Over 3 years. Wasn't hard (if you had a couple other friends) or unenjoyable, though there are quite a few lengthy grinds that are not stackable. Just couldn't wait around 5+ minutes for a match to load and then be in the game for less then two. Even with a full party of 5, game took too long to load. IMO, the wait time killed this game. Game itself is very fun. Edited August 7, 2018 by Matrim_Drasgen

Popular Post TheLastSurvivorD
#87: Dragon Ball: Xenoverse If You Show Me Your Courage Obtained all trophies! My third completed Dragon Ball game, and perhaps the most enjoyable one I've done so far. Even if the platinum did require 665 replays of the same 55 parallel quests and patience with tedious RNG within RNG, mostly everything else about the game was awesome! I loved the experience and appreciated how fun most of it all was. The battles successfully captured the best parts of the fights, and the feel of the show. From the tons of famous skills and moves to use, to the new twist on the various sagas of the show, and to the lovable feature of creating and customizing your original characters with an enormous amount of iconic clothing. You could even level them up, and decide what type of fighter you want them to become. And that doesn't even cover the smaller, but still impressive details it's packed with. The game is a fighter and RPG blend that presents itself as, quite simply, one incredible love letter to the fans of the franchise. And as someone who's watched and paid attention to the series ever since first seeing the Saiyan Saga of the original show, there was plenty to appreciate. There are a few small nitpicks that I have, and features of the game that could've been bettered (AI partners, for example, and how suddenly incompetent they can become). And the game, for certain, could've went without the dreadful repetition of acquiring all of the skills. But luckily, there was enough to prevent it from becoming too much of a hassle. Xenoverse was everything I was truly hoping it would be, and I can't wait to see what the second game is like. If it truly is better than this, then I'll be returning soon enough. Popular Post Inuty
#100 Persona 5 (PS4) Enjoyment: 10/10 Difficulty: 3/10 Time: 170 hours It was a real pleasure to Play this game! I first played it at the release and waited over a year to platinum the game for my 100th platinum The main character is a highschool Student who moved to Tokyo because of his criminal record and Needs to get use to the big City, have a normal Student life, find new friends and enter human cognitions in his free time to Change the hearts of bad People which are using their social position in Society to suppress good citizens. I love it! I love the Story of the game because it uses a lot of all day problems you see in the whole world like sexual harrasment, plagatism, underworld crime and much more. It is just smart how the developer put everything together. I Need to say that this game is really Story intensive. You will have gameplay parts and a lot of big Story parts. If you like the previously Persona games you will definitely love this game. In regard to the gameplay they finally have designed linear dungeons and not random floor dungeons. If you liked random floors you will have a small part in the game called Mementos which stick to the roots, but it is really no bother. With the linear style of the dungeon they could design a better Environment for each of the different Palaces (dungeons) which was really atmospherically as a whole. It´s a good old roundbase RPG with a new look in regards of each menu. There is no menu in the game that Looks the same. You have so called Persona who fight for you. You can fuse Personas together to get new ones or negociate with Personas in battle so they will join your Persona pool. You have different categories of Personas and this is the part were gameplay and Story works out perfectly together. If you strengthen the bound with a classmate or a Person of interest in your free time you can fuse stronger personas of that category. Thats also the reason why everything works perfectly together for me I want to say something about the enviroment of Tokyo. If you were in Japan in real life you will see how good the developers catch the whole japanese Atmosphäre in the game. Shibuya Looks identical like in the game (if they not Change anything since my last visit). The Subway Station and the backstreets are like you Walking through some parts in Tokyo in real life, it just the love they put in every Detail of the game Environment. I would be happy if they would make a Remake of Persona 3 and maybe work on a new Persona 6 for the far future. They should take the time they Need to make a new memorable game like this. I can highly recommend the game to everyone. If you are not sure you can always see or read some Reviews only, because maybe I forgot to mention some parts in this post
Popular Post madbuk
#266 - LEGO Movie: The Videogame I enjoyed this game on the initial playthrough, but going back for every collectible was very tedious, especially since the game liked to bug out and cause you to quit the game entirely and reload because the touchscreen just randomly decides to stop working mid-level. There are 45 levels, unlike the usual 15 most LEGO games have, and you have to do all of them multiple times - once for story, once for collectibles, once for time trials, once for further clean up afterwards if necessary. This really felt like quantity over quality, there was no need to raise the level count so much and none of the levels were particularly interesting either, I also don't like how you can only use 3 red bricks per level, but that's not a huge deal. I still have two more Vita LEGO games to play (and a few more I haven't bought yet) and I hope they go back to the standard 15 level format because the 45 level format of this is just unnecessary tedium with the mission-based format of the Vita games. The console version of this was definitely much better, it was one of the best ones in general imo, which just makes the fact that this is rather mediocre even more disappointing.

