Popular Post LastMinuteSavior
From ComicBook.com: Legendary Batman voice actor Kevin Conroy has passed away. Actor Diane Pershing, who voiced Poison Ivy, shared the heartbreaking news on Facebook: "Very sad news: our beloved voice of Batman, Kevin Conroy, died yesterday. He's been ill for a while but he really put in a lot of time at the cons, to the joy of all of his fans. He will be sorely missed not just by the cast of the series but by his legion of fans all over the world," she wrote. Sad news. His stoic and charismatic performance of Batman is legendary and unmatched. Forever part of my memories. Rest in peace ? IntroPhenom
That stupid In Memoriam bit of the Academy Awards (you know, the same bit that forgot Adam West one year and then Luke Perry the next?) better not forget Kevin Conroy.

Popular Post DrBloodmoney
RIP - a legend, who defined a character. Many have played Batman, but Conroy was Batman.

Popular Post kenseizenkai
To me & all the other kids who grew up watching Batman: The Animated Series, he was the one true Batman. RIP Kevin Conroy (1955-2022)
Popular Post LastMinuteSavior
I've been hopeful for another Batman game from Rocksteady at some point, but I don't know if it will work without Conroy's performance. He brought a lot of gravitas to the character. To anyone wanting to remember Mr Conroy's legacy, Ryan Arey made a great tribute video a couple months ago:

Popular Post Sylvanticore
This sucks, this sucks big time, as silly as this sounds I think all my gaming plans for this month are going out the window and in honor of him I'm finishing Arkham City and Arkham Knight.

wafflestomper810
I was very sad to hear this. A shame we won't get to hear our Batman anymore. He always played so well with Mark Hamil's Joker.

The best way to honor an artist's memory is to enjoy their work. It's sad that he won't be able to do more things for us, but it's beautiful that he leaves so much for us to remember and for others to discover.
Popular Post Xillynoc
Regardless of my feelings on Batman and the Arkham games, Kevin was always, always the best part of any story he took part in. Just this Pride Month he penned a story explaining his own past in relation to the Dark Knight (more specifically, how he ended up "finding the voice" for Batman), and the ending will forever hit me like a ton of bricks. Rest in peace, sir, you've more than earned it.

EDGES
his work will always remain legendary, while he's ONE of the best Batman voices for me, not the only one, he will be greatly missed he did an amazing job in the Arkham games, they wouldn't be as good without his performance

Phlegeth
This one stings. I grew up with Batman TAS, Justice League, Unlimited, all of that. It was my introduction to DC. When reading the comics, it's his voice I hear. What a legend.
No longer here
Big part of my childhood, legendary figure. Thank you for the memories R.I.P Kevin Conroy
LastMinuteSavior
This is one of my favorite Batman moments ever... ... and it has a lot to do with the way Kevin Conroy portrayed Batman. He never needed to be overly aggressive to be a total badass. Most of the time he's intimidating just by showing the control he has over himself and his surroundings.
