Popular Post Bahraini_carguy
32th Platinum: Yakuza Zero Brief: I heard people talking about the Yakuza series before, from youtube videos to various memes but i only started playing Y0 just over a year ago and without a doubt, it's by far one of my favourite games out of the 8th generation era. I wasn't expecting it to draw me that much but i ended up loving it. It took a while for me to achieve platinum. As much as i love this game and its main + side content, some of the minigames and requirements can get really frustrating if you're going for 100% completion & platinum. Some requires skill, others require luck and in a lot of cases, you needed both if you wanted to go anywhere but by far the most frustrating part of this game's platinum is the Climax Battles which's essentially the challenge mode of the game. Despite all of this, i still had fun and I'm looking forward towards the rest of the series. I hope that they are decent, just that Yakuza 0 might have set the bar up way too high for the rest of the games to follow from what I heard. Popular Post JoaLoft
#272 - Resident Evil 2 Halloween 2021 finally gave me the push to pick up Resident Evil 2 again and finish the main trophy list. I was hesitant of diving in, knowing I'd have to finish the game another five or six times to get the platinum trophy, but considering how fast you can finish a run (even quicker if you take the 2nd Run route), this wasn't even half that bad. By now, if you have even the slightest affinity for good survival horror games, this must've been on your radar. Resident Evil 2 focuses on rookie police officer Leon Kennedy and Claire Redfield, who is searching for her brother Chris (see Resident Evil 1 if you haven't played that one yet, also a classic). Both arriving at Raccoon City together, they are forced to split up as their car crashes and they end up in the middle of a massive zombie outbreak, courtesy of the G-virus spreading. They both end up at the police station which has been overrun, and as they explore their surroundings, the situation escalates and they try to learn the truth about the outbreak at Raccoon City. Up to you to guide Leon and Claire out of the building, the city and help them survive the darkest night of their lives. Resident Evil is a hallmark in horror gaming, but this Resident Evil 2 remake is most likely the best game the entire franchise has to offer to this date. Its design is simple yet efficient, and the way the levels are designed, makes it feel as if everything is simultaneously tightly scripted and yet plays organically. The police station opens up slowly until you can explore all floors and most rooms, and when the Tyrant, colloquially known as Mr. X, is thrown into the mix, the game turns into a delicious cat-and-mouse chase in this opened-up maze where you attempt to find the exit out of the station while you're being hunted relentlessly. Leon and Claire will both have to face him, although their paths will cross with each other as well, and they have their own unique end boss battles, including the true ending you only unlock when you complete the second playthrough with the remaining protagonist. There's inventory management, some optional exploring included, crafting and weapon upgrading available. The game looks beautiful, plays incredibly fluidly and has a very good amount of replayablity if you want to play the A/B runs from both sides, not even factoring in the extra game modes. And it runs as stable as you could hope for: I experienced zero crashes or freezes! It is an expertly crafted piece of software on all fronts. In fact, I find it very difficult to find any cons worth speaking of. Resident Evil 2 (OG) is considered one of the best survival horror games ever made. And this 2019 remake made it - unbelievably - even better. A modern timeless classic which deserves to be picked up by anyone who is more than casually interested in gaming. Most frustrating trophy - A Small Carbon Footprint Between this trophy and completing The 4th Survivor Mode - which I finished successfully on my second attempt if you can believe it - I opted for "A Small Carbon Footprint" as the most frustrating trophy in this game. To get this, you need to take less than 14000 steps in one playthrough. In game terms, this translates to finishing the entire game in the most efficient way possible, forsaking any needless backtracking and grabbing all the essentials along the way, managing your inventory efficiently. There is only one way to succeed at this trophy: you need prior knowledge to solve the puzzles and collect key items in advance so you can unlock the path forward much quicker than if you'd explore naturally. You'd think there's a safety margin - and there is. But not by much. Even running several times back