Popular Post TraumaticChain6
#57: The Playroom VR Difficulty: 3/10 Enjoyment: 8/10 Rarity: 6,91% Everyone with a VR headset should download and play this free game. The robots are really cute and every world looks great. Every world is a different mini-game and is played with one person with the VR headset and ranging from 1 to unlimited TV players. This was really fun playing with my brothers and sister and we all enjoyed it. Truth to be told, if this was not a VR game then I wouldn't enjoy it to much because it are all simple mini-games. Everyone that is logged in gets trophies, so if I'm being honest there were some trophies I didn't get while wearing the VR headset but still got them because someone else unlocked them while playing with the headset. But still, I helped to let them get them :p. A little description of the mini-games: - Cat and mouse: The player with the VR headset plays the cat and need to catch the mice (tv players) that are collecting cheese. This one was my least favorite because I didn't have the patience when I played as the mouse and as the cat I was really bad. - Ghost house: This one was the most difficult of the mini-games to get all trophies in. The tv players see the ghosts on the screen and need to tell the VR player were they are. The VR player then needs to catch the ghost. - Wanted: The tv players need to describe a wanted poster to the VR player. The VR player needs to shoot the robot that the TV players describes. This one was really charming with the intro and all the things that happen between rounds. - Monster escape: The VR player plays a big monster that needs to destroy a city. The TV players need to dodge the falling debris and rescue civilians. After that the mini-game ends in a fight were the VR player needs to dodge the objects the TV players are throwing to him/her. - Robot rescue: This is a platformer were you need to rescue robots from little monsters. A TV player is needed to rescue all the robots. - Toy wars: This one is a free DLC mini-game. The VR player shoots with a canon at monsters and the TV players are playing as a robot each with a different special ability. I recommend to play this with the maximum amount of players because it's really hectic and fun.

Popular Post Starrk_01
Plat #161: Arcade Game Series: Galaga Relatively easy plat when using save scumming and taking advantage of the old game mechanics (if you leave the two ships in the first level and let them use all of their ammo then no ship will shoot you for the remainder of that game, including in future levels.). One of three arcade games I'm going through (PacMan and Dig Dug being the others).
Popular Post Masamune
Code Vein Revenant Preeminent Earn all trophies Difficulty: 5.5/10 Enjoyment: 8.5/10 Playtime: 58:47:30 (1 week, 4 days, 9 hours) Screenshot: Spoiler That was more enjoyable than expected, not quite as good as the first two God Eaters, but pretty close to 3. I was a bit worried about going into this considering a ton of people compare it to the Souls games, but it's way better than those imo (I have the same opinion about Nioh as well). If I had to complain about anything with it, it'd probably be the amount of time it takes to use items/regenerate, if you try doing that in the middle of combat, chances are the enemy is just going to attack you & cancel it (& even if you pull it off, a maxed regeneration will only recover about a 3rd of your health, which most enemies can easily take off more than that with a single strike). Leveling isn't too effective in this game either, it doesn't increase your Defense & the amount of stats you do gain is very minimal between levels (I couldn't even tell much of a difference between Lv150-Lv250). ? The story is pretty interesting, however that's probably only if you're a fan of the God Eater series (& that's really all I can say without spoiling things). ? The difficulty can be slightly challenging at times, there are a few tricky enemies/bosses around, but nothing you won't be able to beat with a little practice. The only trophy that can be a little annoying is for getting 400 Marks of Honor, before version 1.20 this would've taken probably 30-40+ hours to do offline, but thanks to the Tower of Trials that was added, it can be knocked out just as quick as the online method (10 hours give or take). You also need to do 3 playthrough for the plat (1 complete, 2 speedruns), but you can easily rush through NG+ in under 5 hours. Overall I'm really glad I got it, & I'll probably even check out the DLC when it gets released.
Popular Post Valzentia
#15 - Batman: The Enemy Within Difficulty: 1/10 Fun: 9/10 Way better than season 1. I really liked Telltale's interpretations of the Joker and Harley Quinn, and I actually might prefer these versions over the regular versions. The trophies unlock at pretty bizarre times though and I got a little freaked that the game glitched out. #16 - Mr. Massagy Difficulty: What.../10 Fun: ...the fuck?/10 What the fuck...?

