We are going for the metacritic of the platform you play the game on. For example if you play the xBox version that has a 68 it counts but if the PS4 version of that same game got a 71 it wouldn't count if you played it on PS4. Games without an rating also don't count for this month.

I finished three games this month that count toward the event.

 

Gravity Rush -- The military is fighting against a Nevi invasion. Kat is fighting against the Nevi apart from the military, but also becomes part of the military in one of the DLC packs.

Super Neptunia RPG -- The Resistance is fighting against Bombyx Mori to be able to produce games that are more graphically complex than 2D games. Neptune and her gang join ranks with the resistance.

Silence -- The first thing that happens in this game, before you even get to control the characters, is a World War 2 air strike on a village. Your main characters run into a bomb shelter.

So i have had a absolutely stinker this month on my PS4, due to me getting hooked back into playing ranked League of Legends with my brother.

I played like 1-2 maps of Star Wars Battlefront - and got 0 trophies..

This game is an Xbox exclusive but I would argue deserves a platinum rank for the time commitment required for the 100%. It took me personally 105 hours and the completion estimate is upwards of 200 hours.

One I'd been avoiding since picking it up from PS+ because I figured it'd be depressing. It is, but not as badly as expected, and the story's well worth it. Really appreciated the historic notes and the collectibles actually having a point, though I would have preferred not having to follow a video guide to find them. Music was great too, especially the booming classicals for the race portions.

The second is what we are looking for.

Any game with a Metacritic score of 70 or lower will count.

Examples: Call of Cthulhu(PS4), Code Vein(PS4), Monster Monpiece (Vita)

There are even worse games than the ones above.

For the hardcore theme anything with a Metacritic sore of 50 or lower will count.

I was able to 100% Spider-Man PS4 which had a faction vs faction crime war dealio. I don’t think it fits the HC requirements.

So I only completed one game in June (made great progress on several though...), Steins; Gate which is arguably on theme for the month. I mean it's VN so there's not much playing, but you're trying to prevent WW3 and a dystopia and you are waging a battle against a secret world domination group in SERN....but I can understand if that doesn't count.

 

If it does, it'd count for Hardcore since your main protagonist is kind of the leader of the resistance. It also counts towards another event #Platwithme.

 

If that doesn't count, I did not get the platinum yet, but I did complete two playthroughs of the criminally under owned Ash of Gods. It's a Banner Saga clone with enough differences to make it interesting. It has great artwork and a good story. The ending seems a bit rushed and the controls are garbage and take some getting used to (very touchy and it's especially hard at first to figure out how to move the guys). Once you figure it out though, it's not bad. Replay value is incredibly high, my two playthroughs were very different stories and I'll need two more playthroughs to get the Plat. If you like TBS, it's worth a buy.

I completed a whack of games this month and none of them had anything to do with war as a central conflict. Notably finished Y's 8: Lacrimosa of Dana, where there is a war going on somewhere else in that world and a few of the NPCs are somewhat involved but it has absolutely nothing to do with the content of the game. Then yesterday I finished a 100%'r just for this thread. Valiant Hearts: The Great War. A little puzzle-platformer following 4 characters through WW1, involved with different sides and full of little historical details and tidbits. Guess it should count for HC and Started this month.

 

Think this would be the best trophy graphic to use for anything.

I just started playing Trillion recently which has a rating of 65. I also have Monster Monpiece, Valkyria Revolution and Call of Cthulhu if I want to play something else. Still got to see if I own anything that will work for HC though...

 

 

Edit: As it turns out the JRPG I stopped playing because it was just pretty bad at the start, Time and Eternity, remains bad and has a 42 on Metacritic, so I have my HC game!
