Popular Post TheMCofWumbology
#22 - Goat Simulator All the Goat! Unlock all the Goat Trophies! 29.14% - Uncommon Completed in 8 hours, 15 minutes Difficulty: 3/10 After hearing that this game and Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection were the PS Plus games for January 2020, I decided that may as well start the year off playing Goat Simulator, considering that I previously owned The Nathan Drake Collection before I traded it in, though I may consider redownloading it just for attempting the Platinum on all 3 Uncharted games. Goat Simulator is a game that's not meant to be a very polished game, but rather a very funny and wacky sandbox game where messing around as a goat with ragdoll physics and causing mayhem throughout the various worlds is the primary appeal of this game. The trophies were pretty straightforward and easy to obtain, mainly focusing on collecting trophies and doing some basic tasks that nets you trophies pretty quickly. Obviously, the trophy titled "The Flapmaster", is the hardest trophy to obtain. At first, it was frustrating trying to get a score of 10 or more, where many times I came so close, but then I choked, but after many attempts, I managed to obtain the trophy. Overall, its a pretty easy game to achieve the Platinum trophy on, with the aforementioned "The Flapmaster" trophy being the only difficult trophy to obtain, as the rest of the other 30 trophies in the base game are very easy to obtain.
Popular Post Dexistential
#19: Goat Simulator Difficulty: 2/10 Fun: 4.5/10 Time: 4 hrs 48mins Yeah let's be real, who isn't getting this free plat right now? Relatively quick and easy. Biggest pain was dealing with the quality of the game. I know it's supposed to be a dig towards these multi-million dollar budget games, but that doesn't inherently make this a fun experience. The Flappy Bird clone took some getting used to, but I knew from other people's reactions what to expect and got it out of the way early. Honestly, despite it's negatives, it's a good feeling to knock a quick plat between big games, and it pushes me one step closer toward the 20 milestone. When the DLC goes on sale I might pick it up just to 100% it.

Popular Post TonicLemonIce
#100: Dead Cells Fun: 10/10 || Plat Fun: 8/10 || Difficulty: 9/10 (becomes a 6 with maximum savescumming) || Time: around 80h || Grind: 4/10 Over the course of this long road to 100 I grew to despise the western AAA industry. Loveless, soulless cashgrabs became more apparent the more time I spent with chasing trophies. I've stopped focusing on most games I've played, I've started watching YouTube, listening to podcasts and getting my entertainment on a second screen while mostly ignoring the games I played on my TV. Platinum trophies became less than Dead Cells to me. And that's because most games are less than Dead Cells. This indie gem should be praised as an absolute superstar of the metroidvania genre. It is the pinnacle of action oriented roguelikes. The controls are fluent and responsive, the visuals are beautiful and the soundtrack is simply epic. Every run you do has high stakes as every moment could end in your permanent death. It is a game that kicks your teeth in but rewards you for becoming better at it far more than most games I've played so far. The plat itself takes you through 5/6 difficulty modes. Each difficulty is disgustingly harder than the previous one with health resources getting rarer, enemies replaced by new, harder units and everything becoming more hostile in general. Even the first difficulty is no joke. But you get rewarded by more cells for better upgrades, by more blueprints for interesting weapons and by learning new strategies. You need to also understand the bosses perfectly since there are no-damage trophies attached to the game. It's possible to savescum those a bit, I decided not to because the game is just so fun no matter how often I had to replay it. The roguelike genre is propably my favorite genre at this point. It seems to get the most value out of games for me, the genre motivates replayability and experimentation at its core. And this game right here is the most well-crafted roguelike I've ever played. It is difficult, crazy, highly cynical and really intriguing. I just had to scrape every other contender for my 100th plat - because this game is such an indie masterpiece that puts the entire AAA industry to fucking shame. This is one of the games which doesn't need side entertainment. It is just that strong on its own. Pick it up. Play it. Give it a shot and you won't regret it! Your dopamine levels will spike, I promise Edited January 9, 2020 by TonicLemonIce

It was not really hard, couple fight took few tries. Playing bioware games again makes me miss old bioware. Popular Post AccessEngage21
#121 Zeroptian Invation (Ps4 Version) Platinum Invasion Difficulty: 2/10 (there i suppose) Fun: 5/10 (Fine) Rarity: 91,81% Time to Beat: 17 minutes, 50 seconds So, back again with another plat, this time like the last, is another easy one, and one that really did nothing to change me XP, i mean, i love arcades shoot`em ups (Resogun, Fast Striker, Strikers 1945 series, etc) but this one feels like cheap wine, no really expensive but mehh taste. Gameplay feels ok, and it got the classic space invaders looks and thats it, put some bosses here and there and you got your knock off game ^-^..... Anyway, game works fine and im grateful for that, so if anyone love this type of games, it does what its promise, i wish a little more difficult balance between the stages and other stuff. Compatible with ps tv too, so that a plus, and boss level 7 is cheap, cheap i tell you!!.

