Popular Post TheQuisling
⭐⭐ Super Meat Boy (PS4/VITA) ⭐⭐ Super Meat Boy! | 0.24% | Unlock all other trophies ULTRA RARE ⏳ Time Completed: 2 months, 1 week Difficulty For Me: 11 / 10 ? Controllers Destroyed: 2 ? Enjoyment: 'But i didn't touch the saw blade. I was nowhere near it. THERE WAS CLEAR DAYLIGHT BETWEEN US!!!' / 10 Summary: It's finally over? Truly? The ordeal is really behind me? Oh....the summary....apologies! Super Meat Boy requires no introduction to anyone. We all know it. We all avoid it. We all RESPECT it etc, ETC. I had been studying each light/dark world for over a year and knew virtually every aspect of the game BEFORE finally plucking up the courage to say "DO IT!!!" (hybrid of a Nike commercial and Shia Lebeouf voice) a couple of months back. We all have those video game 'white whales'. This was mine (and that which i will contemplate putting atop any future CV hehe!) Now i, like most, quickly found out that researching the game mechanics, having full knowledge of potential hazards and/or being able to predict every upcoming challenge.....DOESN'T MEAN S*** WHEN YOU ARE DEALING WITH THIS LEVEL OF DIFFICULTY!!! In many ways the micro-levels per each world almost make the game more infuriating. Often you know every inch of the layout, you know the hippity-hoppity mechanics, you know every pattern of attack from all upcoming saw blade/rocket launcher/salt....and...STILL PERISH ANYWAY!!! This hurt to the point whereby an inanimate object stripped me of my pride and belief that i am physically capable of overcoming the required 'no death' dark world challenges which i had been anticipating and guarding against for over a calendar year. ?❌ So why/how is SMB soul crushingly difficult? The simplicity. Taking the platform concept, removing checkpoints and making you earn every sliver of progress. There is no 'luck' in SMB. Margin for error is slim to none. The hit boxes are questionable and you have to repeatedly aim for the tiniest of landing spots in the midst of a multitude of obstacles for long stretches' of time. The gravity defying mechanics are easy to pickup but complex to master. Quite often wall jumping long distances and thinking several jumps/moves ahead will get you flatlined until both the individual level and your confidence in the controls are consigned to muscle memory. The pace of the game. WOW! Button mashing = insta-death. There are lots of levels whereby you cannot pause for breaks or to consider future 'moves'. The more difficult the moment? The calmer you must become which for hotheads (like myself) does not come easy! Quite simply: The dark world levels. Even when you dragged your now lifeless corpse through the Main Game and developed an excellent understanding of all things SMB. The spike in difficulty is so acute that it is (at least initially) demoralizing. Keep the faith! After switching games, rebuilding some confidence and returning to SMB (only for SHORT intervals) i did begin to make gradual progress as will/would YOU with the correct prep', approach and perspective. DO NOT be dissuaded by mine or others ramblings! Speaking of which? The for 'Demon Boy' (Hell dark world no death run) and the for 'Girl Boy' (Cotton Allley light world no death run) were/are my most problematic no death worlds. The pressure on the final few levels becomes immense and i 'cracked' numerous times just considering the enormity of the potential completion (a common theme!) Yet if/when you can overcome these two in particular, it will adequately prepare you for undoubtedly the most difficult challenge in SMB and one of the most high profile singular trophies around: To complete Cotton Alley dark world without dying you must practice each level within it to the point whereby you are more familiar with each than your own name! No different to any other challenging game. It feels next to 'impossible' at times but you have to forget actually completing the world and just concentrate on each individual level within it. You pick the order of how/when you attempt the levels so find out which you find at least easIER (7-2, 7-5 and 7-7 for me) and leave those until the very end because you need to try and overcome your weaker levels first (i HATE 7-3 and 7-4) lest you build up false hope too early. You may be looking at days or potentially weeks to nail your clean run from start to finish but it will probably arrive when you least expect it. ❓ Final Thoughts: Why do we do this to ourselves? Yes it is satisfying overcoming extremely difficult challenges but does that outweigh the mental anguish accrued in doing so? I suppose that is for the individual to decide. Personally? The juice is definitely worth the squeeze. SMB was worth everything (including the two controllers which did not make it past Cotton Alley dark world with me) because SMB represents a level of dedication that few will even contemplate attempting. I can only implore anyone reading this to at least consider giving it a go (if you haven't already.) Much of the game is trial and error and there are some excellent guides out there (written and visual) which can walk you through the more treacherous sections you may find temporarily insurmountable. I would never have finished the game without being able to read/see (and thus learn) the technique required to overcome a lot of the saw blade sections etc. Thank you for reading any/all of my struggle to overcome both SMB and myself at times.... Congratulations on your own latest & future ! ? Rating: 10 / 10
Popular Post ziggypossum
The Original Gangster Obtained all Mafia: Definitive Edition Trophies Difficulty: 7/10 Enjoyment: 9/10 Yeah, I really liked this Mafia remake. The infamous race trophy (Ch.5) on Classic Difficulty was a real challenge for me, 'cause I don't like racing simulator games at all, so it was a huge pain to nail this one Also, the Mystery Fox Domination trophy is kinda glitchy, so beware.