and forth from and to a typewriter (i.e. a save point) if you want to grab some extra supplies in a nearby room, can screw you over. This is what happened in my first attempt: I ended up with 16000+ steps at the end of Claire's A-run. Playing Leon's B-run not only got me through the game quicker, but I learned to pick up the hip pouches ASAP to expand my inventory and stash much more stuff in the item box. There is one thing that will help you out phenomenally with this trophy, both Hardcore playthrough trophies and a few more such as the "use no medical items in a playthrough" trophy: the Samurai Edge. This handgun has infinite ammo and still packs a good punch to manage most challenges well. You'll still need the shotgun, flamethrower, grenade launcher, Magnum, whatever you can pick up (depending on who you're playing as, Leon and Claire's available weapons differ), but this handgun essentially negates you picking up any handgun ammo and lets you focus on crafting special ammo with all that gunpowder you find in abundance. How do you earn the Samurai Edge, you ask? Finish the game once on Standard or Hardcore difficulty with an S-rank, which you earn by finishing the game under a certain amount of time. So, my advice if you're starting out? Enjoy the game first, play through both sides leisurely, and fully immerse yourself in the experience. Second, play the game on Standard difficulty and finish it under the required time to get the S-rank and unlock the Samurai Edge. And third, use it to commit yourself to everything else (except for the "don't use the item box in a playthrough" trophy, considering the gun needs to be retrieved from the item box). If you disagree with my pick and you think the "Grim Reaper" trophy (completing The 4th Survivor mode) was more frustrating: I feel you. If you don't manage you limited inventory well, you'll be in a world of pain and frustration with that mode.

Popular Post rjkclarke
Platinum #335 Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 (PS3) Future Auror Get all Trophies, 100% the game! It turns out this game in reality turned out to be one of the most pleasant surprises I’ve had in a long time in a video game. It’s always a daunting prospect playing video game adaptations of films. Especially as the previous game had far more aspects of it that over-burdened it and made it a far less enjoyable experience than elevated it. Here however, quite a few of the wrongs were righted, and I think a genuine effort was made to improve upon some of the weaker aspects of the previous title. Harold Porter and the Dilapidated Hedgehog Number Two....... Sorry, sorry. It’s the last one – I had to get at least one of these in..... Ahem – Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2, is – at the surprise of absolutely nobody, unless they have awakened from a coma they’ve been in since 1997, is the video game adaptation of the final instalment in the Harry Potter film series. Once more the gameplay is that of a third person cover shooter (wander?). Now – you will rarely see me praise EA as a company – and they are very rarely ever associated with crafting many of their products with love. However, this game I believe is one of the rare exceptions. Before we really get into this though, let me just establish that this is not a fantastic game, it’s a vast improvement on its predecessor – a game which wasn’t bad, it was just outlandishly unremarkable. I’d be lying if I said this was a tremendous feat of gaming brilliance, but it is fun, and I can appreciate the steps they made to improve upon the previous entry. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2, introduces the concept of multiple playable characters. In previous games we’ve only been able to play as Horatio Pottery, Roon Wasley and Hammyone Ganja, up to this point. Are all of you Harry Potter fans suitably twitching now that I’ve gotten all those names wrong? Any eagle eyed Harry Potter fans will notice at least one of those is actually from one of the books. Here however, we get introduced to a whole raft of playable characters, you can’t select them, and they all control exactly the same, but it’s at least a nice inclusion. I can’t say that I ever expected or wanted to be able to play as Professor McGonagall, but it was nice to be able to. Do all the characters look exactly like they should? Unfortunately no, they don’t, somehow Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince still looks visually more appealing than this game does. The level design compared to the previous game however, is a marked improvement, as the variety on display, and attention to detail is impossible not to notice, as it should almost every area feels very distinct. Unfortunately, the same can’t be said about the character