Popular Post Eraezr
#55: Fighting EX Layer ARIKA's Street Fighter EX Plus Alpha was my first ever fighting game from when I was 5 years old. The last EX game they made before FEXL was Street Fighter EX 3 after which Capcom decided to put a halt on the series. ARIKA pitched multiple ideas to Capcom but they were all rejected because the company wanted to make masterpieces like SFV instead /s. This pushed ARIKA into a situation where they still ended up developing a prototype on Unreal Engine 4 and sought to self-fund themselves with this humble fighting game instead. As it's said on Wikipedia Quote Arika's president Akira Nishitani remarked that the company had just enough funds to see the project through to completion without external help. While he viewed the game as passion project for the studio, he said that his primary goal was to keep the company healthy financially. Nishitani noted that he was searching for potential partnerships with publishers and investors to secure additional funding, which would allow the development team to expand the game's scope and character roster. Having platinumed both Street Fighter V and this one, I'd like to say that Capcom was foolish not to support ARIKA. Despite their meagre budget (at one point, the studio didn't have a single 4K-supported monitor during development), ARIKA managed to do a number of things better than SFV, like having a more intuitive and efficient Training Mode, better UIs, each character feels a lot more unique and interesting to play than half the "dull flavours" in the roster of a heavily monetised SFV. Among other things. ARIKA has also been gracious enough to have all new characters be given free to the players via patches sans the Terry Bogard character whom I think is set as a DLC as he's an SNK guest licenced fighter. I'm glad I supported this game. I hope Nishitani and his studio will get the support they deserve to further the series' ambitions. Popular Post Undead Wolf
#300 - Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice Sekiro All trophies have been unlocked. That's right, the big 300! I also managed to pop this plat on my birthday and all it took was me spending pretty much the entire day grinding for skill points... worth it. As a big fan of FromSoftware's "Soulsborne" games, of course I purchased this game when it came out in March of 2019 and even popped a few trophies. I only played it for a few hours, but I knew it was something special, so I made the tough decision to put the game on hold and save it for my 300th platinum milestone. It made sense to continue the FromSoftware theme I had going with my milestones since #100 was Demon's Souls and #200 was Dark Souls Remastered. So yeah, I spent most of 2019 popping plats like crazy so I could get back to this game sooner. While there are similarities between this game and FromSoftware's previous titles, Sekiro is a very different beast. For starters, it's set in Sengoku-era Japan, whereas the Soulsborne games had a very obvious European influence. As a giant weeb myself, I approve of this change. Not only is the setting cool, but playing as a shinobi was great too because of how agile you feel. You can use your grappling hook to gain height, jump off buildings, shimmy on ledges, etc. There's a great amount of verticality in this game which provides a lot of options when it comes to both exploration and combat. Stealth also plays a big part in this game and it was very satisfying when you managed to pull it off, especially against an unsuspecting miniboss. Speaking of satisfying things, the sword combat was on a whole other level! I really liked the focus on breaking your enemy's posture instead of just reducing their health bar (although it's still a factor). It made the sword fights really intense, especially with the deflection mechanic and the executions. The sound of the swords clanging together was like music to my ears too. ? The story was told to you in a more direct way compared to the Soulsborne games, but that wasn't a bad thing at all. There are still some things you have to piece together yourself, but it was more direct, and I think I prefer that honestly. Previously I said Death Stranding was my favourite game of 2019, but now that's I've actually finished one, it definitely takes the top spot. It very well might be my favourite FromSoftware game too, or it's at least on par with Bloodborne. The platinum was pretty straightforward to get, just some skill point grinding that I previously mentioned which was a bit tedious. Overall, I'm very glad I decided to make this my 300th plat. Incredible game!

