Popular Post bbaauuiiss97
#879 Eagle Flight Really proud that I finally managed to finish this one as this is now the rarest trophy I own at 0.43% The multiplayer trophies were quite grindy and boosting is required seeing as nobody plays online. However I was fortunate enough to own a VR headset for PC too so I was able to boost them with myself on Steam since the game has cross play cx Some of the challenges in the single player are no joke either, a few of them took quite a bit of attempts to shave off those last couple of deciseconds I needed, but mastering them all was a very rewarding endeavor ^^ Overall it's an amazing game that is a must play for anyone with a VR headset, incredibly immersive and unique experiences like this is only possible with VR ^^
Popular Post ShonenCat
Platinum #84 - Fairy Fencer F: Advent Dark Force Difficulty Rating 4/10 Enjoyment Rating 5/10 Rare - 11.72% So what type of game is Fairy Fencer F? A very mediocre turn based RPG. This is one is from Idea Factory, most well known for the Neptunia franchise. I have played two Neptunia games in the past, and while I do like the characters.. the gameplay was never able to meet my expectations. So I thought I would branch out to see if I can discover something a little better. I must admit the character design drew me in rather quickly, but I would soon enough be stuck into a journey that is more tedious than it is fun. If memory serves me well, you play as Fang, a bounty hunter of sorts who pulls a sword out of the ground who in actuality is Erin the fairy. Fang eventually meets other sword wielders who too have fairies as weapons/partners. Depending on the route you take, you will either resurrect one of two celestial beings in order to save or destroy the world. Yes, typical RPG dribble. How did I even stumble upon this in the first place? I think I was browsing for RPGs one night and found this on a list. Digging deeper, I discovered it’s one of those games that go for high prices online. Perhaps $120+ for an English NTSC copy last I checked? I immediately put it out of my mind. That is until one day I browsed all the offerings on PS Now and found it again. It was just my luck that Sony was offering a $1 for one month special and I instantly bought into it. I told myself that if I was ever going to play this, PS Now was the only way. I ended up platinuming three games from PS Now within that one month time span, so this game in particular only cost about 33 cents to platinum. Much more worth it than $120+ let me tell ya ? It wasn’t the masterpiece I had hoped for, just another grind fest brought to you by Idea Factory. I can’t really offer much helpful advice for it’s all kind of a blur to me now. I think the best I could give you is stay away from this game. It may have some colorful characters, but the gameplay will put you to sleep. Like no joke, I fell asleep at the controller playing this one time ? If you have to play this, make sure to download the free dungeons from the PS Store. They give buttloads of EXP and I highly suggest you use them. The game’s regular dungeons just aren’t that generous, even with the booster swords stabbed into the ground. I’m starting to think Idea Factory’s games just aren’t that great. But knowing me, I’ll likely end up playing another one sometime in the future. Although I’m pretty sure it will be more or less the same experience. Oh well, this one only cost me 33 cents in the end ?