designs themselves, they mostly resemble the actors, they are supposed to, apart from Molly Weasley. I do hope that Julie Walters never played this – because, honestly the best way to describe her likeness in this game would probably be that of a really despondent Owl, that had gotten a gigantic puddle of muddy water kicked into its face, and had the sudden realisation, that mud wasn’t the only nasty smelly thing in that puddle. Alright, so I took a long time to say she looks like a demented owl, but I found it really distracting. The voice acting on the other hand – is generally of quite a high standard. For the most part at least, I think Adam Sopp performs outrageously well as Harry. It might seem like I’m over praising him, but he sounds so close to Daniel Radcliffe that if you didn’t know it wasn’t him, you’d probably just assume that it was Radcliffe playing the part. That’s no easy feat either, because Radcliffe has a very specific cadence to his voice, that would take a lot of practice to truly master, he almost has a breathiness to how he speaks, so replicating that whilst maintaining the character is very impressive. Alice Keenan provides an equally good portrayal of Hermione, much like with Sopp – if you didn’t know it wasn’t Emma Watson, I don’t think you’d question it. Rupert Grint, actually does play Ron here, so Ron feels about as authentic as you can get. There’s a moment in the game that’s a huge part of the book and the film, I’ll just say this for any Harry Potter fans that might be reading, just to avoid spoilers for the Harry Potter films for those who haven’t seen them, it’s a scene in the woods, with a stone (you’ll know the one I mean). The fact you control that scene in the game, makes that moment, and that part of the experience all the more powerful, it’s an amazing thing how just the element of control can enhance a sequence like that, and Sopp’s voice cracking when he delivers the “Stay with me” line at the end actually hit me pretty hard. The soundtrack is decent enough – there’s times when it really evokes the sombre funeralistic tone that the final Harry Potter film also has, and then at other times it’s just a little bit too nondescript to really even discuss, which ends up being another element of the game that ends up being slightly inconsistent. However, for all the great voice performances, there’s a few that really do make your toes curl on occasion. Snape and Voldemort are voiced by the same person, and unfortunately you can tell too, because they sound far too similar. Specifically in the boat house scene – where both characters are communicating with one another and you can tell that it’s just one person in a recording booth throwing his own voice back and forth. Not only do they sound too similar, they don’t really sound like either character either, so that only elevated the problem further. I have to apply the same criticism that I did to the performance of Bellatrix Lestrange in my review of the previous game, which is that it just doesn’t quite work, the voice actress is pretty good in other performances of hers I’ve heard, but her portrayal of Bellatrix is just “generic mad” instead of wild and dangerous, it’s one of the things that can really distract you during the game. One of the most positive areas of improvement upon its predecessor is the gameplay. It is such a leap in terms of both playability and engagement. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2, is actually a much more streamlined experience, when compared with the previous title, instead of padded out extra missions, elements of actions scenes found in the film and put you right in amongst the action in the battle of Hogwarts, the main story itself might be fairly short, but it never outstays its welcome, and I found it incredibly easy to just get swept along and play almost the entire thing without stopping. The biggest improvement of note, is probably in the spell mechanics – previously you had to manually select a new spell to switch to, an aspect which honestly didn’t quite work. Here, however, the only requirement to switch spells is to double tap a button or switch between the various face buttons for various spells, which means you can essentially combo spells together, for some increased damage. It’s an element that really streamlines the experience – if not also oversimplifies it. EA are at the very least pretty competent at making decent shooters, I think most of us can probably agree on that – so they decided to really apply that knowledge here, instead of the more lackadaisical way they approached it before. They did it in a way that each spell would essentially represent how a gun might work in a shooter. Stupify mimics a bolt action rifle with singular shots, Expulso that of a