Popular Post flashpool23
131 - The Raven Remastered Well this was something! I enjoyed the story with all its twists and turns (some predictable, some not). I do feel like the title Raven mask was missed out on being used but I can't be mad since a lot of it was in the shadows. The heist of a lifetime makes a nice platinum image for me though.
Popular Post Dauersack
Prototype #43: Platinum Trophy My highest rated platinum so far in terms of difficulty, this one was genuinely fun and challenging to go for. Prototype is a hilariously over the top game in terms of brutality and sheer scale of your characters abilities, no other game(at least no game I know of) will give you a better feeling of being a godlike entity that can cause havoc of epic proportions. Killing enemies in the various ways available is very satisfying, almost every ability or power has some use and the world is big enough to not feel too limited. Characters and missions were alright, nothing to really write home about but they clearly served to further your characters progression and give you an excuse to cause bloodbaths in this immensely gory game. The game is pretty tough at times in terms of difficulty, almost drowning you in strong enemies or demanding you to complete tasks with little room for error, yet it rarely feels unfair. The event challenges were a lot of fun and gave me surprisingly little reason to get frustrated, I wanted to get better at them in order to get the tight timers for the platinum medals, and of the several dozens of challenges only 3 felt unfair, but they were also managable so I was done with them a hell of a lot quicker than I originally anticipated given how much rage they seemed to cause for some. Hard difficulty has the enemies being a bit too tanky for my liking, but I have seen worse in the past. I had a great time with this game and pretty much everything was fun for me, from fighting to pursuing to simply traveling around via gliding and air dashes. The story, while being not all that special, had a unique way of collecting the information together via the web of intrigue, hunting these guys for another piece of the puzzle felt really rewarding as well. The only negative things I can mention are some of the trophy requirements, like the 250 collectibles being shitty lights that are scattered around the map without much thought and many being so close together that trying to find them with a map is pretty tricky, and last but not least the aiming feature that was the source for a few facepalms when it would make a few tasks much harder than they needed to be. Definitely would recommend this game for people who want a good challenge and enjoy causing a lot of damage in a game. Next game will be Prototype 2, a game with a much lower difficulty rating and from what I heard a noticeable drop in quality and enjoyment, but I will complete it in any case. Popular Post voodoo_eyes
#425 - Stranger Things 3 Nowhere near worth the initial launch price of 30 bucks, but for under a fiver it was an OK game. It does however get kind of boring after a couple of hours in. Most missions follow the same routine of navigating through a maze of closed doors to eventually get to the one that leads to the exit. Enemy variety is essentially non-existent and the game suffers from minor stuttering quite often. Enjoyment: 6 Difficulty: 3.5
Guest
Sea of Solitude Platinum Difficulty: 1/10 Enjoyment 4/10 Honestly kinda boring with rough voice acting. Thought I'd like it since I usually like these types of games, somewhat along the lines of Flower/Journey/Rime; glorified walking simulator but with artistic ambitions and one button that does something that isn't walking/jumping. Found it weirdly glitchy.

Popular Post Juzota
#125 - American Fugitive Justice Ain't Always Legal Collect All Trophies This game tried to be a old school GTA-game, but didn't really succeed in that. This was just really boring experience with some absolutely mind-numbing grind. Only hard part about the platinum were the time trials. I was so frustrated with the driving mechanics. Maybe I'm just bad, but damn it was infuriating. Other than that it was really easy plat. There's also free dlc with 3 trophies, but those are quite easy as well. Really grindy, tho. I was 35th player to obtain 100% completion, so there's that if you want some rare stuff on you're profile. Don't really recommend this to anyone, but yeah... Trophy hunting, yay! Popular Post BadRep24
Platinum #14: Coffee Talk Coffee and Chill Get All trophy. First time touching this game, I'd be like "oh shiet, it plays like Va-11 Hall-A", and it did, albeit with a few differences. Instead of working at a bar in a futuristic city under such plight such as violence and inflation, Coffee Talk takes place in Seattle in today's year, which is September 2020, where fantastical races like Elves, Vampires, Mermaids, Ogres, etc. co-exist with humans (yes, you got me right). You, as the barista of the namesake Coffee Talk coffee shop, serve customers with different kind of beverages, ranging from coffee, tea, green tea, lattés, etc. and listening to customers' stories. The major difference: the ingredient order matters!

