Popular Post starcrunch061
Plat #350: Kingdom Hearts II (PS3) Why I didn't get this plat before, I have no idea. I think it was because I did all of the heavy lifting in Critical, and was just tired. KH2 is one of my favorite games of all time. It's remarkable that Square could have done such a makeover on combat, and yet have it feel like a natural extension of the first game (I ignore any of the handheld games, because they stink). Sora really felt like he gained power throughout the game. When you had fully leveled high jump, double jump, and gliding, it just felt so...great. Of course, the new Squeenix also reared its ugly head in the "Final Mix" version. While I enjoyed the extra battles with O13, the added music was lackluster. But the worst offender was the inclusion of additional cutscenes. It's not so much that the scenes were there (although many are head-scratchingly boring - look! Xemnas is walking down stairs! LOTS OF STAIRS!). But the times in which they appeared made no sense at all. I'm getting ready for what is arguably the hardest battle in the main game (against Demyx), and...I'm sitting through some new 10 minute scene which is a flashback. Square REALLY needs to start hiring an art director worth his/her salt for their future productions. But quibbles aside (and, after all, I can always skip those scenes), KH2 remains fun as hell to play. Plat #351: Asdivine Dios Probably the best Kemco game I've played (which may be damning with faint praise), I enjoyed AD from start to finish. Playing on Normal/Hard gave the game a good challenge level (I don't know how anyone could beat the bosses on Expert in the main playthrough). The story was easily the best I've had from any Kemco game. The graphics are nice, though the strange motion of the characters was unnerving (why did Izayoi's hair move while he stood still in a house?). Combat was fun and fast, and the plat doesn't overstay its welcome (18 hours, with no guides, pretty much like every other Kemco game ever).

Nauticus87
#397 - Slime-San I wanted to draw some attention to this awesome platformer. How does it only have a couple hundred people who have played it? It's right up there with Super Meat Boy and N++. Think it's still on sale (in the UK store at least) so I'd recommend picking it up. The trophies really make you do everything and you feel as if you've earned the platinum when you're done. About 450 levels over three 'campaigns' (+ collectables, time trials, and harder NG+ versions of every level). 30 challenges where you have to hit a bunch of targets. An arcade to complete (admittedly a low point, they're terrible versions of games like Mario Kart and original Doom). Even a speed-run of all 400 core levels in one sitting, which I managed in 90 minutes. Check it out!

Popular Post DarkSoleride
Game: Monster Monpiece Platinum: Monster Monpiece Master Time Taken: 55 Hours Date Achieved: 22/08/2019 Format: PS Vita Wow well this game where to start... I purchased this game for £1.64 on the PS Store for the Vita thinking it will be a fun quirky game to play. Granting the game was fun it mixed tower defence gameplay with Yu-Gi-Oh! Style of attacking using cards that had various values, attributes and classes. The game whilst not completely re-imagines mythological creatures and monsters, like unicorns and minotaurs, as girls and women (feels more the former than the latter to be honest). Of course the way to power up these cards you have to rub them the right way breasts, arms, legs, literally anywhere goes to power them up and get different variations of that card. Most cards have 6 variations of that same card and class the trophy for getting 500 of them is a real pain and adds an unneeded 12 extra hours of grinding. Yes you read that correctly 12!! That is how much extra i recall spending on grinding out these extra cards. This is because you get these "Seal Stones" which of course you either pay with real money or if you are lucky enough like me you can redownload the game on a second Vita and grind them out in the Multiplayer which you can also choose which "seal stone" you need to unlock the card power up. Talking about a second PS Vita so this game does have a multiplayer mode and about 10 multiplayer trophies to get along the way. Whilst getting these trophies are not hard they are frustrating since the servers in 2019 are well dead. So i used Ad-Hoc mode and my second Vita to self-boost this game to get all the multiplayer trophies and to grind out money, "seal stones" and cards quickly which helped to the 500 cards trophy as well. I am really thankful to Compile Heart and Idea Factory International both have been brilliant in supporting the PS Vita even in 2019. Whilst this games main story is a bit cliche and forgettable it was fun none-the-less. Everything up to the 500 cards grind was a blast and i enjoyed it even if i felt super awkward rubbing what looked like underage minors on the game screen sitting on a train trying to hid my Vita from people haha. The grind killed the enjoyment towards the end. If you are not playing for the Platinum trophy you will have a great time with this but if you are maybe you will end up feeling like me, where one trophy just kills all enjoyment you had with this game. Fun 8/10 (if you do not go for the plat) 5/10 if you go for the plat Difficulty 2/10 regardless
Popular Post sasu_naru
#8: __________________________________ Perfect Hacker Difficulty: 2/10 Enjoyment: 8/10 Overall a great game. I liked the cast a lot more than the one from Cyber Sleuth, with one or two exceptions. The story was nice, but personally I wasn't as touched by it as others were who've played this game. I loved the addition of the new Digimon, though I felt like some fan-favorites were missing. It was nice that you could transfer your save from the first game, which made it a lot easier collecting the 700 digimedals. I recommend this game to everyone that already liked the first one. (And of course to all Digimon fans!) Took me 110 hours to complete.
Popular Post Eramir
Platinum #53: Rayman Legends There it is. My first ultra rare platinum. I really enjoyed completing this game, especially the musical levels, loved all the Origins levels as well. At first I didn't mind the challenges, got gold easy and tried going for the diamond cups (never got one from a challenge! ?) After a while I got a bit tired, only got silvers, accepted it and moved on. After that, I got renewed energy, got gold cups again. That went really well until the last week, then I was drained. I forced myself to complete the last week, so here we are. Great game, but the platinum is a bit tedious to get.

