Popular Post Stormverse
Very fun game, the platinum took 70 hours. Nothing is missable but you pretty much need to 100% everything the game has to offer. Anyone that likes Atelier games I would recommend this to, its basically like those except you make food instead of weapons/armor/alchemy stuff. It's a Kemco game but it has a surprising amount of content for one. Edited April 14, 2019 by Stormverse
Popular Post DamagingRob
#388- Senran Kagura Shinovi Versus Thank You for Playing!! Obtained all trophies. So, this was... something. I did play the rhythm spinoff, but that had a lot less characters than this one. That masochistic girl.. Oh, my. :/ There were things I liked, and things I didn't. But overall, I'd say I probably enjoyed it. A lot of the music was great, and some of the arenas you fight in looked really cool. But it did kind of grow old after awhile, doing the same thing over and over and over... Which is pretty typical of the musou genre, and it just might not be my thing (I did highly enjoy Pirate Warriors 2, though). But chances are good that I'll probably buy the others.

Popular Post Gommes_
Blazblue Cross Tag Battle #97 Crossing Fate This one was pretty fun and actually really easy. Nothing I would automatically assume when hearing about BlazBlue. I platinumed Continuum Shift Extend and that one was at another level. And not even the hardest amongst the franchise. Anyway, Cross Tag Battle was a good game and besides the fighting I liked the episode mode with the fantastic voice actors/actresses. Wished that would've been longer. The fighting mechanic was great as well and the game looks stunning. The higher resolution compared to the PS3 version really shows. The only downside is the limited roster, cause Arc System Works put this one out with 20 characters and wants to provide another 20 as DLC. Nothing I am too fond of. Even worse is that I read that there is a complete version coming out this year. To sum it up, good and short game I had fun with but the lack of fighters is a big minus. Popular Post Joa-Escherich
#30 - DIABLO III: REAPER OF SOULS Difficulty: 3/10 Enjoyment: 7/10 I have played ALOT of Diablo 3 on my pc. Like atleast 200-300 hours. So when i where able to grab this game at a decent prize, i knew i wanted it to be my plat number 30. I where fortunate enough to have a friend playing with me in the beginning of my/our journey. It really helped alot to grind a Hardcore char to level 70 (we did it in story mode to get rid of that trophy too while at it). Sadly i grinded almost 450 bounties alone in the end to reach the plat. And i have to admit that grind did something bad to the overall enjoyment of this plat. It seems like SUCH alot of grinding on 1 trophy, compared to the rest of the list (sure, 6 chars to 70 can be abit grindy if you don't play seasonal char, but then that's your decision to make the grind hard). The plat is deffently not hard in my oppinion. However, i had played Diablo before. I would deffently recommend the game to anyone who loves these kind of games. The option to Quick Match into open lobbys where nice I mainly played Multishot Demon Hunter and Whirldwind Barbar for the grinding

Popular Post Omar
#142 - God of War Father and Son - Obtain all other trophies Achieved: April 15th, 2019 PSNP's RS: Uncommon Difficulty: 4 Enjoyment: 9 I was extremely intrigued by the fact that this game won GOTY, so when I got into it, I was ready to be surprised, but not THIS surprised this game is a non-stop flex in our faces that starts pretty early and doesn't really let up, it keeps flexing as hard as it can and then it ends and it's AWESOME: I loved the RPG touches and exploring the entirety of the realms, which were visually gorgeous and had a great amount of things to obtain. Combat is pretty intense, particularly late game and in the post game and I love how the game manages to stay within one single shot, no camera cuts throughout! Definitely deserving of the GOTY badge, I'm beyond ready for the next one already!
