Popular Post StilRh
Plat #139. Vampyr Fun 7/10 Difficulty 4/10 Play time - Around 25 hours Enjoyed this a lot, the atmosphere, story, character back stories etc were excellent. The combat was average, I feel if you were not constrained to peaceful playthrough you would have more options in combat. At several points I wished I were playing Bloodbourne. Playing through underleveled was pretty easy for the most part. Collectables were not impossible either. The only complaint I have is several crashes and one moment where I replayed 5 hours because I picked a peaceful option that resulted in a district going hostile immediately
Popular Post madbuk
#306 - The Walking Dead: The Final Season I'm so happy Clementine and AJ got their conclusion despite the collapse of Telltale. Not only because of the fact they were the only impossible trophies on my list at the time of collapse, but also because Clementine's story began almost 7 years ago, and it would've been quite sad if it got interrupted right before the finish line. I'm happy with the way it ended. Other than that there's not much I can really say about this game without going heavily into spoiler territory. The trophy list is different and full of missables, and clean-up was a bit of a chore as I avoided a guide my first time through (as I have started doing with all games like this, such as Detroit, Until Dawn and Heavy Rain) and there was no way to speed up dialogue or skip it outright. I'd say this is probably better than season 2 and 3, although I liked all of them so idk, I'm not part of the camp that hates 2.
Popular Post Dragon-Archon
#199: God Eater 3 First of all, what's up with the plat image? Where is the badass Fenrir logo, or even the Gleipnir logo? Moving on, this game has it's pros and cons. The story is good, but game mechanics were overhauled and the bullets + skills were nerfed a lot. In GE3 custom bullets can be fired a limited amount of times and you can only take up to 6 custom bullets with you. The amount of skills that can be equipped and the quality of the skills has been lowered significantly. In GER and GE2 skills could to up to lvl 10 and there were even compoound skills that contained 2-4 other skills, but only took up 1 skill slot. In GE3 skills only go to lvl 5 and there are no compound skills. I really hope the GE3 expansion will bring back compound skills, as I like to spent time farming compound skills and become a god-like character. Besides that, the outfits are mostly the same too, with only minor differences, such as short sleeves, straight collar, etc. For some outfits I can't even tell what's different. The devs have released a few patches that adds more outfits and customization options, so I'm hoping that continues. There are some good things too, such as an upgrade tree that shows the different upgrade paths of weapons and shields. That makes it easy to see which materials are needed. The new weapons are great too and I especially like the dual wield weapon that transforms into a double bladed glaive. There are lots of new enemies too and 2 of my favourites are in the game too ( those are Hannibal and Kyuubi). I'm hoping Susano'o makes it to the game too at some point. There's also a new mechanic called Engage, that allows 2 party members to link together and share other mechanics (Burst mode and Acceleration Trigger). This sort of offsets the nerfed skills, albeit temporary, as Burst, Acceleration Trigger, and Engage don't last very long. Besides being able to co-op the story, there are special co-op missions (called assault missions) that have a time limit of 5 minutes. These missions are the only way to unlock new Engage effects, which sucks. Because you unlock the effects that other members of your party have at the end. It's not necessary for the platinum trophy to obtain any of these, but I like creating a great build, so I spent a few hours doing assault missions and got all but 3 Engage effects. Starting a new character doesn't transfer the unlocked Engage effects, meaning those need to be unlocked from scratch again. Patch 1.20 added 60 new challenge missions: there are 30 standard missions that can be done with a party and there are 30 elite missions, which are identical to the standard missions, but must be done solo. Completing these adds new customization options and new outfits of your party members. There's also a new enemy in mission 20. I managed to complete all 30 standard missions and currently have completed 14 elite missions. I'm going to attempt to complete the last 16 too.

