Popular Post Deadly_Ha_Ha
100% #20-ish - Kingdom Hearts III Re Mind (DLC) Difficulty - 9/10 Enjoyment - 8/10 Ok so the first thing to note is that Kingdom Hearts III was actually my 20th plat and I'm now working on FF7R which is going to be my 30th. But the DLC came out some time ago and it took me a long time to complete it, which I did yesterday. As has been pointed out of the KH3 100%, it went from being the easiest platinum in the series to the hardest 100% in the series instantaneously. Since there's no way of denoting a completed 100% in trophy-terms I just flaunted the hardest trophy in the set here which is the Risk-taker trophy. It requires you to amass a specific number of points which are tied to beating the game's bosses with challenges turned on. It culminates to the single hardest set of boss fights ever seen in a Kingdom Hearts game as far as I'm concerned, and without question one of, if not THE most difficult things I have ever done in a video game. If you had told me a year ago that I'd better be ready to strap in and hunker down for the fight of my life to get the trophies for the DLC in KH3 I'd have laughed, since initially the game was the easiest game in the series, and became the absolute most difficult without question. I'm much relieved to have this 100% done, so you'll all forgive the impropriety of this post. FF7R for my next plat, which will also be a milestone trophy.
Popular Post Yoey_666
#350 - Monster Boy and the Cursed Kingdom So here it is, my next milestone. And what a game this was. I only have superlatives for this game. The soundtrack, the design, the amount of content, puzzles, humour.. what a game. Beautiful.
Popular Post voodoo_eyes
#442 - Harvey's New Eyes A bit of a different point-and-click game. Way more macabre than you'd expect from these games and kind of reminded me of Lenore. Would've preferred it a bit "darker" overall though. Popular Post Deluziion90
Platinum #275 - Final Fantasy 7 Remake Master of Fate Earn all FINAL FANTASY VII REMAKE trophies. Fun: - 9.5/10 Difficulty: - 5/10 (Only 1 trophy related to getting the super boss) Not much to say about this game. It's everything I wanted from this game and I loved every second of it. The first playthrough took me around 38 hours with exploring everything without any guide as I managed to grab it the 4th of April. Second run was on hard and with some help from @Darth_Krid's guide it was actually really easy and doable. Overall a great experience with unfortunately a long wait for the second part. It'll take a few hours to learn the game mechanics and come into the flow for doing good progress in the game. The last trophy was to get 2 pictures to unlock all pictures for the platinum that show up by sheer luck. Needed 1 reload for picture #1 & 2 reloads for picture #2. Popular Post Dauersack
Alien Isolation #47: Alien: Isolation Oh boy, what a ride this was. Alien Isolation is a great horror game that made me jump in my seat dozens of times over the last few days. The atmosphere is fantastic, with amazing lighting effects, terrifying sound effects and impressive looking displays all throughout the campaign. Similar to horror games like Amnesia or Outlast you can't do much to protect yourself from the imposing stalker enemy aside from hiding or trying to run away, at least in the early stages of the game, later in the game you have several methods to deal with the alien, but it still stays highly dangerous. The alien ai is pretty damn impressive and progressively gets more aggressive and creative over the course of the campaign, forcing the player to switch strategies or die repeatedly once the alien has figured him out. I had very few deaths that actually frustrated me, every death was a learning experience for me, every time I survived it was a learning experience for the alien, and the last few encounters were very tense. Aside from the alien there are creepy androids, idiot survivors and disgusting facehuggers to worry about. The weapons and tools provide various methods of dealing with enemies, though stealth and distrating are highly preferable to open confrontation. The games level design is good, a bit higher on the backtracking than I would have liked, but then again the game plays on a big space station so it kinda makes sense, also the game has the common decency to deliver new enemies and other surprises if you revisit a location. For me it probably worked out better that there was backtracking, as my sense of direction is terrible. The games checkpoint saving system had me worried at first, but it turns out the savespots are high enough in number to avoid too much lost progress after each death, sneaking back to reuse savespots after fulfilling a task is risky but quite rewarding, as is scouring the areas for more crafting materials. The game is decently long, long enough to get invested and give the enemy ai enough room to learn, but not so long that it gets tiring, also it has very few scripted jumpscares when compared to most other horror games. Most of the heavier scares get naturally delivered by the game when the alien drops down near you, stalks the room you are in, rushed into your vent or crashes the shooting match you had with some survivors. The more intimidating areas, especially the hive, would have been nervewrecking even without enemies in it. The platinum had pretty standards requirements, nothing unreasonably hard or grindy, and the only annoyance for me were the ID cards that were a pain in the ass to find even with a guide. Thankfully the no death run was doable on a low difficulty level, that would have sucked on hard or nightmare in such a long game with the alien ai being on your ass almost the entire time. It actually made the second playthrough interesting because while the alien obviously was less aggressive and observant throughout most of the game, it was rampaging around in the last two missions and acting different than in my hard playthrough thanks to me using different strategies in both playthroughs. I was still very nervous to get killed by it in the last 2 hours. The only thing I can really complain about with this game, aside from minor nitpicks, is the crappy ending that was probably supposed to sequel bait, but after all these years next to nothing is hinting at an upcoming sequel, so that was a pretty big waste. One day I may find a horror game that does not go out with a crap ending. Well it was a fun break. I used this game to escape another game that is sadly designed far worse, time to return to the slog I guess, but I won't forget all the fun hours I had with Alien Isolation and if there is ever another game like this on the horizon I will definitely play it.