Popular Post RedRodriguez87
#273: True Warrior of the 3 Kingdoms *shrugs* I liked it alright. I have played DW off an on ever since 2, all the way up to 5, where I stopped (give or take a Warriors Orochi 2 psp playthrough here and there). Honestly, this is the first game that's come close to given me everything I could ever want from a Dynasty Warrior game. - The changes to combat. No longer do you have to input long strings of buttons to get to your favorite finisher, now you could execute it whenever, and then follow it up however you choose. - Easy weapon switching. No more stopping a play-through just to play with a different character; now you can buy all the weapons from the store and experience every bodies moveset from the comfort of one character! Granted, all the characters have their unique musous still. - An open world with plenty of activities. Since this game revolves around war in one land, it really makes sense that the whole game would feel like one giant world where everything is connected. There are plenty of fast travel options, so travelling was never cumbersome. However, I know everything I listed is an understandable reason for long-time fans to NOT like it. - Combos are much shorter than before, and the tweaks made mean a lot of move-sets kinda blend together. - Weapon switching completely negates all character's individuality, since everyone has access to the same moves all the time. - The open world is.... TOO open, TOO big. As a result, the game itself looks really bland, Most of the activities are relegated to cities, so there's little incentive to really explore the wilderness outside of harassing animals. And of course, that means whenever you break away from the open world, be expected to witness lots and lots and lots of loading. This point leads me into my one true negative opinion on the game; The cut-scenes. No longer are the pre-rendered cinematic vignettes (not enough room, i'm guessing), but instead are 99% of the time two talking heads yammering back and forth to each other with nothing exciting happening. Not helping things is the aforementioned loading, which will greet you every time you try and skip a cut-scene, which means you'll be doing a whole lot of waiting just to get the next part of the game ala Sonic 2006. TO BE FAIR, This was fine for the most part, as I was invested in the stories of the 3 individual kingdoms, but then you get the Jin kingdom. I'll be blunt, I thought Jin kingdom sucked. We went from stories involving parties of power, of honor, of family, with a diverse looking cast of young and old, weird and proper, to a ragtag cleanup crew comprised of animu pretty-faces with animu motivations and animu characterizations. I'm guessing they were put in, because DW for the longest time never had a proper conclusion narratively speaking like the source material, but still, it's "Romance of the Three Kingdoms", not "Romance of the Three Kingdoms plus one shmuck Kingdom Nobody gives a crap about". But still, I DID have a lot of fun with it. Outside of cut-scenes, there where only a few trophies that were kinda sorta maybe tedious, but nothing that made me dislike the game even remotely.