Popular Post Shrooba
Platinum #47 - Titanfall 2Welcome to the 6-4 Titanfall 2 is a game developed by Respawn Entertainment in 2016, and it's a game that holds up very well to this day! One of my friends recommended I get the game, and seeing the gauntlet speedruns reminded me so much of surfing from CS:GO; the wall running looked like such a cool mechanic so I had to get the game. The vibe of the overall story also reminded me of Half-Life 1 with the emphasis on the military, alongside certain cliff locales that you fly over in the second half of the game. The story in question revolves around a recruit named Jack Cooper, who had been an ordinary rifleman sent on a mission to free the Frontier from the IMC, the Interstellar Manufacturing Corporation who are focused on draining worlds of their resources. He had been receiving training by Lastimosa, a veteran "pilot", a rank which allows people to utilize the power of Titans, gigantic human-like mechs that can be controlled manually or can fight alongside you. After being sent on a mission, things go wrong as Lastimosa dies in battle, and uses his dying words to link you as the new pilot to BT-7274 (or BT for short), his Titan ally. After harrowing escapades along the Frontier, Jack and BT infiltrate an IMC HQ and discover from the late Major Anderson's mission that the IMC had been planning to use the "Fold Weapon", a weapon that displaces space and time, to obliterate the planet Harmony, the home of the Militia whom Jack is fighting with. Upon learning that the Fold Weapon is fueled by a power source known as the Ark, the two contact Commander Sarah Briggs and attempt to retrieve it onboard the Draconis, a highly advanced IMC transport vehicle. BT manages to secure the Ark, but after a battle with Viper, a member of the Apex Predators, he's rendered too damaged and the two are captured by the Apex's leader, Blisk. In an unknown location, BT is mortally wounded and Cooper is restrained, and so BT gives up the Ark; not before managing to fend off some of the IMC grunts. In retaliation, Blisk's second in-command, Slone, finishes off BT and storms away. In a turn of events, BT is still somewhat functioning, and in his seemingly last moments, he gives Cooper an emergency kit of weapons, alongside BT's data core. After Cooper escapes his prison, Briggs sends in a new Titan, and Cooper places in BT's core. With this, BT is back and better than ever! He's equipped with a new Legion loadout and the two are ready to finally stop the Fold Weapon from unleashing it's destruction; after a tough battle with Slone (especially on Master difficulty), BT is again mortally damaged, and he chooses to thrust himself into the weapon to stop it's destruction. To save Cooper's life as part of his coded protocol, he throws him to safety and manages to meet up with Briggs and fly to safety. After this epic adventure, Cooper monologues about BT's sacrifice and his rank as a pilot as it cuts to the credits. It's a fantastic story with some great character development from BT and Jack, especially as their trust towards each other grows throughout the game. The game itself also has some fantastic gameplay with a plethora of great weapons. The biggest parts, however, are controlling Titans alongside the wall running. Titans in Titanfall 2 come with a range of loadouts, like the Legion one mentioned earlier; each loadout grants different weapons alongside different defensive capabilities like setting up shields to preserve your HP. I liked the Tone loadout the most since the ability to use lock-on rockets and set up shields was a great offensive and defensive mix. Loadouts in Titanfall 2 also come with special "core" moves which can be unleashed after certain attacks are executed. With the usage of core abilities, you can let out a devastating blow to your opponents, whether it be through physical sword slashes, flying into the air and letting loose a barrage below, aiming fiery projectiles or rockets alike... there's a great assortment and many choices for the player to make in each and every battle. Outside of loadouts through Titan gameplay is the wall running which can be done as a pilot, which leads to fantastic parkour opportunities that allow you to handle each terrain in a unique way. Overall, this is one brilliant game! From an engaging story to some fast-paced action in the gameplay, Titanfall 2 is a wonderful experience and definitely a great recommendation for anyone who likes the FPS genre.Difficulty: 6.5/10 Enjoyment: 10/10
Popular Post jukejointjesibel
#120: SpongeBob SquarePants Battle for Bikini Bottom Rehydrated Time: 2 days Diff: 2/10 Rating: 100000000/10 (best remake ever!) This. This is how you do a remake. Having played the original nearly obsessively prior to seventh grade, and having it beaten it at least forty times, I can safely say I know this game front and back, from the exact layout of the stages, the dialogue, the music... Everything. In this game you're playing as the cheerful sponge and his friends Patrick and Sandy Cheeks to stop a robot invasion spearheaded by the nefarious Plankton, visiting familiar locations around the undersea city of Bikini Bottom, interacting with various characters from the TV show and collecting Golden Spatulas to unlock new areas. It's really nothing more than a SpongeBob-branded collect-a-thon reminiscent of 3D platformers of the early 00s. The graphics just pop, colors vibrant, worlds very faithful to the original while adding a modern touch. Jellyfish Fields boasts grass, Sand Mountain has a grainy texture like sand, each leaf in Kelp Forest has veins and cells. While dismantling the oppressive establishment (the Krusty Krab) for a few collectibles I could even see in the kitchen where SpongeBob makes his world famous Krabby Patties - something I couldn't do in the original. The characters themselves sport impressive graphics as well - Spongebob has a spongy texture, Sandy has real fur on her tail, Gary the snail has a glossy shell. There's not much of a story to be found, you're just exploring locales around Bikini Bottom, smashing Plankton's robots, and collecting Golden Spatulas, socks for Patrick and flower-shaped Shiny Objects to open areas and buy some additional Spatulas from SpongeBob's tightwad boss Mr. Krabs. However, twelve-year-old me never lamented the lack of a story, why should adult me do the same? You face off against giant robot versions of the three playable characters, as well as various bosses from the first three seasons of the show. The voice acting is superb, boasting nearly the original cast, except for Mr. Krabs (to this day I still don't know why), and Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy (both VA are deceased). Though, I'm not sure why, but Mrs. Puff sounds quite stressed and in need of a cigarette (but if I had a student who repeatedly failed his boating exam and put me in the hospital just because he was ready, I would too). This is how you play on someone's nostalgia, hitting all the right notes and crafting the perfect remake. I only hope Nickelodeon learns from this success and does the same with other games of the time (please do Fairly Oddparents Breakin' Da Rules!)