machine gun, Confringo mimics a Rocket Launcher, Petrificus Totallus a Sniper Rifle, Protego a spell shield and Impedimenta essentially functions like homing rockets would. Those small improvements go a long way, as before the spells you used were pretty much irrelevant, it just amounted to “point spell at head until enemy falls over.” This time around you have to employ a bit of strategy, as each one is more viable depending on the situation. The route to the platinum in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 is somewhat of a simple one – despite the fact the game has difficulty trophies. As long you stay in cover you’d pretty much get through the game without too many problems. You do need to play through it twice, as the hardest difficulty is only unlocked after finishing the game. I’d also get up a collectible guide for your first playthrough, and knock out those nice and quickly. That extra playthrough won’t be too taxing either, mine took me just shy of three and a half hours I believe. You’ll also need to complete challenge mode versions of each level, and get at least Gold rating in all of those. These are really fun, and do test your knowledge of the game somewhat, as it encourages the use of spell combos and quick stuns, to maximise the amount of time you can shave off. My advice for both the higher difficulties and the challenges would be to abuse the Impedementa spell, as it’s a homing spell, you can essentially, lock the targets, snap out of cover, fire your spell off, and then snap back in to take out the enemies that way, trust me it’ll save your life a lot on higher difficulties if you chose to play this game. I think I’d only really recommend this one to fans of Harry Potter, because realistically there are better games you could play – I definitely had a lot of fun with this one, and if you are a Harry Potter fan you’d probably have a good time too. As far as movie tie in video games go, as with a lot of the Harry Potter games they do tend to fall on the higher quality side of that specific breed of video game. I’m certainly happy to have played it, and it’s nice to finally have the series complete on my profile – the little “Thanks for playing” montage they give you at the end of the game, showing you little clips from all of the previous Harry Potter games. Happened to be lovely little sign off to a video game series that I think they genuinely loved making – so that was charming to see, thanks for that EA Bright Light. For now I’m done with Harry Potter based trophies until Hogwarts Legacy releases. Edited November 6, 2021 by rjkclarke

Popular Post tak_106
Does Everything a Spider Can! (Platinum #117) This 2014 game by Beenox and Activision was delisted some years ago, but I found a copy for PS4 at my local library I could borrow for 2 weeks. Fun game and not too hard. It was remarkable to find the playing experience very similar to the most recent generation of Spider-Man games. Swinging though Manhattan, web rush, melee, web shooting, lots of collectibles, street crimes to respond to - they're all there, although not nearly as slickly polished as the new games. Combat is missing the aerial component, so you end up spamming punch and dodge on the ground, but the game is still humorous and relaxing to play. Missions are a mix of stealth takedowns and going in all webshooters blazing, depending on your style. Whole range of bosses to fight - from Cletus Kasady to Kingpin to Electro to Carnage to Black Cat to Green Goblin. The postgame grind for XP to level up all 13 spider-suits is a bit boring, since you'll be doing a lot of repeated Police Deadlocks. Although, if you'd rather re-do the individual chapter over and over for Black Cat - Hi Felicia! - well, I won't judge.

Popular Post DesmaBR
Platinum #152 Master Marsupial Get EVERY trophy I couldn't help myself. I already had done it on PS5 a few months, but I've never felt quite satisfied with just it. I mean, c'mon, the PS4 plat is an actual ultra rare, while the PS5 plat is sitting at around 9%. ... So I've been hanging out in a trophy discord, and their challenge for this month was to get an Ultra Rare plat here. So I though "Why not go for Crash 4 again? My muscle memory should be pretty good" And surprisingly enough, I was right, it went a lot smoother than my first time. Perfectionist relics went by pretty smoothly, I already knew where all of the crates were and knew how to deal with the game. The real problem really is the loading, which is a bit long; fine if this was a normal videogame, but with how often you'll have to restart a stage due to the Perfectionist relic requirements, you definitely start to notice them. Playing the PS5 version is definitely preferred, but since I've already had done it before, it went by pretty smoothly on PS4. The Time Trials went by smoothly too, managed to get better times than my PS5 playthrough. Even managed to get a Toys for Bob relic, which freaked me out. Flashback tapes are basically just puzzle stages, so no problems there... Except when I had problems. Surprisingly harder than I remember. N. Verted stages are pretty unfortunate, playing them is just depressing. Complete waste of time, they're just here so they can slap "Over a 100 stages!" on the box. Some of the wachy filters they've used (Like the dino world) honestly hurt my eyes. Edited November 6, 2021 by DesmaBR

