Popular Post Baker
Platinum #213+100% Hyper Light Drifter Difficulty: 6/10 Enjoyment: 6/10 Total playtime: 100+ hours 100+ hours for a game that you can beat within 3-4 hours. Ugh! That sums up my feelings about this game. The game itself is pretty good, it’s a hack n slash/shooter indie game. I usually enjoy such games but the extreme amount of collectibles in this game killed all the fun for me. I’ve spent days looking for the last 2 collectibles I was missing, going through the entire world at least 5 times searching for them. You also have the Eternal Dash trophy which was quite annoying, tapping x 800 times in a small area. Ugh! Hardest trophy for me was beating New Game Plus, as you only have 2 health and most enemies and all bosses deal 2 damage so it’s basically a 1-hit death mode. Forgot to mention the sometimes terrible framerate drops, which almost always leads to another death. This game could have been so much better. Deleted it and I’ll never play it again. Ugh! Also forgot to mention Boss Rush which initially I thought would be difficult but everytime you beat a boss the game saves so you don’t need to beat the mode in one go. This makes it pretty easy. Popular Post voodoo_eyes
#354 - Riddled Corpses EX (PS4) Was an alright top-down shooter overall. Not a fan of the mandatory grind to unlock and level up all cahracters, considering half of the characters are useless. It's pretty much why I don't care to plat the Vita version as well. Popular Post RunItsAShark
After 3 years and 11 months lol... #57 - Bloodborne (PS4) Enjoyment: 7.5/10 - The chalice dungeons were the really fun part of the game for me. Without those i'd be more like a 6-6.5/10. Difficulty: 4-5 - Until I got a really OP threaded cane +10 that had around ~500 damage than the difficulty really goes down lol
Popular Post Eli_bloodthirst
# 83 - Unravel The red Thread Well damn son, I actually got an enjoyable good platinum since MW. Man this stuff is way more enjoyable than word search by powgi, legit a 0.5/10 for enjoyment. This ray of sunshine got my motivated to do some heinous stuff though so whew, 4/10 difficulty: Not too much difficulty here with exception to the no death levels which had me annoyed a couple times. Game was easy enough the rest of the time though 8/10 enjoyment: Fun all round, never a moment I wasn't encapsulated in the game and I feel bad I waited so long to play it despite it being in my library for over a year. my only gripe is that the consistency during some of the platforming annoyed me sometimes but it's amazing none the less.

Popular Post Copanele
No. 49 - Assassin's Creed III Remastered Completion time : 1 week 3 days 6 hours Rarity : 3.57% (Ultra-Rare) Difficulty rate : 3/10 Fun rate : 7/10 I have got this Remastered as part of Season Pass for Oddysey and I have to say that I kind of enjoyed returning to the American Colonies as Connor. Although he is not my favourite assassin, I still like Connor as a character. His initial naivety paired with brutal combat skills worked quite well. What I liked: Haytham IS NUMBER 1 !!!! Best character in the colonies. Loved the Homestead missions, they really felt like a community. The frontier exploration and hunting was enjoyable honestly. The crafting system was...quite good! I am amazed that I put effort into that. And the naval combat(back when it first appeared) was pretty fun. Alsooooo animal powers in the DLC were pretty pretty fun to use, especially the eagle What I didn't like : Boston and New York are pretty crap, my least favourite cities in AC games this far. The ENCYCLOPEDIA OF THE COMMON MAN (fkin lumberers fishing nonstop). Achilles gets on my nerves ( double so in AC Rogue). The almanac pages, like seriously Benjie can't you keep your goddamn book together? The optional objectives are crap (Thomas Hickey mission, the Orpheus, list goes on). In the remaster the faces look HORRIBLE, they murdered my beautiful gentleman Haytham and made him as white as possible. Oh and also this : Spoiler All in all , a pretty fun game, not the best AC game, not the worst ( still rocking it Unity, still rocking it), eager to get to the last ones ....boy Liberation will be some fun stuff to play.
Popular Post snakebit10
#272 Mirror's Edge Catalyst The Few. The Elite. I had been wanting to play this for a while, even have had it for a while but never got around to it. I loved the first game even though I didn't plat it. This was more polished and I loved having a open world to free run in. Taking in the City of Glass was mesmerizing. I like Faith's character a lot, The supporting cast was great also. Trophy wise it wasn't that difficult. The dashes were fare and with enough repetition are doable. Over all a fun and good experience.