Popular Post Viper
#183 Shadow of the Tomb Raider Chalice of Torment Was very very disappointed with this game. I really don't know what happened. I feel like a lot of people complained about the first two games being too action heavy...so this game tried to tone that down dramatically while focusing on puzzles, platforming and exploring. But the end result was just a boring experience....that's the main takeaway...this game was just boring. And to sit back and think that this was supposed to be the trilogy that lead to Lara being the character we know in the old games...it lacked in that area too. You never get this definitive moment where you see it...you see that thing that makes you say "there she is!". The graphics were gorgeous...this was the first game I started on my new Pro, so getting to play it in 60FPS was great. And I'm usually one of those odd balls that likes collectibles...not here. I hate when I can't just clear an area of everything and move on...it's built in such a way where you need to come back later because you don't have the right gear...and it always felt like fast travel points where farther away than they needed to be, so I'd have to go through entire tombs just to get a single item. A lot of the skills seemed arbitrary too...there's very few enemy encounters in this game, so most don't seems to get used....the whole skill tree was built like this was a combat heavy game, and it's the complete opposite. Deadly Obsession (Very Hard) was just a ball ache of a difficulty. I did it on NG+ so it wasn't "Hard" per se...it's more based on checkpoints being far more spread out, so if you die, you can lose upwards of an hour of progress. And with that...this game seems to be the least polished of three...so there were times Lara just decided she'd rather fall to her death than to latch on to something...so you end up failing and having to start over because the game literally screws you. It's not difficult...it's just discerning. You almost just want to turn the game off and say "fuck it" at that point. I loved the first two games...but this was a let down. Popular Post Masamune
The Azure You Obtained You've completed Azur Lane: Crosswave! Difficulty: 2/10 (on easy) Enjoyment: 7.5/10 Playtime: 30:22:51 (3 days, 1 hour, 11 minutes) Screenshot: I saved one of my favorite characters for last so she'd be on the plat shot (thankfully that's where the trophy popped). Spoiler Considering this was based off a mobile game, I wasn't expecting much, but it wasn't half bad. I do think it would've been a bit better if the battles were a little longer/more complex, if they ever do a sequel, I'd like to see some characters capable of melee attacks (since half of them carry some kinda sword or weapon), & some kinda ultimate attack would be nice too (instead of just buff & lock-on skills). It's a very easy plat (especially if you're playing on easy, I got an S rank in every single battle barely even trying), there's no difficulty-based or missable trophies. There is some grinding required at the end though, you have to max the affection of all the characters (all 63 of them, I don't think Neptune is required if you have her) & Marry them to complete the gallery, to do this you need to get everyone to Lv100 & break their level cap, use each one 10 times in a battle, & win 10 battles with each selected as your Secretary (can be stacked with the earlier requirement)... that's at least 630 battles (assuming you have all the required materials), it may sound like a lot, but most battles in this game can be easily beaten in like a minute (seconds if you're farming a low level mission), so it's not too bad... in the end, my total battle count was 714, that includes the story battles where I wasn't really paying attention to affection. Popular Post NZBigC
The Sims 4 Ultimate Sim GuruEarn all trophies. Difficulty: 0.5/10 Enjoyment: 5/10 Time to Plat: A looonnnng time, but now can easily be done within 2 - 4 hours Thanks to a handful of people, it is now ridiculously easy to get the plat for this game. If you read up on a couple of threads created by @Malachen and @Naomie_Len over in The Sims 4 Forums here, you will be able to achieve this platinum simply by downloading a few sims from the Gallery in game (created by them), and 95% of the trophies will pop just by doing that. I suggest you get in quick if you were thinking of getting this game done, because I have a feeling EA will patch this so that you cannot get trophies by downloading families/sims from the Gallery.

Oh I know that, but I have to enjoy the game first or else I don't bother completing: my rule of thumb is to enjoy the game first and completing last and when I played the first time I wasn't really all excited about it, but it's been 2 years or something so I probably plan to try the game again at one point and have my mind changed. I might buy a trophy if I happen to be exhausted and just want to be done with it (the joke endings one is kinda painful).

