Popular Post RedRodriguez87
#330: Christmas Break master Much like the Halloween predecessor, I bought this as a replacement so I could have a Christmas themed platinum this year. Also like that one, there's not much to say. It's Breakout, but Christmas themed. I'm not gonna knock it for being easy, as it gave me what I wanted, though I do wish the trophies especially the plat did more to differentiate from each other in this game and others. Have a Merry Christmas eve!!

Popular Post DamagingRob
#497- The Walking Dead: The Telltale Definitive Series The Long Walk Collect all Trophies Well, unless you've been living under a rock, you probably know what a Telltale game is. The first season came out when I was just getting into the show/comic, largely thanks to the comic website I was very active on at the time (I still remember playing the episodes as they came out, and talking about what choices we made). And I instantly became hooked on everything TWD. I stopped reading the comic somewhere in the Negan arc, and should try to finish it. But I've kept up with every televised series. And now, have finally finished Clementine's story. A fantastic ride from start to finish, but it's bittersweet knowing this is the end. ? #498- Code Vein Revenant Preeminent Earn all trophies KYC Reviews: Day 1 & Final Review. Been saving this for Christmas due to my outfit, and wasn't sure I was gonna find someone playing after midnight on Christmas. But my crazy plan worked out. Lol. Popular Post Ghost
Late to the party. Fantastic all around and would have been cool to see a remaster. The space battles and Clank challenges was a nice surprise. Will most likely platinum Full Frontal Assault & Into The Nexus before Rift Apart releases. Popular Post Fire
#268 - Bloodborne Bloodborne All trophies acquired. Hats off! This game was in my backlog for years and i finally got around to play it. And turns out it was really enjoyable experience. Before this i didn't have any knowledge of Souls games, except Lords of the Fallen, although most people would say its just "souls clone". Anyway, game was challenging in the beginning since i was low level and i had to be very careful. But after a while i leveled up a bit and got used to parry system and other combat related stuff. Each boss was different and needed different tactics to beat it. Funny thing, i had more trouble with Rom in the base game (which is like 5th or 6th boss) then with Orphan of Kos in DLC, and what i've heard Kos is very tough cookie. Trophy wise its more or less straightforward platinum, but there were some things that are missable and can lock you out of platinum in one playthrough. Also i think that chalice dungeons were unnecessary and such a drag, but it did add more gaming time.

Whilst all the trophy images for this game are just the games cover, the name of the platinum makes up for it. Also, certainly didn't wait for Christmas to get this and haven't had it ready to go for 2 days. Popular Post GarciaFever
#206 Steins;Gate 0 Damn this is such an amazing VN game. At first I thought that the red-headed girl was related to the main female character from the first game (Kurisu), but boy was I wrong. Now that I have seen the other endings, does anyone know what the next game that follows this one is? I need to reach Steins;Gate!
Popular Post Dry
Platinum #108 (also my 4500th trophy milestone): Far Cry 4 (PS4) Master Of Kyrat Obtain all the Trophies. I started the Far Cry franchise with Far Cry 3 five months ago when the Classic Edition was on sale for just five dollars (AUD) on the PlayStation Store. Seeing this price convinced me to get into the franchise and the platinum didn't appear too hard either so I made that move, played through the game and then got my platinum, Mastered the Jungle. Going through the story was challenging for me at some parts of the game but that's to be expected going through a new game and getting into a new franchise too. Overall I found that game was very well done (not taking into account the issues that the PS4 campaign port can cause) and watching Pyrocynical's Fat Cry 3 YouTube analysis highlighted just how good it is (too bad my respect for Pyro is not the same today). Far Cry 4 feels like the same product as before but the major difference(s) was the location (Kyrat), characters (Ajay, Sabal, Amita etc.), transport (Buzzers, ACVs), new activities (Fortresses, The Arena) and gameplay abilities/features (Karma XP awards, Throwing bait, Crafting syringes remotely plus many more). The characters are what I though about the most because Far Cry 3 had some great characters, no surprise the most popular being Vaas who deserved so much more attention. Unfortunately Ubisoft couldn't learn from Far Cry 3 and give the villian here, Pagan Min, a great amount of screentime and make him a bigger threat. He's not Vaas but his influence isn't wide enough and his presence was way too short, it's even shorter depending on your game ending. Everything else here works very simular to Far Cry 3. Like the previous game, I bought Far Cry 4 for only $5 but this time on disc for clearance one time at JB HI-FI (Aussie Media/Electronics Retailer). I could've started this one earlier but I dicided to wait because I didn't feel like playing the same kind of game one after the other and so on. This isn't a bad thing at all but it does become a problem when these open world titles are the only games that Ubisoft will produce, probably the reason I don't play too many of their games. In the future I may start the other games in the Far Cry series. Far Cry 5 has been on my mind lately and then New Dawn can follow after. I don't expect too much from Primal but one day I'll give it a chance but Far Cry 6 I'm going to wait a couple of years for unless Ubisoft puts out a game pass service where the game will be included a year later. Enjoyment: 7.8/10 Nothing took me by big suprise, the game is exactly what I expected. It's still a pretty good game, though it could've been better. Trophy Difficulty: 3/10 Single player isn't an issue, Co-op is very easy once you find a partner, Online Top Rated Map Browser is very easy too but the multiplayer might need to be boosted if you can't find any players. Friday and Saturday nights (EU Timezones) are your best bet for searching for the legit player base. I achieved Renaissance Man with enough players to start the three game modes needed in the same two hours playing on these days and time, but I can only speak for the PS4 version. Popular Post Redgrave
- #200: The New Dragon - Yakuza: Like a Dragon I was cautiously optimistic of this at first when it turned out that it was going to be more of a JRPG than the other Yakuza games but I'm glad that it turned out to be as good as it did and I like that they justify the JRPG style combat by it being because the main character Ichiban is a huge Dragon Quest fan to the point where he's a bit of a dork by imagining all sorts of things in his head and coming up with some kind of reference to it Since I haven't played a Dragon Quest game before there were also other references that I didn't get either so whenever I play Dragon Quest XI I look forward to catching on to any I missed. As far as the game and characters themselves I really liked the new characters, especially Ichiban. If he's going to be the new protagonist for the future mainline games then I look forward to seeing more of him and his group. And as far as gameplay it feels like there was always something new to do or look forward to and there are different classes you can assign each character which gives passive abilities and permanent stat boosts the more you level them up which I liked. The Platinum itself isn't really difficult except for the True Final Millennium Tower one which basically wants you to grind for a while and even then I still feel like I only managed to wing it but that may be because I didn't grind every class to level 99 but I do think it makes the Platinum at least above Yakuza 6 and Kiwami 2 in terms of difficulty. It's definitely a game I would recommend though and I'm glad to have made it my 200th Platinum ?
Popular Post BacklogGamer964
The Ultimate Reward - Dragon Age: Origins (PS3) My 14th Platinum, and 15th 100% on this account. For the most part, it wasn't terribly difficult the two DLC trophies tied to killing bosses on Hard mode went surprisingly smooth. The only real struggle came on my 2nd playthrough of the base game, as this is where I went for the Blight-Queller trophy for killing 1000 DarkSpawn. The requirements for this one are all over the place, but using the Elvin Alienage save strategy came though. I have two pieces of advice I'd give to anyone looking to do this one. First take a break. Playing through the base game, all the DLC and then the base game again has left me with a very sour opinion of the game, I've never just wanted to be done with a game so badly in my life. Second, when you go for Blight-Queller, use a Mage. I did it with a Warrior so it's not impossible, but the reload area would have gone so much faster with use of the AoE spells like Earthquake. Popular Post snakebit10
328 As you can tell the subject matter for this game is deep. It even gives a warning before the game, if you have ever dealt with suicidal thoughts you may not want to play the game or do so under supervision. So, it is a walking simulator that is rich on story content. I will try to make this as spoiler free as possible. You play as Nicole "Nicky" and you return to the family hotel after your father passes and are to sell it. After arriving a major snow storm hits and you get stuck there. Mysterious things begin to happen and well I'll stop right there. Anything else I say will spoil it. Yes, it is a easy trophy list but some things are missable. It more than makes up for it in the story told, IMO. Don't expect major gameplay innovations or anything. Just relax and take in the story as you go.

