Popular Post StrayEidolon
Platinum #111: The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim A few nights ago I obtained this platinum. Glad to have it done before the 10 year anniversary on 11/11. Clocking in at just shy of 160 hours according to Exophase. 2 out of 3 DLCs done. I don't know when I'll take on the Dragonborn DLC but I need a break. Honestly, I thought I'd dread playing this without mods and indeed it did feel terrible to begin with. However, it holds up well enough. Umm, with a few crashes and bugs here and there. Standard for Bethesda Softworks. In playthroughs past, I'd explore the map in its entirety without touching the main quest and put off some of the factions. This meant I would burn out pretty quickly without ever seeing the ending and a lot of story content before that. I've never even seen Windhelm and Solitude until now! So I am thankful for this trophy playthrough as it has forced me to get through the major set-pieces of Skyrim. After all these years feeling like I'm familiar with the land of the Nords, seeing jaw-dropping places like Blackreach, the Soul Cairn and Sovngarde blew my mind. Companions -> Thieves Guild -> College of Winterhold -> Dark Brotherhood -> Dawnguard -> Main Quest -> Civil War The order above is how I went about the chunks of content in the game. No particular reason, it just felt natural to me/my character. I did end up doing extra side quests here and there as I couldn't help myself. The best faction is the Thieves Guild with the Dark Brotherhood being a close second. The worst faction by far is the Bards College. 1 quest, then 3 fetch quests and that's it. Can't even play an instrument afterwards. I put off the Imperials & Stormcloaks civil war until the end because I just do not care for it at all. After seeing the Hall of Valor in the main story, I sped-ran all of the fort battles as fast as I could with a one-hitting Daedric greatsword. (I prefer the edgy Daedric set to the bony dragon sets.) I went Stormcloaks and by the end it felt like regret for some reason. I didn't want to kill Rikke and Tullius. But boy was I glad that was over. Oh speaking of the Daedric set, the Daedric quests were awesome. My character is a Redguard. The same as what I played in Oblivion. I've always liked the look of Redguards the most and their lore is pretty cool too. I thought it'd be interesting if the Last Dragonborn would be from the race that has no connection to Atmora. Anyway, my Redguard was mostly two-handed melee but used a lot of one-handed for the Thieves Guild and Dark Brotherhood. I was close to ending up with a stealth archer quite a few times during my plathrough! She was going to marry Muiri (as she is best girl without mods) but of course the game bugged and she only gives the one same response. (Yes I did both objectives for her.) So she ended up marrying Mjoll the Lioness instead. (I miss Bijin Warmaiden Mjoll *chef's kiss*.) Here's a few other random stuff. Sacrificed some drunk called Cosnach to the Daedric Prince Boethiah. When choosing 1 of 3 potential targets to kill at the beginning of the Dark Brotherhood story, I killed all 3 to parallel the Night Mother killing all 5 of her children for Sithis. Savior's Hide is my favourite armour in the game but I mostly wore Daedric, Linwe, Guildmaster or Jester armour. I like the design of the Silver Sword/Greatsword the most, but I mostly swung Daedric Sword/Greatsword, shot with a Daedric Bow and blasted the spell Incinerate. Whirlwind Sprint is my most used shout. Hmm... I feel like I'm forgetting something but that'll do. Skyrim is a good time. Still not as good as Oblivion. Some day I'll get to Morrowind.

