Popular Post SirWaWa
Final Fantasy X-2 HD Remaster I did this in one playthrough referring to 3 different guides for the main story for 100%. I made multiple saves at different "risky" checkpoints to make sure I got the completion it says I'm suppose to have. I never had to re-load due to percentage but did have to reset lots for RNG purposes. There are a few difficult bosses but there are strategy's to cheese them (no cat nip this time). For Mega Tonberry I didn't use the Dark Knight/Warrior Sentinel strategy which was was way too slow for my liking and risky if you're too slow or unlucky. I just used Mascot with stat upping accessories and just mashed X. Angra Mainyu was another difficult boss but with lots of patience it wasn't too bad. The Via Infinito bosses aren't bad at all if you come prepared. Concherer, always revive and use X-Potions if one of the girls get downed. For Chac, use 3 Thieves with speed bracer and chain your melee attacks. If done right Chac won't even get a single turn in. Trema just use Mascot with your strongest abilities and heal/revive. With patience you'll win. After 100% I moved on to Last Mission and man, I did not like this game. This game is very item management heavy. I beat it in about 10-12 hours but atleast 1-2 hours was wasted planning and running around. You need to start building up your auto-abilities and crafting 2 mandatory accessories as soon as possible via dress spheres and killing fiends. Then start leveling up your main dress sphere and character level which are both separate. I beat it with a 50 Dark Knight and with a 50 Yuna. There are potions and copy/fusion abilities that will help you level up very fast so you don't need to really grind or clear floors. Despite what others have said and depending on what is your main dress sphere I find you do have to level up your main non-dress sphere character. Some abilities eat HP from your main character while not a problem for floor advancing it's maybe a problem at the final boss if you didn't carry any restorative items. The game was generally a breeze once I reached F40's. The fiends and turn limit wasn't so much the problem now, it was the traps. It can totally ruin your game causing you too soft reset. The story was bleh and the graphics were standard X-2 with the remastering and fully voice acted. So after that was done I had one last thing to do and it was to oversoul all the fiends in X-2. I thought this going to be time consuming and grindy but after fully researching and understanding how oversoul works and how to properly go about this, it was actually enjoyable. First you have to make sure you encounter all the fiends atleast once or oversoul them during your first encounter because they can re-appear in Via Infinito. If you missed one of the miss-able fiends, you'll have to do a New Game Plus. There is only a few that are permanently miss-able. I did a tiny fraction of the Creature Creator which is totally new to HD Remaster but it is not required for 100% of the platinum. Infact I don't recommend investing alot of time into Creator Creator if you want the platinum. It's faster using Via Infinito and grinding out the required kills to oversoul by species and that is the trick to make this less painful. Once you oversoul a fiend type, all fiends of that type will now oversoul. You just have to witness the oversoul for it it count. If you kill the fiend the oversoul counter resets which now you'll be wasting more time grinding out kills again. Since every fiend can be encountered in Via Infinito except for like 2, just encounter them, watch them oversoul and run. I had to start all over again with cloister 0 and finished it around cloister 85. You could probably do this in one Via Infinito run but alot of planning is required. You can use Creature Creator to help you but not all oversouls in Creature Creator count but most do and it is very time consuming to unlock them in the battle simulator. That is why I suggest doing it through Via Infinito as it is way faster. However, I find it best to use the battle simulator to grind out the kills then going to Via Infinito. Don't waste time trying to unlock everything in the battle simulator. Just unlock what you can, grind what you can and then head over to Via Infinito and grind there the need kills you couldn't get in the battle simulator. If you're going after 100% completionist then you need start capturing monsters as soon as chapter 1 and start leveling them up and releasing them, which I didn't do because it's not required for the platinum except for 1 fiend tale. I'm very satisfied that this is one and done because the oversoul trophy was very discouraging but after lots of research and properly understanding things it was not. Popular Post Copanele