Popular Post MidnightDragon
#61 Puyo Puyo Tetris 2 Another foray into the world of Sega's comibination of Puyo Puyo and Tetris. It's just as fun as the first one. The adventure mode once again doesn't have the most compelling story, but who plays a puzzle game for the story? It's also much easier to get 100% this time. Side levels count towards 100% and, if you three star every level in a chapter, you get a chance for a fourth star, so it's likely you'll be at 100% before the end if you play side stories and do the fourth star regularly. I hit 100% in the fifth chapter. And your percentage goes beyond 100%. I got to 125.6% by the end. I assume that four starring all levels would let you end at 200%, but I didn't try it. Online isn't too difficult to boost, but it may take you a couple tries to find the person you're looking for in a match and I did have a couple random disconnects. The only real negative is that it's pretty much the same as the first game. There is a new battle mode, Skill Battle, where you have a HP meter and have to reduce your opponent's to 0. There are several in the adventure mode and I didn't try it outside of that. It really doesn't add anything to it. Also, currently, the main way to grind Tetriminos from the first game (repeatedly playing Big Bang) doesn't work. Not sure if it's intentional or not, but hopefully it's fixed. I enjoy Tetris more than Puyo Puyo, so wasn't that big of a deal. On the plus side, I got a free PS5 upgrade waiting if I so choose. I enjoyed the first game, so the fact there wasn't very much difference wasn't a huge deal to me and I still enjoyed it, but it might be for you.

Popular Post da-Noob123
Platinumed Spider-Man Miles Morales today. Took 3 days, while it is shorter I did enjoy it a lot. The FNSM app makes the crimes so much better to deal with and I loved the side missions too. This game and its predecessor do collectibles right by using them to tell a meaningful story that really helps flesh out the main story. Only drawback is Pete's new face which I am still getting used to and a NG+ run was needed. Also playing it now was the perfect time since it takes place right around Christmas and when the snow storm starts in the game I had a blizzard start at my home in real life. ?
Popular Post Undead Wolf
#340 - Judgment The Greatest Detective Obtained all other trophies. This game really impressed me. It's undoubtedly the best game the series has seen since the switch to the Dragon Engine (haven't played Yakuza 7 yet so I can't comment on that one). I really enjoyed the fresh perspective Yagami provides what with him being a detective. Some other great characters too that I really connected with. The story kept me on the edge of my seat the whole time and the finale with a thing of beauty. So hype! Only thing I wasn't so hot on was the addition of the tailing sections, but that's only a minor gripe really in what is otherwise a fantastic game. As for the trophies, it was a pretty typical list for one of these games. 100% in-game completion is required which is what I prefer honestly. It took me about 70 hours to achieve this with the only real challenge being Puyo Puyo. Even then, I feel like the difficulty of this was exaggerated somewhat since I'm not that good at it and was able to meet the requirements within about 6 hours of attempts (spread out over the first playthrough). It was pretty fun honestly. I'm looking forward to playing Yakuza 7 sometime next year and finishing up my series completion! ?