Popular Post its_ArchroniX
#38 Bloodborne 6.3% on Console - 21.43% on PSN All trophies acquired. Hats off! A game that I have started over from the beginning and never finished more than any other game I ever played, until now! I bought and started playing this game back in 2017 but never got past a certain boss until I decided to go for it! After setting my love-hate relationship with the Soulsborne games aside I went for it and finally got past the point where everything I encountered was unknown territory. Rage and sadness became common feelings when fighting bosses for many, many times over but the feeling of finally beating a boss you've been stuck on for hours is something like never before. Funny enough I struggled with bosses the community calls 'easy' and had the easiest time with some of the communities most infuriating bosses (Got Defiled Watchdog on my fourth try, Ebrietas on my second try and Orphan of Kos on my very first try, just to name a few) Bloodborne is one of the very few games I'm going to miss now that I have the platinum + 100% for it. Most of the times I feel relieved when finishing a long game like this but Bloodborne is gorgeous in a lot of ways! and I'm really going to miss it. I have the Dark Souls trilogy still waiting for me in my backlog but I like Bloodborne a lot more, both in style and in combat. Though not my rarest platinum trophy so far it's definitely one I'm very proud of! I recommend everyone to try this game out if they haven't already, though if you hate dying a lot and having to 'adapt and overcome' and 'git gud' I'd say stay far, far away from it. I've had a friend that wanted to play this game with me so we could help each other out with bosses but he quit as soon as he encountered the Cleric Beast and blamed everything on the so called 'clunky controls'. Let's say we're no longer friends in that matter.... Enjoyment: 9/10 Difficulty: 9/10 Edited June 21, 2021 by its_ArchroniX
Popular Post djb5f
Platinum #118: Battlefield Hardline Enjoyment: 9/10 Difficulty 4/10 So this game was a lot more fun than I was expecting. For a game that was released six years ago, it holds up very well. The single player campaign was very enjoyable. The different episodes have a nice variety to them, great set pieces too. Some of the scenes and plot is a little over the top but it can be overlooked. Gameplay is tight, both guns blazing and stealth work, or as I prefer a mix of both. The dialogue can be funny and the characters were well done. Difficulty of single player was surprisingly easy. Even on Hardline difficulty, you can pretty easily get through by going stealth or bypassing entire sections if you really wish. There is some challenge but it never felt like wow, I might have trouble passing this part. I purposely waited several months after my first normal playthrough to do Hardline to keep it fresher. Even on Hardline, it was a much quicker experience as I had already done most of the collectibles and I still remembered key parts of the episodes pretty well. For multiplayer, I did some legit (not that active as expected at this point) and then boosted what I needed for platinum and some miscellaneous DLC content. The maps and game modes were solid. I have no interest (time) in grinding the 100K kills in each class and am perfectly fine with that. With my ample backlog, this game jumped to the front as I needed to get Test Your Mettle before it became unachievable. And I am glad it did! On a side note, it is amazing how cheap gaming is these days (assuming you wait for sales). I got this game for $4.99 and all DLC was given away for free. That is a lot of content for the price of a coffee or whatever. It also explains why my backlog keeps growing. Gaming is a very inexpensive hobby compared to other my endeavors but finding the time needed is always a challenge! Looking forward to giving Battlefield V, I, and maybe 4 a try as I own all from paying rock bottom pricing (or PS Plus in V’s case).
Popular Post Charizarzar
#143 Alice: Madness Returns Enjoyment: 6/10 Difficulty: 4/10 Originally picked this up as part of my panic buying when the PS3 store was announced to be shut. Though I'd heard the name floating around over the years, I didn't know much about the game itself, but I ended up being pleasantly surprised by this genuinely disturbing take on the classic tale, and the voice actress' deadpan delivery actually gave it a ton of personality. The art style reminded me a lot of Bioshock, which also fits with the weird humour. I started off with the DLC, which was the 20-year-old original game that wasn't improved in any way for consoles, and was dreading it based on what people were saying about the dated controls. While it was frustrating in places and I had to abuse the save slots before almost every jump, I ended up really liking it overall, maybe even slightly more than Madness Returns. F*** that Jabberwocky fight though. My fridge is more spacious than that boss fight area. While it was great to jump into the sequel with its massively improved controls, the gameplay still got frustrating in places. Like whenever I exited a keyhole, Alice would constantly veer back into the wall and I'd have to steer the camera away. Thanks to the nightmare difficulty glitch, there was only one troublesome trophy which was for completing this pinball-type minigame in under 6 minutes. It felt like this whole segment relied on luck as the ball would randomly lose all its momentum or the camera would swing to where you couldn't see where you were going. Also, though I liked the story, the first couple of chapters really seemed to drag and didn't have the same imaginative boss and level designs as the first game, and the amount of collectibles didn't help. All that said, this isn't the kind of game I normally go for and it's definitely one that will stick with me for a long time. For all its faults, there was a lot of fun to be had. Though I think it ended in a good place, I'd be interested to see if American McGee(what a name!)'s proposed third game ever gets made and where he'll take the story next.