No. 75 : Guilty Gear Xrd: Revelator Platinum Name : The Absolute World Platinum Rarity : 1.51% (Ultra Rare) Hardest Trophy : Medal of the Holy Order - collect 150 badges Difficulty : 6/10 with boosting, 8/10 without ( online being dead and badges being a pain to collect) Personal Impression : 9/10 Guilty Gear Xrd Revelator ( Rev2 ) is the latest ArcSystem Works(the guys behind Dragon Ball FighterZ) entry into the Guilty Gear series. Guilty Gear being my favorite fighting game franchise and with StrIVe being announced, I decided to make this one my 75th milestone entry. As a person who played all the main entries in the series(except maybe Overture which is a...tower defense instead of fighting game?), I have to say that Rev2 is by far the most polished and complete game of the series, also having the most finessed mechanics out there. Even though I've been a fan of XX entry, Xrd has finally replaced that spot. And with good reason : In terms of graphics, Rev2 might be the best looking anime fighting game ever made (soon to be replaced by StrIVe), Soundtrack...let's say there was a comment on youtube " Oh wow they also gave me a game with this sick Rock CD" which says everything , the storyline ties up most of the main plot entries that were built up ever since the first Guilty Gear from 1998. And the gameplay...oh lord the gameplay takes a straight 10/10. Difficult to learn and even more difficult to master, you can pick up from 25 characters to lay waste to your poor opponents. You have the main protagonists Sol Badguy and Ky Kiske, a ninja president Chipp, the old sweetheart samurai with one arm and a vengeance Baiken, the assassin with a pool cue and billiard attacks Venom, the new addition Jack-O who...builds small pumpkin houses that spam minions....yeah you got a pretty crazy roster out there. There is abit of everything for everyone. This game also has a TON of mechanics : from the basic normal and special attacks, to 3 types of cancels ( called roman cancels), escape-from-combos burst attacks, dusts, dead angles, insta kills... yeah there are a LOT of mechanics. Happily, the tutorial is the best fighting game tutorial ever made. Not one of the best, THE best. After teaching you the basics, you can go to the challenge modes which would teach you everything this game has to offer, even the strengths and weaknesses of each character in the game. The only thing this game asks of you is patience and willingness to learn. There is a lot of work involved into getting the platinum. Story mode, challenge mode, a special RPG section called MOM mode(where you buy stats and items for your character), player and ranked and so on. The toughest trophy might have been Medal of the Holy Order : Game asks you to get 150 badges , which you receive by performing various tasks in-game(win 100 ranked matches, finish story mode etc). It is a grind and despite you having way more than 150 badges available in-game, actually getting even 150 is quite a challenge in itself. However, this game has been pure satisfaction from beginning to end. I should get to work and earn the original Xrd -SIGN- platinum too just to have a nice and shiny collection there but I will leave that for early 2020. Popular Post ZitMeatloaf
#39 - Adam's Venture: Origins "Hero of the day" This game is so bad, I feel compelled to explain the circumstances of how I came to play it. I've got a couple of young kids at home. They're smart (I think kids are smarter than we give them credit for), and I know they generally know the difference between fiction and reality. But even so, I'm still not comfortable playing M-rated games around them. When everybody's at home on the weekends, I may want to play those games, but I won't fire up anything like Yakuza or Doom while they're around. So sometimes, I need to find something tamer to play. One of the reasons I decided to try PS Now for a year was for the instant selection of a whole lotta games I could play, including casual and E- through T-rated games I could play when I had a little free time on the weekends. Scanning through the selection, I found this game. Some brief (and inadequate) research described this game as a short adventure game with elements of Tomb Raider and Uncharted, so I played it. The only accurate description is "short"; any comparisons to Tomb Raider or Uncharted are EXTREMELY generous. Don't believe that shit. I'm sure the devs would love it if people believed Adam's Venture was similar to those games, but it's not really. It's just a short, glitchy, primitive looking, pathetic imitation of those games. No combat, crappy controls, lame voice acting, and a terrible script describe this game much better. The only saving graces were unintended humor (by laughing AT the game; attempts at humor within the game don't land at all) and the short length. So I bit down and just finished the damn thing. TL;DR version: This game is a steaming pile of crap. If you're looking for an easy platinum that can be completed in a few hours, you should play this game. If you're looking for something with at least a tiny semblance of fun, you should avoid this game. Difficulty: 4.5/10 Enjoyment: 8/10 Playtime: 75:03:00 Screenshot: Spoiler I enjoyed this more than I thought I would, It may even be my favorite out of the 3 main games. But I don't really remember enough about the others to say for certain... actually I recently got the GotY edition of the first game, & the Handsome collection for the PS4, so I'll be playing them all again eventually. Difficulty wise, everything is just about right (even for a solo player), there's a couple slightly challenging parts in the Circles of Slaughter but nothing impossible (I was playing on Mayhem mode while I did them too). One of the most annoying trophies for me though was getting a prefect score in the shooting range (since it requires some luck & a decent enough gun, I used the "MOARR Linoge" pistol), but if you have at least one person to help you with this, it'd be a piece of cake. Ironically the time I finally cleared it, I wasn't even taking it seriously... you can even see in the screenshot where I threw my clone out in the range just for the hell of it (sadly no, he does not shoot the targets). ?

