Popular Post IceSoul21
Plat #79: Tomb Raider. True Survivor. Unlock every Tomb Raider trophy. Never played any of the original games, but I like this reboot. You can see how they took inspiration from Naughty Dog's Uncharted in order to make the game, so I had a good time. Own the HD Remaster of the old trilogy, so I'll see how they hold up once I played them. Plat #80: Fairy Fencer F. Obtained every trophy. "Thank you...I love you." Who was the genius that came up with the idea of the 100M gold trophy? And who was the guy that was like "ok, sounds like a good trophy. Let's add it!"? Still, a fun game. Maybe a 7/10. Will try the PS4 if I'm able to get one at some point since it has more routes, endings and stuff.
Popular Post Draps-1337
#107 Devil May Cry 2 Difficulty 5/10 Enjoyment 5/10 After playing DMC 1 I would say DMC has a lot of improvements but also takes a couple of steps backward over the first game. I think people give the game a pretty rough review, as it still quite enjoyable and features the stylish hack and slash combat from the first game. It's genuinely easier than the first game (I haven't gotten the platinum on 1 yet) and I don't think that is a bad thing, it still has challenging points on the harder difficulties. Trish DT is really overpowered. Specifically the flying range attack. it can kill most bosses in 1 DT bar. so if you stock up on devil stars, you can melt your way through Must Die mode. On to DMC 3 next!
Popular Post Trini
#142 - We Were Here This was less about the platinum and more about having a fun time with my gf ....except it felt more like a chore getting through it the first time. There's obviously a lot of trial and error that's involved but we managed it in the end. Edited February 15, 2021 by Trini
Bluefalcon2210
#51 - Rocket Arena So I was always interested in playing this before it went on PS Plus but I never bought because to me it always seemed like a game that should have been FTP from the start or been given as a plus game when it orginally came out but it wasn't, when it finally came to plus it was a perfect chance for me to start palying it. It was a fun game at first a good way to kill an hour or two on a saturday afternoon adn the trophies were pretty easy to get so I made the decision to get the plat which I don't regret but dear god those level trophies are just a killer because of the massive grind they are, by the time I had 5 character's to level 25 I'd got my fill out of the game but I still had to get a character to level 100 so going from 50 to 100 after that was just a chore. All the trophies can be done in bot matches by the way so it's not hard it's just a massive chore and now that I've completed it I'm retiring from Rocket Arena.

Popular Post sk_lp_him
#85 - Mortal Kombat 11 Elder God Komplete all trophies I'm disappointed with this game. There is too much Injustice 2 influence that it feels more like Injustice 2.5 than Mortal Kombat. The mobile tactics don't help either, there are literally thousands of skins and gears locked behind a huge grind and RNG. Even if you want to change the type of upgrades you have to pay currency - this is ridiculous. The Krypt is interesting the first time you enter until you realize that is just another RNG casino. The story looks great graphically but Kronika is very boring main villain and even more boring final boss. I was hoping that Dark Raiden will be the big bad but they erased him after the first chapter - talk about huge missed opportunity. The platinum is easier than MKX but MKX is the better game.