Popular Post Wert
94 Monster Monpiece Monster Monpiece Master This platinum took both a physical and mental toll. It's ostensibly a mediocre card game, but in the end devolves into creepily rubbing pictures of young children into wearing skimpier clothing. For hours. If I hadn't essentially done this on a dare, I would have quit about 20 minutes in and hidden the game.
Popular Post PFinchen
#118 - Beat Cop A fun game, but I admit that I didn’t go about it in the most efficient way possible. I wanted to enjoy the game without using a guide, so it’s absolutely my fault, but it got a bit tedious to wrap up with the various endings. Overall, not a particularly difficult platinum, especially if you use a guide.
Popular Post blu3st4rdust305
God of War: Chains of Olympus- PS3 (#189) "Above and Beyond" This marks my 5th God of War platinum in less than two months. By now the formula is clear and stale. This game is an up-port of a PSP game, allowing it to be excused for being a bit lacking in detail and depth. The character models and environments are decidedly dull. The story is as is almost always the case, inconsequential. Something about Hades's wife and Kratos's daughter (?). There is a titan involved, creating a couple of impressive set pieces. Where this game shines, is the combat system. This is even more impressive considering it is more fluid, dynamic and satisfying than Ascension. It managed a good block and parry system which the developers seem to have forgotten when sitting down to work on the much more advanced system, mainline game entry. The weapons and magic are not numerous, but this does not really detract from the game. The enemy designs are few, but the game does not drag to create boring combat sequences. The developers also chose to pair enemy classes in unusual, challenging groups in combat arenas to force a correction in how one approaches the fight. This is, of course, until you get the Gauntlet of Zeus. The challenges are tough and center on unique scenarios requiring high precision and, honestly, a fair amount of luck. The trophies are largely very easy with only the 50 satyr kills and 1000 combo being remotely grindy. Just one more legacy God of War game to go. Might give it a couple of weeks to avoid burning out and try to enjoy the last of the original formula.

Popular Post IceSoul21
Murdered Soul Suspect "Moving on" Enjoyment: 7/10 Difficulty: 2/10 Rarity: Uncommon (40.02% in PSNProfiles) The game was on sale on the PS Store and since it was so cheap, I decided to get it and see how it was since I was interested in it. Well, what can I say about the game? It's not bad by any means, but it's average. Without going into spoilers, just in case, you play as Ronan, a cop trying to catch the "Bell Killer". However, the Bell Killer, well, kills you and you play as a ghost in order to catch him so you can move on to the afterlife and be with your wife. The game is simple, with a lot of collectibles that you can easily get if you follow a guide, but I got some of them without checking one. You can possess people, but the only thing it does, is that you can make them remember or think about things that can help you in the chase for your killer or help other spirits to find peace. I think they could've done much more with the game, but it was still a good game IMO.

Popular Post starcrunch061
I'm back yet again to the plat thread this week, with the following: Plat #329: Castlevania Requiem A Miserable Little Pile of Secrets Unlock all trophies for Castlevania: Symphony of the Night and Castlevania: Rondo of Blood A decent collection for the $10 I paid for it. SotN remains strong, but Rondo of Blood was a disappointment. The trophies, however, are excellent. Some effort was put into their generation (so obviously, Konami wasn't involved). I'm looking forward to the Castlevania Collection. Edited March 29, 2019 by starcrunch061