Sagaan
#142 - Romance of the three Kingdoms 13 Oh boy i loved strategy games back at ps 1 ( commander & conquer, kknd crossfire ) Hero mode was like the tutorials. After dat the main scenarios start. I didn't know i had to conquer whole china by each scenario T_T 6 times. So i got raped down by my first try. But since my iq got big levels, i picked always rulers who was the biggest gangster in each scenario XD. First scenario han de, second cao cao, third yuan shao, 4 5 6 cao cao. I made alliance with the second strongest force all the time and steamrolled the whole map like a boss. Sometimes the whole map made an alliance against me cuz cao cao was hated by the rest XD. So all 6 scenarios took me around 60 hours. Hero mode almost 10. Only 1 trophy pissed me off, it was competent viseroy. My petition never got approved by cao cao or yuan shao in the council when i was highest ranked general in their team -_-. When it got approved by liu bei at scenario 214 if his approved was faster done by his team then mine he cancled my petition.Cuz if u start as viseroy u own 6 cities only . So i gave my cities 40 free officers by edit settings. And my very hard petition was faster done then his X d. It took me almost 20h to just get dat done. So 90-100h in total for the plat. Great game had lot of fun with it,cheers.
Popular Post djb5f
#75 Star Wars Battlefront II (PS4) Enjoyment: 8/10 Difficulty: 6/10 Rarity: 3.71% My impressions of Star Wars Battlefront II changed over time. There was the loot box/pay-to-win fiasco at launch but my opinion of the game was most soured by what I thought to be limitations in the gameplay, available modes, and progression system (ok partially related to initial loot box system). I enjoyed the multiplayer of the first game more because of the maps, game modes like Cargo, Droid Run, and Extraction, and being able to customize your hand however you wanted. I really liked my load-out by the end of BF1 and became quite successful with it. In BF2, you are constrained by classes. Each have their advantages but you can't mix and match cards unfortunately. If there is a weapon/upgrade only available for a class you might not like, too bad. So why did I give it an 8? Well, it improved as I came back to it. The Rank 50 trophy is pretty quick now with Double/Triple XP offered frequently so you don't need to play Heroes vs. Villains endlessly anymore. They have added a co-op mode which makes a couple of the miscellaneous trophies much easier/quicker like the Vanguard and the Heavy Sentry trophies. The mode is a blast and you quickly level up. My final trophy was finishing 50 kills using the dual proton torpedoes in Star Fighter Assault and as I cleaned that up last night, I have to say I became a fan of Fighter Squadron, a mode I did not put a lot of time into in either Battlefront. So, if you are on the fence about this game, I do recommend it. I still prefer the original trilogy but this one has new heroes and maps pertaining to the prequels and most recent trilogy and I must give EA credit for supporting the game years after launch and adding fun new modes. If the game launched like this, the reviews would be much different. And for any Star Wars fans, you probably already own it, but the visuals and sound are top notch and make you feel a part of the Star Wars universe. This marks Platinum #75, a milestone! Popular Post Omar
Happy 2020 everybody! I haven't posted here in a while so please allow me to get things up to speed with the last few platinum trophies I earned in 2019 #148 - Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix Kingdom Hearts II Master - Obtain all trophies Achieved on September 15th 2019, with a PSNP RS of Rare. It gets a 3 for Difficulty because I know it by heart and a 17 for Enjoyment because I cannot get tired of it In 2018, I decided to take on the original Kingdom Hearts Final Mix in complete German, to challenge my own learning process of the language. It was so much fun that I decided to follow suit with Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix. I cannot say anything but good things about this game and, even though Kingdom Hearts III has come out and it's my favorite in the series now, this one will always hold a really special place in my heart. I've played it in 4 different languages now LMAO #149 - Final Fantasy VIII Remastered Lionheart - Obtain all trophies Achieved on October 6th 2019, with a PSNP RS of Uncommon. Thanks to exploits I'm giving it a 2 for Difficulty but a nice 8 for enjoyment because I LOVE THIS GAME. I've always felt like Final Fantasy VIII never got enough credit just for how incredibly creative it is. Way back when it failed to make a big splash because of some of its features but thanks to the exploits present in the game, the experience is incredibly enhanced. I loved bending the rules of time and minimising the endless grind it would've taken way back when to draw a lot of spells from enemies. This is another one that really speaks for itself, can't say much other than PLAY THIS IF YOU HAVEN'T YET #150 - Marvel's Spider-Man Be Greater - Collect all trophies Achieved on November 2nd 2019, with a PSNP RS of Uncommon. Giving it a 4 for Difficulty and a 9 for Enjoyment. I saved this one for my 150th not because I love Spider-Man, but because I love Insomniac and they did not disappoint. I loved virtually every second spent on it and everything from combat to traversal to soundtrack and storyline felt brilliantly executed. After hitting platinum I jumped into Death Stranding, which prevented me from doing all DLC at the same time. In spite