Popular Post Darghel
#108 Borderland Defender (Borderlands: Game of the Year Edition - ps4) Difficulty: Mostly long but not hard - DLC is another story Time to Complete: Around 30-40 hours I think + another 40-50 for the remainder of dlc Recommended: Yes for the main game, not sure for the DLC Total Score: 8/10 (main game) After getting the platinum for the ps3 version I decided to get back on this one: overall it's a better, more fluid version with some QoL changes (minimap, ammo/money auto pick up, and of course better framerate) and pretty much the same gameplay, but with all DLC included. I have fond memories of this game so I was happy to play it again, plus I'm currently doing some of the DLC to see if I can 100% it, Honestly, my only issue is that the game can be unbalanced at times, elemental weapons seem to be the way to win every fight (even if your non-elemental weapon is strong, it doesn't seem to do as much as, say, a fire weapon or an acidic weapon, which leave a do) and a LOT of weapons are flat out crap. Also, I decided to play Hunter this time around (i normally play soldier) and the game thought I was playing soldier as it kept giving me legendary shotguns and rifles but barely anything else. Even had a legendary rocket launcher a few times! PS: I also replayed my old soldier from the ps3 version thanks to import, and I only found sniper rifles and repeater pistol. Damn this game hates me. But to be honest, it's a fun game, it's not as polished as the second or third game but it is playable. i just think it's obsolete now and there's better. But you can give it a shot and see how it is. To me this game is fantastic and I'm happy to have its platinum again! Edit: I'm adding the dlc now since I recently finished them, so I'm editing this a little. Spoiler Zombie Island of Dr. Ned Difficulty: Besides the last trophy, it's fairly good and there's nothing too hard. Time to Complete: 10 or 15 hours I think Recommended: Yes Total Score: 8/10 The first and probably one of the best DLC of the game: the story is short but fun, the new zombie enemies are a nice spin, and even though you revisit old haven it's still quite enjoyable and quite a lot of fun. Definitely a good deal! Your main problem might be the last trophy, which requires to grind a lot of brains, and even if you can grab brains out of zombies they do NOT retroactively increase the counter, which means that you shouldn't bother getting brains until you get the quest. Other than that, it's a great DLC, the second best I would say! Max Moxxi Underdome Riot Difficulty: The most unbalanced thing you'll ever play in this game Time to Complete: more than 20, possibly 30 Recommended: NO! Total Score: 0/10 To say this dlc is bad would be an understatement: I knew this dlc wasn't great (heck I never did it on pc either) but dear Lord this dlc is WORSE than I thought it could be and only because of few issues, which really hinders the experience. First of, the dlc is basically an Arena dlc, which is very common as it's easy to make and there's lot of recycling. You have 3 arenas to play in (hell-burbia, angelic ruins and the gully) and this is the first dlc that grants you an extra 1-2 skill points (play 1 and 2) if you finish the quest, which involves doing the 3 small arena challenges. The small challenges involves you doing 5 rounds in each arena, with each round having 5 waves, for a total of 25 fights and which will take you at least an hour...but wait there's more, because completing the 3 small challenges only gives you one trophy...the other 4 are all about doing the larger challenges! What are the larger challenges? well, only a whooping 20 rounds, which means 100 fights, with more modifiers that will screw your die...and you gotta do it thrice! I'm not going to beat around the bush: the main issue are the modifiers, which will constantly give you negative effects (and good ones will fade away quickly) while the 20 rounds is simply too much. From maybe 1 hour of waste now it's over 3-4 of monotonous shooting that would be boring if the game didn't constantly make it frustrating by adding those modifiers. Some of the worst combinations possible happened to me, such as "rocket launcher + headshot only + worser aim + no shields" and more. If only it had less rounds (10 would be already too much) and more balancing on the modifiers (instead of lowering all damage, make the weapon have a boost instead, and the naked modifier should give you a boost in hp rather than a slow regen, and more) So bottom line, if you can avoid this dlc, AVOID IT AT ALL COSTS. Or if you want it make sure to get some help, use some mods, just do whatever you must to make it easy. This is the only mode I would say "go crazy on modding" because this dlc doesn't deserve your attention. At all. The Secret Armory of