Popular Post FOOTBALLNUT
#112 Apex Predator Obtain all the Trophies. Platinum on 22nd March 2019 (1 months, 3 weeks, 10 hours) **********My Personal Gaming Enjoyment Experience********** Another "Far Cry" game cross off my list and I have to admit "Primal" is the weakest "Far Cry" series I had played but the brutality gameplay made up the lost cause. Just like every "Far Cry" games everything is just repetitive...er...well...typical "Ubisoft" game buuut I just looove every "Ubisoft" games they had made ...I mean "mostly" but I couldn't keep up with theirs "New" games that releasing every year. Story setting in 10,000 BC is sure different from any others games and not just that they also have some gorgeous and wonderful view when standing on the highest peak in the game but the storyline is a letdown for me, anyway since when "Far Cry" franchise have a great story to begin with. For me the biggest difference is the language spoken by the characters in this game luckily the subtitles is still in English but will get annoyed when I have to keep reading the text on the TV screen.. And some wild animals also don't feel right in that era and not to say the least that all characters is uninteresting except one hilarious one. At least for my personal opinion, the gameplay in "Primal" was pretty extraordinary instead of machine guns or grenade it's club and spear. There is also some others crafting equipment can be use against enemy and there is also predators pet I can called upon if needed but firstly I had to learn the "Tamed" skill and using a bait to seduce them before taming them as my companions. Those pets can be annoying after awhile or maybe due to my playstyle and they can't be sent away so once they bleed out after been taken out by enemy I don't call them back until needed for some side activities that involve "Hold the Line" or :Escort mission". At least I love my trusted Owl doing the dirty jobs for me by scouting ahead and takedown enemy from the sky or throwing all type of ancient man-made-bomb before that I need to learn enough skill points to unlock all those skills. The main mission to side mission feel like the same in every "Far Cry" games, at least there is one interesting quest giver feel like "Hurk" or "Bob" in Far Cry 4", that hand me some hilarious mission that always make me laugh out loud at the end of the mission. At first I thought "Captured all Outposts" trophy glitch on me cause when I check my stats in my home cave it said 14/15 outposts liberated but there is no more outpost can be conquer on the map anymore so I wait until I completed the game before I reset all the outpost, luckily the first outpost I liberated the trophy pop up immediately. I do every mission the game have to offers and collect every collectibles except "Hunter Cache" which is not needed for 100% and it doesn't allow me to pick up anymore component once my resources is full so after I 100% the game my in-game play time is at 54 hours. Anyway instead of armed with modern weapons and shoot anything that is moving in front of me, once in awhile it is nice to be a ultra brutality "Caveman" wielding melee weapon like club or spears while ride a Sabretooth-Tiger. Popular Post DarkSoleride
Plat# 111 Platinum: Completionist Achieved: 01/04/2019 Game: Split/Second I do not really know where to start with this game. I began this game back at the end of February thinking the hardest part was getting the multiplayer trophies which it was not, since i could self-boost the multiplayer with a PlayStation Now subscription and a second account which was really handy that free trail came in use and i have now ended up staying subscribed since it was such a great service. A massive thank you to @ShadowHunter815x for helping me achieve the Blackrock team viral trophies. It would not have been possible without his help and the tips for beating races the information needed was a great help. The hardest trophies in the game for me were the timed race wins. I have lost count how many times i have failed these races until i finally managed to beat it. Practice makes perfect i guess. This game is one of those games that was great but never garnered the audiance needed to make the sequel. I am looking forward to Dangerous Driving now from playing this. I would recommend Split/Second to anybody only thing that put me in a bad mood at times with this game is the trophy list because some of those races are brutal to win. Do not go into this gaming thinking it will be an easy walk in the part with some grinding. No. This game will test your skills and like the title says everything can and will change in a Split/Second. This made me rage so many times. Platinum i agree with the guide writer 7/10 for difficulty for sure. Popular Post pinkrobot_pb
Sniper Elite V2 - PS3 Platinum TrophyWin all other trophies to take your place as the world's greatest sniper. This game was pretty good. The online bit was fun as far as the overwatch missions were concerned. During the hard playthrough the AI can be challenging, with a combination of long range snipers (or tanks) and foot soldiers rushing your position or sneaking up from behind. Some of that could probably be dealt with using a more stealthy approach, but I just like to go in with all guns firing and grenades flying! While playing through it the remaster for PS4 was announced. I do hope they will remove some of the bugs as well and not only update the graphics. Controls were a bit annoying sometimes and a couple of the missions bugged out when I played them in a way that the devs did not intend. I also wonder how the remaster will sit in the new politically correct landscape, all the mentions of "reds" and "krauts" will probably 'need' to be replaced
Popular Post starcrunch061
Back to the plat thread! Plat #330: Spyro the Dragon Gnasty's Demise Collect all Spyro the Dragon Trophies. The trophy tiles in this game are some of the best I've ever seen. Anyway, amazingly, this is my first foray into Spyro, and what a great game! While I can't comment on the original, this game had the feel of a good platformer, but had tight control and great camera throughout. My only gripe was the number of times I was dashing the wrong direction, because I didn't face perfectly forward. But I thoroughly enjoyed my foray into the world of Spyro, and look forward to the sequel.