of returning to it almost a whole month after dropping it, the controls felt so intuitive that it took no effort at all to get it all done and attain 100% trophy completion. I can't wait to get more from Insomniac, but I'm let's see more Ratchet & Clank first #151 - Life is Strange 2 All Roads Traveled - Unlock all Life is Strange 2 trophies Achieved on December 15th 2019, with a PSNP RS of Uncommon. Basic 1 for Difficulty but a massive 9 for Enjoyment In today's social landscape, I really needed a game like this, with a story like this one to be told. I think it is food for thought just how extremely realistic everything about LiS2 is if you remove superpowers from the equation. I enjoyed every minute and I tip my hat to Dontnod yet again for not bending once as soon as it gets uncomfortable. After learning that Max's storyline was over, I had my reservations going into this sequel. Now I'm a loyal fan of the series and I can't wait to see what the team will come up next. #152 - Ni No Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom One True King - Awarded for achieving 100% completion Achieved on December 31st 2019, with a PSNP RS of Uncommon. A 5 for Difficulty (Hard Mode) and an 8 for Enjoyment. This one just barely made it as my last platinum trophy of the decade! This is the example of that game you bought at a sale a long time ago but you haven't played yet so you feel terribly compelled to start it and then it blows your expectations out of the water. The sheer amount of things that can be done within this game takes me back to Level-5's top level of side content which could more often than not warrant its own game (looking right at you, Insectron ) I loved Evan's story and this is another series I'll be keeping an eye on from here on out. It's a shame that I'm 3 trophies away from 100% completion but I have to go through an extremely overcomplicated series of challenges that I may not have enough willpower to endure at this point in time Sorry for the long post but that was the end of my trophy hunting decade! As an honorable mention, I'd love to add that I also reached 100% trophy completion for Final Fantasy XV and all of its DLC episodes and expansions, meaning I was able to free over 120 GB of system storage LMAO Here's to a 2020 of more trophies and memorable experiences for everyone!
Popular Post SnakeonaBoat
#20: Control Director of the FBC When it comes to collectibles, most games end up with the process of finding them eventually feeling like a chore. Control, on the other hand, might be the only game I've played where the collectibles were one of the best parts of the game. I continued searching long after receiving the trophy for finding around half of em, and it's not like they benefitted my stats or gear any. Instead, it's a credit to the world Control creates that I searched high and low for all sorts of documents and tapes, each dispensing its own interesting bit of lore. The trope of organizations in charge of paranormal objects has been portrayed before in media, but this game does a great job of marrying the supernatural and those everyday objects with the stiff bureaucratic government setting. Combine this with a gorgeous artstyle and foreboding atmosphere, and Control really stands out as one of the best looking games I've played. Combat is solid; nothing too different gameplay-wise in the powers, but the destructible environment and impactful hits make the Launch attack endlessly entertaining to use. Levitation also adds some nice wrinkles and visuals. There is a lack of difficulty options, though as someone who generally plays on lower difficulties, I only really had issues with certain boss fights. The "endgame" boss battles (while they're available before finishing the game, it's definitely not recommended until you're stocked up) can be especially tough but mostly fun. However, I can't gauge how truly difficult they are since three of them were beaten thanks to glitches: one stopped attacking when I happened upon a certain floor spot, while the other fell to AI issues (enemies generally find it difficult to fight or target you when you're on higher floors). Performance-wise, I didn't have too many issues on a normal PS4. Some slowdowns here and there, especially noticeable when coming out of pause menu. The only section that it really hurt gameplay was a fight in the Archives where it slowed down enough that I couldn't time dodges or see the enemies well, which almost got me killed. Characters were generally pretty solid, with Dr. Darling, Emily the assistant, and Panopticon supervisor Langston being personal favorites. The player character Jesse also has her moments, with some very funny internal monologues. I do wish her relationship with brother Jesse - her main reason for finding the place - was better developed; while it was probably better pacing wise for the majority of the exposition in the first half to be all about the Bureau, it did mean I didn't quite care as much as I should have for the more personal storyline. The final battle could've been done better, kinda disappointing and anticlimactic. But there were enough satisfying moments throughout the campaign and side missions to make up for it. Favorite bits of the game were probably exploring the Panopticon, the Ashtray Maze, the end credits sequence, and especially Darling's Dynamite video. Overall, Control is definitely in the top tier of PlayStation games I've played, very glad to have it as the #20 platinum milestone, and I'd definitely be interested in a return to this world whenever Remedy puts out a sequel.