Popular Post Dragon-Archon
#200: Kingdom Hearts III Here it is, platinum trophy #200 . I've been wanting a Kingdom Hearts plat as a milestone for a long time now and was planning to make the first KH game plat #75, but that failed. I've been looking forward to this game since KH2 was released back in 2005 and I must say, the game wasn't as good as I'd hoped, but more about that. The game picks up immediately where 0.2 A Fragmentary Passage left of. First, the good things. IMO it's best thing are the graphics: the game is visually amazing. Yep, that's right: not the story or bosses, but the visuals. The gummi ship part has been improved too: the missions have a very similar setup to KH2, but outside of missions is a free roam part. The intro song (Face My Fears) is amazing, I have a very hard time deciding if it's better than Simple and Clean (the intro song of the first game), which is one of the best intro songs I've seen in games. It's possible to equip 3 keyblades and switch between those, though it's not possible to wield those simultaneously (or even dual wield 2 keyblades). Twilight Town was full of NPCs, which made it feel alive as opposed to Traverse Town and Twilight Town from the previous games, which felt completely deserted. Olympus finally follows the events from the movie. As for what's disappointing about the game, well that's quite a lot sadly. The Disney worlds felt like filler content or just a way too long prologue, since that added nothing to the story. Suddenly, the plot picks up during the last 3-4 hours and all Organization members are fought in the last world. I wish that was balanced more. The final clash between light and dark has been revealed in Dream Drop Distance, so having only 4 hours of overall story content is way too much for a €60 game. Sora is still treated as the hero that solves everything, even though Riku and Mickey had a much harder job. In fact, every other Guardian of Light except Sora didn't get much screentime at all. Maleficent and Pete's role was also non-existent, which was disappointing. Most of the world's story could've been better too. It looks like Disney didn't want the plot of new movies revealed, so the story feels rushed and incomplete. Almost as if Disney wants to say: "Oh you want to understand what's happening? Well, #$%& you, go watch the movie." In previous KH game Sora would experience the story of the movie, but in worlds like Arendelle and Kingdom of Corona, the story occurs mostly when Sora isn't there (you don't even get to visit the town of Arendelle). The final boss fights were a bit of a letdown too: Xehanort mostly uses very fast attacks that can't be dodged or blocked when in the middle of a combo and moves away after he's done. By the time I caught up, he was already doing his next attack. Twilight Town was disappointingly short too. Radiant Garden only appeared in cutscenes and not a single Final Fantasy character was in the game. Most of the boss fight soundtrack is recycled from previous games, which is a letdown. The final fights even have a remix of other tracks with something new thrown in there. I do like the battle ost from The Caribbean and Scala ad Caelum. I'm surprised those weren't used as the ost for the final fight. The game is also very easy and there's just 1 post-game boss, which also uses dashes and extremely fast combos. Those dashes and fast combos artificially increase the difficulty somewhat, but that's just a cheap way of making something harder. The loading times are atrocious and can take more than 30 seconds to load. All in all I have very mixed feelings about the game. It feels like a half game, just like DDD, where the worlds don't matter as the story doesn't progress until the end. Dream Drop Distance, 0.2 A Fragmentary Passage, and KH3 barely have enough story content to form 1 game.

Popular Post Masamune
Platinum Trophy Unlocked all trophies Difficulty: 2.5/10 (on easy with Surviver glitch at end) Enjoyment: 8/10 Playtime: 18:34:28 (2 days, 4 hours, 49 minutes, 25 seconds) Screenshot: Spoiler That was fun, it's been a while since I played any Bioshock. I probably should've played on something a little higher than easy though, that's a little too easy (most enemies get one-shot, & I rarely ever got below half health). ? I heard there were a lot of glitchy problems with this version, I did have to replay the Fort Frolic level since Sanders got stuck at the end & would just keep walking in place... but other than that, it was just fine. I did feel pretty stupid at one point while playing this, but I completely forgot you could aim down the sights with your guns in this game (), & I didn't figure this out till the 2nd to last level. I also didn't know that the Challenge Rooms DLC was kindly included for free, so I may check that out next.
Popular Post NorbR338055
#27 - Unravel Difficulty: 3/10 Enjoyment: 8/10 This is such a beautiful game. Superb graphics, beautiful soundtrack, and a lovely story. I wasn't necessarily planning on getting the platinum, I figured I'd just play this as a fun relaxing game, but once I finished it the first time, I couldn't wait to play it again. It's still a bit tedious to go through all the levels again and get them without dying (and of course it's when you're trying not do die that you die in the stupidest fashion ...) but I loved the game nonetheless. There's no real difficulty to getting the platinum. Some levels are tricky but once you find the way to traverse, it's not hard at all (still, those crows ...) I used the guide for the collectibles, but with the exception of one or two of them, I'm sure they can be found easily without it. Highly recommended. I can't wait to move on to Unravel 2 (though from what I've read, I won't be getting the platinum for that one ...)

This is somewhat a good Tales, much better that i expected. I like the story for this one more that Zesteria, but still can't put it on my top 5 tales game. Anyway everything is pretty good with a lot of mini game story is good. I hope they will make more good tales games. So far Tales game is getting lesser and the quality is dropping, So hope this will change in the future.
