Popular Post Cal
Marvel's Spider-Man So I know pretty much nothing about Spider-Man more of a DC guy personally but I had a fun time with this game! Swinging was so much fun and fast that I pretty much never used the fast travel system, and I really enjoyed the story and characters the game isn't perfect though I found some side stuff a bit repetitive and the sneaking missions with MJ and Miles were a bit eh. I also found the game too easy to the point I changed the difficulty to spectacular but it didn't give me much of a challenge hoping ultimate difficulty on new game+ might give me one. But yeah fun game and the best Spider-Man game we have gotten in a while.
Popular Post BlackSnake1435
Platinum #34 Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice Enjoy 9/10 Difficulty: 1/10 There's too much i'd like to say about this game, is amazing, I like how the player is able to listen to everything on senua's mind and understand what she's going throgh with all her mental disorders. There are few kombats, and they aren't actually that challenging, but the gameplay is still good and besides that, the way to collect "keys" is very creative. Normally, I only play AAA games, but this was such a kind of exception the my rule considering how interesting its content was. The platinum is insane easy, everything you have to do is finding all collectibles because the rest of the trophies will pop as a part of the story itself. And also, just a few days after getting the platinum that took me most time "MKX" I got the one that has taken less time for me to achive "this one". Also, its a pitty that we PS users won't get to play the next one. Edited January 15, 2020 by BlackSnake1435

Popular Post Boomshanks
( 52) Kingdom Hearts. Re:Chain of Memories (PS4) Chain of Memories Master Enjoyment: 7/10 Difficulty: 4/10 Just like @Dr_Mayus it seems. I don’t think this is anyone’s favorite KH game in the series, which is probably mostly due to the combat system and the repetitive nature of the game. The combat system is fine for a GBA title and I remember liking it a lot when I played it back then. But translating it to the big screen it just doesn’t feel right. Once you figure out how it works, it’s easily exploited and you can basically mash triangle without having to do anyone else. Especially near the end of the game, I would just spam Mega Flare and Magnet Spiral to wipe every room without really paying that much attention to what I was doing. In my humble opinion, the story itself is great. As you progress through the levels the intrigue slowly builds and it really kept me guessing until the big reveals near the end. Though to be fair, I played it for the first time when I was about 14. I absolutely love the introduction of Organisation XIII and for a long time they were my favorite villains of any series. Their looks and especially their powers are so unique and their boss battles were intense and difficult. Zexion is easily my favorite boss battle of this game. Though the overarching story is great, the stories within the worlds are just… meh. They have 3 short “cutscenes” to set up and resolve everything in the world and it always feels completely rushed. Combine that with awkwardly jamming the memory theme in every world and it’s just very boring ?. And the worlds themselves are very boring as well and don’t really feel like worlds, since they just consist of the different room cards you’ve been using the whole time with a new filter. And then comes the grind. My god, the grind. Thank God I went straight for the PS4 collection since you have to complete the story 6 times on the PS3 version. I completed Riku’s story on Proud mode right away but I had started with Sora on Normal, so I had to do that entire story again. Strangely enough I thought Sora’s story was a lot more manageable since you get to create your own deck and can just spam your way through every encounter. Basically the only trophies you’ll be working for are collecting all the cards and levelling both characters up to level 99. Levelling Sora wasn’t too bad and there is an absolute God on YouTube that shows you how to get every enemy card easily. Big thanks to whoever pointed that out in the forum. That saved me at least 30 hours of grinding. But then came the absolute hell that is grinding Riku to level 99. I completed the story, defeating every heartless in every room and I was close to level 50 and after the story there is nothing to collect or to do with him, so it’s just mindlessly grinding through encounters. It was horrible. I would just play it in short bursts of about one hour some days because I couldn’t take any longer ⚰️. Strangely, even though this post has mostly been talking about the negatives, I do like the game. I really liked completing both stories and even Sora’s grind wasn’t too bad. Though I am glad it’s over and the next in the series is my absolute favorite, KH2. Edited January 15, 2020 by Boomshanks

Popular Post DamagingRob