Popular Post Omelette Paradise
#276 Rime A beautiful game with a beautiful soundtrack. I really enjoyed this. The game begins with a boy who has washed ashore on a lush looking island (the kind of island you'd definitely want to wash up on if your boat were to sink) which has a giant tower at the centre of it. A mysterious (and cute looking) fox helps pops up from time to time to guide you as you make your way towards it in the hope of finding the boy's father. The story contained within is rather loose but I found it touching, especially with the way it explores the "five stages of grief" in particular. Making my way towards the end of the game, the true meaning behind the story began to reveal itself to me a lot more and as a father myself, the ending was quite the gut punch. If you grabbed this when it was on PS+ and it's sitting in your backlog then give it a go. It's not for everyone and I can totally understand why some may find it boring but personally I loved it Enjoyment: 10/10 Difficulty: 5/10

Popular Post FluffyAssassin64
#106 - Tom Clancy's The Division 2 "Platinum Agent" Unlock every Trophy in Tom Clancy's The Division 2. Being a veteran of ~2000 hours in the Destiny series (across 1 and 2, don't @ me), but feeling burnt out (I wonder why?) and looking for another looter shooter, I figured that I would give The Division a crack. I'd heard great things about the series and it's evolution since the early days of Div 1, and I was pleasantly surprised with this sequel at launch. Especially considering the disaster of Anthem, and the relatively poor launch of most looter shooters, I was quite impressed with the launch of Div 2. Was it perfect? No, but it was a heck of a lot of fun First, the good. Beautiful open world, HEAPS of loot (dozens from some missions and farming the DZ in an hour or two), fun abilities and gunplay, addictive gameplay loop, fun solo and with friends, solid progression system, enjoyable (mostly) DZ, pretty solid matchmaking... there's a lot to love here. Now, the not so good. Dot points will be easier here. Also before you get triggered, I know this is a newly-released open world always-online game so I can expect some glitches, but when Destiny runs butter-smooth for the most part, they're harder to excuse imo: Visual glitches, visual glitches everywhere. I've heard about the PS Pro having more issues (what I played on), but I had issues most - if not all - play sessions. Horrendous pop-in, enemies randomly teleporting, tripping down/up stairs, and even the whole geometry of the game breaking (primarily if I accidentally walk near a door I'm 'not supposed to enter' in the DZ). Surprisingly, I didn't see much about this last issue online, but it made the game literally unplayable. It's hard to describe clearly, but I was under/inside the backgrounds, and I ran into invisible walls everywhere, couldn't exit, couldn't access menus, etc... haha. Only in DZ though strangely Audio bugs and glitches, also everywhere. From gun sounds not playing, to sounding like wet noodles, to music playing loudly/softly and then stopping suddenly, this was noticeably probably every 30 mins or so (or at least once a mission). Happened solo and in group. Pretty awful story and characters. After a promising opening, I was shocked by how poorly the story was told, and how characters were developed. New people came out of nowhere with little to know introduction, and then you're meant to care about them? Then it's another random person who disappears again quickly. The cutscenes were cool but extremely short, and left me disappointment. Again, I know you can say "this is a looter shooter, the story doesn't even matter!" and you're right - the focus here is very much on the looting and shooting. Again though, at least in something like Destiny it feels like you're achieving something or something cool is happening. Probably the worst offender was a late-game stronghold where - after some of the worst 'military desertion' dialogue I've heard - THE APOCALYPSE IS UPON US!!!! ... and then, "good job agent, but there's still more to do".... umm, WUT? Did you not just see what almost happened? haha As an extension of the above, lore seemed interesting at first, but it all kind of just leads... nowhere. It's cool to get a bit of backstory, but it comes across as very basic. Again, perhaps I was spoiled with Destiny's INCREDIBLE lore, but I was a bit let down here. There were a few other bits and pieces that I had mixed opinions about; stats and numbers being seemingly inconsistent (damage numbers on weapons changing?!), inventory management being a bit messy (though certainly serviceable), and mod system and crafting (why make it next to useless?)... but ultimately they are minor issues that I know will be fixed. And when I say that, I don't mean like a "ANthEM wIlL BE fiXEd sOmeDAy" thing, I mean like a, "I'm still having an absolute blast, but I'm looking forward to when they fix these things" kinda deal. Obviously there are other issues like balancing stuff, PVP connectivity/abuse, set bonuses being next to useless, exotic weapons being underwhelming... but again, I also know this will be fixed soon. Now, my review might give the impression that I didn't like the game, but that couldn't be further from the truth. I had an absolute blast here - both solo and with friends - and I think this may be the best looter shooter launch I've seen yet. I would honestly recommend this higher than most other games in the genre at the moment (or at least, to tide you over until Borderlands 3 comes out later this year!). Trophies are pretty easy too (though some will require grinding, and others will have you working with a buddy or two). Also, despite my 'usual' advice to play a game blind without a guide for the first play through, I honestly don't think it would have changed my experience her much at all; so go right ahead! td;dr: Very fun looter shooter (solo or with mates), addictive gameplay, quite a few bugs/glitches (but nothing that 'ruins' the experience), worth the price imo Also Raid coming soon! Popular Post GraniteSnake