Since FFF was that boring to you then most Compile Heart/Idea Factory games is not for you, maybe Mary Skelter or Death end re;Quest is something but if not no need to try more of CH/IF's games.
Popular Post kRiZz_93
# 135 - Virtues Last Reward (Vita) Difficulty - 3 / 10 Enjoyment - 7 / 10 (A game built around a 'Ally' and 'Betray' system with a murderer mystery that can change between endings, you begin kidnapped around Christmas Eve and wake up inside an elevator forced to solve puzzles in different rooms whilst paired up with other victims. After each successful escape from a room, a set of AB rooms open up and characters I forced to vote in a game that either increases or decreases points allocated to a bracket on your arm, reaching 9 points allows you to leave the facility to freedom. Overall the game was decent, haven't really played many visual novels in my time but the story for this was interesting to unravel. The puzzles in each of the rooms posed enough of a challenge that you really have to think about how you going to overcome it, as you progress further and further into the each branching story path, the rooms get a tad bit harder. My only gripe with this game was how long it was, in total you have 9 character endings / 11 bad endings and 2 endings that occur after the true ending.) Time Taken - 2 Week 6 Days 21 Hours # 136 - Mutant Year Zero: Road To Eden (PS4) Difficulty - 3.5 / 10 Enjoyment - 9 / 10 (Ahh! I'm so glad I finally got around to playing this, it's been sat on my shelf for a good few months. A game set in a post apocalyptic world where everything has gone to hell, wars broken out and destroyed humanity and the only thing that's left is a group of Mutants and bandits / cults. You start off playing as a Dux (Literally a Duck ?) and Bormin a Hog, progressing through the story you have be opportunity to convince a woman called Selma / a Fox named Farrow and rescue Magnus from the Nova Cultists. Each character has their own traits called 'Mutations' which lends to a particular play style, either that be a sniper or a tank etc. There is a bunch of different weapons that can be found throughout the game, normally they are placed quite near a big fight and can be collected from a chest kinda like a mini reward. Overall I would say that it was a great game, it has the combat style of XCOM and the real-time exploration of Divinity Original Sin, which to be honest i'm down for anytime. I thoroughly enjoyed my time playing it and as I had the deluxe copy, I got to try out the Seed of Evil DLC which was pretty decent aswell. So if you like challenging fights and enjoy strategy turn based style games, I would recommend you give it a go! ?) Time Taken - 1 Week 5 Days 4 Mins (One run of the game on normal difficulty and another run on Iron Mutant mode with very hard difficulty set on. There are plenty of guides out there for the perma-death run and explains in detail the fights / areas that can be skipped, I would highly recommend looking at one if and only if you find yourself struggling! Though if you have played other games similar to this, you'll be just fine ?)

