possibly one of the most epic endings ever that'll leave you depressed for a while after the fact (I finished it a couple of hours ago, and I'm still a little numb and undecided whether I am walking away from a hopeful ending or a miserable ending, especially with all the calculated nihilism that lead to its explosive conclusion). Definitely a game that goes well and beyond simply being fan service, as a lot of memes on the internet are prone to showing off the, uhhh... "assets" of one our character leads. Make sure you see it through all the canon endings, and DO NOT judge it off one playthrough as "one and done", since the last act which comes in the form of the third playthrough hits the absolute hardest. It's worth it, trust me. Now to address the elephant in the room -- the difficulty. Yes, you can basically have the game play itself in a god mode where there is very little risk to you as the player to basically set your controller down mid-battle and let your easy mode-supplied auto chips make short work and waste of all robotic forms of life that may stand before you. Yes, you can even forego a lot of the tedium of having to grind out some of the trophies and buy them in Yoko Taro's wonderful idea that is the in-game trophy shop. This game is absolutely impossible to rate on a difficulty scale, as there are so many factors, and yes, you could literally make this game about as easy as any Telltale game out there where you are just essentially completing the game to its true ending, and then netting the platinum (with the exception of one fairly significant difficulty spike in the beginning of ending C/D path). It's up to you to decide, and there's no wrong way to play, so if you aren't good at games like Bayonetta or DMC and are off put by the technicality of having to time an evade correctly, then fear not -- the game has you covered. If you just want to play to see the magnificent story without having to worry about one or two trophies leaving a bad taste in your mouth for an otherwise amazing game, then great -- the game has you covered. If you want to ignore these warnings, and play out of respect for the developer and pedigree of the game and earn everything you can on the highest difficulty you can muster (and anything above normal difficulty is hard... as... nails), then go nuts -- the game has you covered. All in all, a depressing, wonderful, poignant and emotional game, and one of the best games of last year that everyone should give a fair shot.

Popular Post XIRCHRAD-
#9 ~ Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories (PS4) Chain of Memories Master ~ Very Rare 7.37% There's not too many good things to say about this game. It's fun for a while but then it gets pretty repetitive fast. I've never liked the card idea and it kind of makes the fun a little boring and it doesn't flow at all well sometimes. It's an absolute must play though if you are interested in the story which most players would be so. That's probably the best thing about the game it's story. The direct sequel to the first game set in Castle Oblivion. There are so many unnecessary things to do in order to get the platinum. Edit your deck 500 times, open 300 doors. Get Sora to Level 99 isn't so bad as his segment of the story is long and relevant. Getting Riku to 99 is pretty painful, his story is relevant but getting him to 99 really isn't. Then there's the abysmal drop rates of enemy cards where you probably won't use any of them as none of them are amazing. So it kind of seemed pointless. I get the game was something different and the idea of it was really nice but it just didn't excite you in combat etc like it should do, it's not flowing enough for a game like KH. I'm just glad that the difficulty stacks in this game. I heard it doesn't on the PS3 version.. I'll maybe save that one until later later later down the line. Onto KH2!
Popular Post Ala-Arska
Legend of Kay Anniversary (PS3) Platinum Collect all the other trophies to unlock This game sucks. I wish I could say I enjoyed this PS2 "classic". But I won't. Because I didn't. First of, it's got the trademark PS1/PS2 era 'worst camera angles you could possibly imagine.' Which made some parts...not fun When doing pixel-perfect (lol, pixel) jumps or evading big, smelly gorillas, you don't want to see the nearest wall or main cat's ass. Dumb, furry ass. Yep, the main character is a cat. And he's out to save the kingdom from nasty rats, apes, teenage (mutant) ninja turtles and such. Which is fine as far as the story goes. Nothing spectacular, but I didn't expect much from it anyway. Voice acting is campy as f**k, though Okay, back to the "10 Things I Hate About You" stuff...so, camera and voices suck balls, check. How about controls and gameplay, you ask? Well, controls do work fine minus some minor brain farts. Gameplay is somewhat fast paced and combat-oriented, which in itself is a-okay ? But, when combined to the atrocious camera + Nightmare difficulty = rage, hair pulling, frustration, some crying perhaps (lie, I never cry!)... Add one near game-breaking freeze (discussed in game related forum) and several other "just" annoying ones, and it's all downhill. As an added f**k you-bonus, all of the collectables are missable, meaning you'll have to keep an eye out for those instead of "enjoying" the game I remember PS2 having better games than this. Not a lot, to be frank (PS1 rulezz!), but a few still. Sometimes losing temper just ain't worth it

Popular Post Undead Wolf
#192 - A Way Out All The Ways Out Collect all trophies I'm really glad I decided to get this game; it was a ton of fun! And this is from someone who wasn't a fan of Brother: A Tale of Two Sons (the developer's previous game). If you have a close friend/family member to play with, I can't recommend this game enough! It's a little expensive at launch for something that can be beat in about 5 hours, but do keep in mind that you only need one copy for two people to play, even via online co-op. Most games these days don't even have splitscreen, so that was really cool of the developers since it potentially halves their sales. Thanks to my good friend @Redgrave for playing through this with me. I'll never forget the Connect Four pro strats we conducted that day. It's a draw..... for now.