#133: Dead Nation: Apocalypse Edition My second time picking up this platinum. Romero would indeed be proud! It's honestly hard to believe that it's been almost 8 years since I got the platinum for the PS3 version of this title. Revisiting this game was a fun experience, and it's led me to believe that this may just be my favourite indie. I started off on Normal difficulty, and got all of the collectibles out of the way first. It was quite tedious following a video guide, and it sort of spoiled my reintroduction to the game, but it was great to have the collectibles out of the way early on. Next up was Grim difficulty, and I coasted through it with little to no difficulty. All that was left was to beat the game on Morbid, and this was once again very manageable. A fully upgraded Shocker was incredibly effective in the later levels, as well as the grenade launcher accompanied by some flares. Highway to Hell has some difficult sections, but nothing too extreme. I was then able to breeze through the game in co-op with a buddy, as well as help him achieve all of the 'Road of Devastation' trophies. I wasn't sure if we were going to be able to reach round 10 in duos, but we got there on our second attempt. I had already reached level 10 solo so that was beneficial of course. I would say Endless mode is probably the most difficult part of this platinum, but the video guide provided here made it pretty doable. It took me roughly 5 attempts, so it ended up being more time consuming rather than actually difficult. My final play time was around 15 hours and I enjoyed every minute of it. If I ever do decide to pick up a PS Vita, I'll probably end up stacking this for a third time. Excellent game! #134: Energy Cycle Very little to say about this game. I enjoyed the soundtrack, for all of the 20 minutes I had the application opened for. The game consists of three main modes: Puzzle mode, Time Attack and Infinity Layer. The latter two are easily manipulated by mashing the 'x' button as soon as you begin (EU version). This ends up skipping through each level, thus rewarding you with the respective trophies for reaching a particular level/levels. Puzzle mode consisted of 28 puzzles, which are not randomly generated so the solutions provided can be copied by anyone, which is what I ended up doing. Reminded me of the Beat School trophies that appear in Sound Shapes! One of the easiest platinum's I've ever achieved, literally anyone could get it. No doubt I would have struggled if I had tried to do this legit. #135: Sigi - A Fart for Melusina A very simple and silly 2D sidescroller. This is an even easier version of Devious Dungeons, if you can believe that. The game consists of a total of 20 levels, with a boss appearing at every fifth level. I played through the game blind for my first play through, and only ended up with a campaign completion of 46%! The caves are very difficult to spot, as they are only indicated by a very small 'x'. Enemy variety is minimal, and there isn't any section that was in any way challenging. It had some enjoyable background music that fit in well with the game. Completing the game to 100% in under 30 minutes sounds like a difficult task, but is actually very manageable thanks to YouTube guides as well as the ability to pause the game without the timer continuing. If your looking for a quick platinum, then this is the game for you. Don't spend too much on it though, as there's only about two hours of content at the most. Popular Post eigen-space
Platinum #70 - Nelke and the Legendary Alchemists Completed!, 26.28% Rarity Difficult - 4/10 , Time Spent - ~100 Hours , Enjoyment 7.5/10 Nelke and the Legendary Alchemists is a spin-off game from the Atelier series. Nelke is not an alchemist like all the other protagonists in Atelier games (which is why this game is not titled Atelier Nelke, as she does not run her own Atelier), but rather she is essentially a city manager tasked with building up a small town into a hub of commerce. Due to some sort of dimensional breach caused by a mysterious tree outside of town, various alchemists from prior Atelier titles are transported to Nelke's world from their own and agree to help Nelke build up her town. The central focus of this game is town building mechanics, which consists of building shops, Ateliers, farming locations, and entertainment venues. You are able to set your townsfolk to work in the shops, at the Ateliers, at the farms, and dispatch them to various locations outside of town for material farming. The key phrases here are resource and time management. You will have to juggle various to-do's in allotted time frames (yes, this game does bring back time limits for story-line tasks... don't worry, though, they're rather generous) while also making sure that your materials/syntheses/townsfolk are being managed appropriately. You also have the ability to fight monsters, view friendship scenes, learn recipes, etc, but those mechanics take a back seat in this game (though they are still relevant for trophy purposes as well as making sure you can actually beat the game). One of the more interesting things in this game is getting to meet the alchemists from all the various Atelier games. I personally have only played the series that are available on PS3 and beyond (Arland, Dusk, and Mysterious), so it was fun to see the personalities of the alchemists that I haven't had the opportunity to play previously. If you haven't played an Atelier game previously, you can certainly play this game but will be missing out on a lot of back story; this will possibly make the game a lot less fun as there isn't much new story content in this game, and part of the charm comes from being able to see all your favorite characters again (there are over 100 different characters that get brought in from prior titles). As far as the trophies in this game go... be ready for a grind. Most of the trophies are just progressions of other trophies (ex-- Hunt 10 Monsters, Hunt 100 Monsters, Hunt 500 Monsters), and some of them can take several hours during post-game to grind them out. Additionally, it is very easy to fail the main story line in this game if you're not used to managing your time and resources. However, all your trophy progress will carry over into subsequent playthroughts (ex-- if you fought 350 monsters in your first playthrough, you'll still only need 150 more to get to the 500 monsters trophy) which lessens the blow of a "game over". The game will go much faster during a second playthrough as it will also give you multipliers to various game mechanics depending on how long you lasted the first time around, and you have the benefit of knowing what's going to happen during your second playthrough so you can prepare accordingly. The only problem I have with the trophy list is that no trophy is actually tied to beating the game. There are several different endings that you can receive in this game, and a typical Atelier game will make you view each ending for a trophy (typically they have at least Normal, Good, and True endings). Though it's highly unlikely that you'll be able to grind out the last few trophies without accessing the post-game content, you technically could get the platinum with only viewing "Game Over" endings. Overall, I enjoyed this game, mainly for the character interactions. I also like resource management games, and don't mind lengthy grinds.

