Popular Post sunnydaleAlumni
Platinum #52 Fujoshi ~ Got all the trophies. Well done! You're a beautiful person with your whole life ahead of you. Love it. Played this on PS Now. I thought it was more historical/fantasy than romance. I was somewhat familiar with the names and places but have to admit it's mostly from watching Gintama anime Enjoyed this one and will be playing other games in the series ?
Popular Post X_Wizi_X
#140 God of War III (Ps3) And here we are with the first platinum of 2020 and I'd say that was an excellent choice: God of War 3, the seventh chapter in chronological order and it is also the one that ends the first era (the Greek Mythology). The story is amazing, the graphics is amazing, the game is f****** amazing. Finally I got my coveted revenge that I was looking for since 2 chapters! About the trophies: I know there's a Titan mode glitch, but since I would have played the game 2 times I decided that I would have played the Ps3 version as it was intended from the autors: no Titan mode glitch and no chapter skips. Well guys, the titan mode is hard, at times it's f*****g hard (especially the boss battles, the satyrs, even the flights through the chain). In my opinion it's the hardest GoW played till now. Enjoyment: 9.5/10 Difficulty with no titan glitch and no chapter skips: 7.5/10 #141 God of War III Remastered (Ps4) Enhanced graphics and same amazing game. This time I used the Titan mode glitch and the break the chain at 3 Judges skip. Basically I had infinite health (but not infinite magic) and skipped all bosses + something like 6 hours of playing. In few words a joke. * I played with the digital version + last patch. Check the Pandora's statue with R1 before pushing the thing that activates the 3 judges cutscene. Break the 3 things behind their heads and go through the portal. Open the gate and destroy the 2 columns. There will be weird colors at the starting of the cutscene and during half flight on the chain. A long journey ended guys and my Greek Era with Kratos is over. Now it's time to play the Norse Era with the next game: God of War 2018! Enjoyment: 9.5/10 Difficulty with titan glitch and break the chain skip: 1/10 Edited January 12, 2020 by X_Wizi_X
Popular Post eigen-space
Platinum #88 - The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel 3 A Flash of Light, 19.19% Rarity Difficulty - 3/10 , Time Spent - ~160 Hours , Enjoyment 3.5/10 Uggh. I don't have much to say about this game apart from that I really didn't like it. If you have ever played any of the other ToCS games, you'll know that they can be VERY text-heavy at times. Well, this one was absolutely the worst. I hated how I'd get stuck in what seemed like a weird visual novel because it was SO text-heavy only to have control of my character for about 5 minutes before going into yet another 30-minute long dialogue scene. The only saving grace for this game is that the story still proves to be amazing. I know I'll be kicking myself in the next 2-3 years when they release the 4th and final installment of the game because I HAVE TO KNOW how the story ends, despite the fact I know that it'll be much of the same with the horrible pacing that the first three games had. I know many people will disagree, but honestly... if you haven't played any of these games, DON'T START. They are a huge time sink and really not worth it.
Popular Post Phlegeth
#34 Path of the Shinobi Obtained all trophies. This was a lot of fun. Chapter 5 of Hebijo was completely different from the DS game. In the original it was just the normal fights, but here they had completely new movesets and was intense. Yoma!Mirai was crazy. I finished everything with Homura at 49, so getting the Flawless! trophy to pop the platinum was a nice touch. I said it when I first started playing, but I really hope the give Deep Crismon a remake. I want to fight this on the big screen
Popular Post Dauersack
Outlast 2 #41: Omnipotent Outlast 2 is a game ranging from fine to bad depending on what you like and which part of it you are in. It is generally good horror game in terms of atmosphere but is depending maybe a bit too much on shock value, always throwing stuff like gore, torture, insanity, rape and pedophilia right in your face. Gameplay wise it relies too much on running away from enemies, and as someone who has dismantled this game as much as he could I can say that there are some oversights in programming that can and will easily lead to frustration, also its level layout can be questionable at times. Only playing through it, this game would have been a solid experience, a step down from Outlast 1 and the Whistleblower dlc for sure, but still decent. What ruined this experience for me was the platinum demanding a 1 battery highest difficulty permadeath run in a game being 2.5-3 hours long. Aside from the game being long enough to make this kind of thing annoying by itself, the games poor programming can lead to unpredictable results with the ai, game mechanics bugging out in crucial moments, or the game downright crashing occasionally. It makes the insane run quite rng dependent because one stroke of bad luck can get you one shot killed by your many, many enemies that will be on your ass while you fumble through the darkness to save the life of the one battery you are allowed to have for the entire game. I got screwed over quite a few times repeating the common strategies for this game, which is why I took a long break at some point because this game made me quite mad at times to say the least. Ironman runs are signs for a shitty developer, as they demand near perfection from you throughout the entire run but the games themselves are nowhere near close to that same standard they ask of you, letting you suffer for their mistakes quite often. This one here is especially nasty because every playthrough attempt contained unskippable cutscenes, each and every time, most of which are in the first chapter, aka the one you will see the most since the vast majority of deaths occur in chapter 2. I had to sit through the same torture porn cutscenes many times and I am quite sure that left a few psychological marks. The game is rated with a 7/10 difficulty, I would place it higher due to all the problems I personally had with the no death run, and the fact that it is an ultra rare walking simulator platinum trophy does tell the story better than I ever could. Be aware of these things if you consider starting this game with the intention of getting its platinum, you might suffer. With that plat finally out of the way, I can choose between over a dozen games right now and I haven't made up my mind yet what to play next, but aside from one other game I still have on my to do list, everything is better than the Outlast 2 insane difficulty loop. Popular Post Not_like_therest
#75- Uncharted: Lost Legacy I definitely would not have attempted this without the bonus weapon cheats enabled. Just screw crushing difficulty on all Uncharted games, starting with the first one. Only one person even bothered making a crushing guide compared to how many for each of the others? There weren't even that many combat sections, nor were these all that difficult comparatively, (especially UC4 from hearsay)...but its like ND don't like to play test their own games on higher difficulty. I've heard the horror stories for the other UCs and I remember how absurd some situations were on normal on ps3... Think I will be passing on them for the IGC this month. All is well, I think I have my next 4 or 5 chosen if I can keep the momentum going. Edit, I would recommend this though. Enjoyment was a solid 7 on easy/normal Edited January 12, 2020 by Not_like_therest