Popular Post Squirlruler
#63 Secret of Mana - Earn All Trophies So I did not end up enjoying this game. For an "action" RPG there was so much just standing around waiting. When you do go to swing you "Miss" more often than hit. It was incredibly frustrating to be fighting a normal monster and just swing 6,7,8 times to miss every single swing. Since the other chars follow the lead, running through areas meant them getting hit by monsters more often than not, so if you just want to get through an area without killing everything, RIP. It didn't help that you had very little MP in the beginning so healing was very limited, on top of the fact that healing items were limited to 4 in your inventory. 4! Sprinting helped some. Most magic spells are unavoidable and they also lock you in place during the animations. This worked both ways, so you could basically stun lock a boss with magic. Bleh. Grinding out the rare drops was soooo boring. Another issue is that since they changed the way attacking works (from 8 directions to all directions), archers would just fuck your day up. You would just pelted over and over while trying to get to them. This apparently was better in the original game, since you could avoid the arrows with movement, but it was much harder/impossible with the new attack logic. Ok, enough complaining. Lol. Popular Post Stormverse
Final completion time: 104 hours This game was decent, it's very basic and has a lot of grinding for the platinum, pretty much everything you do is a grind in some way from the moment you step out of the prison until you finish the post game, then you got some more grinding to do. The story was alright and it throws in a few random quirky moments which were pretty funny. Edited April 1, 2019 by Stormverse

Popular Post Bumperklever
No it is not an April fools joke #91 The Witness (PS4)PlatinumDate Achieved: 1 April 2019Rarity: Rare (13-14%)Enjoyment: 7.5/10 What to say other then that this game is a puzzle by itself.. I like the simple puzzle mechanics the standard puzzles had, for example. Most notably the tetris, eliminator, diamond (I adored this one) and the color splitting and pairing puzzles These are simple and don't require special positioning. It's just a plain board with puzzle elements! What I didn't like are the 'environmental' puzzles were you need you 'perspective' skills to solve it. These mostly required special positioning to actually solve it. For example: Sun, trees to use as line, jungle sound and filter coloring puzzles I respect these ' perspective puzzles' I like the trees with apples puzzles for example.. But most of these are hard and require a lot of thinking while also moving around due to not having the best place to actually solve. Making them annoying.. I have done the challenge with the newly discovered glitch, were you have unlimited time for the last 2 pillar puzzles. I spend ~2 hours or so before I actually managed to have a decent run and activate the glitch. I had a lot of time left (just ending the first song), but this increased my changes and oh boy I did greatly, because the last pillar is shit. Then again I did these 2 hours with a lot of fun! fast paced and fast thinking with that classical music of HURRY UP!