Popular Post Redgrave
- #171: Revenant Preeminent - Code Vein If there was a game that I could describe as a slog to play through this one is definitely it. Normally I would quit with a game like that but if it weren't for the co-op I would have tapped out after a first playthrough at best. This game on the surface comes off like Anime Dark Souls which at first seemed promising. It's a pretty simple concept so what could go wrong? Well once you get to the area that totally isn't Anor Londo after the first couple of hours it felt like I was tricked and instead of what could have been Dark Souls was just a cheap imitation. The thing that sticks out the most was how the level design was some of the most frustrating things I can say I've come across in a game. I honestly can not think of any other game where I just felt like I was constantly lost and going into dead-ends because of how everything looks the same in each level. In not-Anor Londo for example, all of the walls and floors are just white stone and this stretches on for what feels like hours just trying to find out where you need to go and most of the time it is because you need to go down some stairs in some area, find a lever, and then when you pull that lever you lower a ladder on the other end of the map which you then have to hopefully not get lost finding. And while there is a map, it doesn't really help much at all when the map doesn't account for the layers that you need to traverse to get to the ladder. So if you need to go through an area below the ladder then good luck finding it. To my horror, this was only the tip of the iceberg as later levels were not any better and in some ways far worse. In something like Dark Souls or Bloodborne, or even other Souls inspired games like Nioh and Fallen Order, every area will look different and have something that will stand out from the others. Generally these things are landmarks that help you think "Okay, I know what this is and so I will know where I am if I come across this again." In Code Vein, there is very rarely anything resembling a landmark or something that can help you differentiate the different spots in these levels. At best there may be a corpse or something in a hallway but the thing is, so does another hallway. So you are just left guessing that you are on the right path if you haven't already run in circles a thousand times. And when it comes to different looking spots it barely makes a difference either since areas just look so same-y that the only way you would know you were in a certain area is the dots on the map showing your footprints. But again, good luck looking around when eventually the map just has dots all over the place. And to top it all off, later levels start to have gimmicks that make them even more dreadful to go through. One level for example, is just a big fire hazard so you will have no choice but to take damage from fire floors and get juggled around by fire walls. Another is an area where your special ability meter gets drained slowly which will probably put you at a disadvantage when you fight the boss. Also the sand slows you down, as if the game didn't feel slow enough already. The final area is an underground cavern with vines that can shoot out of the walls. But also like Soulsborne games, there are shortcuts that you can unlock. However in Soulsborne shortcuts are something that compliment the complex and well made design of the levels and it brings a nice feeling of accomplishment when finding one after all the trouble you normally have to go through. In Code Vein it's more of a "Oh good I don't have to run through this shit again" sort of feeling. I haven't even touched the story or the characters but I really don't know what to say about either because I lost interest in the story some time after not-Anor Londo and the characters just felt so one dimensional that I didn't really care anymore. I guess I liked Io and how she would say encouraging things. Mia was alright too. But everyone and everything about this game just felt like it wanted to have all the elements of Dark Souls but it lacked pretty much everything that made the good Soulsborne games great. It can be said that Dark Souls II lives in the shadows of Dark Souls 1, 3, and Bloodborne, and despite it's issues it still in a way is Dark Souls. Code Vein however is not only trying to be in the shadow, but it wants to wear the face. And the worst part is, this game will probably haunt me just a bit longer when the DLC comes out if it comes with DLC trophies. I think I would much rather have Liam Neeson beat me to near death with a cosh than see what kind of things the DLC would have in store. I'm sure it would take the Dark Souls II route and just re-skin certain bosses and buff their damage and health to pretend they are making it more difficult. But at least I'll have my partner @Undead Wolf to suffer it with me

Popular Post theSpirae
Battlefield V Multiplayer had barely any trophies, which I don't mind as I didn't enjoy it as much as the previous installment in the series - Battlefield 1. Still, pretty decent multiplayer and the events are keeping the game alive and healthy. The single-player campaign was super short. If I didn't play on the hardest difficulty; resulting in repeating a few checkpoints a couple of times, I would be done with the game in probably 4 hours. This way it took me probably around 6. All the stories were enjoyable and quite diverse. Edited January 10, 2020 by theSpirae