Finally started (and completed) this game. I downloaded it together with The Vanishing of Ethan Carter and The Park and Gone Home etc. back in 2016. I don't know why I waited 'till now to start this one. I've read in reviews that there's a slow movement in this game. That's actually an understatement. But when I followed the story I can understand why they did it this way. It's a wonderful creation wich will go lost if you could actually run fast.

Popular Post Baker
.Hack//G.U. Last Recode #190 King of the World Difficulty: 2/10 Enjoyment: 7/10 Total Playtime: 102 Hours Back in the day on PS2 I played a .hack game and I remember I thought it was a very strange game. A couple hours in to the story there was a difficult boss, I could barely beat him but did so in the end and to my surprise I had beaten the game? After that I learned these volumes are merely a part of a full story but you have to pay full price for a volume anyway. Needless to say I didn’t play another .hack game until now. I kind of hoped this G.U. was the one I played on PS2, but it’s not. It’s the successor. Luckily there are movies on the main menu telling the story of the previous game, so now after more than 10 years I finally know that story too. Now on to this game: Some mixed feelings about this, at first the story starts slow but when you reach volume 2 it really picks up. Good story, awesome anime cutscenes! Now the gameplay is where this game falls short. You play in an online game known as The World and you need to log in from some sort of desktop to play the game. You get e-mails to help you with progressing the story. I feel is all you do is: Check e-mail, log into The World, watch cutscene, log out, check e-mail, log in, watch cutscene, dungeon, log out, check e-mail etc... It gets pretty boring at some point and during volume 3 I skipped all cutscenes as I couldn’t take it anymore as there are just way to many. Luckily you can watch all anime movies from the desktop so that’s how I followed the story in the end. This game could be a lot better, but I’m glad I played it.
Desmuria
#93 - Zeus Quest Remastered FINISH THE GAME Finish the game and see its ending. Enjoyment: 5/10 Difficulty: 2/10 Another point-and-click game remastered and it hasn't aged well. The game is buggy and the guide I was using even told me in advance what to do if the game were to mess up, which it did. Besides that, the puzzles aren't too demanding and the story is okay. I didn't enjoy it as much as other point-and-clickers I've played. I got it dirt cheap in the sale, so I shan't complain! #94 - The Long Reach Platnum Get all the trophies Enjoyment: 6/10 Difficulty: 2/10 Yet another point-and-click adventure, which is a slow-burn horror story. If you enjoyed Dead Synchronicity, then you'll probably enjoy this game too. Some parts are frustrating, when the psycho maniac is hunting you down and he randomly spawns in different places. It's a really easy platinum. If you're going to get it, definitely buy it when it's on sale. #95 - Planet of the Eyes Eye of the Storm Collect all other trophies. Enjoyment: 8/10 Difficulty: 2/10 I actually really enjoyed this game. I got it on a whim in the sale and it was really cute and really fun to play. The different obstacles you face aren't at all difficult to the point of frustration, but they do offer a small challenge. Definitely recommend! Thanks to @IBadDriverI for the video guide.