Popular Post blu3st4rdust305
Borderlands 2 - PS4 (#300) Milestone "Borderland Defender Round Two" My first actual FPS platinum. Played it almost exclusively with my bud and had a blast. Played as Kreig and took a long time to figure out which build fit my play style best. The mix of RPG and value of loot really worked for me. Despite my general lack of skills in shooting games, this one is developed to really let you progress and not feel overly frustrated. Did not boost, which may have been a bit of a mistake. The push to level 50 was a bit tedious, but once there the raids made for cool endgame. Yeah, this game has some uncouth humor (midgets, psychos). Besides this, the writing is pretty good and the character cards that flash to introduce a new character or boss were always cool. Many times, my bud and I were laughing like idiot boys during the course of the game. The writers even tied to the progress of Tales from the Borderlands as canon to bridge to the last DLC added that seems to also bridge to Borderlands 3. The cel shading artstyle is classic. This game has hardly aged in the graphics department. The customization of your character is also pretty sweet. The DLCs were interesting themed additions to the story with Tiny Tina's Assault on Dragon Keep as the clear stand out. The idea of various characters from the game playing a "D&D" campaign led by Tiny Tina was a stroke of genius. Her flippant changing of the rules and adjusting the setting as she goes was totally on brand. Now on to some other FPS plats.

Valzentia
#17 - Little Adventure on the Prairie Difficulty: 1/10 Fun: 2/10 Pretty much a game you play for the plat and never play again. Did have fun having my boyfriend watch me play while I did silly commentary. I could be a YouTuber with the kind of reactions I had to this game. #18 - FoxyLand Difficulty: 3/10 Fun: 2/10 Some of these levels are complete bullshit...had a little fun at first but then it just got ridiculous. Though I did burst out laughing hysterically when I suffered quite possibly the funniest death you could ever experience in a platformer. #19 - Football Game Difficulty: 1/10 Fun: 1/10 Gives off quite an eerie vibe to me...not truly sure why. Nevertheless its a decent enough point and click adventure to kill time on. I'd rather have something like a Telltale game for this sort of thing, though.
Popular Post PooPooBlast
#129 and 100% Just Cause 4 A decent Just Cause entry with a few shortcomings. I'll start with the good first: - Excellent loading times and easily surpasses JC3 in that department - Excellent framerate even in busy scenes and heavy explosions compared to JC3 - Great Modding tools for your grappling hook which is pretty customizable - Great location variety and fun vehicles to use - Great object physics - Bugs... LOOOOOOOTS of bugs (yes I put bugs here as a pro :P). Thankfully nothing gamebreaking but they did make for hilarious moments and I recorded a mini compilation to commemorate that! Enjoy Spoiler The bad: - As expected, story was meh but I suppose you don't play the Just Cause games for the story. - Downgraded explosions from JC 3 which was actually quite a disappointment for me but I suppose it's due to hardware limitations to be able to run the game at a solid framerate. Then again.. you cannot top the bavarium nuke from JC 3 so... - A buttload of stunts to do which were to be frank was the biggest disappointment. It was sooo bland and repetitive and there was no reason to make so many of them. It's not like they were challenging and fun to do like in JC3. They were very easy actually - No grenades or C4s.. they mapped a secondary firing options to weapons instead for the R1 button but why replace it though? Why remove something to add something? Regarding the DLCs, the Los Demonios DLC was just terrible, terrible, terrible. Very repetitive mission structure and you died so easily (I died more than the main game combined than just the 4 hours I spent here). DLC didn't add anything substantial either but it came with the gold edition so I played it.. The Danger Rising DLC had an interesting concept and the hoverboard was really cool but it fell short once again due to repetitive mission structure. The challenges at the end were quite nice though Finally, the Dare Devils of Destruction DLC ( was the first dlc actually released) was the best imo. I really liked that one and it was pretty unique and chaotic with the rampage missions, the survival runs in the new vehicles and cool neon races. I feel like they went all out in that first dlc and didn't know how to top it.. Overall, I feel like this game had lots of potential and Avalanche could've made a really awesome game here if they simply expanded on JC3's mechanics. Why not have the best of both worlds and implement the explosions, the grenades and C4s, and the fun challenges from JC3 while have the customizable grappling hook and stable framerate of JC4? Would've made a perfect game. Oh well, here's to hoping that JC5 fixes those things. There was still fun to be had though and I enjoyed the game for what it was. Onto the next game! Popular Post Sword