At least I got it 75% off. The squigglevision art style for the characters is kind of charming, and the backgrounds are crisp and detailed. But the story is as barebones and deprived of emotional beats as can be, and the music is not at all memorable. Game was trying my patience even with a guide. Just nothing much fun about it. Done and dusted, and destined for the dustbin of my memory................. aaaand it's gone.

But once i got used to it, it wasn't so bad, unless i made some mistakes and just attacked recklessly, enemies are quite hard to stun in this one, so mashing attack won't help a lot. Bosses are pretty awesome, which some of them were easier than normal enemy encounters. My favorite spot and place was while riding on the mechanical snakes.

Well I didn't even know it was from then until I played my just arrived physical copy. Well hear me out, this game has a good trophy list for what it is :O. . I thought it was more on the VN side, but happily that wasn't the case. Actually the VN part (read chapter 4) was the worst. Uninteresting and just click away.. The chapters "with the actual panty hunting" on the other hand was quite a good point and click to scenario's game. A few of these endings were fun to get. The game is stupid in a good way. Technically though, this game had a lot of bugs, stutters etc and that for such a small game is dissapointing.

Popular Post madbuk
#349 - Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance For years there have been several games that I have seen as key blocking points for a 100% profile (despite having no unobtainables on my list.) This was one of them, and while it's not actually 100% yet, the fact that I at least got the plat gives me hope the 100% isnt too far out of reach. Honestly this wasn't as bad as I was expecting, the S ranks and VR missions had been causing me to put it off for years, but finishing Gran Turismo 5 a few months ago (which at the time felt like the biggest 100% profile blocker) bumped this up my priority list, so here we are. It actually only took about a week once I decided to fully focus on it. This game is overrated imo. I got some enjoyment out of the 1v1 fights, but when the game throws multiple enemies at you at once it becomes a bit of a struggle trying to keep the camera in a position where you can see everyone to be ready to avoid or block any incoming attacks. A lot of these multi-enemy fights also take place in small rooms, where the camera likes to get stuck on walls so you can't move it properly. This was especially bad during some VR trials. The story was completely forgettable to me, I finished my normal playthrough years ago and all I remember is a sombrero and "nanomachines, son" tbh. I didn't care enough to watch the cutscenes again on my further playthroughs. Music was good, especially the boss themes. With this (almost) done, another 100% profile hurdle has (almost) been conquered. I'd say my next big blocks in terms of difficulty are probably Stealth Inc 1 and Binding of Isaac, who knows when I'll get to those. I almost considered delaying this plat to make it my #350 milestone but that felt a bit dishonest since I had basically already earned it as #349 by the time I was considering doing so. DLC should give me a level up so I suppose that's a consolation prize.

Popular Post Property_Damage
#272 I bought this game for a few bucks during a sale before it inevitably became a free game on the IGC, just my luck! FML, At first it seemed like a decent arcade style racer but then it just became a daunting chore, a racing game with collectibles, and you have to finish 1st place with all collectibles in the same run, on over 100 different tracks! Wtf not to mention the tournaments are the hardest part of the trophy list (PRO tip, use the gentleman car) the endurance races are easy, just long and boring AF, use the nano and youre golden, i finished the 109 endurance race with over a 130 point lead from the 2nd place finisher my 36 race endurance game crashed on me during my 32nd race and i just shut my system off and called it a night my 109 race endurance game also crashed on me during my 82nd race, my jaw dropped, i quickly booted the game back up, and i was immediately taken back to my 82nd race with all my points still in tact, kudos to the developers for atleast putting you back to where your game crashed, it was a decent game but i think im done with racing games for a good long while after this one
Popular Post DamagingRob