Popular Post SoapMacTavish222
#359 Borderlands 3. I bought this game months ago and just now finally got around to it. I definitely enjoyed it more than the Pre Sequel but in my personal opinion I still prefer 1 and 2. I am not entirely sure why but something just felt really different about this one. It was great to see characters from Tales From The Borderlands in there and of course the return of all the other characters (except Roland and Scooter since.....well they're dead). I did both of the DLCs along with the main game which were fun. Like I said, something just felt off with this one but I don't know what. Towards the end of the game it just felt like a massive chore trying to finish the last of the trophies which I didn't feel that with the other ones except with Moxxi's stupid Underdome from the first one. Anyway it was still a good game and I would recommend it to anyone that enjoys the borderlands series.
stevenanthony88
#27 Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order I started this game, and enjoyed it immensely in the beginning. Great story and acting and showed a lot of promise. Once I got a hold of the mechanics the duels were nice. However, As I got on further I stumbled onto game crashes, bugs and even an area where I just had low res textures. This ruined an otherwise nice experience. I was hoping it was just my copy of the game, but read online that there were plenty of players who faced the same issues as I did. Which is a shame, because the game has some great moments and action.
Popular Post slaaack1
Master of seasons Unlock all trophies for "Seasons after Fall". (#9) Its been a while since I earned my last plat (around 2,5 years, wow) but thats how it is when you get burned out (early) from doing trophies. ? However, because of the recent state of life with corona I got time and some kind of interest in getting a new plat but it had to be something that isnt "a game just for the plat" like Mayo, yet it had to be easy and not that grindy. Had Seasons after Fall in my wishlist for a while and I realized it has an easy trophy list so I got it for 3€ in a sale and went for it. Its an easy platformer besides some minor tasks like that one puzzle with the cicades (?) where you have to do four designs with them or to understand that certain bugs will attach to stuff and explode in winter... still no biggie for skilled puzzle players. The platforming part was as easy as it gets. The design (art and sound) tho was beautiful. I love the game for the fact that you have to listen to a bird for some mins for a trophy, very relaxing and nicely done. Kind of looked like Ori to me but I just watched the trailers for it but never played it so I might be wrong. I like styles like that so 3€ well spent, I guess I would have paid up to 10€ for it aswell but it was on sale sooo... So if you wanna go for a beautiful game with an easy plat go buy that game and support their work (even tho I still dont fully understand the story and it sometimes leaves you without a "what to do now"-thing). Finally I can do Life is Strange: Before the Storm now to be my 10th plat, too bad I already did Life is Strange but it was a blast so something from the Life is Strange universe had to be a milestone for me. The good thing is its another easy, grind-free plat edit: 69 member reputation... nice Edited April 12, 2020 by slaaack1

Popular Post Cave Johnson
Nelke & the Legendary Alchemists: Ateliers of the New World Completed! Obtained all trophies I'm glad that's over. While this is an interesting spin-off, the trophy list is absolutely terrible. There isn't a single trophy for any of the endings. I know it's a spin-off, but an Atelier game not having any ending trophies is just wrong. That aside, the entire list is simply one long grind. Win 5 battles, win 50 battles, win 300 battles, etc. Repeat this pattern for various tasks in the game, and that's the whole list. The platinum is surprisingly common for how much of a grind it is (27.81% at time of writing). The audience for the game is mostly dedicated fans of the series, I'd guess. Despite being a shared list, there are only a little over 2100 tracked owners on this site. Atelier Nelke starts off slow, though it does become more interesting after the tutorial section. Even for those unfamiliar with this type of game (like myself) it's very easy in the beginning. Later on there is much more to manage, making it feel like a chore at times. Perhaps I was taking it too seriously, but at one point I needed two pages of handwritten notes to keep track of everything. Towards the end, however, it becomes easy again thanks to deluxe buildings and super fairies. Because of this, it took well over a month just to finish the story. Oddly enough I ended up playing the game a lot more after that. In a little over a week, I powered through the remaining grind with music as my only real motivation.