Popular Post Redgrave
#213: Cycle Everlasting - Oninaki The second game from Tokyo RPG Factory I looked forward to playing since along with I Am Setsuna I heard good things about it. The story was pretty interesting and had an interesting premise. It's basically about a society that deals with death in a more accepting way by basically telling people not to feel sad or anything in regards to the deceased since that will make them linger on as ghosts, and so your character is basically tasked with making sure ghosts move on. However there are times where this takes a pretty dark twist and it left me surprised at points. It was a different but welcomed take over all. The gameplay is more like an action RPG where you switch Daemons to change your playstyle. I have seen others say it is kind of like Diablo with the loot system too, although I don't really know how accurate it is since the only loot you really get is different weapons and things called Shadestones to equip on them, so for me I feel like it's kind of accurate but to say it's like Diablo is a bit of a stretch. I felt like the only Daemon that was good to use was the starting one since to me the rest felt kind of clunky to use and it also probably didn't help that it's at 30fps and there is something of an input delay with a lot of the moves. It feels like they wanted to emphasize changing Daemons to use different playstyles but you really don't have to and so on top of that it felt like they wanted a more complex combat system but really just left something to be desired. As far as the trophies go it's not that bad, mostly just a couple of grinds. Although with the way the combat is I felt like it made the grind a lot more tedious than it needed to be. The worst part is the post-game dungeon which, unless I am forgetting another game, is probably one of the most boring and tedious post-game dungeons I've ever done. It's a 101 floor dungeon where every five floors has a boss fight but getting to five floors can take about 20 or so minutes because in order to go up a floor I believe you have to kill a certain amount of enemies for a portal to open up. Another thing worth mentioning is that there aren't near enough maps and bosses to really justify 101 floors, so it's really just one big slog where you see the same maps dozens and dozens of times and you can't really do anything to make it go faster. I think 50 floors would have been more than enough but 101 was just way too much. So my verdict is the story is good and the gameplay is fine but could have been better, and much like I Am Setsuna I think it's worth checking out since apart from the post-game dungeon the game is enjoyable.
Popular Post eigen-space
Platinum #151 - Just Dance 2021 4.77% Rarity Difficulty - 7/10, Time Spent - ~60 Hours, Enjoyment 9/10 First time owning a Just Dance game (have played friends' copies on occassion before) and it was super fun! I got this game as a way to make myself get up and move around a little bit each day as a form of exercise. Played for about an hour almost every day since mid-April. I honestly started this thinking I'd never get the platinum because Megastarring 40 of the game's 41 base songs just seemed so out of the range of my capabilities. But I bought myself the season pass to get access to all 600+ songs and went for the grindy trophies while dancing to the season pass's songs, completely ignoring the base game for a long time. I have been keeping a Just Dance Diary here and noticed I was getting a lot of Megstars on songs the first time I would play them. I thought that I was just getting them because they were easy songs, but decided to go back to the base game after finishing the grindy trophies to see if I could manage to get some more of the base game songs. Turns out, I was much better than I thought because I kept getting Megastars on the songs; only a handful had to be tried multiple times to a Megastar on. This was the ultimate "get good" game for me. Some Tips: Use the phone app. It seemed to register moves a lot more accurately than the move sticks, and DEFINITELY more accurately than the camera (the camera was HORRIBLE). Keep dancing until the end of the song. Even if you think you messed up, you might surprise yourself with a good score anyway. Also, playing through the entire song gets you used to the dance moves so even if you didn't score well, it helps build your muscle memory for next time. The only reason why this got a 9/10 instead of 10/10 is because sometimes regardless of what motion you're doing, the game will never score your move as a "Perfect" move. Even some motions that seem super easy and shouldn't be that hard to get a "Perfect" on routinely get scored as just "OK", which is infuriating. I might even try to platinum this again once I get my PS5 just to keep my skills fresh for when Just Dance 2022 comes out with BTS's Dynamite ? Popular Post Carol
#216 Coffee Talk Coffee and Chill Get All trophy This game was very enjoyable and it left me full of positive vibes. You play as barista, who is the owner and sole employee of a coffee shop, located in Seattle, in a fantasy version of the real world, where you can find several fantasy races, like elves, orcs and mermaids.Your role is to listen to your clients' problems and serve them drinks, that, hopefully, will make them feel better. Even though the stories that will hear are nothing out of the ordinary, the atmosphere, the music, the brewing the drink minigame and the characters themselves make this game interesting, so I never felt bored. The story is also quite short, so it didn't overtay its welcome and I appreciated that. Trophy-wise, this platinum was easy and fun. I found a very good walkthrough, that guided me straight to the platinum, while still allowing me to enjoy the game. If you like a feel-good, chill out game, then I can recommend "Coffee Talk".