General Knoxx Difficulty: Fairly decent except for Crawmerax Time to Complete: Around 15+ hours Recommended: Yes Total Score: 9/10 I think this is the best dlc of the bunch, despite some flaws here and there: it adds more stuff, more weapons (pearlescent types) a raid boss, new vehicles and quite a lot of new enemies too, including variations of the crimson lance soldiers. I honestly don't know what to say because the dlc is really great, although my main issue is how there's a lot of driving and all DLC have the same issue, which is "no teleport in other areas". Too bad it doesn't add skill points. Other than that, your main issue here is Crawmerax: he's your big boss here and he's meant to be done in a group, but it's definitely soloable if you got the right weapon AND class (I did it with Mordecai, but also Lilith is possible, while not sure about brick and roland). It took me a few dozen tries before I got him down and after that it's all smooth sailing, including the trophies. Claptrap's New Robot Revolution Difficulty: Not hard but grindy, and fairly disappointing Time to Complete: Around 10 hours Recommended: Yes, but only because it's not Underdome Total Score: 6/10 I would consider this the worst dlc of the bunch if Underdome wasn't there, so I'm not going to say much except that this DLC is essentially full recycle bin: it recycles every boss from the other DLC, all enemies from the game, and adds the "trap" spin on them to make them robotic, which is nice and dandy but it becomes tiring soon and really loses its charm in a few minutes. There is a new enemy called the Hyperion badass or something but he's essentially a crimson lance recycle with a new coat of paint on it. But I will say that at least they tried to make all enemies new with the "trap" spin, unlike Underdome that does nothing with it. But recycling aside, what makes this dlc bad is mostly the grind...and that's a shame because the dlc is actually pretty big, there are 6 areas to explore, all quite big too, and there's a lot of quests to do...and yet your trophies involve grinding ultra rare item drops that have no real meaning to the story, except "lol it's funny cause claptraps can't eat or have 2 eyes or wear underwear" type of humor. It doesn't help that the drop rate is so abysmally low that it will take you hours to get them done: i finished the tannis quests way before I finished the grind of the other items, that's how bad it was. But sadly, I can't really say it's the worst deal of the bunch when Underdome is there to remind you how bad recycling is done, so while this DLC is not the worst and full of recycle, Underdome still takes the cake for how bad it recycles everything and makes it worse. Plus what makes this dlc better than the others is that it gives you 1-2 extra skill points, so it's really not that bad at least but I would've preferred Knoxx to have the extra points, as it's more deserving. And with that, the DLC edit is done! Edited July 4, 2021 by Darghel Added DLC edit

postofficebuddy
Platinum 162: NFS Shift 2 Unleashed Difficulty: 6/10 Enjoyment: 6/10 A word to the wise, turn off damage when you do the endurance races. Who’s bright idea was it to have endurance races in a game that doesn’t give you the option to pit? I forgot to turn it off for the first 2 that I did and both races were total shit shows that I barely managed to podium in. If I had gotten passed in the last turn of a 40 minute race I think I would have had an aneurysm. Outside of that this was a decently enjoyable racing game. Generally speaking mastering all racing lines and corners isn’t too hard as long as you use a slow car, although there are a few glitchy corners that you’ll probably have to do several times before they register. If you want to go for the plat make sure to do the online first, the servers are only up for a couple more months. Unfortunately if you haven’t bought the dlc the 100% is no longer possible.

Popular Post Viscera1900
#303 - Final Fantasy VII Remake (PS5) Master of Fate "Earn all FINAL FANTASY VII REMAKE trophies." Enjoyment: 10/10 Difficulty: 4/10 100% Completion time: 18 hours (in game) / 5 days, 23 hours Well... I decided to autopop this platinum bad boy and also went for 100% trophy list completion by playing Yuffie's DLC / INTERmission, so most stats above are for that. I really enjoyed INTERmission DLC and experiencing a brand new story for Compilation of Final Fantasy VII. After completing INTERmission story; it was weird to jump back to Cloud, Tifa, Aerith and Barret as playable characters, since you can only get "Corrupter of the Immaculate" trophy with the main story's characters and I have to say that those new extra super bosses were fairly challenging. The gameplay is smooth as fudge with performance mode and load times are almost non existence.