Popular Post Mariner1534
#65: Astro's Playroom - You've Only Done Everything First PS5 plat! Finally got the console yesterday, and this was such a great way to break it in. It looks gorgeous, shows off the DualSense well, and has tons of references to Playstation's entire 25+ year history - for a game that comes pre-installed for free on every PS5, they really went above and beyond. I also really liked Rescue Mission on PSVR, so another platformer in the same series was right up my alley. The game's really short, but again, it's a free introduction to the PS5 and it did that job very well - it just left me wanting more Astro Bot in the future. The plat's really easy, if you couldn't already tell from the completion rate hovering around 60%. It only took me about 4 hours spread out over one day to do it, including the three "add-on" trophies. Could've done it a bit faster, but I wanted to play through the game blind first and go back for missed stuff afterwards. The game's meant to be very accessible to everyone, so nothing here will seriously challenge you (besides maybe the speedrun trophy, which isn't part of the plat). It's much easier than Rescue Mission, too; if you plat that one, you can complete Playroom in your sleep. Even though Astro's Playroom lacks any sort of difficulty for the most part, it was still an absolute joy to play through, so please don't skip it when you break out your shiny new PS5. Popular Post JoaLoft
#267 - Observer: System Redux As we patiently wait for Cyberpunk 2077 to redeem itself with a next-gen version, there's at least another cyberpunk story worth experiencing with this revised edition. Your name is Daniel Lazarski. You are an Observer. In Observer: System Redux, you take on the futuristic role of an aforementioned Observer, a detective who is able to extract information neurally. You access suspects and victims' minds to dig for clues and explanations which help solve cases when people of interest are unwllling or unable to cooperate. You can see how these Observers play a necessary role in an oppressive society, and it shouldn't surprise you as such that the story takes place exactly 100 years after 1984, referring to George Orwell's famous novel. The year is 2084 when Daniel Lazarski, part of the Krakow Police Department (in Poland, if your geography is a bit lacking), gets a distress call from his son. He heads to the apartment complex and discovers a crime scene with a fresh corpse. Not long after, the entire building suddenly goes into full lockdown without any reasonable explanation. No one goes in, and no one goes out. You, the tenants, the janitor and the killer are all trapped together in the complex. You'll interrogate the tenants, even explore other apartments to solve another small case here and there in this run-down class-C building which houses mainly the poor, the degenerates of society, as you pursue the clues to find out what happened to your son, why the lockdown triggered, who the killer is, and what in God's name is going on. In terms of design, I'd wager this is Bloober Team's best work so far. Layers of Fear was alright, but never grasped my attention properly. It was about a painter who lost his sanity trying to convey the beauty of his wife perfectly on a canvas and couldn't stop trying in his obsessive perfectionism. Observer, however, reads like a cyberpunk detective thriller, featuring an expert investigator in his field who also has a personal stake in this case. It also leads up to a pretty cool climax, and two different endings, one feeling more satisfying than the other. There's no combat to speak of in Observer: System Redux. What you're doing, is hiding at specific intervals (no spoilers), exploring, interrogating people through dialogue trees, digging through computer files searching for additional clues, analyzing crime scenes from an electromagnetic and biological perspective, solving puzzles, hacking into minds and making decisions as to how you wish to conclude cases. Yes, cases will actually give you a moral choice to make at the end, aside from the main story case as well. This enhanced version does not only feature new animations and details, but adds several new side cases to solve in the apartment complex. You'll be exploring the basement levels, ground floor, all the way up to the third floor. So there are definitely plenty of people to interrogate and apartments or storage units to