Popular Post Redgrave
#148: Cold Steel Conqueror - Trails of Cold Steel I'm not much into turn-based JRPG's but I wound up really enjoying this one once I got the hang of how the combat worked. I really enjoyed the dynamic between the characters and a lot of it reminded me of Persona with the time management system and how you can hang out with the other characters on certain days. With the way the build system works I didn't feel like there was a set party list I had to stick with but although I didn't feel like I got much mileage out of Emma or Gaius, everyone else felt like they did well no matter the battle. With the way this game ended off on I'm excited to play the sequel when it releases on PS4

Popular Post Maxximum
#24 Goosebumps: The Game You Can't Scare Me! Earn every Trophy. Yep, I was getting goosebumps along the way. I enjoyed this game. Better than my previous platinum and I even decided to make this my fastest platinum (finished in 2 days, 9 hours) and I know I could've been faster, but there were so many interruptions here and there which prevented me from moving forward. Shout out to @Miles_Warren for his detailed guides. Could not have done it without them. I loved the puzzles and items you pick up in the game. There was a part I messed up which cost me a whole playthrough, but it didn't bother me at all. After defeating Slappy, that orange-haired creepy dummy made the ending similar to any other horror scene. That Officer Murphy guard at the mall was also creepy. The shadows shown in the background would give me little fright and I had fun with that. Next up Goat Simulator My road to 1,337 (Elite milestone) trophies is still on! Ewe are gonna have bleat-ful ride.

The challenge on these soulsborne games has got the hooks in me. Bloodborne has brought back a feeling of love of games that I haven't felt in awhile. After a few days on Bloodborne I went to the nearest store and got the DARK SOULS TRILOGY on disc as well as NIOH. Can't believe I haven't played these games sooner. Oh well at least I'm experiencing now Man I haven't had this good of a feeling by popping a plat in a long time as it was a worth while challenge. Next onto Nioh. Popular Post Izularia
#249 Borderlands 2 (PS4) Borderland Defender Round Two Unlocked all Borderlands™ 2 trophies I started playing this game with someone I lost contact to many years ago, but I decided to pick it up again now with all the Borderlands 3 hype in the gaming community. I have to admit that I didn't enjoy the game that much, but it's not like I didn't have any fun with it. Definitely a game I'd recommend to play in co-op, it's really not too great alone. Feels good to complete the game after almost 4 years, but I guess I'm going to do the rest of the DLCs now as well. Did the Captain Scarlett one while going for the rest of the challenges as I needed to do the close-ranged shotgun kills from scratch since I apparently never played with the shotgun before, welp. Also, Jimmy Jenkins was a bit of a pain, but I got him eventually, weey. Edited April 12, 2019 by Izul
Popular Post Rick_Sanchez
Platinum # 232 Fun: 7.5/10 Difficulty: 5.5/10 Liked Driveclub? Loved completing all the DLC it had to offer? Lets do more of the same except on bikes! I do say, the difficulty had a noticeable bump, probably because bikes handle differently from cars and I kept driving the bike like I was driving a car and it didn't work so learning how to drive the bike is important to master the game. You'll get most of the trophies naturally through completing the challenges, most of them are easy, some are difficult to do all at once but most challenges can be completed one by one unless they're 2 challenges linked to the same star. The most challenging trophy without boosting will be the complete a race with 6 people and come in 3rd or better and save that replay. The online is dead so boost asap so you can get the online trophies done before the server shut down.