Popular Post DamagingRob
#524- Far Cry 5 We Always Had Faith In You Obtain all the Trophies. Well, this one was... interesting. Overall, I'd say I enjoyed it and hope to have a decent time with the DLCs. But it had its share of issues and not so fun trophies.. Spoiler And a totally bonkers ending. It has bugs still years after release. Most notably, during the first "boss fight." The boss would keep flying his plane out of bounds, and you would get yours reset if you flew too far following after him. Then there's the chance he'll crash into you, and your plane blows up.. Don't ask why I know this. Then I killed him, got a loading screen, and it reset the mission. And spawned me on the ground without a plane. So I had to fast travel to a plane, fly back up, and take him out again. All this with horrible flight controls. Game got much better after that, since I never had to fly another plane. But other small bugs appeared throughout. Then there was so much fishing and hunting, which felt like an absolute chore. I'd sometimes have to catch dozens of fish, to beat the record. And I now know what it feels to be Elmer Fudd, after trying to find a hare in this game. Followed by the stupid distract enemies with rocks trophy. Then came the online, which was more unexpectedness. Lol. Spent a couple of hours throwing shovels at each other for the wins. But otherwise, pretty easy and straight forward. But yeah, the campaign was fairly fun. Just a lot of what came after... wasn't. :/ Still better than FC2, though. Popular Post JoaLoft
#262 - Metro Exodus (PS5) This is not an autopop as you'd like to believe, which I did not complain about. Metro Exodus is one of the most atmospheric post-apocalypse games that released on the previous generation of consoles. So to try this again with a full PS5 upgrade, including adaptive triggers, got me excited. Metro Exodus is a semi-linear post-apocalyptic singleplayer first person shooter, where you take on the role again of Artyom, a Spartan Ranger of The Order which is a group consisting of elite soldiers who help the innocent, battle thugs, bandits and monsters, and help protect what's left of society living in the metro tunnels of Moscow. In this third entry, Artyom picks up a signal from outside the city, believing that Moscow is not the only city that survived the nuclear war. Circumstances force him and his Spartan brethren to commandeer a locomotive and travel across the vastness of Russia to find the signal and locate a place where they can live free of radiation and monsters. Everything feels so atmospheric as I mentioned before: it is a shooter at heart, but you'll always need to manage your gear as well. Flashlight batteries need to be (easily) recharged, weapons can get dirty and jam and need to be cleaned, a pneumatic gun needs to be pumped regularly to maintain the lethality of your shots, you need to wipe your gas mask when it's dirty,, repair it if it gets damaged and change filters when they get dirty. You collect resources throughout your journey, collect suit and weapon upgrades, you can craft on the fly with your backpack or at workbenches for more extensive tinkering, there's a day-and-night cycle which has an impact on enemy positions, and so on. It really sucks you into its world and asks you to immerse yourself in its environments and events. Because actions have consequences as well: how you approach and handle situations throughout the journey will have an impact on which ending you'll receive at the end, one being good and one being bad. Visually, it's a looker. Even more so now with the PS5 upgrade. Same goes for the audio design, it all helps - again - to immerse yourself completely. And exploring its environments is a treat, especially those damn underground areas where big spiders and other mutants have claimed concrete ruins as their homes. The underground satellite center at the Caspian Sea is one of my absolute favorite areas in the whole game. Tension and atmosphere through and through. The only thing that always feels a bit off in the Metro games is parts of voice acting and shoddy script writing. Some of the lines simply fall flat, making it for the voice cast really difficult to nail those lines, especially if their intonation misses the mark. Aside from that: still an amazing game, and I am very much anticipating the fourth entry which seems to already be underway if we're to believe Russian author Dmitry Glukhovsky, who wrote the books. In my humble opinion, in terms of post-apocalyptic world immersion, Fallout has dropped the ball so hard in the past years and Metro has consistently been getting those vibes right and growing qualitatively, that Metro has surpassed Fallout in world building with Metro Exodus's release. And when anyone asks me which post-apocalyptic shooter they should play next, I'd always recommend the Metro franchise first. Oh, and there's two cool expansions included too if you get the season pass or purchased the Gold Edition! Most frustrating trophy - ... NONE! If I had to put one trophy here, it would've been the "Hardcore" one, which asks you to finish the game on Ranger Hardcore difficulty, which as you might expect, makes enemies deliver more damage and spot you more easily, reduce the amount of supplies and workbenches out in the field, you get what I mean. There is an exploit apparently to bypass almost the entire game and make it pop without putting in any effort, but I prefer nailing my difficulty trophies legitimately and not bending the knee to a glitch like some desperately thirsty thot. Why did I not add this trophy then? Simple: playing through it for the second time on Ranger Hardcore, after you first run on Normal, does not only give you the New Game Plus option to use all your acquired weapons and suit upgrades, but also helps you to understand all the upcoming battles. You'll know which ones are hardest, when to invest your supplies best, which encounters to rush through to force a checkpoint and make enemy forces despawn, and so on. So, as it stands: Ranger Hardcore is not *that* hardcore. It is very much manageable if you keep your cool, prepare yourself appropriately for the layout of the areas and play on New Game Plus. What else can you expect from the list? "Kill x amount of monsters", "kill x amount of human enemies", "make a kill with each available weapon", "get the good ending", "get the bad ending", "find all the collectibles", ... the usual. Nothing out of the ordinary. Great game, with a tolerable trophy list!