investigate. The original game only had a few side cases to sink your teeth into, and I felt that would've been lacking. These three new cases are most certainly a welcome addition to the entire package. What hasn't changed, is that it still features the late and great Rutger Hauer as Daniel Lazarski who sadly passed away in 2019, two years after the original Observer game was released. As a form of tribute, the developers even added a small but neat Blade Runner easter egg. If you've seen the movie, you'll definitely know which legendary snippet they included. Game length will go up to ten - twelve hours if you focus on exploring and completing everything. For how much it costs, that's a very acceptable length. Observer is also labeled as a psychological horror game. And I'd like to emphasize the "psychological" aspect over the "horror" part. The game never felt like horror to me. Sure, the neural interrogations, i.e. when you dive into someone's mind, deliver some very twisted and disturbing visuals, but they never felt like real horror to me. Know that feeling when your stomach churns of suspense when you're on the edge of your seat in an intense horror scene? That's not what you'll get here. There's intrigue and suspense, alright, but not of the horrific kind. You want real horror? Play the Outlast games, Amnesia or Alien: Isolation for the first time. This felt much more like a detective thriller to me, which for all intents and purposes is a big compliment. It has an enticing premise, consistent build-up, and a satisfying conclusion. I really enjoyed the experience. Even more so because this was one of Rutger Hauer's final performances before he passed away. I've always been a fan of his work, so carrying the knowledge this is one of his very last contributions, carries extra weight. Many moments may be lost in time like tears in rain, but these won't be. (Please tell me you got that last reference.) Most frustrating trophy - Pandemic The trophy list consists mostly of finding a lot of different collectibles, finishing the main case, the side cases, etcetera. There is one trophy which requires you to access a specific person's mind and get 3000+ points in what is essentially some sort of defense mechanism mini-game to prevent Observers from peeking in. This trophy would've made the cut if it wasn't for those stupid 76 Nanophage cards you have to collect for a trophy which is appropriately called "Pandemic". Not only did they improve gameplay and audiovisual elements of the game, they also added more collectible cards in the game in the new cases and changed the locations of several original ones. And there's no updated guide to speak of. Meaning that you'll need to combine an old guide and the addendum including the new cards so you don't miss any, because this is a highly missable trophy. A significant portion of collectible cards are hidden in neural interrogations, which can only be accessed once as part of the main story. On top of that: the cards are non-functional. They show facial shots of the developers and the voice cast, I presume. Rutger Hauer's is one of them, for example. With all due respect to the team involved: these collectibles serve no purpose. They didn't in Mafia II, and they still don't in Observer: System Redux. Please just stop putting these non-functional collectibles in games.
Popular Post kRiZz_93
# 141 - Fate / Extella Link (PS4) Difficulty - 2 / 10 Enjoyment - 7 / 10 (I had never played any of the Fate / Extella series before, though it did remind me of games such as Dynasty Warriors and Gundam. Once you start the game up you create a 'Master', someone that is sorta like a commander giving orders; but it soon became apparent that actually you control a 'Servant' named Charlemagne. The story was okay, probably the weakest part of the game to be honest. There is a decent lineup of characters you can unlock and play from, each of them have unique skill mods and weaponry. The combat felt smooth which was great, though it did get repetitive near the end of completing the story missions twice and all the bonus stages for a total of 96 stages....? Overall it was decent but I do wish they didn't throw so many mission stages in, most if not all the extra stages was just repeats of story maps. I am glad it's finally over though! ?) Time Taken - 1 Week 6 Days 6 Hours # 142 - Call of Duty: Black Ops Declassified (Vita) Difficulty - 6 / 10 Enjoyment - 8.5 / 10 (Well....how do I even start this ? When I saw the guide stated 7 for difficulty, firstly I thought c'mon I like a challenge especially shooters; secondly I contemplated how far this would annoy me as the Vita doesn't have the most precise analog sticks for first person shooters. On one hand i'm glad I brought it as it was actually quite good, 10 decently sized story missions / 5 time trials and 5 survival missions; not to mention the multiplayer component of which I haven't played yet. Here comes the kicker, beating times in trials and survive waves wasn't that bad, some of those missions on Veteran really punish you as the A.I just don't miss! Oh and they clip bullets through cover sometimes.....but we'll forget about that as thankfully I am finished now ? I would say that it's pretty decent overall, if your thinking about attempting the platinum be prepared for a bit of hair pulling ? Seriously though, definitely give it a try and remember to keep calm on veteran, you'll get there in the end to be rewarded with great satisfied and a new shiny platinum for your collection! Popular Post TheArcadeKid
#225 - Sega Mega Drive Classics I'm a huge Sega fan, so it made sense to make this my 225th plat milestone. This is a compilation of 53 Mega Drive games, and most of them hold up extremely well. Sonic, Golden Axe, Streets of Rage, Phantasy Star, Space Harrier... pretty much all the games that normally turn up in Sega collections, with a few odd omissions like Sonic 3 & Knuckles and Ecco the Dolphin (which doesn't bother me, personally). I didn't notice any issues with the emulation, although I'm guessing the games are based on the US version, not European. I didn't spend a lot of time in the options menu, so I could be wrong, but I don't think there's a way to switch to European versions – US is default, and occasionally there's an option to switch to JP. European games run slower, so I can see why they went with US, but if you only ever owned a PAL Mega Drive, then none of these games are going to play quite how you remember them. The platinum run was pretty satisfying, although also easier than expected. You've got your standard trophies, and you've also got in-game challenges (which you'll need to do for the plat). The compilation's save/load/rewind features are disabled in the challenges, which means there's no safety net, but really, none of the challenges are that difficult after learning how the actual game works. I'd have liked more trophies/challenges for more games - the spread is pretty inconsistent here.
Popular Post Gommes_
#136 Granblue Fantasy: Versus Platinum Sky So, I got this game for a really good price and wanted to check that out since it’s a beat em up game and was made by Arc System Works. The game is okay I guess. It looks great, has a good soundtrack but overall is a little too limited for my taste and not the game that was promised. The game greets you with an image of plenty of characters but as soon as you enter the character select screen the majority is hidden behind multiple season passes. And that is not all what I mean when I say limited. You also don’t have anything to, at least when it comes to normal 1 on 1 fighting. Sure, there is an arcade mode but that’s pretty much it. The majority of the game takes place in its RPG-mode which has nothing to do with that classic fighting you might expect. The developers even had the audacity to tell a “story” about allies who are possessed, a world tree and crystals! All the clichés you can imagine are in there! . The game is also limited when it comes to fighting mechanics, as they all behave kinda similar or better said follow the same logic. Everything about this game is too basic for my taste. However, the aforementioned RPG-mode was quite fun the second time around. You have to do this mode two times in order to get one specific weapon for a trophy. During that hard run it was a fun task to overcome some challenges by equipping the right weapons, building your characters and try out different methods. But it is weird to have the most fun with the game when you have to play a side scrolling retro beat em up instead of an expected 1 on 1 fighting game. Besides the lousy season pass mechanic Granblue Fantasy: Versus also reminded me of a mobile game. Everything is shiny, colorful, in your face and has some sort of gacha system implemented. So yeah, get the game for 20 bucks if you can but for 60? No way.