Popular Post Strider-Falcon
#40 The Last Of Us Remastered It can't be for nothing Platinum Trophy This was a slow burn for me, but I got really into the game, I was hooked. I first played on normal and then via glitch played straight on Survivor plus! Oh boy, this mode is a complete nightmare and a very big jump up in difficulty. Despite the difficulty, I really enjoyed the game and now I can understand the hype around this game and the forthcoming sequel. I really enjoyed the multiplayer game and was not that hard getting all the online trophies. I wish I could play longer but I had to move on and clear my PS3 backlog. Overall, this is a really fun and challenging game where you will have to use your mind a lot. Why? Popular Post GravityQueeen
Good evening, trophy hunters. I still have a bunch of platinums to cover, so let's continue. ? # 15 - The Evil Within 2 "And as I try to make my way / To the ordinary world / I will learn to survive" - Oh boy, I was so hyped for this game, watching the trailer with this Duran Duran beautiful cover, back in 2017 during last E3. As a hardcore fan of the original, I waited the sequel for years. Then the game launched on October 13th, a perfect friday!, but it disappointed me so much. There's no denying it's still a good game, but so much of what I love in The Evil Within was gone. The new level design isn't as creative, except for some big open areas people probably will enjoy more than I did. Ah!, and now there are sidequests (I'm still laughing/crying about this idea). There are no memorable bosses like Laura and The Keeper. Did you think Sebastian was slow in the first game? Well, prepare to control an even slower Sebastian. This is probably my biggest conplain about the game: normal walking is so slow that when you max upgrade your crouched walking, you'll never stand up again! I mean it: Sebastian is faster crouched than walking normally. The protagonist has more stamina now, but it regenerates about ten times slower than in the previous game; and if enemies are aware of you, it depletes really fast. It didn't help that Sebastian's voice actor was changed, neither the fact that Shinji Mikami wasn't the director this time around, he was the executive producer (Dark Souls 2 comes to mind; now I understand why a lot of fans didn't enjoyed it much, Hidetaka Miyazaki wasn't the director because he was in charge of Bloodborne). Dude, I can't stand none of this. In the other hand, I can imagine people enjoying the sequel more than the original, because it is definitely easier, and I'm not referring to Akumu (which I miss by the way, hated my Classic Mode playthrough). The Evil Within 2 has no traps. And, God, I guess I miss even the sniper dudes from the first game! From this point, I think anybody can assume that I wanted the same The Evil Whitin from 2014, and it is possibly the truth. But in the end I still think it lacks the soul, the feeling, the objectivity, the fun of the first one. I said it all! ? PS.: My frustration aside, it's still great, sometimes really fun, sometimes The Evil Within. # 16 - Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition Who doesn't like it? Who doesn't love Lara Croft? I like her so much, especially this rebooted and more human Lara, that I dedicated some of my trophy milestones to this character. I only have positive things to say: the campaign is so much fun; beautiful graphics (and Lara ?); good story; perfect gameplay. The Yamatai island is rich in details, a lot of things to do, tombs to explore, hazards to face. This time around I was quickly done with the multiplayer, it took me about a day and half to farm all required experience to reach level 60. I am very good at grinding, must say my secret weapon is called Spotify and I loaded it with good rock and pop ammunition: Aerosmith, Billy Joel, Linkin Park, Rihanna, Katy Perry and so on! Haha, within your hours of Tomb Raider multiplayer you can listen every album of most of your favorite artists. Fun fact: my mother's favorite franchise is Tomb Raider. She has beaten every single ps1 and ps2 game, and she isn't even a gamer like us. Can you believe it?! When there was a boss too tough for her, she used to call me and I had to learn the controls fast and beat the boss for her. I remember beating a pair of shielded centaurs back in the ps2 era. # 17 - Rise of the Tomb Raider A stellar follow-up to 2013 reboot, no doubt about it. The game looks and runs so beautifully in my 4 years old ps4, can't even imagine how it would look in a ps4 pro. A lot of Lara's past is revealed; the way the story is told makes her believable and lovable; and it's full of interesting side characters to like or dislike. The map is bigger now and has even more things to do, tombs to explore, animals to hunt for precious materials. When it comes to trophies, well, there are 125 of them if you aim for 100% completion, I can say it is a very enjoyable trophy list. The challenge of the platinum is getting all gold medals in Score Attack mode. The DLCs are fun to play and makes it an even bigger, better experience: "Endurance" and "Endurance Coop" is a brutal, tense challenge with the only bad thing beeing some glitched multiplayer trophies and that sometimes the servers aren't that reliable; "Baba Yaga" adds more missions to the core game and all of them are worth playing, especially because of Baba Yaga witch herself and her dirty tricks (hallucination); "Cold Darkness" puts you in a big map, facing a kind of zombie enemies while trying to escape and save the day; "Croft Manor" takes you to Lara's mansion in a journey to uncover her family's secrets and recover a testament, it's a nightmare setting with some cool puzzles to solve. I recommend Rise of the Tomb Raider to anyone, it's a 20 years celebration package that comes with all DLCs, tons of good stuff! Fun story: once, when I was a teenager, my mom was playing Tomb Raider Legend, or Anniversary, can't recall, but I know it was a ps2 game. She was shooting a big stone standing on a mountain, like that classic one from Indiana Jones, and I said: "Hey, mom, I'm going to the movies with a friend, ok? See you later." When I came back home, about 3 hours later, SHE WAS STILL SHOOTING THAT STONE! I said: "What?! You're still shooting at it! Let me try, give me the control." One minute later I found out Lara had a rope and you were supposed to pull that big rock with it, solving the puzzle. I tell this story to my friends and when I mention it to her, we use to laugh a lot of it! I am just like her: I never give up, even if the best I can do is shooting that damn rock for three hours straight.