#426- Yakuza 0 Where It All Began Obtain all other trophies. Where do I even begin...? I guess this guy is as good a place as any: Spoiler I don't know where they came up with that, but it is truly absurd. He'll pop up in different places, too. Here he is in a cutscene: Spoiler On my Legend playthrough, he wasn't there. So, it would appear it all comes down to chance. Moving on... The story is brilliant. I really don't want to spoil it, but damn does it bring out all the feels. A couple of things I do want to mention, and will put in a spoiler. One is the ending, so open at your own risk: Spoiler I kinda wish this was an alternate timeline.. It's the saddest thing to see Majima give up Makoto to become what he becomes. :'( And she's blind, not deaf. Lol. Funny as hell when Majima and the big guy fight in the room where she's sleeping. Yakuza games never fail to have a shortage of content. While the meat of it is beating up enemies, there is so much more you can do. Fishing, bowling, batting cage, darts, pool, mahjong, various gambling games, sing karaoke, and more. This one might have some of the most... uhh, uncomfortable content I've seen, though. Stuff you might not want to play in public. I've only played 3 of these, but 4 and Dead Souls didn't have as much of what you'll find in this one. There's the telephone dating game, where you try to pick the right dialogue options, and meet up with the person on the other end of the line. Meanwhile, while the talking is going on, you have the girl in her underwear dancing all over your screen. :/ Then you have a place where you can watch what are pretty much softcore porn videos of actual porn actresses.. And let's not forget the catfight minigame, though I wish we could. The catfight game requires you to bet on a girl, and then try to win a tournament with her. It's full of RNG, and made me want to jump off a bridge. ._. You select Rock, Paper, Scissors to do attacks, and you can tell which one your opponent prefers. But that doesn't mean you'll win very often. Damage done is random. What they choose is somewhat random. If they choose the same thing as you, winning the button mashing battle that comes with it appeared to be random. I couldn't even win with a turbo controller doing the mashing. And say you actually win, you still might lose. Each girl has a a different special ability that can trigger, and a couple can just instawin if it activates after the battle has been won. That's not the only thing in the game that drove me up a wall, either. Had a hard time getting the batting timing down, beating some of the disco opponents, and winning some of the gambling minigames. Basically just kept trying till I succeeded, but with quite a bit of frustration. The disco one in particular was so reliant on RNG with some of your opponents. They'd do so good, I had no chance. Until they wouldn't, and I'd actually win. And Fantasy Zone. Agh! That game is pure evil. You might think I'd hate the game after all that, but it's more that I'm saying it's no cakewalk. Even with the annoying minigames and Climax Battles, I still love the game. There were fun minigames, like bowling, pool, throwing darts, karaoke, and the cabaret club one. I really liked the last one. Relaxing simulation type of game. Even mahjong wasn't too bad, after watching a video and (kinda) learning how to play it. Some Climax Battles were painful. Lol. The one that gave me the most trouble wasn't even that hard, though. It was Proving Grounds #9, where you have to defeat a number of enemies without taking damage. I feel like every enemy hit me, probably multiple times. :/ But there aren't that many, and it's pretty short. It just seemed to have my number.. Legend difficulty was much easier by comparison. Failed the car chase 2 or 3 times, but other than it, I was well prepared. Farmed enough money from Mr. Shakedown to upgrade as much as I could with both characters, and stayed stocked up with Stamina Royales/Shotguns/Sacrificial Dolls. Made it a cinch. Only took about a tenth the time of my first playthrough. 11 hours, while the first was 100. Don't have much else to say, other than these games are very much worth playing. Get on them if you haven't already. No Platinum image this time, since it blocks them in certain places.
Popular Post madbuk
#352 - LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham This is my second time doing this plat, because I remember enjoying it a lot on PS4. I still think it's one of the better available LEGO games overall, but it had a lot more combat than I remember it having, and combat is one of the weakest aspects of the LEGO franchise imo. The story was pretty generic, as usual, and it sets up a LEGO Batman 4 that never happened. The hubs were diverse in terms of scenery even if they were all the same shape and size, and the main levels themselves were fun. I don't think having a boss fight at the end of every single stage was necessary, but the bosses differ enough to avoid it feeling too tedious. Overall I'd say I enjoyed it a little less than the last time I played it, but I still had a lot of fun with this.