Popular Post B1rvine
Mega Man 11 The Blue Bomber Returns The level designs are really solid and fit with the theme of the robot masters. The music is above average. All of the weapons are useful for things. Overall, I'd rank this 3rd best from the classic series, behind 2 and 9. It's slightly challenging, but not so bad anyone will get frustrated. Enjoyment : 10 / 10 Difficulty : 5 / 10

Popular Post aldreezi
#402 - Hunter's Arena: Legends Legendary Hunter \ Difficulty: 3/10 Enjoyment: 6/10 I like the idea of melee battle royale with MOBA elements, but the implication in this game is a rough one. Unbalanced characters with little skill to win, as long as you are 2 or 3 levels above your opponent you will destroy them in no time. No defense option except for one that is basically useless in 1v2 situations. Sometimes you will press a button with no response, let alone the frame issues. I want this game to succeed but they will have to work hard on it. Edited August 15, 2021 by aldreezi

Plat 64: STAR WARS JEDI: FALLEN ORDER Difficulty: 4 Fun: 10 Grind: 5 The most fun I've had in ages! It's a fresh take on being a Jedi. Trophy wise, there are a ton of collectables, so a good guide is essential. Completing the collection will take up most of your time, it's a shame that 90% of what you collect is worthless. (gameplay wise) This game would've really benefited from difficulty trophies imho. The only thing I don't like is the map, its impossible to read at some points. Here's the thing: Even after getting the Plat, I want to play it again! This almost never happens... Plat 65: UNCHARTED: GOLDEN ABYSS Difficulty: 5 Fun: 6.5 Grind: 3 Tech wise, It's very impressive. It proved that full AAA experiences are possible on the Vita. I loved the story, especially Dante and Guerro. Gameplay is fine, with a few gripes: nobody likes babysitting dumb AI partners, ND! Balancing on a log is just terrible... Trophies are not hard, but there's lots to collect. Compared to other games in the series, the Crushing difficulty is very forgiving. Popular Post Omelette Paradise
#501 - CSI: Fatal Conspiracy The Telltale game I never knew existed. I picked up a used copy of this dirt cheap at my local game store thinking 'why not' as I'm partial to watching the odd episode of CSI here and there if I spot it playing while channel surfing although I've never been a die hard fan of the show. This was a slog to play through, I have to be honest. A lot of that has to do with simply how dated the game is and it very much feels like a game released right in the middle of the PS3 being a current-gen console. It doesn't help that the mini games you play when examining evidence are pretty dull and repetitive (the DNA matching one being the worst offender). Outside these mini-games though, it's a standard point & click game albeit an extremely dated feeling and clunky one. The five cases and the overarching story itself weren't bad but the ending was almost comically underwhelming. I think I'll stick with watching CSI on TV in the future Enjoyment: 4/10 Difficulty: 3/10 Edited August 15, 2021 by Omelette Paradise
Popular Post Undead Wolf
#369 - Way of the Samurai 3 Platinum Trophy Acquired all the Trophies. This is a series I've only recently discovered the existence of, but I'm sure glad I did. It's pretty much everything I ever wanted from a samurai game. When you first start the game, you do a bit of customisation on your character, and then you're thrown into this sandbox and told to make your own way. There are 22 different endings, and the one you get all depends on what events you partake in, your choices in them, and the relationship you establish with the characters and factions. I love the amount of freedom you're given and it's really enjoyable to see all the different outcomes. Characters you allied with in one playthough could be mortal enemies in the next and so on. There's even a secret ending you can get where you kill all the NPC's in the game. How cool is that!? ? The game has a good sense of humour too which I appreciated. The platinum mostly consists of two things: getting all of the endings and collecting all of the 102 different weapons. You need to do at least 21 playthroughs (secret ending not required). This sounds daunting, but you can speed through the game in under an hour for a lot of the endings, so it's not as bad as it sounds. Of course doing this many playthroughs means you'll be seeing a lot of the same events, but the new scene here and there helps keep things interesting. As for collecting all the weapons, that's where the real fun begins. You can find a lot of them naturally off fallen enemies, but not all of them are that easy. Sometimes you'll have to do very specific things to make a certain character appear who has a unique weapon, but the information for this game online can be pretty vague at times, so I had to figure out stuff like why a specific job wasn't appearing myself. It can be a bit of a struggle. There are also a bunch of rare weapons in the game, a lot of which only have a chance at appearing on Hard or the Instant Kill mode. The latter one makes things extra tough since any kind of combat can go south very quickly. But when you do get to the specific character or enemy type that has a chance at dropping the weapon, that's when it starts to get properly tedious. You basically have to run up to the NPC, check what weapon they're holding, and then when you determine that it's not the correct one, you either travel to a new area and come back, or just reset the game entirely depending on what's quicker in that scenario. Sometimes it took hours of me doing this before the weapon I wanted finally appeared. Even with the platinum being a bit of a pain to get, I got some UR trophies out of the deal, so I can't complain. ? I still think this game is brilliant and I'm looking forward to playing the 4th game in the not so distant future. #370 - Delicious! Pretty Girls Mahjong Solitaire Master of Delicious! Unlock all other trophies After finishing up Way of the Samurai 3, I figured I'd change gears a bit and play this Mahjong Solitaire game. Don't let the basic-looking gameplay deceive you - this is actually pretty addictive. ? I haven't really played anything like this before. The idea is you have to match two Mahjong pieces together from this giant pile with different layers, but doing it in the wrong order can screw you over and leave no room to continue. The levels are tied to a different anime girl, and completing the various stages unlocks a new, more scantily clad outfit for them to wear, so now can understand why I was keen to play this game. ? My only real disappointment with this game is the trophy list. You're not required to beat the more challenging stages related to each girl, and you can even play on the easy mode if you so choose. It's one of those platinums that doesn't feel very rewarding to get, and it's a shame because there's definitely more to this game than the trophy list lets on.