I have mixed feelings about it. I liked the story and the gameplay but i found some trophies annoying like completing 100% of the map and the fact that in NG+ you can't skip cutscenes. I even had to re-watch every tutorial. The platinum took me 40 hours. I hope Lacrimosa of DANA will be more interesting.

Popular Post minh2t
Platinum #223 Danganronpa V3: Killing Harmony Not sure how to describe this without spoiling the story, anyhow I did enjoy the story a lot but that ending left me unsatisfied. The Monokuma Dungeon test was pretty good, didn't expect a RPG kind of game when I bought this. The Ultimate Talent Development Plan mode was really original imo to build up the characters. Great concept overall. The thing that broke my enjoyment of the game most though is trying to S-Rank the casino games, wasted hours trying to get the Treasure Hunter, tried the excel sheet, the tool, but nothing worked. Eventually I got lucky on a configuration and found the monokubs early to get the points.
Popular Post Viper
#169 Midnight Deluxe Platinum Midnight Nothing to really say about this one. I have a whole thing going on right now. With Borderlands 3 coming in 3 weeks, I wanted to get Plat 169 out of the way...so I could focus on playing Spyro 3 for Plat 170 (Spyro 1 was 150, and 2 was 160), that way whatever I play after Spyro I don't really need to worry about Plat number anymore and it can be pushed aside if need be when BL3 gets here. As for this game...36 Fragments of Midnight was better.in terms of being an actual game. This was a weird Angry Birds affair, It was only really difficult because you never really knew what you trajectory was going to do as the little arrow the game gives you isn't enough information. Other than that it's an EZPZ to it's name.

Popular Post Copanele
No.62 : AC4Black Flag - PS3 +100% DLC Platinum Name : Prizes, Plunder and Adventure Completion Time : 3 years, 6 months, 3 days (whenever there's grind, there's laziness) Hardest trophy : Main game - Commited To The Cause - reach level 55 in multiplayer - hardest = try not to die out of boredom while farming for Wolfpack mode DLC and the game overall - Sacred Land - be the MVP with Jaguar in domination hardest = Ubisoft Servers are your most dreaded enemy for this crap trophy. Even with boosting it's incredibly stupid to connect. Difficulty : 4/10 - connectivity issue, game itself is really easy Personal Impression : 8/10 So...Platinumed this game on PS3 as well and let me tell you this...whoever came with the idea to put multiplayer components in single player games is an asshole. Thank GOD they learned their lesson from AC Rogue onwards. Overall the game as usual is pretty decent...not an assassins game, but a pirate game. Edward is a pretty compelling character , Blackbeard is my favourite in the game so far, the present world story makes no sense nor should you care about it. Naval combat is the best in all games period, never will get bored from shooting galleons filled with gold. You stab, you shoot, you plunder, you drink, the usual pirate stuff. I recommend this game for the single player experience. HOWEVER. Pardon my words but fuck the multiplayer section. Although more populated than on ps4 version (maybe people are scared that the PS3 servers are closing idk so everyone plays like crazy), the connectivity is horrendous!!!! Especially for the dreaded Sacred Land trophy , even with the help of 3 other awesome boosters it took us around 4 hours to even complete a game properly, because Ubisoft servers kept disconnecting like crazy. Not to mention the stupid grind to level 55. Yes I know there are other way grindier games ( Far Cry 2 lol) but still it was awful. Also Freedom Cry sucks ass, I don't like Adewale. Waste of money on that DLC just to 100% the game. I will keep away from pirate games for a while ( Unless they port Sid Meyer's Pirates! on PS4 that is) Cheers!