Popular Post GraniteSnake
#65: Final Fantasy XIII-2 Didn’t enjoy this game as much as it’s predecessor, but then again XIII is one of my favourite games of all time. The inclusion of Easy mode was a welcome addition, especially for a newcomer to the series like me. This made the game very approachable and left me with essentially no need for any excessive grinding. The road to the platinum seemed convoluted at first, but it actually proved to be pretty straightforward. I don’t recall any part of the game at all that was a major struggle, yet for me XIII was filled with moments like that. My final play time was around 55 hours. Overall, a relatively easy platinum and a decent sequel. Completing this has given me new hope of finally achieving the XIII , and I’ll be sure to pick up the third game at some point. Popular Post Durandal
My 9th Platinum! I bought and played this edition when it was released a couple of years ago. It is a very good comedy adventure that makes fun of a lot of fantasy games/movies/books out there. But it is also a homage with references to Game of Thrones, Star Wars, WoW, Lord of the Rings and many more, which makes it a real pleasure to play it. Anyway this is a game about three unlikely heroes and one unusual sidekick. Together they fight a great evil and overcome all kinds of difficult situations, but always with winking eye (is this the right expression?). Think of it as the fantasy version of Monkey Island. Oh and it has the best homage to the entire genre I have ever seen, going back to the glorious days of text adventures like Zork 1. I like this game a lot, although the first one is better, it has everything a good comedy adventure needs plus a very good story and really great visuals. What makes this game not as good as the first one is that it sometimes tries to be very serious or even meaningful and that feels a out of place. Not that it shouldn't but it isn't as subtle about it as the first game. And the controls could have been better, of course it is hard to compete with a mouse when it comes to point and click adventures. It is sometimes a pain to navigate a character or make us of the inventory, nothing too bad just a tad annoying. Nevertheless it is a one of the best classical adventure game in recent years and should be a treat for all fans of the genre! I bought it again for my PS4 because I wanted to the platinum trophy, plain and simple. Of course I like playing good games more then once too! I felt that this game deserves a spot on my Trophy Shelf. So I did and had a great time while playing it for the second time. And luckily it's a very pleasant journey, not too easy (looking at you TellTale) but not too hard either. There are a few optional sidequests that can be missed and the attached trophy. These quests cannot be repeated or the corresponding chapter replayed later. So you have to be consistent when you want all the trophies. Fortunately there is a very good trophy guide on this site. Although it would be best to use just the trophy guide and not the walkthrough for obvious reasons. Edited August 7, 2018 by Durandal

Popular Post AJ_Radio
Platinum #154: Ratchet and Clank: Full Frontal Assault (August 7th, 2018) Difficulty: 3/10 Excitement: 7.5/10 Estimated Time to Platinum: 10 - 15 Hours Got a little more enjoyment out of this game than I expected. It is definitely a lot different than the other games in the series. Full Frontal Assault is basically a tower defense game, where you try to maintain your generators from being destroyed. Waves of enemies will come after your base, usually once you fulfilled a certain goal. There are five areas, or planets rather than have a set of goals for you to fulfill. As far as weapons and the general gameplay goes, they're self explanatory if you played any other Ratchet and Clank game. One difference here is in order to obtain weapons you have to get them through weapon pods, which you have to complete a little minigame. Rather silly, but nothing hard. You cannot have all the weapons in the game at once, as you have to pick and choose which weapons you want. The story however is rather piss poor. Ratchet, Clank and Captain Qwark travel together to defend the bases and the planets from invaders. A nerdy, spoiled kid serves as the main antagonist in the game, a former Captain Qwark fan who decides to run things his own way. Nothing really out of the ordinary here, although the humor was rather amusing at times. This game was definitely designed for co-op and it definitely shows with the way you have to defend your base, gather bolts to buy and maintain defenses, and set to fulfill your objectives. Full Frontal Assault is entirely doable solo, and it wasn't too bad. A couple trophies gave me a little trouble, particularly the gold trophy for beating Insomniac times. But nothing too serious, and if you own a Vita you can earn the Hero Academy trophy by yourself as long as you have two accounts to work with. I did the entire game by myself. Full Frontal Assault marks the 8th game in the series I have finished, leaving only All 4 One left. Apart from the two online trophies, it looks as though that is easily doable solo as well. Not as good as most of the other games in the franchise, but a game that is fairly easy to platinum and is fairly short. The Ironmadman trophy is awful. Spent four hours grinding out the miles, three of which I just duck taped my controller to make Ratchet run around in circles.
Popular Post Undead Wolf
#213 - Nioh You Are Nioh Obtained all trophies. I usually like saving the platinum trophy for last, but this just kinda popped without me specifically going for it. I'm still working on getting 100% in all the DLC (it's pretty tough), so I haven't truly finished this game yet. Anyway, this is a fantastic game. You can make comparisons between this and the Soulsborne games, but it's different in so many ways to the point where it feels totally fresh. I love the feudal Japan setting; it's something I haven't experienced very much in games. The loot system can be a little overwhelming at times given how many weapons/armour/accessories you pick up, all with different stats and effects, but I love how deep it is. Your playstyle can be completely different from someone else's which is really cool. I think they went a little overboard with the DLC in this game. I get that they wanted to make it very difficult to give people a reason to beat the game multiple times and get the best gear, but a lot of the late-game encounters feel really unfair at times. For example, in one mission you have to go through a gauntlet, after which the game just chucks three bosses at you all at once... You're pretty much expected to create an OP build and I have no idea how you would do some of this stuff solo. They also made the Sloth magic pretty much useless on the higher difficulties. I agree that it was too powerful in the base game, but it feels like they overcompensated a bit. Despite my frustrations with some of the late-game stuff, I'm still having fun playing it. Looking forward to the sequel.