Popular Post slender_adrian
#74 Difficulty: 5/10 Enjoyment: 10/10 Rarity: 9.04% Very Rare Time: 43 Hours "Devils never cry" What can I say about this game... The first time I played this game and watch two dudes with white hair fighting with swords on the rain I fell in love with this game haha. This game is perfect, the soundtrack for this game it's ridiculously amazing, the characters are incredible I mean, who doesn't like a buffoon called Jester? The boss fights are awesome, my favorite (excluding Vergil of course) is Cerberus, man that dog has my blessing! And that ending truly hit my heart ? Devil May Cry 3 its one of my favorite games of all times and in my opinion the best DMC game, good memories playing this game has a kid, was awesome coming back to this game I truly enjoyed every second of it, still to this day this game keeps rockin! Getting the trophies for this game was easy, the trophies are simple and straightforward, it may seem a bit grindy, since you have to beat the game on all 5 difficulties, but I was ok with that, I really think this is a pretty good trophy list, no fancy stuff whatsoever haha, of course there were some annoying parts, specially on my Heaven or Hell playthrough (Heaven Can Wait) I died more than in my DMD playthrough I know, hilarious. After getting the plat for DMC2 ? and doing the whole 9000 floors ( Over 9000!) I was a bit worried about doing the Bloody Palace again in this game, I didn't want to sit on the couch and play for 6 hours straight, but surprisingly this time it was fun doing it, took me about 2 hours to complete it without rushing in haha ( Bloody Hell). I thought Hellish Honor trophy would take quite some time but getting all S ranks was easy (playing on easy right?). To make this short, this is a platinum that I totally recommend getting specially if you like the DMC games, it truly makes you enjoy the game!
Popular Post AJ_Radio
Platinums #282 & #283: Blasting Agent: Ultimate Edition Difficulty: 5/10 Estimated Time to Platinum: 4 - 5 Hours Each Excitement Rating: 5/10 Hardest Trophy: Level 4 - Hard ( Clear Level 4 on Hard Difficulty) Not a good game in all honesty. I wasn't compelled to write about this one since this is perhaps the one and only Ratalaika game I'll have on my profile. We all know why they get a bad reputation, so I won't delve into that here. This is an old school platformer sort of akin to the old DOS platformer games of the early 1990s. Not as good as Commander Keen, for you old guys out there *wink wink*. Anyway, this is a low budget game offered at a bargain bin price, so I figured, I'll jump into a game that's easy and simple to understand. I enjoyed the first playthrough. Normal Mode is fair and just. Then came Hard Mode, and here is where I lost my enjoyment with the game. You kill enemies and collect gold, you have to 100 percent a given level which means every enemy and every piece of gold must be collected. Completing finishing the level after you beat a boss with the criteria finished gives you a new ability on Normal Mode. It ain't mandatory, but they're useful. Having double jump and a dash ability is just too good to pass up. Pretty basic stuff. On Hard Mode however, everything is 10 times harder. Unfortunately you don't keep the abilities you earned after you finish your first playthrough. Blasting Agent is completely useless on Hard, enemies are literally bullet sponges, they're very fast, and they deal a lot more damage. So your only real choice is whom I call Karate Guy. He doesn't have a projectile weapon at all, instead he uses his fists and kicks to kill enemies. How much power he deals depends on the power meter, the more filled up the meter is, the more damage he deals. This wouldn't be so bad, if he can control well. Karate Guy has a steep learning curve, which normally wouldn't be a problem with me, but the entire game is imbalanced. This is where this game tries to be too "old school", because in a literal sense, many platformers from decades past were practically unfair. Modern gaming has given us the convenience of giving us platformers that are difficult but fair. Blasting Agent: Ultimate Edition isn't one of them. If you land in a pit of lava there is little to no chance you will make it out alive. This game didn't take into account invincibility frames, as enemies can gang up on you and you sit there helplessly. Because of how imbalanced this game was on Hard, the levels were a lot more annoying. Karate Guy has an insane dash that is almost impossible not to trigger (you activate it by double tapping the d pad either left or