Popular Post SirDave1988
# 110 Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order (PS4) A New HopeEarn all trophies First plat of the new year and decade. Jedi Fallen Order was really a game of two halves for me. The story portion of it was brilliant, well written and voice acted, an intriguing story that fits in well with the new canon and the gameplay and graphics were what you would expect from a modern day AAA game in 2019/2020, really good quality. Oh, and that ending sequence.... ? However, the post-game grind for collectables can get in the bin. The maps the game uses are super confusing, so much so that in some instances when I just wanted to get from point A to B on a map, it took upwards of 15-20 mins, even when using a video guide, which is ridiculous really. Also, the more you play the game, the more the technical gremlins become noticeable, such as textures being very slow to load, tons of glitches and slow loading in general. It feels a bit like the vision of the game is pushing beyond the technical capabilities of the PS4. Overall, I did enjoy it though, particularly as a Star Wars fan and I'm looking forward to the sequel if/when they make it.

Popular Post Cave Johnson
Risk of Rain 2 Clear Skies You have weathered the storm. I mainly bought Risk of Rain 2 on PS4 to earn the trophies, much like I did with the first one. Stupid, I know, but that's what happens when I'd rather play it on PC, yet want to get the trophies as well. I initially bought Risk of Rain 2 on day one of early access (on Steam). I played it a lot at first, but got distracted and never followed the updates. Months later it was on sale (for PS4) and I ended up buying it. At first the game seemed harder, though most of the trophies were rather easy to obtain regardless. The biggest challenge is both "The Long Road" and "Deicide". I nearly gave up on these trophies at one point. Thanks to some advice I received from the forums here (and a bit of persistence) I was able to get the platinum. Doom Completionist Unlock all trophies in DOOM "In this world nothing can be said to be certain, except death, taxes, and bad Doom ports." - Benjamin Franklin Did I buy this just because it's Doom with a platinum? Yes. After the disappointment that was Doom Classic Complete, I was glad to see that Doom was finally getting not just one, but two platinums (Doom II). Unsurprisingly, most of the trophies are easy, dumb, or a combination of both. The only challenge here is completing the game on Nightmare (co-op only). I'm glad they included local co-op, but that's it; there's no online play at all. Seriously, what year is it? Aside from one or two levels, my brother and I breezed through the game on Nightmare. It was much easier than I was expecting; Doom II, however... Doom II Completionist Unlock all trophies in DOOM II Nightmare in this game is no joke, even in co-op. The new enemies (burn in hell, chaingunners) make a huge difference. Not only that, but in the first Doom only three episodes (24 levels) need to be cleared. This time all 30 levels must be completed. The worst levels were 20 (Gotcha), 25 (Bloodfalls), and 29 (The Living End). The Living End is the ultimate test of patience and persistence; luck is involved too of course. It must've taken one, maybe closer to two hours for that level alone. I should probably mention some things about the port: Better than Classic Complete, but still shit. When these ports were first released, they required logging in to a Bethesda account... to play an offline game. This was later removed and was only there ""accidentally"". They've only just now fixed the aspect ratio and framerate (60 FPS) in a recent update. These are basic features that should never be an update several months later, but rather included at launch. There's no reason to get this other than the trophies (or for those who don't like playing games on PC). The PC version is so much better it's laughable. It can be bought for cheap on Steam or elsewhere, then there's access to all the source ports and community made content anyone could ever need. That, and the controls can actually be remapped. Online play is also available with the right source port.