It feel like was watching the movie just by playing the game. The choices in the game were very good and funny throughout the game. The Combat in the game was incredible. Popular Post AJ_Radio
Platinum #291: Mega Man 11 Difficulty: 7/10 Excitement Rating: 8.5/10 Estimated Time to Platinum: 15+ Hours Hardest Trophy: Survival Skills ( Complete Dr. Light's Trial for the first time ) Since I wrote my actual review for Mega Man 11 earlier, going to keep this short. I had a good time with this game. A proper return to the series, with a new coating of paint and a new game mechanic (Double Gear) to keep Mega Man veterans satisfied. The formula here is pretty much the same. You tackle one of eight stages with the robot masters in any order of your choosing, then you play a few stages of Dr. Wily's Castle before you finally take on Dr Wily himself. Mega Man 11 is rather short, as even with my struggles it took me around 15 hours or so to get the platinum. Superhero difficulty wasn't too bad. The speedrun trophy was a lot more difficult due to the fact that the timer doesn't pause unless you completely quit out of your game. Backup saves were necessary. Finally there is Dr. Light's Trial, the supposed platinum breaker for many people. You have 30 rooms to push thru of varying enemies, platforming and overall difficulty. Overall, I didn't find the trial too bad, as the game gives you a breather in rooms 11 and 21 because of goodies. There is a new enemy called Anti Eddies that take away your goodies, if you don't defeat them in time they will run away with them. Using power gear for one of my weapons takes good care of them. Enjoyable game with a fair bit of challenge. Nothing too crazy. The graphics were great and Mega Man himself actually looks better in this new graphical makeover. I definitely felt paying $29.99 for this game was a bit too much, and it took literally ages for it to finally get a discount, which is the main reason why it took me so long to finally get around to Mega Man 11. A good title from Capcom, and one I recommend to all Mega Man fans.

Six levels releasing every few months as part of an episodic format seemed to fit the sandbox-esque nature of the earlier games in the series very well, so I conspired to get a cheap Steam key and join in on the fun from Day 1. Over a hundred hours later and I was more than satisfied with my purchase. In late 2018, Hitman 2 arrived and gave me another 100+ hours of fun on Steam. Fast forward to 2021 and me having returned from my dark ages to resume hunting Trophies on Playstation platforms, and I feel.... underwhelmed. Hitman 3 should have provided a grand final to the 'World of Assassination' trilogy, but instead it falls well short of the first two entries. We know the brief by now; you play a genetically-modified assassin-for-hire, but in the least surprising turn of events ever you decide to go against your programming and your employer - dismantling the not-Illuminati along the way. Gameplay consists of social stealth - using disguises to hide in plain sight, although traditional stealth is just as feasible - in gorgeous sandboxes in a multitude of settings. The maps were the strong point of both Hitman and Hitman 2, but in Hitman 3 they feel.... less interesting. Smaller, with less to do. Sadly, this continues the trend set by the first two entries; Hitman [2016] came with two tutorial maps and six full size maps, followed by Hitman 2 that had five full size maps and one small map (plus two maps as paid DLC). Hitman 3's levels feel like another step back with a collection of maps that all have specific issues plus the worst way to finish the trilogy off; a short and linear level that does away with everything that made all that came before so good. I hate to make assumptions, but it feels like IOI kind of hit the brakes on development of H3 once they secured the James Bond IP for their next project. As if creating the very best maps - like in the previous two games - was no longer the target. Dubai, Mendoza, Chongqing are alright-ish, while Dartmoor and Berlin are weighed down by their gimmicky structure.... as if they were needlessly complicated proof-of-concept pitches