Popular Post madbuk
#425 - Need for Speed Hot Pursuit Remastered I remember this game as being pretty easy back on PS3, and I remember really enjoying my time with it. I was expecting this to be equally as enjoyable and just as much of a breeze, and... honestly, either I've become worse as a game or they've done something to the AI, because the racer campaign in this seemed much harder than it used to be. I like that though, the added challenge was actually appreciated and made it even more enjoyable. Playing as a cop, surprisingly, was more fun than being a racer for me, but both campaigns are good and decent in length (78 events for racer, 63 for cop IIRC) so there's plenty of things to do here. The online trophies were pretty easy but they do basically require single player completion to begin with which is a little annoying, but manageable. I can definitely recommend this game to racing fans, it's the best NFS I've played so far, and if it's ever cheap enough I may even do the NA stack of this in the far distant future as well.
Popular Post MrGarland
Platinum #114 Disney Classic Games: Aladdin and The Lion King Difficulty: 2/10 Enjoyment: 8/10 (Aladdin), 6/10 (The Lion King) I wanted to get one last platinum before the end of my summer vacation. Since I still have Code Vein in progress and I don't have any other games I can platinum before that, I decided to do this. I actually achieved this some time ago, but I've been busy lately, so please excuse me when it comes to posting this. There are a couple of things I should mention before I go further. First of all, I never played either of these games before, as I grew up with the PlayStation. Second, I'm aware that this platinum can be done in 30 minutes or so, but I only found this shortly after I purchased it. Since I paid about 15€ from it and the fact that I haven't experienced these before, I decided that I'd do it legit, and that was something I planned to do anyway. Well, for the most part, but more about that later. Onto the games. First, Aladdin. Unlike The Lion King, I never saw this movie as a kid. Instead, I first saw it as a teen when Disney Channel was around (anyone remember that channel). Great movie, though I haven't watched the sequels and the TV series. Then there's the games. There's not much to say about these other than they're pretty good. The only hard part was Jafar and it took me a good while to figure out how to defeat him. Once I did, he wasn't too hard. Other than that, the games offered a good amount of challenge. I also noticed differences between all home console versions I played, but what's with the lack of SNES version? Don't tell it's because of that carpet ride level. The Genesis/Mega Drive version was great, but I wish I could've experienced the SNES version as well. Then we have The Lion King. I just want to say that I love the movie. From the first time seeing it as a kid to this day. Not only that, but it's also my favorite Disney movie. Enough said. As for the game, this could've been great, but there are a couple of things I'm not fond of. First, the attacks. You can jump and slash on enemies, but you also have some kind of a special attack which I really don't know how to use. Not only that, but if you get hit once while the bar is full, you'll lose that. Why? Another thing I didn't like about this are some of the levels. Remember the song I Just Can't Wait To Be King from the movie? Level 2 is based on that, which is nice, but the thing I'm not fond of is the fact that this level has some puzzle solving. The ostrich ride was also a bit annoying because many times I ended up hitting something on the tree, but the part where you must let the monkeys throw you so you can advance is not my thing. The problem is that you need to roar at some of them so they change directions, otherwise you're going in circles. After playing the level for about 15 minutes without getting anywhere, I decided to look at a walkthrough video found in the collection. Even after watching that, I still couldn't figure out the pattern. So... yeah. You can probably guess what I did. I ended up using the in-game cheat code to skip this level and move on. I guess I didn't have that much patience for that level. At least I got all the trophies tied to Aladdin legit, so there's that. The last thing I have to mention is the final battle with Scar. Even with invincibility cheat on, this battle took forever. I don't know if there's a strategy of some kind, but I know the fact that Scar can only be thrown when he gets tired. If you act too early or too late, he grabs you and starts slapping. If that happens, you're pretty much done. Thank God for the rewind feature. It took a while, but eventually he went down. Of course, doing this battle three times wasn't fun, since the difficulty trophies don't stack. Overall, this was a good nostalgic experience, though The Lion King (game) could've been much better. If I played that as a kid, I probably couldn't make much of a progress. For the collection itself, all the videos and artwork galleries were a nice bonus. For my next project, I'm working on a couple of platinums. Code Vein is probably the one I'm going to finish first, but because I'm helping someone farming medals in that game, it's going to take me some time before I get the platinum. Another game I'm working on is Max Payne 3. I got most of the single player trophies done years ago, but never bothered going after the online trophies. Since the server closure was announced, I'm getting those done now. Luckily, I got most of them at the moment. After I get those done, I'll probably finish it once and for all. Finally, there's one other game I'm working on every now then. And that game is Spoiler What can I say about it, it's a charming platforming game that surprised me. Loving every moment of it. Either way, it's going to take time till my next platinum. What game it'll be is unknown. We'll see what happens. Popular Post Viscera1900
#304 - Hitman 3 World of Assassination "Complete all 47 trophies." Enjoyment: 10/10 Difficulty: 4/10 Platinum trophy completion time: 67 hours (in game) / 2 months, 6 days Playing this game reminded me how much I love stealth action games. I decided to replay Season 1 and some of Season 2 maps to get those DLC trophies which is why it took me so long to achieve this platinum trophy. Hitman 3 has some of the best maps/stages of the whole Trilogy. The plot of this game was interesting enough to follow, but main attraction for me is definitely the gameplay and it rocks! Now that the Trilogy is over; I can't wait to see what's in store for Agent 47 in future Hitman games. Trophy wise it encourages you to explore and complete each maps/stages to its fullest; nothing too hard and it's very enjoyable list to complete.