Popular Post AK-1138
Platinum #490: Asterix and Obelix XXL2 Difficulty: 4/10 Playtime: 10-15 hours Enjoyment: 7/10 Though a fan of these badass Gaulish resistance fighters and their satirical new old world antics since I was knee high to a centurion, these PS2 era games completely passed me by way back when. And I would have given it a chance even sooner if not for the exorbitant price point. Thankfully, the Crismus sale was generous to me in more ways than one. And... it's a pretty cracking time, at least most of the time. As a game, it's kind of a last gasp for the action-adventure collectathon genre, at least in this kind of incarnation. I'm a little divided in my opinion of this style of game, actually, but it's a fairly brisk variation that is just long enough to never really ever wear out its welcome as its ilk is wont to do. The collectibles are manageable and often provide fun gameplay shifts. The battle system is nice and meaty (if a little lacking in variety) and the sense of progression is excitingly palpable. Come game's end, you'll be destroying legions in seconds, magic potion or no. The random combo bonuses, which can result in helpful rewards, add a thrilling element of unpredictability to the proceedings, and can help keep you on your toes when fighting inevitably becomes a little tedious... because there is a lot of it. On the whole, the game never really quite gets there in terms of matching the indomitable wit and personality of its source material, and while the oodles of video game references and parodies range from banal to cute to clever, it can get a little one note. The music is the worst kind of annoying drivel that typifies a lot of mid-2000s games. It never fits the mood, and it all sounds like parodies of the lobby fight music from The Matrix. Very rarely is it anything less than annoying, not to mention a missed opportunity at creating atmosphere. Some of the ugliest excesses of Rare-style collectathons rear their ugly heads in terms of clumsy boss fights and overly tricky sections based on poorly implemented controls. The graphics look great and really captures the colour palette and mood of the comics, and the remaster only heightens the proceedings. The distance blur, for instance, is exceptional. Ultimately, it's a mixed bag, but one that provides tantalizing glints of potential from time to time. On the whole it was an enjoyable experience, and a breath of fresh air for me personally. It also makes for a mostly easy if sometimes testing trophy hunt. A fun time was had by all... mostly.

Popular Post Akeachi
Platinum #2 - Celeste Enjoyment : 9/10 Difficulty : 2/10 (with assist mode) I haven't teared up over a game in a really long time. This game is just beautiful The artstyle/visuals, level design (maybe the best I've seen in any game) , the soundtrack and the touching story This game was a surprise for me, I was certain that I will like it but didn't think it will have such a dark, touching and sad story like this It's a shame that assist mode was included in the game, it would've been such a challenging and rewarding platinum but sadly that didn't happen:( If you're going to use assist mode (which I did) at least do yourself a favour and finish the main game first and then use the assist mode to clean up And I'd recommend finishing some extra levels without assist mode if you can because they're really enjoyable Overall this is an experience I'll never forget anytime soon. ifonly assist mode never existed?
Popular Post eigen-space
Platinum #93 - Detroit: Become Human Detroit Master, 17.59% Rarity Difficulty - 1.5/10 , Time Spent - ~40 Hours , Enjoyment 7/10 Detroit: Become Human is set in a near future where androids have become thoroughly integrated into society as objects used to perform tasks that humans no longer want to do. However, the androids start to "wake up" and think for themselves. Detroit will have you playing as 3 different androids as they navigate a world that isn't quite ready for the androids to be "alive". This is definitely one of those games that would be much more fun to play if trophies weren't involved as it is somewhat of a "choose your own adventure"-type game with the player being given the opportunity to pick among various choices that can have far-reaching consequences throughout the entire game (even choices picked in the first 3-4 chapters will determine scenes you see in the final two chapters). It would be much more fun to play the game without having to worry about picking "incorrectly" for the sake of trophies. However, the game does have trophies for direct opposite choices, so you would have to play the game "both ways" in order to get all trophies... you'll eventually get to play the way you would naturally want in order to get these opposing trophies. It is kind of annoying that you basically have to play the game through twice, plus some chapter-select clean-up, in order to obtain the platinum... could have done without that. There isn't much by way of gameplay mechanics for this game. There are QTEs (most are fairly easy, though some can be complicated toward endgame, especially if you don't dial down the difficulty in the main menu), and then there's actions that you need to press trigger buttons or toggle your joystick for (for example, you literally have to pretend you're turning a doorknob with your joystick motions at various points in the game). Beyond these things and the choices you make, there isn't much more to this game. The story is fantastic. The characters are definitely well-fleshed out, and the drama within the game is tangible. There's very little that one can be disappointed with when considering how well-done the narrative is (though there are a couple things that are a little far-fetched). By the end of the game, you'll probably have strong opinions about your favorite and least favorite characters (I'm team Hank all the way.... and North is the absolute worst). Definitely recommend this game for anyone that enjoys narrative-driven games.