for systems and concepts we can expect in James Bond. Maybe this is a case of me being cynical in my increasingly old age (I did start collecting Trophies in 2008....) but Hitman 3 just isn't as good as it could have been - and that's just such a shame. The story is worse as well, some of the choices made feel like cop-outs rather than being intended to drive the narrative forward properly. The Trophies are quite formulaic, as they were in the previous two games, with each level requiring a few certain things to be done; find all the shortcuts, discover all the area, get to Level 20 Mastery, and complete a handful of hand-picked challenges. The Escalation requirements from the first game are thankfully still gone, as are the Master difficulty completion Trophies from 2, and the starting location Trophies shared between both previous titles. No long being forced to play on Master difficulty once per level drops the difficulty of this Trophy list even further since that mode was the only part of Hitman 2 that couldn't be properly save-scummed (like how the Escalations in 1 couldn't be either). I honestly couldn't rate this as a 3/10, but it's not a Visual Novel either so 2/10 sounds about right. While this whole game has left a sour taste in my mouth, it's mostly down to the fact that the previous two were just so good. And with both of them now being updated to H3's mechanics and available on PS5, they play better than ever. Hokkaido remains one of my favourite levels in any game ever, and on PS5 in H3 you get the very best version of it. So, even if the latest map pack (because that's what all three games are, really) is a bit underwhelming, the overall trilogy is absolutely stellar and one of the best modern gaming experiences available even with the sub-par ending. Enjoyment: 8.5/10 Difficulty: 6/10 Completion time: 10 hours / 2 days, 1 hour Visually very gorgeous looking game, very colorful, fast paced & fun 2D fighting game. I'm a big fan of Arc System's other fighting games; BlazBlue series and Dragon Ball FighterZ, so I've been wanting to try a Guilty Gear game for the longest time. I really liked the experience & I might keep playing GG: Strive online from time to time, since it's fun and I haven't experienced much lag while gaming online. Trophy wise it's really easy list to complete, except Messiah Will Not Come Trophy which pumped up the difficulty rating with +3 points for me, since I'm not a fighting game God. It's a decent challenge, but since the Secret boss' AI is so cheap & unpredictable at times (also has double amount of health & deals extra damage to you); It was so infuriating when I had full health & I literally had to tickle his ballsack to win, but instead he went supreme God mode and destroyed my whole existence within 5 seconds; I did not enjoy fighting him at all. Popular Post cr1s
#580 - Under Night In-Birth Exe:Late Thanks for Playing! Done all that could be done inside of Under Night In-Birth Exe:Late! We thank you very much for playing our game. Game Enjoyment: 8/10 Platinum Difficulty: 3/10 "FAST CLOSE: DEEVAYDEUH!" (I always get a chuckle out of those voice-overs in fighting games. ) I'm always excited to add another fighting game platinum to my trophy collection, especially if it's fun like this one. I really like Arc System Works when it comes to fighting games, and this one certainly didn't disappoint. Fine cast, great soundtrack, cool gameplay (especially those Infinite Worth EXS), and amazing visuals - a great time all round. I found the platinum to be fairly easy. You have some excellent Hilda cheese along with lenient requirements for Score/Time Attack and Survival Mode. 30 wins in Survival Mode might seem a lot, but I easily got 43 wins before losing on my first try. But then again, I may have gotten lucky with the AI. I expected it to be challenging and thought I'd be attacked often during the later waves but nope, the opponents just stood there most of the time and even backed away on their own sometimes. There's also a combo trophy for each character, but all of them were easy. Byakuya's can be tricky, but I discovered a great way to do it (which I described here) while playing around with a specific combo I found in the aforementioned thread, and it didn't take me long to get it done in the end. You also need to do other stuff like finish Arcade Mode with each character, perform each character's Infinite Worth EXS, play a Ranked Match, and do a little grind at the end. All in all, yet another quality fighting game published by ArcSys. I'm jumping straight into Late[st] because damn, this game is awesome and I wanna keep playing it for a while more. I'm also happy to know that a sequel is in the works. I'm definitely looking forward to spending more time with this series!