#421- Shenmue Full Cabinet Earn all the Trophies. Well done! This was kind of a strange one. And playing it now, as opposed to when it came out probably didn't help.. But I enjoyed it, and might jump right into the sequel. I just don't know if I enjoyed it for the "right" reasons, or if it's in the "so bad, it's good" category. So, the story is pretty simple. Ryo's father gets murdered in front of him by some evil dude, and Ryo sets his sights on revenge. But first he has to find out where the guy is, and then how to get to that place. This pretty much takes the entire first game, since the plot moves at the pace of a snail... But it's just how it is. The presentation is fairly impressive. You can literally talk to everyone, and they will have voiced dialogue. It's questionable quality, but it really makes the city feel alive. In 1999, I'm sure this would have been even more amazing. The Dreamcast was truly ahead of its time. I can see some of the comparisons to Yakuza. You have a big city to run around in, some side activities you can do, zany characters (Goro is a stitch, and the main baddie is Smeagol's brother), and of course the fighting. There's not a whole lot of that, though. And Shenmue feels more like an adventure game, than a Yakuza predecessor most of the time. Mostly you just run around town, and talk to the townspeople. Gathering clues about where to go next to advance the story. The game runs on a timer, and sometimes you may need to wait till nighttime for an event. At times, you may just idle to pass the time. Unless you want to hit up the arcade or practice moves to make them stronger. The minigames there aren't that special to me, though. You also have a curfew, and can't stay out past 11:30 P.M. Staying out till then will get you a good scolding from Ine-san, who wishes you'd come home before 11. The days will also pass, and you can get a Game Over for taking too long to complete the story. But you have plenty of time. I didn't even make it out of December, and the cutoff is in April. It was actually the perfect time to play this game. You can hear Christmas music playing from some establishments, snow is on the ground, and you can even find Santa strolling around town. Later in the game, you get a job... As a forklift driver. This is the absolute worst thing in the game. It goes on far too long, and there's really no benefit to even doing it. More money, but I don't know what you'd spend it on. Might be better off idling during it. You do race with them at the start of each day, though. And there's a trophy for winning, so be sure to do that once. Why your boss thinks racing in work equipment and wasting time that could be spent doing your job is a good idea, I'll never know. Towards the end is also where the fights pick up. Usually not very difficult, and don't take long. They do spring a 70 man battle on you, though. Lol. But a lot of those guys go down in one hit with a maxed out move, and you can always just try to stay away while your health regenerates if needed. What else? Quicktime events are a thing. Will probably need an online map to find places sometimes. And possibly a guide to see everything, since there are a lot of extra scenes that can only be seen at the right time. Then there's the kitten you need to take care of to spawn a missable event with a trophy. So yeah, I had a pretty good time with this. I don't know when I'll get and play 3, but it'll be on my wishlist. No real rush since it's not the end, and I'd just be in cliffhanger hell with the rest of Shenmue fans. Platinum image: Spoiler Credits screen. :/

AK-1138
Platinum #446: Jigsaw Zen Difficulty: 2/10 Playtime: 1-2 hours Enjoyment: 6/10 What is there to say? It's a no-frills puzzle game whose quick and easy platinum trophy is its only real selling point. If you're not a 'hunter, and you own any other digital puzzle game there isn't much point... helpful c̶h̶e̶a̶t̶s̶ features notwithstanding. The art aesthetics are all over the place, with no cohesion of style or themes. Ultimately, it's just a slightly more taxing Slyde. AccessEngage21
#118 Riddled Corpses EX Hardcore Gamer Difficulty: 3.5/10 (so, so) Fun Factor: 8/10 (love hell bullet games XD) Rarity: 47,95% Time in Total: 22 hours, 57 minutes Oh boy, christmas is pretty much tomorrow and i got probably this year`s last platinum and i got to say, really fun game in general. So in simple words, R.C.EX is a shoot em up/rpg/bullet hell game, so is right on my alley (love metal slug in general), of course the farming in the beginning can scare some people, but no me, nooooooooooooooooooo, i born for farming, hell if i got the chance i will bought farming simulation just for hyperbole. After passing by the farming in general, the game is far more enjoyable, select a character in story mode and try to beat it, then pass to the arcade mode if are good enough (pretty easy by the way, hell, i did it on my first try!!!.......in serious mode ¬¬) or test your might! and luck and survivor mode, i got to admit, i was really entertained so much......i play that day until 4:00 am (of course almost got late to job today.........totally worth it) For real thought, one of the last game i bought this year that make my day, my week and maybe my month, simple in style and gameplay, but super addictive and i like the soundtrack (the metal one thought....awesome) in general, now my biggest complain should be more stages (maybe 2 more will be enough) and more weapon to use, other then that, the game is great and im greatful to be the last plat this year.........oh, and 2 players coop (im playing the vita version by the way). PD: If you are interested in play it, this games was tested and worked perfectly on my PS TV, since this game is not marked as compatible, now i make it clear.