Popular Post LimitedTimeGamer
43# - Yakuza 0 Where It All Began Date Earned: 20th December 2019 Completed in 2 Years, 10 months Never in my wildest dreams did i think that i would ever complete a Yakuza game 100%. I love the series to death, and have all the entries in the franchise, including the two PSP games. Actually, before i did this one, the closest game i 100%ed was Yakuza 3 on PS3, but i never did the minigames. No excuse now right? Anyway, this game takes place during the Bubble era of Japan, and introduces us to Kazuma Kiryu, a temporary on/off member of the Dojima Family. This game's story revolves around the Empty Lot, a small scrap of land in the middle of Kamurocho's bustling city. Whoever controls that part of the city basically has the racket over the whole town. Beat em up gameplay is the name of the game here, and money is your EXP, so grind grind and grind some more! There are a bunch of different minigames, and there are requirements for each of them for the 100%. I have learnt Mahjong, Mastered UFO Catchers, and even called up ladies in a telephone club, thanks to this game. Platinum Requires that you complete 100% of the completion list, and a minimum of Two Playthroughs, one on Hard, the other on Legend. (Golden Gun really helps here) The Final thing i had to do was Batting. I suck at it. So it took me a while to earn the 5 million yen. Best tip i can give, is that Kiryu will stop moving when it is time to hit. This is without a doubt, my rarest platinum, and i will return to the series one day. 44# - YS VIII: Lacrimosa Of Dana Adventurer Extraordinaire Date Earned: 1st January 2020 Completed in 2 years, 3 months Let me tell you a story. Have you ever heard of the Adventurer known as Adol Christin? He is a facinating young man, let me tell you. This story, the Travelogue of the Gaete Sea, tells of his adventures on the boat Lombardia, and his eventual boat sinking on the mysterious Isle Of Seiren. This game is really great. Its one of those rare games, where getting 100% is not a chore, and you desperately want to achieve it, so you can make the gametime even longer. This is a action JRPG where you as mentioned above, explore the Mysterious Isle Of Seiren, rescuing survivors along the way. Each survivor saved adds another useful function to the makeshift village, like a tailor for making attachments, or a BlackSmith for enhancing your weaponry. The Music is sublime, and its one of the better Falcom OST's i have heard. I Actually got this game because of the two bookstands that were in the LE, so i could use them for my OST shelf. They look really good. Each Character has 12 Skills to collect, and 95% of them are useful. Give this one a shot. To Continue Adol's Story, you need to read The Book Of YS: Seven. 45# - Dark Souls 2: Scholar Of The First Sin The Dark Soul Date Earned: 12th January 2020 Completed in 3 Years??? (Estimate due to hidden status, will fix later) 6 Playthroughs. Multiple Ragequits. This is Dark Souls alright. This game is a Wall. That's the best way i can describe it. Depending on your playstyle, and weapon choice, will make the game easier, or harder. Originally, i stuck with a Mace. Then i went for the Estoc. Sunset Staff. Before finally settling on the trusty old Murakamo. You need to collect everything in this game for the platinum. All the gestures, Spells. Some of which require multiple playthroughs. But i did it. After 267 Hrs, and many NG+ attempts. If i can do it, you can as well. So come, and embrace the Dark in Majula today. I wont stop you.