Popular Post No longer here
#126 - Ratchet and Clank: A Crack in Time (PS3) 9/10 Fun 3/10 Difficulty PSNP Rarity: 20.71% PSN Rarity: 3.9% This was the first time I played this game and absolutely loved it. The story and the overall effort in this is great. I played the original trilogy on PS2 and I consider this game one of the better ones for sure, Top 3 I'll say. This is also the first time I got back into this series and I loved what the game had to offer, felt like coming back home. #127 - Ratchet and Clank: Into the Nexus (PS3) 8.5/10 Fun 3/10 Difficulty PSNP Rarity: 31.10% PSN Rarity; 6.8% This game concludes the Future series and imo it was still a fun game. The game is meant to be short but still it remained true to the series and had some of the better arsenals in the series. The quality is a little lesser than Crack in Time, but if you're a R&C fan, this game would still appeal to you and is still fun. Trophies are fun and the rarity is higher because it is also a short game. I recommend this game fully and is worthy to be added to my collection! #128 - Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart (PS5) Fun: 10/10 Difficulty 3/10 (hardest difficulty) PSNP Rarity: 56.43% PSN Rarity: 14.8% Alright let me just say this game was insanely fun and smooth which brought me into more immersion. This game is top notch in gameplay, warm felt story, and stayed true to a lot of things R&C fans love. Yes the game may appeal to more kids than usual, but the core and heart of it should appeal to everyone. Playing on the hardest difficulty made it an intense and fun experience for me! Definitely one of my favorite PS5 exclusives along with Returnal and Demons's Souls. The trophies rarity on this game is also insane! Yes the game is easy and the trophies are too, but this game has to be the easiest of them all because solely of no collectible and difficulty trophies. But man, nearly 15% of ALL players have it, and it will go up for sure, but that makes me glad many people are going to partake in the platinum because the experience is worthwhile. For me I wasn't affected by this, I enjoyed the game regardless and even 100% too and finished a NEW GAME + as well. Overall this game had me excited for a while after playing the PS3 Games. Conclusion: It was a blast to play the PS3 ones for the first time and reliving my childhood. This led up to Rift Apart, and blew my mind on how flawless the game ran and played. Yes these game are quite easy platinums, but they are great games and many enjoyed them, you should play it for the quality of the game not the trophies and for sure they are worth having for the collection. If I ever get to play the OG Trilogy again, then Ill get the plats for sure cause they are amazing. But for now, my R&C journey comes to an end or a hiatus lol! Thanks for coming to my TED talk.