Popular Post Biertje373
Platinum #35 Assassin's Creed Odyssey Epic CycleEarn every trophy. Difficulty: 2.5/10 Fun: 7.5/10 Time: 134 hours So this is my 2nd Assassin's Creed platinum and this one I liked less then Origins, both of them are great but there were things that kinda annoyed me. The positives: The world is absolutely beautiful, be it the water, the weather effects or just the variety of the landscapes, I never expected to go inside a volcano. The bosses were amazing, I had so much fun fighting them, some of them were a challenge. Sailing was something I did not expect to enjoy but I had a lot of fun with it. I liked the characters, some of them were really charming. I had quite a few laughing out loud moments. I like that the romance options weren't locked behind a gender, I kind of made it that my character had romance options with every single character that I could, some multiple times. I liked that there were choices, made the story a bit more personal. My negatives: I am going to start with something I absolutely hated, I couldn't stand the mercs, they were annoying got in the way and sometimes you have to deal with 3 or 4 at once, I seriously hope that they are either gone or fixed in Valhalla. The enemies were damage sponges, that does not add dificulty, it just makes it more tedious. It makes sense with bosses, but no with standard enemies. The people were idiots, they see that you kill someone and they grab whatever's the closest to them to get killed with 1 or 2 hits. While I loved the beauty of the world, I did not care about the size, bigger isn't always better. The cult did not feel that important, sure they had their moments in the story, but less then I hoped. So yeah, while I did have my pro's and cons, I did love this game. I did however during this game have some bad news on this day, so I really hope that I won't remember it for that. But aside from that I really became a fan of the modern Assassin's Creed games, they feel like they were made for me. I did get the season pass when it went on sale so i am 100% going to do that, the question is when, I have a feeling that I'll be busy again soon and with Scarlet Nexus coming out real soon I will probably put this game on the sideline for a while. I am kinda disappointed with the platinum screenshot, but oh well it is what it is:
Popular Post kRiZz_93
# 133 - LEGO Marvel's Avengers (Vita) Difficulty - 2.5 / 10 Enjoyment - 8.5 / 10 (Now i'm not one that plays the LEGO games, don't get me wrong they do have some quirky humor but I just haven't really played many in my time, so I thought why not grabbed some to chillax on in-between some of the more shall we say "stressful" games Overall I definitely enjoyed it, I suppose being a big fan of both Marvel and DC comics back in the day made it a easy purchase! The game is based off the Avengers movies with all the usual LEGO games funny moments and the meme scene with Hulk smashing Loki all over the place and stating his a 'Puny God!' ?) Time Taken - 1 Week 23 Hours 10 Mins (Time to complete was extended than what it could have been, at the time I was bouncing between this and Ghost Recon: Wildlands on PS4 because TC was way too big, so this helped stay chilled out ) # 134 - Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Wildlands (PS4) Difficulty - 2 / 10 Enjoyment - 7 / 10 (It started off decent enough for an open world sandbox, load in to see just how big the map was and starting thinking woah the content value is great...but that soon fades away when you realize that each zone of the map just makes you do the same old repetitive actions. Don't get me wrong I still enjoyed it, though I had to play it in moderation's due to feeling burnt out after a bit, but I would imagine you'll enjoy it more if you was playing with a friend in coop. I do own the DLC's and I will be playing them, but i'm putting it aside for now to experience other games in my backlog Overall it's not bad, I can understand completely why the rarity of the platinum isn't higher. If you play with a buddy then you might have more fun trying to plan out the attacks, at least more then trying to work with A.I that stand outside of the bases whilst your