Popular Post SnakeonaBoat
#21 Oxenfree Leave Possible? This game is juuust the right amount of 2Spooky4Me that I'm willing to handle. A very tense atmosphere that kept me on edge despite being super light on jumpscares, especially outside of New Game Plus. That, the great sense of humor, and the teenage drama of the sideplots make it super accessible for people like me who don't really delve into games like this. Fan of the art style and music as well. When it comes to writing, Oxenfree's dialogue might be one of my favorites in all of gaming. Going through the multiple playthroughs for the plat was so much easier because of how interested I became in seeing all the things the characters could say. Even if the side characters could be slightly better fleshed out, they were all pretty likeable or interesting enough to enjoy. IMO, it definitely hit the mark for how teens speak without hitting the cringiness of something like Life is Strange (a game that I loved but did have some awkwardly constructed dialogue). Its more free-flowing dialogue and interaction system definitely helps too. Being able to interrupt and then easily return to what characters were saying while letting you keep control of main character Alex the whole time makes conversation feel very natural. This part of a video from Game Maker's Toolkit does a good job of explaining what worked and what can be improved about it. Solid plot for a 4-5 hour game. Some especially fun moments of messing around with gameplay elements. I'm a sucker for that kind of thing, especially when in service of storytelling. New Game Plus adds a couple of neat wrinkles too. All this makes the 3-4 playthroughs for the plat super easy to get through, although not enough changes for it to likely stay all that interesting afterwards for extra runs that unless you're obsessed enough to find the small differences in paths. Popular Post AK-1138
Platinum #466: Difficulty: 4/10 Playtime: 3-4 hours Enjoyment: ?/10 Was this Top Rated's evil masterplan all along, I wonder? String us along with some of the easiest trophy lists ever made, lull us into a false sense of security, and then unleash a surprisingly tricky and stressful game on our irredeemably tainted souls as just and righteous recompense for our naive foolishness? I'd be impressed, if I didn't feel more like putting the devs into a Saw-like trap based on these very same game mechanics every single miserable time I got shafted. So if you didn't know, Stretch is a game in which an evil arcade machine (the lore is unexpectedly deep, brah) forces you to defend Earth from an unending barrage of meteors by pressing buttons indicated on the screen to blow them up. It starts off at a nice and breezy pace and then starts trying to brick wall your ass starting from level 10 and it only gets worse from there. With very little in the way of saving your skin apart from fast reflexes and the kind of unrelenting concentration humans have largely been robbed of thanks to food additives and daytime TV, for most people (myself included) it's going to be a bit of a test... as indeed it was. After that one time I got like seven meteors away from completing it and got swarmed, I had no choice but to step away and reassess my situation, which is a fancy way of saying I got the closest I ever have to throwing my controller since I was, what, seven? It's a fascinating game concept in that as we all handle stressful and demanding situations differently, there is no one method or strategy that can be relied upon. Indeed, I tried some seven or eight different ones, but ultimately I had to make my own way, taking into account my strengths and weaknesses as a gamer. If were to tell you how I did it, I can almost guarantee it wouldn't work for you. Ultimately, I cannot parse whether I enjoyed the experience or not and thus I'm not comfortable with assigning it a grade. Suffice to say, I'm glad to be done with it, and will probably never play it, or another game in its ilk, ever again. I am thankful that the trophy list was as comparatively malleable as it is, because I really don't like having tricky games on my list on which I can't reliable platinum whenever I should so desire.

Popular Post Copanele
I'll do a double combo here: No.77 : Guilty Gear Xrd -SIGN- Platinum Name : Xrd Times The Charm Hardest Trophy : A Man of Wealth and Taste Completion Percentage : 1.13%(Ultra Rare) Difficulty : 7/10 Personal impression : 8/10 The initial release of Guilty Gear Xrd. A very good and solid fighting game with a diverse cast. The platinum requires lots of grinding and the online is pretty much dead, boosting is required. If you have the EU version on PS3, your game is region locked due to a patch that unables other releases to connect to you. I do recommend Revelator (with the Rev2 update) for a more complete experience. No. 78 : Far Cry 3(PS3) Platinum Name : Mastered the Jungle Hardest Trophy : Getting Even - Complete "Payback" co-op map Completion Percentage : 18.01%(Rare) Difficulty : 3/10 Personal Impression : 8.8/10 Far Cry 3 might be the best Far Cry Ubisoft ever released. The beautiful tropical island and its jungle is your playground, you have a large variety of customizable weapons and approaches in order to conquer every baddie outpost. You have a multitude of approaches, varying from "guns blazing" Rambo style with machine guns and flamethrowers, or "a proper assassin", fully stealthing your way through the enemy base. The story is quite solid (the first half at least), Vaas Montenegro being a personal favorite and one of the most enjoyable lunatics in videogames. For those with a knack for multiplayer you have either a solid co-op consisting of 6 missions with a specific story, or you can dive straight in regular online modes. Just make sure you are ready for the usual Ubisoft collectible extravaganza, although not as bad as the other titles of their series (not even close to AC Unity).