Popular Post timpurnat
Platinum #350 Nioh You Are NiohObtained all trophies. Time to platinum: 70h Difficulty: 3-4/10 I really enjoyed this one, the story was kinda meh but combat is very good, It's actually better than in other "souls-like" games in my opinion. Platinum was very easy, especially because you can play in co-op. I sucks that I need to buy the DLC for the third difficulty. DLC looks a bit harder but I'm looking forward to it. I probably changed my build like 5 times, because it was interesting to use different weapons and spirits. My fav build and the one I'm using right now is spirit/ninjitsu build.

Popular Post BlackSnake1435
Platinum #33 Mortal Kombat X Enjoy: 9/10 Difficulty: 7/10 This was one of the first games I tried for my PS4 back in late 2015, however, it was around 4 years later that I could get the platinum trophy. First than all I said, omg, this is impossible, but and realised a few weeks ago that I just needed 8 more trophies for the platinum, so I read a guide and achieved it. I must say, this is a very good game, but is designed to be played mainly online. Besides this I have only tried MK9 (haven't got MK11 yet), and I liked this much more, but the platinum requires to spend a lot of time playing, pacience to a great level and in case you are not that skilled playing this, it also requires a good time f boosting with friends. However, this is also what we need to enjoy the game as much as we can before get the plattin and never play it ever again, which is the case of many trophy hunters. Popular Post Undead Wolf
#302 - River City Girls River City Hero Obtain all trophies in "River City Girls". I was very impressed with this game - it's excellent! The first thing that got my attention were the gorgeous visuals (pixel art + anime-style cutscenes) and amazing soundtrack. Like seriously, I'm gonna have to go buy the soundtrack after this because I can't get enough. The gameplay is a lot of fun too! Lots of different moves you can unlock. You can even kill people with a dab for God's sake. I really enjoyed the characters and humour in the game. Kyoko best girl of course. I can't recommend this enough! I actually bought this game twice (digital and physical from Limited Run Games). If I had known how much I would enjoy it, I would have ordered the collector's edition when I had the chance. So good. Since I mentioned the soundtrack, I thought I'd link my favourite song in the game. There are bunch of others just as great though. Popular Post SilentMake1992
Plat #153 Mass Effect 2 N7 Elite Acquire all trophies Cleaning backlog. Had insanity difficulty and couple miscelanous trophies left. Insanity is pretty easy, there were couple fights that took few tries. Gameplay wise this is mostly improvement over first game, but there are also changes that i did not like. New skill system and how skills share cooldown and removing inventory system completly. The recourse probing gets tiring after a while. The story is good and i like most teammates. Felt that collectors were weaker enemies storywise compared to saren and geth threat.
Popular Post snakebit10
#295 Lego: The Incredibles Another good entry in the Lego games. It is pretty much the same formula except for the family builds and the crime ways in each district. My 11th Lego platinum overall. I like the diversity of the characters. Most from the Incredibles franchise but it had some Disney characters from other franchises included in. Getting ever closer to 300 platinum trophies.

Popular Post SoapMacTavish222
#350 Worms 2: Armageddon for PS3. Continuing with hammering down the backlog and this one was put on the back burner for way too long. If you have played any of the worms games, I recommend it. It's quite a bit of fun. The MP trophies you will want to get done first since it's pretty much dead so I don't know how long they will keep the servers open. The only really grindy one is the 17 wins on the four different match types but this can be sped up by you and your boosting partner taking turns surrendering at the beginning of the match. Just make sure to keep track of it because it's quite boring and you can lose count. Only 2 trophies left for it to be 100%. Cheers.

Popular Post ElrayMickaelius
Plat 29 Enjoyment: 9/10Difficulty: 4/10 Time: ~ 40 Hours + DLCs without NG+ What a journey! That was the game I would have liked in my youth. Swinging through the city was already worth the money. The only real downside: the street crimes. In the end these little Sidemissions were just annoying, not super annoying, only annyoing since the fighting system was a lot of fun. Now i need a break from Manhatten befor i am going for the last two NG+ trophies. Play this Game if you haven't!