Popular Post jorgecarpio91
Platinum #39: No Man´s Sky This is my first platinum in a while (since august of 2019), and all I can say is that is good to be back on hunting trophies. First of, I am glad that I didn´t bought this game at release, and kudos to Hello Games for not abandoning the project. I have had a ton of fun exploring different planets, and I really think the game is fun. During this unusual times (COVID-19), No Man´s Sky is a perfect game to just relax, and explore. Hello Games have added since 2016 like 8 major updates, with no DLC cost, no microtransactions, just giving gamers a better product.
Popular Post sh4d0wzcs
Took a smallish break after the new year and started it with #103 Dragon ball Kakarot This game is a love letter to the fans, it mainly follows the manga so some funny edits that were added in the anime wasn't there ? The combat felt great and reminded me of the good old games, the boss mechanic was a great addition. Flying around I an open world was pretty much all I ever wanted in a Dragon ball game, and I cannot wait for DLC to come. #104 Kill la Kill: IF This game looked like it could've been a pain in the ass but was actually pretty fun. There was a lot of fanservice and the "plot" was good ? FINALLY FINALLY FINALLY #105 The Last of Us Remastered I figured with the sequel comming id see why people hyped the shit out of this game and praised it as the best game of all time.. I can finally see why people hyped it, Why did I put this game off for so damn long? The game is great, the characters are great, the plot is great, the PvP? Ehh pain in the fucking ass at times, but also very addictive. I plan to 100% this eventually, and now that the sequel is delayed I've got plenty of time. #106 One Punch Man: A Hero Nobody Knows If you can get past the shitty world hub of the game that performs like a mobile game, the actual fighting aspect and character customisation was actually pretty fun. Getting to S rank was a grind, but once you got to that getting to level 99 was pretty simple with grinding the last S rank mission that gives you 20k for achieving S rank in battle.
Popular Post Elvick_
Platinum #210 Doom [2016] Thy Flesh Consumed Earn all Trophies Was a bit put off by the fact this had online, but after looking at the main list they weren't that bad. I don't mind that the game won't be 100% since that ship sailed ages ago with Uncharted games. lol, I just don't enjoy competitive modes in games. It's too stressful for me. Luckily I didn't have to do more than two matches to hit level 5 and get my win in a team mode. This was a great game.. Lots of fun, I just wish I didn't have to worry about the rune trophy glitch. "needing" to follow a guide to avoid that happening kind of made the game a bit less fun since I had to stop and start a lot and by the time I got all the runes, I was so close to the end I just didn't want to have to replay anything so did the whole game [sans the first two levels] with the guide. Still, even with the guide the gameplay is fun enough that it doesn't ruin it entirely like it would for a puzzle game or some kind of walking sim/artsy game or an RPG. Great music, graphics/art design are great. The game is just a lot of fun. I'm always late to games it seems. Eternal is out and I'm just playing this one. Oh well. There were a few glitches, I got stuck in the ground a few times. One time sliding around like crazy. And got stuck at a checkpoint where the last enemy didn't appear so I had to start it over and it was in the last areas so it was not fun to have to redo. And for some reason the first challenge in the last chapter didn't work with the BFG, you have to kill two of the devil looking demons with 'one shot'. BFG worked for a previous chapter's "one shot". Not sure why it didn't work with that one. So that was annoying. Glad I finally got around to playing this. I did cheese A Toe into Madness, but doing the out of bounds stuff was a challenge on it's own. I nearly had to start over after getting through the first two battles. I ended up wedged between the wall and a pole out of bounds, a grenade blew me out but almost killed me. Took awhile, but I got through. It's been a few days, so I don't remember the first level too much, but I feel like I might have been able to do it legit with a lot of time and patience. I just don't have that patience honestly. Props to people who did do it legitimately. It'd be a no brainer if I could use my upgrades and weapons, it's just a lot less fun during the beginning of the game in comparison to the later portions. I guess that's the biggest criticism I would have of the game really. Not that it's bad to start, but just that it's not as fun as it gets later.