inside! ?) Time Taken - 2 Week 6 Days 5 Hours 34 Mins (Map Completionist took way too long for my liking, though trying to find an active multiplayer lobby wasn't exactly as straight forward as I was hoping either!) Popular Post Sylvanticore
#38: Master of Fate Earn all FINAL FANTASY VII REMAKE trophies. This game... it pained me, hurt me and tortured me and I loved it so much. I loved the original Final Fantasy 7 back in the day when it was first released, it was one of the first games including Lgeacy of Kain: Soul Reaver that made me actually care about stories in games. When the remake was first announced I was shocked and couldn't believe that it was actually happening and then finally last year it was released. Playing through the story I was remembering all of the scenes I saw when I was just a kid playing through it and even as a massive fan of the OG game I still loved the new take on things, the fleshing out of characters, changes in the story and just how awesome and trollish Aerith is to Cloud! but I had to take a break from this game for over a year, hard mode was driving me insane and was just having too many issues with it. Fast forward to this year and I find out that the PS5 would be getting a upgraded version with new content and it made me excited to go back to the game, however hard mode was STILL kicking my ass so I left it alone again, On 24th May I decided to stop putting the game off and reinstalled it and did my best to get through the chapters on hard mode which I finally did and finished 6 days ago then came the final challenge... getting to the Pride and Joy prototype fight was all I did for the last few days as I tried different ways of doing the fights before hand but none worked for me untill today. I was finally able to do the speed run tactic and now I am finally done with everything. For all the pain Hard mode put me through, for all the late nights that Pride and Joy put me through I will still say that Final Fantasy 7 Remake is my favorite PS4 game of all time. I'm just going to add this in here too. #39: Master of Fate Earn all FINAL FANTASY VII REMAKE trophies. While I love the game I don't think I could do that all again any time soon... though I do now plan on doing a fresh playthrough of the story before starting the Yuffie DLC, but that can wait till i've played something else!

Popular Post TheAbyssWalker61
Brainiac Unlock all trophies. I need to say with no jokes, this game has the worst collectibles ever made for getting a platinum trophy, i just hate figments, i can't understand why there are many f*cking little sh*ts of them, you can't see them so much, in Edgar level it's even worst because the contrast of the colors, the punching trophy was the top of stress , i spend 1:30 hour trying to get that trophy and i just use the cheat of pausing the game, sorry but if the trophy it's stupid i'm going to legally use everything to got it because this game has many awful trophies, don't trust in the 3.3% of complete i thought it will be easy for that but it's not... Aside from that frustation the game it's SO AMAZING, the history it's cool i love Raz, Milkman, Dogen, Lily... great characters very colorful with unique style of Tim Schafer and my favorite levels where the Lungfish city, The Milk man level (I love that character really hahaha) and the Napoleon one. It's a great game i'm hope the sequel can be even better because combat it's not so good , if you like platforms play this game sometimes has a dark settling it's not for childs, but the platinum it's not going to be enjoyable that's my warning, Edited June 23, 2021 by TheAbyssWalker61

ASMODAIOS344
Spoiler https://imgur.com/gyyz In the trophies side all can be earned in a single playthrough if don't do a mistake(like me). Now for the game i really like the narrative and all the note that delve in the life and inner thoughts of the inhabitants. The Journal mechanism is something that i want to see in more games. Another thing i notice after found a book ingame and search it and turn out that is really is a story( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marie-Josephte_Corriveau ), is very nice to see developers add elements of their local folklore.