Popular Post Parker
Superstars V8 Racing #17 - You are a Platinum Superstar! Collect all Trophies. I started this over 11 years ago and just got around to finishing it. It was a very easy platinum, other than a few buggy trophies. The game is actually pretty enjoyable, too. Popular Post Jamescush147
Platinum 277 Full House! Collect all Trophies 12.24% Rare Platinum1 week, 2 days, 3 hours Good game but I wish they would add a SKIP button for replays of scenes I've seen before. Took me 5 runs with some chapter selections to get everything. The last run was for just one trophy - the last trophy I needed. ? Popular Post Undead Wolf
#384 - Manhunt Psychopath Unlock all trophies. It's funny that this is one of those games that caused a huge moral panic back when it released and had the media up in arms about how it would corrupt the youth of society and what not. It's actually relatively tame by today's standards. Some of the executions are still pretty brutal, like the one with the baseball bat, but the PS2 graphics lessen the impact. The violence ends up feels more cartoony than it would in a AAA game released today. I suppose one thing that doesn't really age is its story and main character. You play as a death row prisoner who's forced to participate in a snuff film about murdering gang members around the city. Essentially you're a bad guy killing other bad guy all while the mastermind behind it all gets off to it. I guess I can see why it would set off the "why won't someone think of the children!?" types. ? But controversy aside, this is actually a pretty solid stealth game. Luring an enemy over by making noise, sneaking up behind them, and then brutally executing them never got old. You can actually die pretty quickly in this, especially in the later levels where most of the enemies have guns, so you really have to think about your approach carefully. The melee combat is pretty atrocious, so you can't rely on that to get you out of a bad situation. If you're spotted, 9 times out of 10 the best option is to run away and hide in the shadows. You can't make too many mistakes though because you're ranked on each level, with one of the parameters being a time limit. In order to platinum this game, you need to get a good number of executions on each level and beat it fairly quickly. It's a decent challenge, but doable with a bit of trial and error. #385 - Sakura Succubus 4 Succubus Team Find everything there is to find about your Succubus friends. In this one, Hiroki and his harem of succubi go on a vacation to a private island, so I guess you could call this the beach episode of the Sakura Succubus series. ? They get up to the kind of shenanigans you would expect. Swimming, ghost stories, a test of courage, and of course lots of [Censored]. ? This is actually the last game in the series, although it doesn't feel like it. From what I understand, Sakura Succubus 5 was cancelled, or at least put on hold, which is a shame because I really enjoy these characters and I'd like to see a fulfilling conclusion, maybe even with multiple routes so you can pick your favourite girl. Who knows, maybe one day it'll happen. Really enjoyed my time reading through these VN's and of course admiring all the beautiful art. I'm looking forward to playing the other Sakura games. #386 - Pretty Girls Klondike Solitaire Klondike Grand Master! Unlock all other trophies I'm not very familiar with Solitaire, so it took some time to learn the rules to the point where I could pass one of the girl's stage. All worth it though in the pursuit of unlocking a more skimpy outfit for each of the different characters. ? I've only played one other Pretty Girls game so far, but I think I enjoyed the gameplay in that one more. This wasn't a bad time though. Mostly here for the art anyways. #387 - Senran Kagura: Peach Beach Splash MARVELOUS! Obtained all trophies. Yes, another cultured video game. This happens to be the last Senran Kagura game to release on PlayStation before Sony got all trigger happy with the censorship, so it was kinda bitter sweet playing this. It's a game that would have to be heavily toned down if released today because Sony hates fun. But anyways, I would actually go so far as to say this is my favourite game in the series. I really enjoyed third person shooter gameplay in this, more so than the melee combat of the main titles. It's just so much fun sliding and jetpacking around the level. The maps do a good job of facilitating the increased mobility you have. Of course you're not using real guns, but water guns. All the girls are in their bikinis which is of course a big plus. When you down an enemy, you even get to do an execution of sorts on them, but instead of anything brutal, you shoot off their bra or pantsu while they look all embarrassed. It's very HOT. ? I thought the card system in this game was also a very enjoyable mechanic. Basically, you buy or are rewarded with card packs, and opening them gives you different skills and what not with different rarities that you can use in battle. You can also upgrade your favourite cards by using the resources duplicates give you. It makes for a good amount of variety in how you play. The trophies here are pretty straight-forward. Not very difficult, but there's a decent amount of grinding involved. Thankfully that can be cut down a good bit by backing up the save, upgrading some cards to pop the related trophies, then reloading and doing the same thing but with a different set of trophies. There's only one part of the plat that can be considered challenging, which is the final tournament, but it's nothing too crazy so long as you've got a good setup. Really enjoyed my time with this game.