Popular Post Dauersack
The Forest #27: Platinum Trophy The picture of this platinum sums it up quite well, as it was a goddamn mess. The game itself is pretty good. The atmosphere is fitting, you have a nice crafting system, lots of stuff to explore, different enemy types that keep bothering you in your base, and going through the dark caves or the woods at night is a tense experience. You can play it alone or with friends, either is fine honestly, maybe the survival aspects like getting food and water are too easy. The story is a bit too bare bones, but it makes up with a few very macabre mechanics, like building a big effigy out of the cut off limbs of your humanoid enemies, you know, the few that you did not cook and eat while already wearing armor made out of their relatives bones. All in all the game was a lot of fun to play and was not really hard either. So why is this platinum ultra rare then? Because it is fucking bugged. Several buggy trophies make the process of earning the plat an absolute mess. I had to do the "Spelunker" trophy 3 times for it to pop because it kept bugging out, each attempt was several hours as the caves you have to explore are vast and confusing, especially for someone with my sense of direction. Had to play around with the language settings for it to eventually pop, don't ask me how that worked, it just did and I am still grateful to the random bloke on Reddit who pointed out that some people can't complete the trophy in any language other than english. "Don't save the forest" is notorious for bugging out, others like "Naturopath" have to be done in specific ways that are not mentioned for them to pop, some like eating all mushroom types are needlessly tedious because one of the mushrooms random spawn so rarely that you might spend hours looking for them. The worst of the bunch was, funnily enough, the one called "Trophy Hunter", because not only was it refusing to pop after several attempts, it also suffered from an annoying bug that made it tricky to even complete it in the first place. Just picture this dumb scenario, you have to collect each animal head once and display them as trophies, easy enough, only problem is that the geese are bugged. They only swim around on water or fly in the air, air is impossible to get so you kill them on water, but their collectible heads almost immediately sink through the floor so you can't get them anymore. You have to kill several of these in a row for one head to stay on the ground, and that one needs to be as close to shallow water as possible because if it is near a deeper area it will roll into deep water and you can't carry shit while you are diving. Did I mention that the geese have a tendency to fly away quickly if you get too close? I tried and reloaded this many times before giving up and building a huge wooden construction right below surface level, allowing me to walk on the entirety of the water area like Jesus effing Christ himself, took me around 2 hours to build, and then I still had to try it several times because the geese I killed still almost always had their heads fall right through the wooden construction. In the end, it was a way above average game for me, soured by what I can only describe as a shitty freaking trophy list. Whoever was in charge of designing this list deserves a running kick into his family jewels. Next game on my list is the unforgiving rpg simulator Mount & Blade: Warband, which should take me quite a while to complete because not only is it hard, it is a pretty huge game too and demands me to get several multiplayer trophies on deserted servers.
Popular Post Phoenix_argentea
Platinum No. 112 and 5,000th trophy milestone! Tales of Hearts R Master of Hearts First of all the platinum title: this really suits a Kingdom Hearts game. Then, the characters' names: I thought I was playing a Steven Universe game and not a Tales (Peridot, Amethyst, Chalcedony, Kunzite, Beryl, etc. Seriously, all these minerals?!). Story and combat system are really good and fun, but the cutscenes (skits?) are really hilarious! ? I laughed so much only with the Xillia cutscenes. The dungeon are labyrinths with different puzzles and I really enjoyed them, but sometimes the random fights are annoying, especially when you're studying the movements of pillars or platforms in order to solve them (and only in these cases I used the holy waters). Also the soundtrack is good, but my favourite is the one when you're flying around the world: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m3ujyo1-qEg&list=PLmSG-OgRdCOHDDTbU2VZW7bemQLW6ajQJ&index=19&t=0s I think it was stolen from Pokemon Super Mystery Dungeon, because it has a similar tone of the soundtrack series, but maybe it's me that I found analogies everywhere (as usual). ? The grinding to reach Lv. 200 wasn't boring (actually, I didn't realize I reached the 200, because I was exploring the post-game dungeon in order to obtain the rare drops. I found only the headgears, but I didn't forge the ultimate armors, except for Kohaku because I had a lot of fire stones). Every character is interesting, and while you're following the plot, you discover much more about their past. ? But my favourite are Beryl ? (seriously, have you ever seen a girl fighting with a huge paintbrush?) and Hisui (and all the arguments/punches with Kor ?. And once I unlocked the summer vacation dress I always used it). Third place for Kohaku! And a simple platinum screenshot with the title screen. Not so original, right? But there are two heart crystals!? A final note about the talking animals: there are a lot in the game (and some of them give you the Namcoins collectibles. There is also a pig that gives you a necklace acccessory!) and I found this bird in the Lion Park: Ok, I saw a lot of strange and crazy stuff in video games (I'm looking at you, Tofu mode in Resident Evil 2 ), but this one was missing! Popular Post Carol
#154 I and Me Awaken From The Dream Get all other trophies I won this game in a giveaway, on Twitter (once again, thanks to @knoef_NL and @RatalaikaGames for the generous initiative). I always participate in giveaways, when I see one, namely here on PSNP, but I had never won a single thing, so I was pretty happy, when, this time, my luck finally changed. I made sure to choose a game, that seemed interesting, beautiful and, above all, that would last me more than 15 minutes, while going for the platinum. "I and Me" filled all these criteria. "I and Me" is a beautiful puzzle-platformer, that can be quite hard at times, if you're not very experienced in these types of games. I'm sure I wouldn't have been able to beat some of the levels, without some help. The trophies themselves are easy, but you have to complete everything the game has to offer you, in order to unlock the platinum, which I think is the way to go, like I already had the opportunity to say. In conclusion, if you like to challenge yourself with some puzzles, while enjoying an interesting game, with a beautiful story and beautiful music, "I and Me" is what you're looking for. The platinum image is also very cute.