right), I found it useless because it just got me killed. Level 4 was by far the most aggravating since you have to climb your way up a rocket ship. Triggering the dash is almost bound to kill Karate Guy as you will be literally flying off the screen. The only checkpoints this game has is the doors. Entering a door triggers a checkpoint, once you die you will respawn at the door you came in. Not an issue on Normal, but on Hard I was having to kill a couple enemies then retreat by entering the doors again. The boss of Level 4 was a royal pain in the ass, because of the tactic you have to use to defeat it. With Karate Guy, the bosses are either stupidly easy or ridiculously annoying. Not the worst game I've played, but not a good game. Most people on this website seemed to have forgotten Blasting Agent: Ultimate Edition since this is one of Ratalaikas older games before they decided to crank out piss easy trophy lists with 11 golds that take roughly 30 - 40 minutes to platinum. This is definitely one of the harder games that is actually common in rarity, the only other game with this high of rarity that gave me a rough time was Terminator Salvation. Ain't worth the time playing thru this one. Definitely give this a pass.

Popular Post Isle-of-Miku
"Trophy Addict" Hotline Miami A double edged sword that was. The game was fun for the most time but getting A+ ranks was nothing short of horrible. Shoutouts to the Zack Mask for giving me better combos ? Popular Post TalesofGaming
#51 - Insanity Achieved all other trophies. Ultra Rare - 3.78% This was a really fun platinum to get. I always enjoyed Amnesia: The Dark Descent when it first came out and was excited when it was finally coming to PS4 so I can add it to my collection of trophies! The platinum itself wasn't too difficult, just basically play through the story of each game and make sure to read all notes. Gotta get through hard mode though for that 100%. Already died once and got booted back to the beginning. ?
Popular Post Hannelore_87
#3 and 100%: Shadow of the Tomb Raider Chalice of Torment Earn all Trophies I know that there's a thread here on PSNP literally dedicated to trash this game. This was one of the reasons that made me want to replay it. Maybe I missed something when I played it for the first time and this is actually a bad game? Honestly, I still don't see it. It's definitely nothing groundbreaking, but not every game needs to be. The campaign is decent, short and well-paced, even though there's not much combat. It's much closer to a true Tomb Raider game than the other two games in the reboot trilogy and the tombs (both the main game ones and the DLC ones) are actually amazing and, in my opinion, the best of the three games. After all, it's in this third game that we can say that Lara becomes a true Tomb Raider. Trophy-wise, this game presents us a decent challenge, both in terms of platinum and 100%. For the platinum, you not only need to achieve 100% completion of the main game, but also, to complete the deadly obsession difficulty mode, which I admit I am not a fan of. I don't think there's nothing hard, challenging or hardcore about deadly obsession; it's just annoying, because the game only saves at base camps, so if you miss a jump, during an escape, with everyone shooting at you, or if you get caught by the stupid piranhas, when you have to dive, then you have to replay a 30 minutes section to be able to get there again. For the 100%, the hardest thing you have to do is replay the DLC tombs in score attack and time attack modes and achieve, at least, a bronze score. In general, this isn't too hard, but knowing the tombs well, being quick and efficient is fundamental. I now have the TR reboot trilogy complete on both my accounts, which makes me proud, even though there's nothing too hard about these games, but I think it's still a nice accomplishment. I look forward to new TR adventures in the future, now that the initial story of Lara is complete. Popular Post X_Wizi_X
#174 Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2 Trophy Hunter Unlock all trophies Los 2 changes slightly skin and becomes a little more "open" than the first chapter with everything that comes with it: more collectibles, more loading times and more exploration. Probably too much in a game like this. The negative part in my opinion is that almost every action corresponds to an animation: you change world = animation, go to chupacabra = animation, change scenery = animation. Too much time to skip everything. However, I liked the plot, although as a game in its whole I still prefer Los 1.