Popular Post NaseemJohn
273 - Devil May Cry 5 Score 9.5/10 Difficulty: 8/10 Time: 70 Hours An outstanding action game that I enjoyed from start to finish and that’s including all six playthroughs. If the others are anything like this then I’ll definitely be doing em all. When it comes to the difficulty, I personally didn’t find it too crazy but it’s definitely a good challenge and requires a lot of work in order to get S ranks on all difficulties. If you ask me though I’ll say that the hardest part isn’t HAH but rather getting S ranks on DMD. I say that because on DMD the enemies just take a fuck ton of hits and kill you very quickly, not only that but getting six thousand points on certain chapters can be annoying because the ranking is a bit odd (mission 8,10 and 12 specifically). Nothing worst than busting your ass off and pulling flashy SS and SSS combos just to get hit with an A at the end of the mission. HAH isn’t so bad because you don’t need to focus on points or combos, enemies aren’t tanks like on DMD, you can get hit at least twice and still get S rank if you manage to get enough points off combos. It’s a damn shame so many people are cheating this otherwise great platinum. Pros: Deep and enaging combat, weapon variety that allows for some wicked combos, serviceable story, all playable characters feel unique, replay value, some sick cutscenes, visually appealing. Cons: Too many loading screens, Rehashed boss fight.
Popular Post AJ_Radio
Platinum #189: Trine 3: The Artifacts of Power (April 3rd, 2019) Difficulty: 2/10 Excitement Rating: 6/10 Estimated Time to Platinum: 5 - 6 Hours Hardest Trophy: The Silencer of Whispers (Survive through the Chapter: "A Whisper of Evil") A few weeks ago I saw this was one of the games featured in a recent sale on Playstation Store. Knowing that it was the last game in the Trine series I haven't bought, and knowing that I would rather not pay over $20 for it, I went ahead and bought it on a whim. Trine 3: The Artifacts of Power brings back our three heroes (Amadeus, Zoya and Pontius) and throws them into an adventure once more. Taking place after the events of the two first games, they soon discover that there is now a new threat, a being of great power who was thought to have been vanquished over 1000 years ago. As is custom, it is up to these three heroes to work together and prevent this threat from ravaging the kingdom. Like the other games in the series, Trine 3 has it's share of humor. Amadeus careful but analytical behavior, Zoya's cunning for treasure, and Pontius lust for combat and eating. The major difference here is the game is now fully three dimensional. The series is no longer confined to side scrolling like the previous two games. I think that this in a way hinders the game, because while FrozenByte could of offered a lot of interesting challenges, there is barely anything worth noting. I spent most of my time grabbing Trineangles, which are this game's collectibles. Unlike the first two games, where the collectibles were sometimes tucked away in hidden places, I had virtually no difficulty grabbing them at all. Only on a couple occasions did I have to go back and collect the remaining Trineangles, which weren't that hard to spot in the first place. I felt that everything was simply too easy. In previous games I had to work out how to get past a certain section, but here in Trine 3 much of that challenge and creativity was simply thrown out the window. There is still plenty of platforming, and there are still puzzles that aren't completely obvious, but they are definitely toned down. The combat was much easier than anything I faced in the first two games. The only challenge at all were the mini-levels where you play as Pontius the Knight, where the only objective is to kill all the enemies in order to grab the Trineangles. But other than that, I didn't have to consort a guide. On the bright side of things, the graphics don't disappoint. While I am NOT somebody that places graphics as high priority as other gamers would, I can't help but admire the scenery and the atmosphere present in Trine 3. In ways I feel they aren't quite as good as Trine 2, but that is likely because there simply isn't as much variety. The voice acting is solid as like the first two games, but Trine 3 overall just feels a bit barebones. The biggest disappointment is Trine 3: The Artifacts of Power doesn't necessarily end it's story, it simply ends on a cliffhanger that we assume is going to resume once Trine 4 comes out. I guess this may be the last Trine in the series, which I hope makes things a bit more challenging and adds more variety. This is by no means a bad game, but it falls a bit short of the first two games. This is an easy platinum, but I only recommend it for people who love Trine.