Supankii
#31: A Beautiful LieEarn all other trophies. Twin Breaker is a fun but not perfect take on the brick breaking genre. I like the concept of adding a story to genre that usually doesn't include one. The biggest problem is how unbalanced the RNG of the power ups are and the slog that it is to get a good rank in later levels without good luck. #32: From the AshesAcquire all trophies Remnant: From the Ashes is a really good take on the "Souls Like" genre. I can't wait for the free Spring update to come so I can play more of this great game, which hopefully adds more trophies. #33: Don't You Have Anything Better to Do?Obtain all other Undertale trophies. I started Undertale 3 years ago when it came to Vita. Finally decided to finish it. The game is a little overhyped but it is still a short but sweet package, and nice to go through if you got nothing to do for a couple hours. Popular Post madbuk
#367 - One Piece: Pirate Warriors 2 A very disappointing follow up to the first game. Every stage is identical, the only variety on offer is in the amount of characters and their various move sets, but a lot of the characters are just straight up bad. Every stage consists of running back and forth across a big map fulfilling objectives, but the game doesn't give you a run button, and the maps are huge (especially during the main campaign. The bonus episodes were fine.) It gets very tedious when every stage plays out the exact same way whereas the first game had a mix of these type of stages and another type focused on linear progression and QTE platforming. Another big annoyance is that you have to sit through multiple boxes of boring dialogue so that the next mission can trigger, so you're just stood there doing absolutely nothing until the game finally decides to let you proceed. From what I hear, most other Warriors games are the same (one of which is even so bad the plat is unobtainable unless you spam save and quit to cancel out the dialogue, because otherwise you cant finish a time trial.) It was still kinda fun once the campaign was over and I started doing the crew episodes - those were the perfect length really for the type of game this is. I do already own One Piece: Pirate Warriors 3, I bought it while playing 1 because I enjoyed that one quite a bit, so I will begin it eventually and hope it's more to my taste than this one ended up being. I certainly have much lower expectations for it now though.
Popular Post ladynadiad
#138 - The Alliance Alive HD Remastered Alliance Alive Really enjoyed this game a lot. It was made by the creator of the Suikoden games and by the same dev as Arc the Lad: Twilight of the Spirits so that was pretty much a must buy for me. It is a remaster of a DS game, so the graphics aren't the prettiest and it lacks voice acting, but the story was good, the characters were interesting and it had everything that I loved about the Suikoden series with some fresh, new ideas brought in. Definitely would recommend this one to anyone who loves turn based JRPGs because it really was a neat and charming little game that is sadly underloved on here with under 500 owners and I was the 25th person on this site to get the plat.

Without going too much into spoilers territory, I really enjoyed the story behind this game. It was special and out of the ordinary. Even the second playthrough for the platinum was interesting since you get to know the characters in a different light and doing different choices was really enjoyable. I still need to play Beyond Two Souls, so that might be my next game in that genre. Recommended!
Popular Post DamagingRob
#445- Yakuza Kiwami KIWAMI Obtained all trophies. KYC Reviews: Day 1 & Final Review. As you can see from those, the game is a lot of fun to play through. But if you intend to Platinum it, good luck.. You'll need it. The gambling games are so tedious, requiring save scumming to get anywhere. And the save points aren't in the gambling places. You have to save outside, run to the building, go in and play the game. Then run back out to save your winnings, or reload the save, and do it all again. Mahjong drove me up a wall this time. Getting Mangans was more annoying this time, for some reason. I must have had horseshoes falling out of my ass when I played Zero, because I don't remember needing 5 Han ever in that game. Then came Haruka's requests.. Beating an expert at pool was a nightmare, and getting 950 on a song wasn't much better. I kinda wanted to tie a boulder around her feet, and toss her overboard in the river. Some of the Climax Battles were a bitch, and it took me almost an entire day to get through them all. I hated the Proving Grounds 8 so much. And Legend difficulty? Well, that was actually pretty easy. Except for a single moment of absolute bullshit. That stupid car chase suuuuuucked. I got to the end so many times, and got killed by the truck driver. And you can't just immediately retry. Have to fight through a bunch of enemies, and skip a bunch of cutscenes. I would advise getting the Patriarch's Driver, and equipping the Calming Towel and Amon's Sunglasses. Makes it so the weapon won't break, and you can just smash through everything in a few minutes. Platinum image: Spoiler I wasn't trying to get Majima in there, but it's fitting.