Popular Post Masamune
Platinum Trophy Unlocked all trophies Difficulty: 4.5/10 Enjoyment: 8.5/10 Playtime: 22:53:22 (2 days, 3 hours, 54 minutes, 29 seconds) Screenshot: Spoiler Who needs 2 playthrough? Not me, I did a single hard run with Vita Chambers disabled & didn't miss a thing! Starting out things were pretty difficult on hard, but once you start getting some of those good upgrades/plasmids/etc, things get worlds easier (things like bee swarms, bots/turrets can make a difference between using 1 health pack or all 5). Hell, a little over half-way through the game I just started using my drill (capable of becoming completely OP with the right tonics) & plasmids, which is funny because I rarely ever used plasmids in the first game. ? Story-wise both the original & 2 are quite good, but I think I like 2's a bit more. Gameplay has its pros/cons though... like some higher level plasmids needing to be charged before using their skills (the only charge skill I bothered with was the one that lets you summon bots), not all weapons can be maxed out (I think there was like 3 or 4 leftover upgrades?), & no backtracking to earlier levels. On the plus side you can increase your cash/ammo cap a bit, the drill is a ton more useful that the previous game's wrench (research & hacking is a lot quicker/easier too), & the tonics aren't separated by category anymore (you can pick any 15 you want to equip). So overall I'd say 2 is my favorite, but the first game isn't that far behind. 11 hours ago, voodoo_eyes said: #353 - Blue Reflection Funny, I was thinking about starting that after I was done with Bioshock 2's DLC.
Popular Post NorbR338055
#28 - The Walking Dead: The Final Season Difficulty: 2/10 Enjoyment: 5/10 It had been a while since I'd played a Telltale game ... I'm usually a fan and I'll miss those games, but this one won't be among my favourites for sure. Still, it's nice to see that story get a proper ending. Speaking of the story itself, I rather enjoyed it, though the episodes were fairly uneven. But on the story alone, I'd probably rate this a 6 or 7 out of 10. Some lengthy moments, in Episode 3 in particular, and some annoying characters, but I liked the setting, and I liked the ending. But there are some negatives. First, the controls, which I found abysmal in this game. The whole stun/kill thing for the walkers got on my nerves so many times, appearing for a fraction of a second if it appeared at all, and then you end up stunning or killing the wrong guy anyway. The reticle looks like it's moving in molasses, though that's nothing new, but still annoying. And overall every time you get the controls as the player, everything is just so freaking slow ... And then there's the trophies. I get that they want to move away from the easy, "just play and you'll get them all" trophies, and I have no problem with that. Some of the "skill-based" trophies (quotes because there's not much skill required) are fine. But I really dislike the mutually exclusive trophies that force you to replay parts of some episodes, particularly since there's no chapter select. Being forced to juggle save files was not the fun I'm looking for in a game like this. So overall, a really mixed bag. Not the most glorious ending for this series, but I'm still glad it gets an ending at all.