Cat Quest II #8: Pawlatinum (You are pawsome!) As you awaken from what seems like a dream, a glowing ball of light greets you exclaiming that the kings have finally returned! Kings? You look down, to find your fluffy companion next to you, looking just as confused as you are. Together with nothing but wooden swords on your backs, you embark into a world of mystery to discover the fate of your calling. Cat Quest 2 is a game I bought on sale due purely to the recommendation of it from one of my friends. So I stopped the pillaging and plundering in Skyrim to embark on a fluffy tale that had me playing the game non-stop until I completed it. Cat Quest is a game series that does not take itself too seriously, with pun-tastic dialog that will either leave you appreciating the charm the game offers... or leave you completely annoyed by it. Names of the cats and dogs in the world make references to many real life names/memes/puns that made me chuckle when I saw them. My absolute favorite name was a reference to Gordon Ramsey during a quest to fetch the ultimate hot dog. There is a certain beauty in its graphics, which play out with animations in the wind/waves, rustling of trees when you pass through them. The NPC's look like little Paper Mario characters. The game revolves around a quest/level up/combat loop with a main story and tons of side quests and optional caves to do. Weapons and outfits you obtain change the look/playstyle of your character, which is a really nice touch. You can completely make up different designs/combinations based on what you want your characters to do. During the game, you start off with one basic spell. You can obtain more spells through the gameplay loop and equip up to 4 spells at one time on your character to aid yourself/ally or damage enemies. Weapons, armor and spells can be upgraded throughout gameplay or by visiting forging locations. Trophies for Cat Quest 2 are very reasonable, if not a little on the very easy side, ranging from story, level up and completion based trophies. This game does require you to collect one copy of every unique item in the game, clear every dungeon and complete all side-quests. For many people who may have heard of RPG's and their typically grindy trophy lists, this can seem extremely daunting. Fear not though, it's not that bad at all. The game tells you exactly how many items you've found/dungeons completed/quests left to do. Dungeons can be cleared within a minute or two (most times). There is only one dungeon in the game that I would say "takes a little bit more skill" and 3 dungeons that are a bit more challenging than the rest of the game. Oh, this game has co-op support too! So you can play with a spouse, sibling, kiddo or whoever. Overall I had a lot of fun with Cat Quest 2. If you're new to RPG's or looking for a nice, relaxing and fun game to play, I'd consider checking this one out. It's not too difficult and worthy of a mention in my book.
Popular Post Eramir
Started this year with 2 platinum trophies. Really enjoyed them both. Now that I'm writing this, I'm thinking: what a coincidence, the BF2 plat is my platinum #66, just like the order 66 which Palpatine gives. Platinum #66: Star Wars Battlefront 2 Did most of the trophies back around release, left the game because I felt it missed something. Came back recently and knocked out what I thought as the hardest trophy 'Multi-Tasking'. Got that in a morning with the heroes starbattle mode. Grinding to level 50 went really fast with the triple exp event, did it in coop. Got a lot of points and really felt as a good player against the npcs. All in all it is a fun game now and I will continue playing this game in the future. The trophies aren't that hard (except Multi-Tasking) and provide an extra challenge while playing. Platinum #67: Batman: The Enemy Within It's been a while since I played a Telltale game and I almost forgot how much fun it is. Liked the first part better, but this game does a lot of good things. Couldn't stop playing, so I did two episodes the first day and three the day after. I really liked the fighting scenes in slow-motion and the plot around the Joker. Next up: I'm thinking maybe inFamous, although that game aged badly or Days Gone or none of those two. We'll see, happy gaming everyone!