Popular Post voodoo_eyes
#385 - My Memory of Us The game seems fairly similar to Valiant Hearts, be it the art style, setting and puzzle-based mechanics. The art style is cool, it's got interesting story telling, but mediocre gameplay and some really awful checkpoints for trophy clean up. Enjoyment: 6 Difficulty: 3 (more due to annoying checkpoints than actual difficulty)
Popular Post LimitedTimeGamer
35# - Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age Living Legend Date Earned: 12th August 2019 Completed in 11 Months, 1 Week This Game. This masterpiece of a game. If you like Old School JRPG's, look no further. This was a masterclass of design, with its gameworld and story being breathtaking. And now, with the rerelease on switch, my only gripe with this version, the soundtrack, was solved, and in addition, there was even more content. Overall Gametime was 62:17 with 708 battles fought. I also did the bare minimum of sidequests, which would have added easily another 6+ hrs to the total. https://pbs.twimg.com/media/EBxHGqnVAAAxlAF?format=jpg&name=900x900 36# - Crash Bandicoot The N.Trepid Crash Bandicoot! Date Earned: 13th August 2019 Completed in 2 Years 1 Month I like Platformers. I loved Crash. When i heard there was a collection being released, i had to pick it up. Overall, the first game i feel had the most changes, including the relics. Its a shame the speed shoes were not in this one, as it would have made the relic trophies a tad bit easier, and would have shortened this plat time by a looooooot. Shoutouts to the devs that decided to change Crash's sprite hitbox and make jumping on the ropes even harder than it already was T.T 37# - Crash Bandicoot 2: The Wrath of Cortex The N.Credible Crash Bandicoot! Date Earned: 17th August 2019 Completed in 3 Days 21 Hrs Crash 2 was the first crash game i played, and one of the first platformers i ever completed on the PS1 (with the other one being Croc) This was a great remaster, and it felt good to finally have the slide jump back. A few changes i noticed, was that the red gem was moved slightly higher so you couldnt slide penguin jump to get it early, the polar bear felt faster, and it was great to have the Speed Shoes from 3 as a unlockable bonus from beating cortex. You also couldnt slide jump as easily over the mole pits, i managed it once without the speed shoes, and twice with them. 38# - Crash Bandicoot 3: WARPED The N.Vincible Crash Bandicoot! Date Earned: 19th August 2019 Completed in 1 Day 1 Hour I don't have much experiance with Crash 3. It was definatly the easiest of the three to complete, and the powerups were nice. Time travel gimmick was nice too. Overall, a solid way to end out the collection. 39# - Persona 5: Dancing In Starlight Dancing In Starlight Date Earned: 20th August 2019 Completed in 8 Months 2 Weeks Persona 5 was the last dancing game of the three i had to complete, and it definatly had the best songs overall. Persona 5 was my first Persona game in general, so it was nice to see the story of some characters continue, even if i havent finished the original game yet. Shoutout's to the awesome Morgana Ghost outfit, that was the best costume! :3 Overall, i beat this game in around 6 hrs, playing most songs 2-3 times. The reason it says 8 months is i got a trophy on booting it up. 40# - The Legend Of Heroes: Trails Of Cold Steel Cold Steel Conqueror Date Earned: 21th August 2019 Completed in 3 Years, 6 Months I feel like every tenth platinum i get should be a special game for me. And what a special game this one was. After my previous posts about Trails In The Sky, the obvious thing to do was to continue the series. But i had an issue. The Next Major Arc, CrossBell has not been translated officially. So, i could either wait for the Geofront Zero Patch, which i decided to do, or play the poor release of the beta patch that was floating around the internet. That left this game. With the release of Cold Steel III (and hopefully IV) on the horizon, i had to buckle down and catch up. So i started this journey. You play as the main character of this arc, Rean Schwarzer. Traveling from his home town of Ymir, he sets off to study at Thor's Millitary Academy as part of the newly established Class VII. (Why they didnt call it class VI is beyond me, but hey, i guess it sounds cooler) Each character was unique, each had their own backstory, relationships, and things to do. One of my favourite parts of this game was to take the time and spend BONDING POINTS (SOCIAL LINKS GO) to learn more about your favourites! Gameplay wise, you would spend a few days in a hub town, Trista, doing sidequests and the like, you would do an exam, either physical or question based, and then move on to a field study, which could take place in any of the major towns in the Erebonian Empire. That is all i will say about the story, as its story is crucial to the Kiseki series as a whole, as it takes place around the same time as the crossbell games. Trophy wise, this one was pretty standard for a JRPG. Collect All Chests (there are at least 500) Catch all the fish, Collect all the Magical Mcguffins that buff your characters and so on and so forth. The mcguffins require at least two playthroughs, as one is locked behind doing 40 sidequests, and you have to choose between two, making the other one NG+ There was also a trophy for playing for 100 HRs, i had around 47HRs when i beat the game for the first time, doing EVERY SIDEQUEST. (Normal). Then there are difficulty trophies, of which one is to clear the game on Nightmare, the hardest mode. Thankfully, NG+ makes this a nonissue. Warning. This Game does end on a cliffhanger which directly leads into the sequel game. You have been warned.