BARGAIN! I really wish they would remaster burnout revenge and takedown! I played them to death on the PS2. They are the better ones imo. Love this one, top soundtrack and a really fun racer but the map can be quite annoying when trying to look at that then crashing losing a race as a result. And let's not even go there with those shit awful 8 player online trophies and shitty challenges! Whole lot of nostalgic fun but some really annoying online crap to get through. Popular Post StraightVege
Hero of the day #187 - Adam's Venture: Origins "Maybe this budget title will be a serviceable Uncharted clone," I hoped... but the game was just BAD. Ugly graphics, janky animations, amateur voice work, utterly cringe-worthy dialogue, and a general lack of polish combine to make it feel like something out of a PS2 bargain bin. Even $1.99 is a rip-off. Generic protagonist Adam refuses to obey your controller inputs, while delivering one unfunny joke after another, and solving way too many hackneyed puzzles. His actor seems to voice most of the male characters, which sounds much like when a kid is playing with their action figures, and doing a bunch of silly voices for them. It's also puzzling how inconsistent deadly drops are: there's no fall damage, so you can usually survive a fall of any distance (which is handy for getting through the game quickly), but then there are some really oddly placed death planes, where merely stepping off a ledge instantly kills you. I found it amusing how water has no physics, too—it's like passing through vapor. Of course, this game just had to feature some of the worst stealth sections I've ever seen: guards are completely blind most of the time, but can suddenly spot you through walls, or from great distances. Meanwhile, Adam can't even peek around corners—trial and error is necessary, and is especially aggravating here, since you have to sit through a long loading screen to restart the checkpoint. Perhaps a decent story would have compensated for some of these shortcomings, but it's quite bare-bones, and what little there is has pro-Christian overtones, which isn't appealing to me (I later learned that Adam's Venture is on Wikipedia's list of "Christian video games"). The only positives are that it didn't crash once, is quick to platinum (I placed 8th fastest), and has an okay soundtrack. There's barely any humorous, "B-Movie" appeal to make up for how terrible this game is, so I really wouldn't recommend it, unless you just want an easy plat.
Popular Post FinalFan
#81 Guilty Gear Xrd Rev2 (PS3+4) -2% PSNP (-1% ALL): Ultra Rare. Following what I've done earlier this year with BlazBlue CentralFiction (full post below), I decided to go back after Guilty Gear Xrd (Sign + Revelator) Basically, I gave up because of Missions, where you have to do specific actions/tasks that help you to understand some game mechanics. Thanks to guides, I managed to understand what I needed to do (especially, easy and quick combos to deal a certain amount of damage) in order to clear most of them. And for Revelator / Rev2, there was also a grinding trophy that needed to be boosted (earn 150 badges), unless you're a genius or a real tryhard. I'm very happy to finally own those , as I'm a long-time GG-fan. Now, I'm waiting and also curious about the Granblue Fantasy game Arc System will release later this year, since it's obviously looking like GGXrd!

Popular Post Dauersack
#28. 1.16% rarity Mount&Blade is an old hardcore rpg, looking worse than most of the games of its age in terms of graphics but delivering gameplay and attention to detail sadly missed in other rpgs. You start out as a total nobody, no one gives a crap about you and you barely have enough money to hire 5-10 recruits that are basically bums and most will die during the first skirmish with a bandit group. The few that survive can get level ups and sometimes branch out into different classes. There are several factions with different recruits resulting in different possible unit types. There is a viking faction, a knight faction, a mongol faction ect. You are your own boss at the beginning and can put together troops from all the fighting factions to create a killer army with time, then decide whether you want to work as a mercenary, as a vassal guiding one of the factions to victory, as a kingmaker who helps put nobles from exile to their rightful throne, or maybe you want to declare yourself king and break the delicate balance of the realm by taking them all on. Aside from your soldiers that you level up, there is also a wide varity of companions you can form to increase your party skills and make your warband more effective. Choose wisely though because some of them hate each others guts. As mentioned the game is old, and it looks the part, but it is truly a hardcore rpg. It is a niche game combining the typical rpg elements with strategy elements (you can position your troops and give other commands in the battles while you fight alongside them) and it is a lot of fun to groom your band of bums into organized and well oiled machines of war (those Swadian Knights are beasts). Your character can't do shit in the beginning and you struggle to even keep the few bums together that you have, every encounter with too big of a bandit group could throw you back hard, whatever land you claim might be lost if you are not careful, relationships and marriage you forge with the nobles can work to your advantage or your detriment. Having any kind of ambition in this game that goes further than taking part in tournaments, randomly fighting some enemies or joining a faction and be content with the shitty few scraps of land you get requires careful planning or it will go wrong. The game is easy in some regards but hard in others even on a low difficulty, and absolutely brutal on the higher difficulties. It is repetetive but still almost never gets boring, but if you want to get the platinum and conquer the whole map you have to suffer through a ton of siege battles, and they admittedly suck for various reasons. Overall challenging platinum, some skill based, others grindy and a select few are a bit buggy, nothing too unusual and can mostly be done in a single long playthrough if the guide is followed, which is a good idea because conquering the whole map normally 3 times would be too much. The multiplayer trophies were quite tedious and a pain in the ass due to the multiplayer being so dead that never more than one lobby has more than 1-2 people, most have 0. I would have accepted not to get them because normally they take forever but I found someone to boost these trophies with and we had the time of our lifes fooling around while we put in the hours for the mindless grinding. I can recommend this game to people who like unconventional rpgs and want an ultra rare platinum as a reward for having a fun time with some grinding at the end. I am not aware of any other games that fill this niche exactly, and there probably won't be too many around. Let's hope that we are all still alive when the planned sequel, Mount&Blade Bannerlord, finally comes out and improves what is already a good and unique game even further.