Ode2Destruxion
#31 Dirt 5 Really enjoyable racing game. The variety of cars and events is very impressive and it really didn't bore me once. There are only 21 trophies, so very few filler trophies - most being tied to the career mode. The career mode has a fun narrative in the form of various podcasts with some good humour thrown in. The difficulty is fair. Unlike some racing games which are hard throughout, easy is actually easy and hard is harder. There is one exception to this: one vehicle that comes around four times throughout your career really spikes the difficulty to another level - but for those not caring about completing them, you don't have to win them all to achieve Platinum. The one downside is that there are numerous game crashes after races - and trophies can be dodgy to pop. I only experienced one trophy not popping at the right time but it corrected itself soon after. I know a lot of other people experienced quite a few though. The crashes though - I probably had 8 or 9 of them during my play. Too many. For only that reason it loses a rating so... 9/10
Popular Post Rias Gremory
Platinum #75 Goodbye Deponia 75th Milestone Common: 77.66% Difficulty: 2/10. Enjoyment: 9/10. Challenge: 9/10. Music: 8/10. Grind Difficulty: 3/10. Genre: Point-and-Click, Adventure, Indie, Science-Fiction and Comedy. Platinum Time: 1 day and 1 hour. Same thing before from last year 2020. The third sequel. Honestly, Challenges like these are fun and excitement to me and this was really fun to played. The puzzles were very easy and I cannot complained about it. Preferably, I like things they are a little longer more challenging and funny cutscenes so to speak. They're easy and yes missable trophies are included in the mix as well. I've enjoyed so far and never gonna stop. Highly recommended for the game. Next Platinum: ???
Popular Post voodoo_eyes
#632 - Infliction Neat horror game, that is a tad too dark at times from a visual standpoint. Lots of nods to other horror games, throughout this game, which was kind of cool. Enjoyment: 7 Difficulty: 3 (only because of one trophy that's kind reliant on a bit of luck)
Popular Post Conor
#93- LIFE IS STRANGE: BEFORE THE STORM [PS4] Bring on the Storm Enjoyment: 8/10 Challenge: 2/10 Time Taken: 3 Days, 1 Hour, 13 Minutes (<15 hours in-game) Rarity: 23.3% Rare (PSN) / 64.54% Common (PSNProfiles) Hardest Trophy: Messed Up- Complete the optional graffiti #10 in Episode 3: Hell is Empty "The world breaks everyone... and afterward, some are strong at the broken places..." I loved the original Life is Strange, having platinum'd it twice both on PS3 and PS4, so it was a given that I would continue with the series. This prequel details the origin of the relationship between the rebellious Chloe Price and Rachel Amber- whose disappearance was the backbone of the original game. While the characterisation of Chloe is pretty on-point, she is sadly not voiced by Ashley Burch due to the SAG-AFTRA union strike (fight the power!), though she does return in the bonus episode which came with the Collector's Edition of the game which I have. This isn't to say that the VA here does a bad job, in fact, she sounds pretty alike while also doing her own thing, so it wasn't really an issue for me once I was well along in the game. The problem with prequels is that it can limit what can and cannot be done with the world given that certain things are established in the original work, or else you have continuity issues. So it is pretty ironic that a game that was about time travel has some problems when this story is taken into account. I wouldn't consider any of it really to be a mark against this game when it is, of course, taken in its own right, but it does beg several questions thereafter. Without spoiling anything, there are several characters that have a major impact on the main cast but their effect is entirely absent in the original game. I get that this was an attempt to further flesh out the world, and some of their absences in the original game are actually explained but not all of them. It also shows that one certain character only developed an interest in photography at the time of this game's conclusion but in the original work it was implied that they were at Blackwell Academy for the purpose of being in the photography class in the first place. The biggest changes though are made at the hands of the player- the relationship that Chloe can have with her mother, with David Madsen, with Frank Bowers and most of all with Rachel Amber. In the original game it was implied that they were best friends though Chloe secretly harboured romantic feelings for Rachel too, but in this game, well... Time travel is also absent, meaning that you have to live with the choices that you make. However, the Backtalk minigame was added in which Chloe can use her acerbic wit to take on her adversaries in all-out verbal abuse, which can be pretty damned funny. Even if it fails, you can get around the situation in other ways so there's no way to actually fail the game. Also, in place of photographs, Chloe instead does graffiti, which are easy to find with a guide but I went right past the very last one at the end and had to go back in collectible mode once I was finished the story. Not he end of the world but it would have been worse if I'd missed out on more. In all, I'm not sure if I can say that I like this game better than the original since I doubt I would replay it again, but it was still an enjoyable time and also great to get some context for the story of Chloe and Rachel.
Popular Post EIdain
Platinum #71 - Concrete Genie The Artist of Denska - Rare: 50.02% I'm definitely not the target audience for this game - a game about bulling - as the message it conveys doesn't say anything I didn't already know. It's still a really well put together game, although I'm still not a huge fan of motion control. An easy platinum, you'll get most of the trophies just by playing the game naturally and beating the story. Then there's a bit of collectible clean up post credits, that can be done in an hour or so with the help of a guide. Guest
Platinum #419 Rogue Company Overall, a great experience. I had a lot of fun. For a free game, great graphics and gameplay. In view of the massive amount of free games I have ever gotten platinum, this was one of the best. The game is nothing original, but it entertains; and even more than some overrated AAA's. The only problematic trophy was getting 100 wins, this trophy can be brutal if you play with random people, I strongly recommend you play with friends at party. Oh, and the 25 hour party trophy can be a little frustrating without friends lol. Time: +60 hours, +300 games.
Popular Post GTA_Darren
#312 - Shining Resonance Refrain - PS4 This plat took longer than I expected. It is a very fun JRPG, and I will never get board with its battle system. Also, all the characters are remarkable. There were some grinding in the end, but it was not that bad. Overall it's not a difficult plat.

Popular Post Redgrave
#203: Youngblood - Wolfenstein: Youngblood I mainly got this for the co-op but despite trying to give the story a chance I found it just hard to take it seriously from the beginning due to how weird the tone was and how the characters were written. It kind of felt like the way The New Colossus did where it had a kind of dark comedy style that I just couldn't really find funny at all and in the end me and my friend just muted the dialogue because the way the characters acted and talked was too cringey. I think that says a lot since I can laugh at the first Life is Strange game despite the dialogue being bad, but it's a funny kind of bad. Here I just couldn't, and I think the best way I can describe it is it wants to have a dark kind of story like The New Order did, but it also wants to have quirky and sassy characters and so it just doesn't mix well. I felt like The New Colossus was also this way too which is one of the reasons I couldn't enjoy that one as much as The New Order. Now I'll be fair on the game and say that it actually is fun to play and I think I enjoyed playing it more than The New Colossus because it actually felt like you were wearing some kind of armored suit and not just wet paper for armor along with there being a double jump from the start. I don't think the RPG health bars and levels were really needed but they weren't as bad as I was worried they were going to be like although I think I read that there was a patch that rebalanced the game not too long after it came out so maybe I would be saying otherwise if I played it before then. Still, I wouldn't say I got bored with the shooting even while grinding. Speaking of the grind, the trophies mostly require a lot of kill grinding and collecting Silver Coins from chests that respawn every 24 hours which I would probably hate a lot more if I couldn't get away with upping the system clock. It's very tedious and I can't imagine how the devs actually expected people to do it without doing that. If I actually did do it without using the system clock it would have taken me until either late April or early May to get all the Silver Coins needed for upgrades. That all said, thanks to @Undead Wolf for playing with me once again ? #204: A Flash of Light - The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel III I had intended to play this last year but I got caught up with other big games such as the Yakuza remasters so I had to put it on hold so I didn't get burnt out with one big game after another ? It was well worth the wait though and it was nice seeing the continuation from the second game and how Rean is now teaching his own Class VII students. I liked the squad commands you could do and from what I read is also in the fourth game so that will be nice to use again. Probably the only obstacle in the way of playing this is you kind of need to understand events that happen in another game not on PS4 but thankfully there are recap videos you can find. Otherwise I liked it as much as the first two, even if there were some parts of the game that felt like they dragged on for a while which is probably the games weakest point really but I still consider it good overall. I look forward to seeing how the story concludes in the fourth game.