Popular Post Copanele
No.76 : DmC Devil May Cry(PS3) +100% Vergil's Downfall Platinum Name : Platinum Trophy Hardest Trophy : Devils never cry - finish Dante Must Die mode Completion rate : 5.51% platinum(very rare), 1.43% 100% Time to complete : 1 week, 6 days, 20 hours (casual playthrough around the holidays, most likely would take way less to complete) Difficulty : 4/10 Personal impression : 6.8/10 This is my final DMC game on PS3/PS4. In this "infamous" reboot, you control angsty teen Dante in his battle against the demonic forces of corporate demon lord Mundus. The game is far easier than the main installment of the series(well maybe apart from DMC2 but that can barely even be considered a game). Although you do have variety, all you really need to do is just upgrade your Rebellion and first extra weapon Arbiter and you are good to go. While the game ain't particularly challenging, it does require numerous playthroughs to complete. The worst part of the game and the main complaining from the users is the story which is absolutely stupid. Dante is a foul mouthed angsty teen that is disliked by everyone, Vergil is a piece of turd with a fedora and Kat...well she tries. Mundus is allright I guess, I mean that's how I imagine every single CEO of multinational corporations However the lines everyone delivers makes me want to visit a church, they are THAT bad. Still, the game is not as bad as most "diehard" fans make it sound. It's just not the quality of the main series. Bosses are forgettable most of them and dissapointing, excepting Bob Barbas. Fighting an anchorman and appearing on TV doing sick combos, now this is what I like! Reminder of the original series where Dante is just screwing around with bosses. He is a direct parody of Bill O'Reily, but since I know nothing of US news...whoever knows that dude will get the references, because I sure didn't. I was content in punching his face with Eryx. Vergil's Downfall DLC is crap though. I did not enjoy it mainly because Vergil is a pansy in it. Unlike DMC3 and DMC4SE, Vergil is not fun to use here. He's too weak and the enemies are "anti-vergil " designed - can't be launched that easily, have annoying shields and so on. I completed the DLC first just so I can be spared by the dread later on. Not really the worst game but I will most likely sell the disc as soon as possible. If anyone is interested in the reboot, do pick the Definitive Edition on PS4, it fixes a lot of issues and is overall better (though not fixing the crap story).
Popular Post Rick_Sanchez
Platinum # 237 Fun: 9/10 Difficulty 7.5/10 Catherine returns to the PS4 with a new love interest for Vincent, Rin, who is someone who has amnesia and thanks to Vincent has a job at the bar he hangs out at and an apartment close by to his place as well. Going any further about Rin would be spoiler territory so I'll stop here. Catherine is one part story game, one part puzzle game where you have to guide Vincent to the top of a tower of blocks within his nightmares from night to night. During the time when he's awake, you can chat with his friends in the bar and other patrons to help them with their issues. As you converse with others and answer questions, a moral meter will be pulled to the order or chaos side depending on your answers. This same meter shows up at the end of most night mare levels and will determine which ending Vincent will get. Victims Players of the 1st game will remember how brutally difficult Catherine was on the PS3/360, the difficulty is still here along with a remix mode where the blocks form huge shapes such as a giant T, a 2x2 block, and more which adds a new layer of challenge to an already difficult game. There quite an amount of new content to explore including new endings for both of the original women along with Rin's endings, and a whole new stage related to Rin's endings. While this game is slightly more forgiving than its PS3 counterpart, it's still difficult as hell.
Popular Post NorbR338055
#41 - Goat Simulator Difficulty: 5/10 Enjoyment: 1/10 Well that does it, this is officially the worst game I've ever played. I know I'm going to sound like an old grump who can't take a bit of fun, but seriously, I'm all for a bit of absurd and chaos, but this game does it terribly. It controls like a bag of fish, it's full of bugs, and everything that's supposed to be fun turns into a fight with the controls that makes you want to pull out your own teeth. I gave 1/10 for enjoyment because I suppose it can be fun for 10 minutes, running around destroying everything, licking stuff and grabbing people ... but that's about it. Everything else is torture. In that genre, Untitled Goose Game did things a lot better (and I'm not even that much of a fan of that particular game). The trophies are straightforward enough ... everyone knows that Flappy Bird is hard, it is hard indeed, and I'm not going to complain again about the controls (but seriously those hitboxes ... and that lag on the controls ... ugh ?) The trampoline one was also really hard for me, took me a while to make it work, and the first time I did the trophy didn't pop (hey look, one more thing I can complain about). Anyway, at least I got a somewhat fun plat screenshot out of it. Anyway, that's the beauty of PS+ I suppose, sometimes you get hidden jewels, sometimes you get a free boost to your blood pressure. Never again. Uninstalled.