Popular Post Sardavanua
#187 - Planetbase Platinum Trophy Planetbase is a space strategy game where you have to build up your own space colony in different scenarios. While the game is alot of fun it also lacks a good amount of in-depth at the same time and is all in all a rather little short experience. Once you get the hang of the game, which was pretty hard for me because I never understood what I would have to do (despite playing the tutorial), it's such a nice and chill gaming experience to watch your colony grow. Compared to other space building sims like Surviving Mars or Aven Colony this one is quite short, but still definitely worth checking out if you're into that kind of game. Trophy wise this game is a decent challenge, mainly because of the lacking guide material and in general information of in-game stuff in the internet. The trophies themselves aren't really difficult at all though. Especially the Express Dark Colony trophy seems way harder than it actually is. Managed to do it in about 54 days, which is 16 days shorter than the limit. So yeah, there's a lot of space (haha) for mistake. I think if you manage to colonize Class S successfully, the rest of the trophies is going to be a breeze. Popular Post yellowwindow7
Trophy Hunter / Dreams man it's been a while since last time i posted here, though i return with an Ultra rare platinum this time right now this is my new addictive game, i spent hours upon hours sculpting, making character, drawing stuff and trying to recreate my house in 3D, and if i wanted to take a break from all the sculpting and stuff i would just go, play, listen and watch other people works. in fact i didn't even planning to plat the game but nearly 70% of the trophies i got them without even trying too hard, though two trophies have kinda ruin the fun for getting the platinum trophy.. Puppeteer and Music for All Ears. puppeteer ask you to waste a lot's of time animating anything, you don't have to be a creator just put a blank deluxe puppet and record your movement with it until one hour or so have passed. you don't have to sit through an entire hour, as the trophy progress will count all the time you spent and you can turn off your ps4 or ps5 to continue later, some asshole at Mm probably got mad that people way back in LBP 1 and 2 were cheating the time consuming related trophies where everyone just stay idle and go do other stuff to pass the time and so they add a system in Dreams that the timer won't advance unless there's a sign of life from the player by continue pressing the buttons on the controller and not just holding the stick up to run forever, thankfully i created three characters then i build a huge area like a racing course and fill it with blocks and stuff and then i recorded my game play with each one running around and so i'll try to race my previous recorded character and try to outrace it and i need to jump over the blocks just so i had an excuse to press some buttons, this way I killed the time without getting bored. the music for all ears is the worst offender here, you gonna be forced to publish 6 soundtracks online, the trophy guide here said just remix and republish online the same soundtrack of yours extra 5 more time i did a random boring music and publish it 6 times filling my page with it for everyone to see, thank god you can delist the stuff you put online, i'm not good at making music's... why do you force me into it if i wanted the platinum? the last trophy have really pisses me off though, which called Every Tool in the Box, i organized this last trophy so i can have a very cool looking platinum screenshot for once, but this stupid trophy got stuck or something, i did every requirement for it 100% in where i wanted it to pop up and it didn't over and over, the moment i left the cool place for the shot and wen't to one of my ugly mess works that i'm still working on polishing it and did the requirement the trophy popped up messing my screenshot chance. thanks game....... the platinum trophy of Dreams can be a really Hard and Super Easy at the same time, i can see why it's still an ultra rare platinum, and yes you can play it without the motion controls even though i think it's best to be played with motion controls on, the sculpting is a lot easier with the two move controllers option although you can pretty much do everything with the traditional DualShock 4 or Dual Sense. Popular Post Phoenix_argentea