Popular Post Elvick_
Platinum #171 Castaway Paradise Got all trophies Got all trophies Another great platinum title. While the icon isn't inventive, it's at least a cute image! Game is basically a mediocre, more glitchy, Animal Crossing. I liked it more when I started, but quickly got annoyed by how finicky it is. It's harder to plow land, water crops, and even harvest the tress at times than it should be. I had to cut a tree down just because it wouldn't let me grab the fruit off of it where it was. And even when it does work your character had to move around the tree to a specific spot for some reason just to shake the tree to get the fruit... why can't you do it anywhere? Odd. And there's just a lot of weird design choices. When you're going to plant flowers for instance, if you dig multiple holes at once, and pre-bought the seeds... when you enter the 'build' mode it shifts the camera (even though the game itself has a static camera otherwise) and you just use a cursor to plant. Almost like they knew it was finicky for your character to select things. : / Anyway, when you're in that build phase and planting a seed the actual seeds move around in the inventory because the inventory is filled up with automatic shop options. In theory that's handy, in practice it's highly annoying. Because what you want moves around and there's so many things in the inventory that you can't find it. This isn't an issue, at least as as I can tell, if the holes are right by each other. So if you aren't going for anything pretty, then it's fine. If it's all just lines of whatever for practical purpose then it's a nonissue so long as you don't accidentally move the cursor off the line of holes. It's just super weird. The townspeople are very talkative. It's amusing dialog, but they drag on so long that eventually I just got tired of reading what they were saying. This is coming from a person who warped all around the world in World of Final Fantasy to talk to every NPC after every major event to get new dialog from all the townspeople around the world... each about a line of voiced dialog worth. So it's saying something if I end up dropping reading that kind of thing. The music was repetitive from what I remember, it didn't take long for me to mute it and replace it with my own music anyway. I dislike the bright colors used. I think it makes the game uglier personally. Especially with how boxy everything is designed. Just not a huge fan of the art design in this one. The game kept showing little clocks and water droplets on trees after about an hour after starting the game for the first time. The icons glitched and stayed there even when they didn't need to be watered or were harvestable. It was mildly irritating. The house customization was a little limited, especially due to how the camera works in the game. It's hard to even put things in some spots due to how the camera is set up. I wish they had just let you move your camera around. I don't think AC has that, but there's no reason not to improve things. (though the last one I played was City Folk years ago on the Wii). I think the biggest issue I had was the user interface. The menus were really cumbersome to go through. You can access the shops at all time to buy things via the menu (making the actual shop characters useless as they don't sell things you can't just buy at all times; so you only talk to them for quests you get from OTHER characters). There were multiple tiles that contained the same things and it was hard to find what you were looking for. It took me a good few minutes to find some flooring tiles. It's not ideal. It's hard to really explain the issues with it since I've been playing minimally for a few days now and not doing a whole lot of menu stuff anymore. Overall it's okay. It did scratch the itch for something AC-like on PlayStation. I wish a more polished, and full game would come out though. The islands put together don't make up for the most interesting area to explore or decorate. But alas. To the game's credit there seems to be a lot of seasonal and holiday items. Just during my time playing it started with St. Patrick's day... then moved over to winter. Then to fall. Now it's Easter. And the buildings and little arches around the islands get decorated for the holidays which I thought was a cute touch. It's just there's so much stuff, and your maxed size house is so small. And it's limited in how you can decorate. You can't hang a picture over something against the wall for example since the wall items take the floor tiles to hang... but you can place things on tables and even the top of the piano (found nothing that wouldn't look stupid there though) And, while farming the last shell I needed I unlocked a pack of Awesomenauts heads to wear. Which I used for the remaining time farming and to pop the plat. Oh before I forget, the daily missions were glitched af. They would change almost every 30-40 minutes or so. So you could never do them all. Even though they're DAILY missions... I don't know what that's about, but I quickly stopped bothering with them due to that. Especially when they involved catching a specific bug which is totally based on RNG. You wouldn't get anything that great from them anyway, you got these specific daily points which would reset at some point (not daily...) and you'd use that toward buying items or badges [only way to get those; thank goodness there was no trophy for that]. But the total number of daily points never totaled the most expensive reward... so maybe they just poorly described the missions and how they work. But there was a timer under them... I don't know. *shrug* Edited April 2, 2019 by Elvick_