Popular Post Pieroluc
Platinum #27: 11-11: Memories Retold Difficulty: 3/10 (Technically the largest difficulty is searching for collectibles, so using a guide like I did certainly helps) Time: 12-15 hours Fun: 8.5/10 Notes: Overall this is a very enjoyable narrative game about the first world war. You play as 3 characters throughout the story, whom have found themselves intertwined into the war for varying reasons. You have Harry, a Canadian Photographer whom was sent by Major Barrett to take pictures of what was happening on the frontlines and during the story befriend a Pigeon. A German father called Kurt searching for his son, a soldier named Max. And Lotty, a cat which befriends Kurt. You get to choose what the characters say, which frequently does not affect trophies, except it certainly does at the ending, with 7-8 possible endings based on what the characters say and do based on your inputs. 100% Get all trophies 11-11: Memories Retold
Popular Post MidnightDragon
#70 Afrika In this very rare PS3 game, you go on a photo safari in Africa. It's pretty fun and relaxing for the most part. I read that the animals could be a bit tricky to find. Aside from the leopard tortoise, I had no issues. Still, be sure to take pictures of any new animal you see. It'll save you a lot of time later. Some don't appear until later in the game and some don't show up until missions are started. Most pictures can be any quality, but some have specific requirements and meeting them can be a bit frustrating. The game's graphics definitely show their age, but have seen worse. The trophies are mostly straightforward and you'll get 90% just going for all the missions. Other than that, not much more to say. Still a bit bummed that Africa by Toto wasn't the opening theme.
Popular Post Deluziion90
#419 - Borderlands 3[PS5] - 100% + All DLC. Ultimate Vault HunterUnlock all Borderlands® 3 Trophies. All 81 Trophies 29th June 2021 • Completed in 1 week, 2 hours This made me grab the 4th place for fastest achiever on the PS5 version. Fun 9.5/10 Difficulty: 4/10 Total time: ~50hrs estimated. After struggling a lot with Amara on the ps4 version I tried looking up the "strongest" vault hunter for BL3 and many claimed Zane would stomp through this game and people weren't lying. After the first DLC I hit max level which is 72 which was updated on the 24th of June. They also made all yearly events accessable for everyone all year. This made me grab the most sick gun the game has to over for my build: The O.P.Q System. This gun made me go from Mayhem 6 to Mayhem 11 no problem. It took me around 2hrs total to get my build fully min-maxed with all the items I needed and the game was pretty much over for me. I cleared all DLC on maximum difficulty(mayhem 11) without any problems. My goal was to keep playing after the 100% but I feel I completed the game as a whole. Nothing is a challenge anymore and this is a good place to put the game down for me. To add up the game runs incredible on PS5. The game gives you an option 60fps+ray tracing + 4k or 120fps. I choose the 60fps version and damn it looked good even when it's the cartoon looking style. Edited June 29, 2021 by Deluziion90
TheArcadeKid
#220 - No Thing If the Doomer meme was a game, it'd probably be something like this. This is a strange, deceptively simple game that I guess is comparable to an endless runner, in that you move forward automatically and the only real gameplay is about staying on the path. This isn't an endless runner though. It's level-based and linear, and it's actually a pretty fun and addictive challenge. What I like most about it, though, is its style. Throughout the game, there's this kind of robotic narration that comments on various things in each level. It's hard to pin down the actual meaning or intent here, and yet the individual snippets of voiceover are - I hesitate to say this, but bear with me - almost poetic, because you can interpret them in several different ways. This feels like an art game, and the fact that it doesn't actually seem to be trying to be an art game, like so many of them, just makes it more authentic. I'm not saying this game is profound, but it does manage to express the drudgery of office life, which is one of several topics the narration touches on. The platinum can potentially be earned in an hour or two, but chances are you'll be spending much longer on it. Winning requires quick reflexes, muscle memory, and just a bit of luck too, with one level in particular probably the sole reason the platinum rarity is as relatively low as it is (about 17%). This is a very cheap game - £1.19 on UK PSN, if I remember right - and for a price like that, I'd definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a quirky skill-based game. Just don't think the plat is a walk in the park.

I am not too much into the fighting style (like in the first game and in the Batman games). The story is good, the gameplay is what really shines. Being able to zip through NYC feels really good. There weren't a lot of collectibles, and the trophies were pretty easy - there was no trophy that was a hassle except finishing the story on NG+. I did not like the fact that I had to finish the game again for the platinum. It feels like they did it to make it seem like the game is longer even though it's short. I don't think NG+ should be a requirement for a platinum, but that's just my two cents. Overall, the game is quite fun and makes the features of the PS5 shine.