Platinum trophies Nos. 224 & 225! A couple of more Atelier games! Atelier Firis ~The Alchemist and the Mysterious Journey~ DX The Alchemist's Mysterious Journey Second game of the Mysterious trilogy! After the second run, I can confirm that I've mixed feelings about this game. Surely the opening world was a nice (and fun) choice. The time management of this game is quite generous (and it's the only one of this trilogy, except a chapter of the 3rd game, but actually there it seems a "fake time limit"): I reached the final town (with all the 5 letters), decent equipment, and 999 distilled water and I still had something like 80 days.... So I decided to face the exam (and I also made a very good written text: 16/20 right answers! ). But the post game was really boring, especially when you have to trigger all the events of one of the worst party in an Atelier game. Most of these characters were quite boring (especially the mercenary guy, but probably because I don't like these characters), ald also was boring the mass producing Alchemy and the proficiency of every single item. Why do I have to single multiple versions of every item in order to reach the platinum star and the 3 transferrable traits?! The DX version (like the Sophie DX) has all the DLCs (which are costumes, with useful effects) and a couple of new vehicles which you can use in order to explore the world (but I didn't use them). Also, no framerate drops in the foggy areas! And finally, platinum screenshot after I melted the snow in the northern area of the map! Atelier Lydie & Suelle ~The Alchemists and the Mysterious Paintings~ DX The Alchemists and the Mysterious Paintings Platinum milestone No. 225! And final episode of the Mysterious Trilogy! After the boring characters in Firis, in this game (which is my favourite Atelier game) I love everything. The characters (their stories and development), the exploration between the real world and the Mysterious paintings, the soundtrack (which I think is the best among the Mysterious trilogy games), and finally, the Alchemy system, which went back to the one created in Sophie, ignoring the Firis' proficiency, but unfortunately, it didn't take the brilliant colors of Sophie's panels, but now there are the catalysts! Also, this game is very special to me because it was the first platinum that I wrote in this forum three years ago! I decided to set the difficulty to hard (and I also managed to defeat Palmyra and Termina during their first encounter!), then I moved it to very hard (in order to grind Coles and exp in the Despair Painting, using bombs with the "one hit kill" trait), then I went back to normal for all the battles against the two Goddesses. Yes, because you need to defeat them 12 times in order to obtain the trophy The Origin and the Demise. I used Firis' assisted attacks, Lucia's assist mode (which increases the gauges, so you can spam the Combination Arts), Lydie with the Alchemic Star trait (which increases the power of the items), so she can toss a couple of useful bombs (especially the Lightning Crystal, which delays the turn of the enemy. Also I used the Heaven's cleanser and a powerful N/A bomb which deals 3.000 damage), and after a couple of turn the battle is over! Unfortunately Cornelia requires something like 30.000 Coles in order to replenish all of these items! Like the previous games, the DX version has all of the DLCs, but here they are very consistent: the characters Ilmeria and Lucia (and this one is quite useful, because she can support and increase the extra gauge for the combination arts!), more areas in the world (a lake, a mine and a huge area taken back from Firis!) and also more Mysterious Paintings (taken from other Gust games, like Nights of Azure and Blue Reflection! Here you can find useful ingredients with excellent traits!!). Also, there's a new extra painting related to Nelke: unfortunately its story is quite short (a fetch quest + a battle, nothing more ?), but you can explore Nelke's town and two more areas outside (with the Nelke's ost). And finally, platinum screenshot with the Twins' powerful attack!
